  • This paper proposes a robust direct adaptive control system implementation using a 80286 microprocessor-based system for controlling the speed of a DC servo motor. In this paper, assuming that the unmodeled dynamics of the plant are sufficiently small in the low-frequency range, the plant as linear time-invariant system is the second relative degree, we construct the direct adaptive control system with the algorithm considering plant unmodeled dynamics and execute the experiment, and compare the characteristics with those of PI algorithm's. It shows that an easy implementation of the built controller is due to the usage of software for the algorithm.

회전 외팔보에 대한 유연 다물체 동역학 시뮬레이션의 실험적 검증 (Experimental Verification of Flexible Multibody Dynamic Simulations for A Rotating Beam)

  • Using a flexible rotating beam test bed, experimental verification of a flexible multibody dynamic simulations for a rotating beam model has been carried out. The test bed consists of a flexible arm, harmonic driver reducer, AC servo motor and DSP board with PC. The mechanical ports of the test bed has been designed using 3D CAD program. For the simulation model, mass and moment of inertia of each part of the flexible rotating beam test bed are also obtained from 3D CAD model. In the flexible multibody dynamic simulations, the substructuring model has been established to capture nonlinear effects of the flexible rotating beam. Through the experimental verification, substructuring model provides better results than those from the linear model in the high speed rotation.

  • In this study of made Autmation system is moving linear transfer system for mainly forming of small electronic unit and other at press line. This system for loading and unloading a workpiece has been installed in a press in order to load and unload a workpiece from a press die. Main Control method be used PLC. It took data of input from each sensor and send signal of output to actuator by sequence program also, we try to Characteristics test of this system has good condition when operating with raser measurmant.

  • A very simple control approach using neural network for the robust position control of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM) is presented The linear quadratic controller plus feedforward neural network is employed to obtain the robust PMSM system approximately linearized using field-orientation method for an AC servo. The neural network is trained in on-line phases and this neural network is composed by a fedforward recall and error back-propagation training. Since the total number of nodes are only eight this system can be easily realized by the general microprocessor. During the normal operation the input-output response is sampled and the weighting value is trained multi-times by error back-propagation method at each sample period to accommodate the possible variations in the parameters or load torque. And the state space analysis is performed to obtain the state feedback gains systematically. IN addition the robustness is also obtained without affecting overall system response. This method is realized by a floating-point Digital Singal Processor DS1102 Board (TMS320C31) The basic DSP software is used to write C program which is compiled by using ANSI-C style function prototypes.

  • This paper presents an advanced method for an initial pole position estimation of a PMLSM (Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor) that has an incremental encoder for servo applications but does not have Hall sensors as a magnetic pole sensor. The proposed algorithm finds either of two zero force positions and then the correct d-axis by appropriately using the secant method as a numerical method. It only requires the tuned current controller and the relative position information and so it can be simply applicable to a rotary PMSM. The experimental results show the validity of the proposed method with respect to accurate pole position estimation under the minimal moving distance during estimation process.

  • Nickel thin film is one of the most important materials used in micromachined structure. To measure the mechanical properties of electroplated nickel thin film, two techniques are adopted and compared quantitatively with. One is nano-indentation test to measure the elastic modulus. The other is tensile test to measure not only elastic modulus but also yield strength and plastic deformation, ultimate strength. To perform the tensile test, the test apparatus was constructed with linear guided servo motor for actuation, load cell for force measurement and dual microscope for strain measurement.

  • Whereas the linear PID controller is widely used for control of industrial servo systems a high precision positioning system is not easy to control only with the PID controller due to uncertain nonlinear dynamics such as friction backlash etc. As a viable means to overcome the difficulty a learning control scheme is proposed in this paper that is simple and straightforward to implement. The proposed learning controller takes full advantage of current feedback capability of the inner-loop of the control system in that electrical motor dynamics as the well as mechanical part of X-Y positioning system is included in the learning control scheme, The experimental results are given to demonstrate its feasibility and effectiveness in terms of convergence precision of tracking and robustness in comparison with the conventional control method.

  • The present study developed an air flow generator system with standard syringes usually adapted for spirometer calibration. It consisted of servo-motor, driver, linear robot, and controller operating as a whole integrated system capable of generating air flows at different speeds on two identical 3L syringes. Experiments demonstrated high accuracy in both flow and volume generation as required such that relative errors were approximately 2.1% and 0.5%, respectively.

Development of an Electro-mechanical Driven Broaching Machine

  • The machine tools builders are trying to improve the efficiency and performance of the machine tools. The electro-mechanical driven broaching machine has many advantages such as lower noisy operating, higher energy efficiency, and smaller space of installation. This paper presents the structural and mechanical development of an electro-mechanical driven broaching machine that is replaced for traditional hydraulic one. The servo motor, ball screw and roller linear guide are used instead of hydraulic cylinder and translation frictional sliding guides. The simulation method based on FEM was applied to analyze the stress, deformation of the machine for static analysis. The dynamic analysis was carried out for verifying and assessing the mechanical behavior of the developed broaching machine. This work helps broaching machine developer make a better product at the early design stage with lower cost and development time.

  • 본 논문에서는 퍼지-역전파 알고리즘을 이용하여 연결강도를 조정하고 ADALINE(Adaptive Linear Neuron)을 제어기로 사용하는 새로운 제어방식을 제안하였다. 제안된 ADALINE 제 어기는 퍼지 알고리즘을 이용하여 학습하고, 구조가 간단하고 계산량이 작은 장점으로 적응제어나 실시간 제어에 적합한 제어방식이다. 제안된 제어방식의 유용성을 입증하기 위하여 서보 전동기를 대상으로 위치제어에 대하여 시뮬레이션 하였다.
