From the view of natural language process, quantitative linguistic analysis is a linguistic study relying on statistical methods, and is a mathematical linguistics in an attempt to discover various linguistic characters by interpreting linguistic facts quantitatively through statistical methods. In this study, I would like to introduce a quantitative linguistic analysis method utilizing a computer and statistical methods on literary works. I also try to introduce a use of SynKDP, a synthesized Korean data process, and show the relations between distribution of linguistic unit elements which are used by the hero in a novel #Sassinamjunggi# and theme analysis on literary works.

Human reliability analysis (HRA) is a proactive approach to model and evaluate human systematic errors, and has been extensively applied in various complicated systems. Dependence assessment among human errors plays a key role in the HRA, which relies heavily on the knowledge and experience of experts in real-world cases. Moreover, there are ofthen different types of uncertainty when experts use linguistic labels to evaluate the dependencies between human failure events. In this context, this paper aims to develop a new method based on linguistic hesitant fuzzy sets and the technique for human error rate prediction (THERP) technique to manage the dependence in HRA. This method handles the linguistic assessments given by experts according to the linguistic hesitant fuzzy sets, determines the weights of influential factors by an extended best-worst method, and confirms the degree of dependence between successive actions based on the THERP method. Finally, the effectiveness and practicality of the presented linguistic hesitant fuzzy THERP method are demonstrated through an empirical healthcare dependence analysis.

최근 심리학 연구에서 LIWC(Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count)라는 '심리학적 영어 글분석 프로그램'을 사용하여 사람들이 사용하는 언어적 양식을 종속측정치로 사용한 연구들은 괄목할 만한 성과를 거두었다. 본 연구는 이러한 영어분석 프로그램을 원형으로 한국어의 특성과 문화를 반영한 '한국어 글분석 프로그램(KLIWC)'을 개발하기 위하여 실시되었다. 형태소 태깅을 통하여 다수의 형태소가 교착된 어절을 분석하는 기능을 추가하였고 기본형 사전과 활용형 규칙을 구축하였다. 또한 체면, 한국적 정서와 관련된 단어를 분석 변인에 포함시켰다. 이러한 한국어 분석프로그램의 개발과정과 특성을 고찰하였고 프로그램의 추후 개선방향에 대하여 논의하였다. the two Korean causal conjunctive suffixes, -nula(ko) and -nun palamey, based on corpus linguistic analysis. Many of the linguistic accounts available, both in pedagogical reference and in the literature on linguistics, provide incomplete analyses of these suffixes, based on fabricated linguistic data. Using naturally occurring, real linguistic data, this paper examines the syntactic and semantic structures of the two causal suffixes through a consideration of three areas of corpus linguistic analysis: token frequencies, collocations, and semantic prosody. An analysis based on concordance data reveals that the two causal connectives, -nula(ko) and -nun palamey, have more differences than similarities in terms of syntactic and semantic constraints. The idiosyncratic structures of the two suffixes are discussed in terms of same subject condition, verb selection, same agent condition, synchronicity condition, and negative semantic prosody.

This paper introduces a new linguistic-focused approach for sentiment analysis (SA) of Korean. In order to overcome shortcomings of previous works that focused mainly on statistical methods, we made effective use of various linguistic features reflecting the nature of Korean. These features include contextual shifters, modal affixes, and the morphological dependency of chunk structures. Moreover, in order to eschew possible confusion caused by ambiguous words and to improve the results of SA, we also proposed simple adjustment methods of word senses using KOLON ontology mapping information. Through experiments we contend that effective use of linguistic features and ontological information can improve the results of sentiment analysis of Korean.

This paper mentions a fault tree analysis using not probability but natural language and fuzzy theory, Reliability estimate of each basic event and dependence level estimate among subsystems are expressed by linguistic terms. Analysis results are also expressed by natural language. The meaning of linguistic terms is expressed by a fuzzy set. In the presented analysis approach parametrized operations of fuzzy sets are considered so that analyst's subjectivity can be introduced into the analysis. This paper gives the Chernobyl accident as an example of the fuzzy fault tree analysis using linguistic terms.

This study explored the relationship between post types and linguistic characteristics in marketer-generated content and social media engagement to find the optimized content to enhance social media engagement level. Post data of 23,588 marketer-generated content were collected from 50 states' destination marketing organization Facebook pages in the United States. The collected data were analyzed by employing social media analytics, linguistic analysis, multivariate analysis of variance, and discriminant analysis. The results showed that there are significant differences in both engagement indicators and linguistic scores among the three post types. Based on research findings, this research not only provided researchers with theoretical implications but also suggested practitioners the most effective content designs for travel destination marketing in Facebook.

수업은 교사와 학생의 복잡한 상호 작용으로 진행된다. 본 논문은 수업의 이러한 특성을 컴퓨터를 활용하여 정량화하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 수업 분석을 위하여 일반적으로 널리 이용되고 있는 플랜더즈(Flanders) 언어 분석법을 기초로 소프트웨어를 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 언어 심볼 진행을 아이콘 요소로 추상화하여 사용자가 쉽게 입력과 편집이 가능하다. 현직 교사들을 대상으로 시행한 성능 평가에서도 사용의 편의성과 분석 결과의 실용성을 확인할 수 있었다.

This study aims to probe for ideological construction within the linguistic structure of newspaper reporting. The study focuses on news reports relating the issue of new IOC chairman election in English version of four mainstream newspaper published in Korea: The Donga Daily News, The Jungang Daily News, The Chosun Daily News, and The Korea Times. The analysis of these reports adheres to the analytic paradigm of critical linguistic analysis and shows how the newspaper articulate conflicting ideological positions in their reports of new IOC chairman election. The analysis demonstrates how the event of new IOC chairman election is naturalized in racist accounts. This study is important for understanding the constructive nature of language practices. The study concludes with a discussion to explain the need for critical awareness in choosing right teaching material, considering that news reports are widely accepted as an authentic material for English education.

최근의 문서요약 시스템은 인공신경망을 이용한 End-to-End 방식이 주류를 이루고 있다. 이러한 시스템은 인간의 자질 추출 과정이 필요 없으며 데이터 중심의 접근 방법을 채택한다. 그러나 기존의 관련 연구들은 품사 정보, 개체명 정보, 단어의 빈도 정보와 같은 언어 분석 자질이 중요 문장을 선택하여 요약을 작성하는데 유용함을 보여왔다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 언어 분석 자질을 활용하여 인공신경망을 기반으로 한 단일 문서의 추출 요약 시스템을 제안한다. 언어 분석 자질의 유용성을 보이기 위해 자질을 사용하는 모델과 사용하지 않는 모델을 비교하였다. 실험 결과 자질을 사용하는 모델이 그렇지 않은 모델에 비해 약 0.5점의 Rouge-2 F1점수 향상을 보였다.
