The word ‘growth’ represents an increase in actual size, implying a change of state. In science and technology, growth may imply an increase in number of institutions, scientists, or publications, etc. The present study demonstrates the growth of neurology literature for the period 1961-2010. A total of 291,702 records were extracted from the Science Direct Database for fifty years. The Relative Growth Rate (RGR) and Doubling Time (Dt.) of neurology literature have been calculated, supplementing with different growth patterns to check whether neurology literature fits exponential, linear, or logistic models. The results of the study indicate that the growth of literature in neurology does not follow the linear, or logistic growth model. However, it follows closely the exponential growth model. The study concludes that there has been a consistent trend towards increased growth of literature in the field of neurology.

The purpose of this study is to develop a general model for web-based children's literature education and to validate the model. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used for the analysis of this study. The findings of this research were three point. At First, the model of web-based children's literature education have five major components i.e., objects, construction of activity, display of activity, management of it, and evaluation of it. At second, the creative writing was revealed the core of the web-based children's education. The third, web-based children's literature activity can be followed by cyber learning community activities.

The Bible has been and still is one of the most influential books ever published. The English Bible has a great impact on English language, literature, and culture. Therefore, knowledge of the Bible is essential in learning English language, its literature, culture and tradition. Biblical allusions are found in great literature and the daily newspapers as well. Rock musicians, screenwriters, television producers, and advertisers use the Bible as a source. Politicians use the words and accounts of the Bible to frame their debates. The Bible has continued to be philosophically, ethically, religiously, and politically influential in Western, Eastern, now World cultures. Therefore, not to know it means not to understand a great portion of world culture. This study examines the influence of the first book of the Bible, Genesis, in English language, literature, and culture. Furthermore, this study suggests why we should incorporate the English Bible in English education.

Objectives : The purpose of the study was to investigate the overall research trend and change in dental fear during 9 years(2004-2012) and to identify the major outcomes and future directions to research. Methods : Descriptive literature review was conducted for dental fear in Korea. The research setting should be elementary, middle, high schools and adults. Results : In this study, the literature review of the most used tools to measure fear was that DFS. The most commonly used instrument was Dental Fear Survey(DFS) in the literature review. The number of dacayed tooth was proportional to subjective fear and anxiety. The indirect experience of dental pain was heard from family and friends. So the fear caused the patients to have negative bias toward dental treatment. The negative reliability towards the dentist increased the dental fear to the patients. Conclusions : Through the literature review, dental hygienists are able to understand the dental fear of the patients.

This paper discusses the independent seminar as one of the appropriate courses, in particular, for the students who study English literature in the doctoral program. Those who take the Ph.D. program in English literature are considered as future scholars or teachers. In taking the coursework, they not only delve into the knowledge of literature, but also begin to establish broader and deeper senses of research ability. The independent seminar class helps them build such senses through the way in which they experience to the development of the syllabus by themselves. Furthermore, in contrast to a regular class, in which a group of students learn in a classroom, the independent seminar gives each student intensive interactions with his/her professor through the out-of-classroom circumstances, since the seminar is based upon one-on-one study between the student and the professor.

This study is to explore the function of white hair motif in Gosijo. And to use the results in literature therapy programs. The white hair motif in the Gosijo of the study ignites the sadness. And every time we read this work repeatedly, the sadness is amplified. This amplification of sadness plays a role in healing the human body. This white hair motif of Gosijo covers the death motif and become energy to support life. In the future, if we study the literary physiological functions of Gosijo in the future, it seems that literature will give us a more healing life.

The need for integrating the arts and literature into the engineering education has been emphasized to cultivate the creative talent in recent years. However, there have been few studies to investigate how the arts and literature can be linked with nurturing creative talent in the engineering fields. In this paper, it is examined that inventive thinking principles for creative ideation in the engineering fields can be applied to the arts and literature. For the purpose, creative works in the arts and literature, which can be explained by the five thinking tools of SIT(Systematic Inventive Thinking), are collected. The result shows that engineering and the arts share common thinking patterns.

The objective of this paper is to present how to use Grounded Theory Methodology for conducting a literature review that produces new insights and conceptualizations. In this paper, we have employed Wolfswinkel et al.(2013)'s method, which is called by Grounded Theory Literature-Review Method, for a rigorous literature review. We have utilized this method to capture the concept and insights of individuals' shadow wok in digital environments. By analyzing the relevant literature based on Wolfswinkel et al.'s guide, we have extracted 73 codes in the coding steps and finally showed 12 categories by incorporating similar concepts from those codes. Based on the categories, we end this paper by developing the academic definitions of shadow work in digital environments.

This paper closely examines the textual representations of 'blackness' in Korean military camptown (gijichon) literature from 1950's to 1980's, and argues that the animalistic portrayals and almost compulsive bestialization of blacks reveal an attempted hierarchization of Koreans above blacks with an underlying belief in white supremacy in coming to terms with Korean postcolonial subjectivity. Going against the grain of nationalist readings of gijichon literature, which largely celebrate its resistance against US domination, this paper problematizes racialized postcoloniality emerging out of these stories that span over four decades. The paper demonstrates that the racist depictions of blacks as the Other and even sympathetic portrayals of black soldiers all work to legitimate white supremacy and hierarchize race in the formation of Korean postcolonial subjectivity, paradoxically reinforcing and perpetuating colonial racial ideologies.

The earlier literature widely documented the role of natural resources in economic development and confined their findings either in support of resource blessing growth or resource curse hypothesis. The ample research on the stated theme has available in the relevant databases, supported with empirical data, while a few studies used a case study or mixed-method approach. The study identified plenty of room on a given topic by conducting a systematic literature review and synthesizing the literature in more meaningful inferences. After a thorough investigation of the literature review through systematic intervention, the study concludes that natural resource management is imperative for a country's sustained growth. Simultaneously, it is desirable to reduce resource conflicts, improve institutional performance, decrease corruption, and stabilize the political environment to get maximum natural resource management potential globally.
