오프라인 프로그래밍에서의 실시간 통신 (Real-time communication in an off-line programming)

  • An off-line programming, OLP, system is widely used in automation fines. To help an on-line robot system to carry out desirable tasks planned by the off-line simulation, an approach to the real-time communication is presented. The OLP system developed consists of a software, a host computer(PC), a SCARA robot body, four servo drivers, and four independent joint controllers. This study focuses on the software where real-time communication is included. The software, can be used in teaching, trajectory planning, real-time running, and performance evaluation. The evaluation of different control algorithms is one of the merits of the software. The software can give servo commands for task running. A comparison of generated and corresponding actual trajectories provides the evaluation of task performance. The safety, of the OLP system is ensured by alarming malfuntions of the system. The OLP system developed can reduce the teaching time and increase the user's convenience.

지역간 철도의 노선계획 최적화 모형 (Line Planning Optimization Model for Intercity Railway)

  • 본 연구는 지역간 여객 철도의 노선계획을 최적화하는 방법에 관한 연구이다. 본 연구의 노선계획 모형은 다양한 차종이 운용되는 철도노선에서 이용자비용(이용자의 총 통행시간)과 운영자비용(열차 운행비용, 유지 보수비용, 차량 구입비용)의 합을 최소화하고자 하는 혼합정수계획 수리모형으로 구축되었고, 모형의 해법으로 분기한정법이 사용되었다. 수요의 변화, 열차 속도의 변화, 정차스케줄 수의 변화 등에 대한 민감도 분석 결과도 제시하였고, 국내 경부선의 사례연구를 통하여 각 열차차종의 차종별 수요 분할 뿐만 아니라 최적 정차스케줄과 운행빈도를 동시에 산출할 수 있음을 보여주었다. 본 연구의 모형과 결과는 열차 운영 전략을 수립하거나 새로운 철도 시스템의 효율성을 분석하거나 이용자 운영자의 사회적 비용을 산정하는 경우 등에 적용될 수 있다.

Survey of Evolutionary Algorithms in Advanced Planning and Scheduling

  • Advanced planning and scheduling (APS) refers to a manufacturing management process by which raw materials and production capacity are optimally allocated to meet demand. APS is especially well-suited to environments where simpler planning methods cannot adequately address complex trade-offs between competing priorities. However, most scheduling problems of APS in the real world face both inevitable constraints such as due date, capability, transportation cost, set up cost and available resources. In this survey paper, we address three crucial issues in APS, including basic scheduling model, job-shop scheduling (JSP), assembly line balancing (ALB) model, and integrated scheduling models for manufacturing and logistics. Several evolutionary algorithms which adapt to the problems are surveyed and proposed; some test instances based on the practical problems demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of evolutionary approaches.

  • Most of computer-aided process planning(CAPP) systems have been developed to automate the process planning function. In this paper, we describe an analytical model for a CAPP system in order to improve the performance of production system in flexible manufacturing systems(FMSs) for computer intergrated manufacturing(CIM) architecture. This paper proposes an optimal process planning that minimizes the load time by minimizing the cycle time and the number of workstations using Kang and Hahm's heuristic approach so as to improve the performance of production system under the batch production of discrete products. We also perform simulation using SIMAN language to campare the line utilization of each for various product types. The proposed algorithm can be implemented in existing FMSs for on-line control of product quantity using programmable logic controllers(PLC) and communication devices.

  • This paper presents alternatives for facilities planning and analyses them using simulation approach. For this purpose, hydro-cylinder production line was sampled as a case study. Several facilities planning alternatives are evaluated based on the several factors such as line balancing, equipment utilization, optimum number of equipments, inventory size, flow time, bottleneck machine, and productive capacity. An optimal facilities planning is proposed based on the degree of meeting with the all factors evaluated. The simulation language employed in this study is SIMAN and the data used for simulation are provided by hydro-cylinder shop.

