  • This study describes Brownian motion of human narrative in physiological perspective. The purpose of this study is to investigate how these functions appear in literary works and to apply them to the practice of literary therapy in the future. Hwang Jin-yi's sijo is the first to cut off the longing. Then, It fold that longing and keep it. Finally, It is to unfold those longing. In this folded and unfolded movement, this Sijo is vibrated. This is the Brownian motion of Sijo. In this, the Sijo completes endless love. Using the Brownian motion of these literary feelings, it seems that literary therapy can form conditions of human physiological healing.

  • The exploration of the spatial structure of a particular urban area, or the analysis of the tendencies of spatial consumption among urbanites, can be a literary-geographical attitude, shifting literary interests toward geography. It may also constitute a field of cultural geography that reads texts as cultural symbols. Based on this kind of attitude, the paper reads the literature of Park Wan So, particularly the popular novels that involve urban and residential spaces of Seoul, as a cultural text that carries a kind of symbolism. It proceeds with the idea that most popular novels reflect the mass phenomena of its times, and that representing real cultural experiences through text, it becomes a means of generalizing the identity shared by the anonymous masses and the characteristics of particular places. Hence the individuality of Park Wan So, who moved to Seoul during the Japanese colonial period and hence forth lived as a middle-class citizen, is inseparable from her literary work. With this attitude and methodology, the paper argues that in the urban space of metropolitan Seoul, the modern ambivalent gaze of the colonial period shifted toward increasingly new value systems, and was replaced by a dichotomous view, and furthermore, that the contents of this dichotomous view has experienced a multivalent transformation through the accumulation of time and the expansion of space.

  • This study attempts to derive the possibility of literary therapy through addition and subtraction of emotional codons. It is presumed that the remnants of the emotions formed by the addition and subtraction of emotions will remain in the human body and cause chemical reactions. When this research is activated, cluster of emotional codons will be created by a combination of literary emotions. This is expected to accelerate therapeutic action of sentences by encoding certain emotional codons in AI.

  • The Epic of Gilgamesh drew heavily upon Mesopotamian literary tradition. Sin-leqe-uninni, the editor of Standard Version of the Epic of Gilgamesh in 13th century B.C.E. adopted the Old Babylonian version as well as older Sumerian tales about Gilgamesh. He also was very successful by extensive use of materials and literary forms originally unrelated to Gilgamesh. The epic opens with a standard type of hymnic-epic prologue. This study lens a measure of vindication to the theoretical approach by which Morris Jastrow recognized the diversity of the sources, which underlies the epic and succeeded in identifying some of them. Thanks to the ample documentation available for the literary development of the epic, we can trace the steps which its author and editors took with the result that the epic inspires fears and aspirations for more than three thousand years.

Enroku is a technical book of tobacco in Japan. It not only often quotes from Jibongyuseol, an encyclopedia published in Chosun Dynasty, but also embodies literary works related tobacco written by Koreans. We are so interested, because even the first literary work related tobacco written by a Korean is included in it. But on the ground of foreign book, Koreans have not made a deep study on it. So, In this treatise We will picture a broad outline of Enroku, and introduce literary works related tobacco written by Koreans in it. It would be little aid for the deep study on tobacco itself and on literary works related tobacco in Korea.

  • In the past few years, a trend has emerged emphasizing the interdisciplinary relationship between cultural and literary studies, and "memory" has been suggested as the central theme in this trend. According to Aleida and Jan Assmann, "memory" as collective memory (not individual recollection) has various functions and forms, of which communicative memory and cultural memory occupy opposite poles of a central axis. Whereas communicative memory relates to the living past shared among contemporaries, cultural memory relates to "recollected history" rather than factual history. Cultural memory finds transmission through symbolic media such as myths, festivities, and literary works. Literary works preserve critical and living memories as opposed to forgotten memories. In other words, literature should be better read as "criticism and memory" than "imitation and preservation." Works of literature are characterized by a turning away from repetition toward representation-the process of "making present" of what is past.

Despite loving of our, loving is sadness. Also loving is to cry. This crying becomes love. This study is to show the mutant emotion which is to be able to code Deep Learning AI. We explored the Sijo "Streams that cried last night", because this Sijo was useful to study mutant emotion. The result was that this Sijo was coding the mutant emotion. Almost continuously, the sadness codes were spawning and concentrating. So this Sijo was making the emotion of love with the sadness.
