  • Recently, Increase of energy consumption is continued accordingly because economy is constant growth. so we need long term of energy supply stability and develop new energy source. The effort of environmental improvement is necessary and our country has to educe conservatory gas in these situation, our energy policy is summarized that minimizes energy consumption and uses kinds of energy source. This paper studied some effort of stability that distributed generation put in electric system through line fault, sudden load change. And then this paper calculated penetrated level of distributed generation in system transient stability.

소형궤도 차량 제어를 위한 모의실험 장치 설계 (A Design of a Simulation Apparatus for the Control of the Personal Rapid Transit(PRT) Vehicles)

  • This paper presents a design of a simulation apparatus to evaluate an operational control algorithm for the PRT system. PRT systems require very short headways to increase the line capacity and a very reliable vehicle control algorithm for avoidance of the impact between vehicles. Therefore, it can be said that the development of an reliable operational control algorithm for the PRT systems is much more important than that of the hardware configurations. In this paper an apparatus is proposed which is composed of virtual vehicles, a central control system, a man-machine interface and monitoring device, making it possible for the designed operational control algorithm to be implemented and tested. For the test of the proposed apparatus a test operational control algorithm is designed and the experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed simulation apparatus for test and evaluation of the PRT operational control algorithms.

옥내 WiBro 서비스 품질 향상을 위한 WiBro AP 개발 (Development of WiBro Access Point for Offering WiBro Service with Enhanced Quality in Indoor Environment)

  • In order to expand cell coverage, increase system capacity, and offer various multimedia service with high throughput in indoor environment, WiBro Access Point(AP) is developed. Home AP is IFA/Omni type and has stack-up structure of channel card and RF board. SOHO AP is designed to support up to 2FA and has remote RF(RRF) structure using UTP method. Inter-operational test with mobile terminal were completed for 3 terminals using web browsing service simultaneously. The performance test results of WiBro AP are as follows: RCE(EVM) value is -34.431 dB for 64-QAM and throughput is up to 6.79 Mbps(DL) and 1.1 Mbps(UL) with 2.5m Line-of-Sight(LOS) condition.

  • Based on the several advantages of high-temperature superconducting cable, there are many researches about HTS cable. In the aspect of power system engineering, since it has very low impedance, approximately zero, it is profitable for large capacity distribution line into the large scale load. In the step of its verifications, the HTS cable had been installed in Icheon substation and operated. In this paper, the protection coordination for Icheon substation had been designed and verified using PSCAD/EMTDC.

  • 이중 편파 안테나 시스템은 근거리 가시광 통신 채널 환경에서 통신하기 위한 기술로 연구되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 편파 회전각이 미정렬된 상황에서 편파 안테나 간 발생하는 간섭을 고려한 랜덤 변수의 확률 밀도 함수를 구하고, 오수신(outage) 확률을 분석하였다. 또한 편파 회전각이 미정렬된 이중 편파 안테나 시스템의 상한 전송 용량이 4.5324 bps/hz 임을 밝혔다.

  • Recently, as the road capacity reaches the limit and environmental problems becomes serious, there is gradually increased a need for railroad vehicles that are environment-friendly and have time regularity, reliability and safety. Accordingly, in addition to conventional railroad vehicles, lots of vehicles are being newly developed. We developed the hardware and software of the measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of korean hish speed train. The software controls the hardware of the measurement data and acts as interface between users and the system hardware. In this paper, we is studied for electric apparatus performance of railway vehicle using sensor. In order to this test is developed signal conversion system. Using this system, we obtained important result for pantograph voltage, battery voltage, axle speed, and running speed.

  • In this paper, we study about the stator winding magnetization method and the magnetizing fixture magnetization method in post-assembly magnetization. Most of small electrical machine use the stator winding magnetization method but it is impossible to magnetize the permanent magnet by the stator winding magnetization method when the capacity of machine increases and the coercive force of magnet increases. And the eddy current disturbs the magnetization seriously in case of LSPM(Line Start Permanent magnet Motor) that have conductor bar in rotor. Hence, the magnetization fixture is required. So, in this paper we study about the post-assembly magnetization method that can use the stator winding magnetization method or must use the magnetization fixture magnetization method.

  • Driving the need for machine vision system is growing consumer demand for quality and defect-free products. Especially it is the most important in tarpaulin's manufacturing process achieves automatically by machine vision instead of by man vision. In this paper pinholes detection is performed by using morphology algorithms. Top hat transform is one of morphology applications. This transform take high performance of defect detection in the case that unexpected changes occur in some non-uniform background. For pinholes defect, automatic visual inspection system has been developed, which was composed by a line-scan camera, illumination, a frame grabber, a motor driver and control units. This system has excellent capacity to defect pinholes to the 0.1 mm by 0.5 mm in size and to work in moving objects by maximum 20 m/min in speed.

  • According to previous report, aged sleeves for old transmission lines have various defect such as biased installation or corrosion of steel sleeve. These defects occupied almost 50 percent of investigated aged sleeves. These defects can cause serious accidents such as rapid increasing of sag or falling out of overhead conductor from sleeves. Moreover, the defects have been limited power capacity of transmission line. This paper study on thermal behavior of ACSR 480Rail conductor and sleeve with various defect model. The detailed results were presented in the text.

A Linearized Transmission Model Based Market Equilibrium In Locational Pricing Environments

  • In this paper, we have investigated how transmission network constraints can be modeled in an electricity market equilibrium model. Under Cournot competition assumption, a game model is set up considering transmission line capacity constraints. Based on locational marginal pricing principle, market clearing is formulated as a total consumers# benefit maximization problem, and then converted to a conventional optimal power flow (OPF) formulation with a linearized transmission model. Using market clearing formulation, best response analysis is formulated and, finally, Nash equilibrium is formulated. In order for illustration, a numerical study for a four node system with two generating firms and two loads are presented.
