Uncertainty Modeling and Robust Control for LCL Resonant Inductive Power Transfer System

  • The LCL resonant inductive power transfer (IPT) system is increasingly used because of its harmonic filtering capabilities, high efficiency at light load, and unity power factor feature. However, the modeling and controller design of this system become extremely difficult because of parameter uncertainty, high-order property, and switching nonlinear property. This paper proposes a frequency and load uncertainty modeling method for the LCL resonant IPT system. By using the linear fractional transformation method, we detach the uncertain part from the system model. A robust control structure with weighting functions is introduced, and a control method using structured singular values is used to enhance the system performance of perturbation rejection and reference tracking. Analysis of the controller performance is provided. The simulation and experimental results verify the robust control method and analysis results. The control method not only guarantees system stability but also improves performance under perturbation.

  • This paper presents a control scheme for a three-phase PWM converter system without any voltage sensors. Two input currents and one load current are measured. In a general PWM converter system, the required AC input and DC output voltage values in order to control the converter are estimated using the differential equations of the converter from the measured input currents and load current values in the switch modes of the converter circuit. The PI controller is used as DC voltage controller and sinusoidal tracking controller which tracks directly AC input current is used as input current controller. The Proposed method is verified by simulations. This paper describes the estimation method and configuration of the controller, and discusses steady state and transient performances of the converter

  • In this paper, we are concerned with a maneuver detection algorithm which uses the 'lost' measurements down-sampled for computation load saving when a target is in quiescent motion. In general applications of estimation, measurements are available at a relatively high rate, while the estimation processing equipment can only operate at a lower sampling rate. Furthermore, when a target is in nearly quiescent motion, the update of the tracking filter need not to be implemented with maxim urn process power of the filter since the states of the target vary relatively slowly.   • This paper deals with the issue of motion control of a single rod cylinder-load system using simple adaptive control (SAC) method. Prior to controller design, the experiment of open-loop response has been performed. Based on it, design parameters of transfer function are obtained and used for controller design. The effect of parallel feedforward compensator has been investigated by computer simulation, suppressing the oscillatory motion. Through experiments it is conformed that the SAC method gives good tracking performance compared to the PD control method.

  • 표준 배터리 모듈 시스템을 위한 새로운 배터라 충.방전기를 제안한다. 전체 시스템의 크기를 줄이기 위해 충전기와 방전기의 회로가 하나의 컨버터로 구현되었으며, 최대 전력 추적을 포함한 태양전지 출략전압 제어와 태양 전지 출력과 부하 전력에 따른 배터리 충.방전 전류 제어를 동시에 수행한다. 또한, 제안된 컨버터는 부하의 전략 공급을 간단히 할 수 있는 일성 전압 버스(regulated bus)를 제공한다. 제안된 컨버터는 특성상 DCM으로 동작하므로 전듀의 첨두지가 크므로 고전력 시스템에서는 여러 개의 모듈로 사용되어야 한다.

  • 본 연구는 공장자동화에 이용되는 산업용 로봇의 분산 적응 제어기법을 고찰한 것이다. 이 제어기법은 메니폴레이터가 원하는 경로를 따라 진행할 때 부하의 변동에 신속히 대응할 수 있도록 함으로서 실시간 제어가 가능하게 하는 것이다. 제어방식은 전체 시스템을 규모가 작은 여러개의 부시스템으로 분리하고, 각 부시스템을 공칭제어기와 적응제어기로 제어하는 것이다. 이 제안한 기법을 컴퓨토 시뮬레이션한 결과 매니풀레이터 동력학이 비선형이며 부하변동이 있을 때에도 원하는 궤적에 양호하게 추종함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 주파수 응답 특성이 부하 변동에 따라 변화되는 채널에서의 고속, 고신뢰의 데이터 전송을 위하여 CSK방식의 신호전송 특성을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 방법을 통하여 알아보았다. 특히, 간단한 구조의 Roll-off 필터를 등화기로 사용함으로써 극히 낮은 S/(I+N) 환경하에서도 BER을 크게 향상시키는 결과를 얻었다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 결과 S/I=2, S/N=2 즉, S(I+N)=1에서 에러없는 데이터 전송이 이루어지는 것을 확인하였다.

  • This paper presents a neuro-control algorithm for the speed control of a direct drive motor without the knowledge of the dynamics of the motor and the characteristics of a nonlinear load. In the field of motor control, it is not possible to directly use the back-propagation method in order to train a network since the desired output of the network is not known. Hence, we propose an extended back-propagation algorithm to force the closed loop system to give desired results. Experimental results shown that the proposed neuro-controller can reduce the unknown load effects and have the good velocity tracking capabilities.

  • This paper deals with the issue of force synchronizing control for the clamping servomechanism of injection molding machines. Prior to the controller design, a virtual design model has been developed for the clamping mechanism with hydraulic systems. Then, a synchronizing controller is designed and combined with an adaptive feedforward control in order to accommodate the mismatches between the real plant and the linear model plant used. As a disturbance, the leakage due to the ring gap with relative motion in the cylinder has been introduced. From the robust force tracking simulations, it is shown that a significant reduction in the force synchronizing error is achieved through the use of a proposed control scheme.