백제 후기 익산도성 조영계획모델에 대한 도성계획사적 해석 (Restoration of Iksan Imperial Capital City Structure and Construction Model in Late Baekje from the Point of Ancient Capital City Planning)

  • This study aims to draw out planning principles and structure of Iksan imperial capital city in late Baekje, especially in view of the relationship among imperial capital city planning area, skeletal axis and the location of royal castle. With site survey and analysis of historical records, old maps, topographical maps, archeological excavation data, land registration map of 1915, some significant inferences were drawn out. Firstly from the point of topological conditions, the contiguous line of a stratum from Mireuk mountain(彌勒山) to Wangkung-ri castle(王宮里遺蹟) and two waterways made a topological axis of Iksan Imperial capital city. Secondly district of Iksan imperial capital city can be deduced to the inner area north to Kummado soil wall(金馬都土城), south to the confluence of Iksan river(益山川) and Busang river(扶桑川), west to Okum mountain fortress(五金山城) and Galjeon river(葛田川), east to line near to eastern wall of Jesuksa temple(帝釋寺). Iksan ssang-reung(益山雙陵) was located outside western boundary line of capital city. Thirdly axis from Wangkung-ri castle to northern Kummado soil wall made a skeletal axis of city structure. It got through northern lowland along Buk river(北川) between Yonghwa(龍華山) and Mireuk mountain. Fourthly the location of royal palace can be deduced to the north part of the city around Kumma town area along the planning principle of northern royal palace.

The Task of the Fashion Designer in Different Types of Domestic Women's Apparel Brands - Focusing on the Fashion Merchandising Process -

  • The purpose of this research is to identify the phases of the fashion merchandising process and the range of the fashion designer's work as well as performing degree at each stage according to the brand types of domestic women's apparel. The preliminary research was conducted with the chief designers of five woman's apparel manufactures located in Seoul and the questionnaires were collected from 192 fashion designers. They were measured by the five point Likert-type scales. For a data analysis, the Pearson's Correlation, ANOVA, Sheffe Test, MANOVA were used with SPSS V. 11.0. The results are as follows; 1. The steps which fashion designers of domestic apparel brand take in fashion merchandising process have been identified in 7 stages- Environment Information, Target Market Planning, Design Planning, Design Development, Price Settlement, Presentation & Line Release, Production. 2. The task achievement level of fashion designers in fashion merchandising process differs in brand types as well as in fashion merchandising stages. In NB, the designer's work was conducted in order of Design Planning(M=4.58)$\to$Presentation & Line release(M=4.31)$\to$ Environment Information(M=3.83)$\to$Target Market Planning(M=3.13). In DB, in order of Price Settlement (M=4.80)$\to$Production(M=4.33)$\to$Design Development(M=4.27)$\to$Design Planning(M=3.77)$\to$Presentation & Line release(M=3.20)$\to$Environment Information (M2.70). In GB, in order of Production(M=4.38)$\to$Design Planning(M=4.22)$\to$Price Settlement(M4.16)$\to$Environment Information(M=3.83)$\to$Merchandising Target Market (M=3.72)$\to$Design Development(M=3.65). 3. Considering the other factors such as sales, the amount of owning shops, item amounts that are related to the company size, this study shows that only the brand type affects designer's task achievement.

  • Achievement of a straight line motion in the Cartesian space has a matter of great importance. Minimization of task execution time with linear interpolation in the joint space, accomplishing of a approximation of straight line motion in the Cartesian coordinate is considered as the prespecified task. Such determination yields minimum time joint-trajectory subject to input torque constraints. The applications of these results for joint-trajectory planning of a two-link manipulator with revolute joints are demonstrated by computer simulations.

  • Optimal generation dispatch algorithm is developed using L.P and load dispatch method. The algorithm is composed with three steps. Fist phase, analytical algorithm is adopted to solve to minimize quadratic cost functions which fits well for planning purpose. Second phase uses L.P method for obtain economic redispatch that satisfies line constraints. When there is no solution whitch satisfy line constraints load shedding algorithm solves the problem.
