  • Assuming perfect channel state information (CSI), the conventional interference alignment (IA) algorithm in the uplink cellular system suppresses inter-cell interference (ICI) by aligning ICI to a randomly selected reference vector. However, IA in practice relies on limited feedback between base stations and users, resulting in residual ICI. In this paper, we propose the optimization of the reference vector that minimizes the upper-bound of residual ICI power. Secondly, the iterative IA that designs the direction of transmit and receive filter is proposed to minimize the residual ICI as well as maximize the desired signals. Moreover, we propose the user scheduling method combined with proposed IA schemes which provides the multiuser diversity gain in multi-cell environments. Finally, the performance gain of the proposed IA algorithms compared with the existing IA are analyzed and demonstrated by simulation results.

  • High peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR) is one of serious problems in the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) systems. This paper proposes a PAPR reduction technique for limited feedback multiple input multiple output(MIMO) OFDM systems. The proposed method is based on the null space of the MIMO channel where a dummy signal is made in the channel's null space and then, subtracted from the original signal to reduce the PAPR. First, we show that a problem occurs when the existing method is directly applied to limited feedback MIMO case. Then, a weight function for the dummy signal is proposed to mitigate the degradation of the receiver performance while still reducing PAPR significantly. The weight function is derived from a constrained nonlinear optimization problem to minimize the mean square error between the received signal and its ideal signal. Simulation results shows that the proposed technique provides about 2.5dB PAPR reduction with 0.2dB bit-error probability loss.

  • The combination of voltage feedforward and feedback control is a conventional approach for correcting the power factor in single-phase ac-dc boost converters. The feedback duty ratio increases significantly with an increase of the line frequency and input inductance. Therefore, the performance of the conventional approach is highly dependent on the bandwidth of the feedback controller. As a result, the input power quality can be significantly exacerbated due to uncompensated duty ratios if the feedback controller is limited. This paper proposes an input impedance and current feedforward control method to reduce the control portion of the feedback controller. The findings in this paper are 1) the theoretical derivation and analysis of variations of line frequency and input inductance on a power factor correction approach, 2) guaranteed consistent performance in a wide range of conditions, and 3) that a low switching frequency can be utilized by the proposed method. A MATLAB/Simulink model and a 1.2kW dual boost converter are built to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • During the past three decades, several techniques have been suggested for robust performance design of multivariable systems within the framework of Quantitative Feedback Theory. They are all characterized and limited by the use of loop transmission inversion. A new approach within framework is described which leads to a design tehnique without loop transmission inversion. Complete sequential design algorithms are derived for performance specifications in terms of plant input disturbance, sensitivity, complimentary sensitivity and control effort.

  • This paper presents a systematic analysis and a simple design of a robust adaptive control law for a class of non linear systems with modeling errors and a time-delay input. The theory for designing a robust adaptive control law based on input- output feedback linearization of non linear systems with uncertainties and a time-delay in the manipulated input by the approach of parameterized state feedback control is presented. The main advantage of this method is that the parameterized state feedback control law can effectively suppress the effect of the most parts of nonlinearities, including system uncertainties and time-delay input in the pp-coupling perturbation form and the relative order of non linear systems is not limited.

  • Multimedia content is very sensitive to packet loss and therefore multimedia streams are typically protected against packet loss, either by supporting retransmission requests or by adding redundant forward error correction (FEC) data. However, the redundant FEC information introduces significant additional bandwidth requirements, as compared to the bitrate of the original video stream. Especially on wireless and mobile networks, bandwidth availability is limited and variable. In this article, an adaptive FEC (A-FEC) system is presented whereby the redundancy rate is dynamically adjusted to the packet loss, based on feedback messages from the client. We present a statistical model of our A-FEC system and validate the proposed system under different packet loss conditions and loss probabilities. The experimental results show that 57-95%bandwidth gain can be achieved compared with a static FEC approach.

  • LQ-servo design procedure introduced by Athans is a method using a partial states feedback and an output feedback in order to improve the poor performance robustness of the LQR as well as to maintain its stability robustness. Although the method guarantees good stability robustness, it is not effective in performance robustness as it does not match the singular value at low or high frequencies of the transfer matrix obtained by breaking at the plant output. This paper intends propose of a new method, using the limited behaviour of the control gain introduced by Kwakernaak and Sivan, in order to improve it does it refer to controlga introduced by kwakernaak or the new metho Anblguouls.

  • This paper presents a method of actively controlling the interior noise by a trim panel with hybrid feedforward-feedback control loop. The control technique is designed to minimize the vibration of panel whose motion is limited to that of a piston (out-of-plane motion). The hybrid controller consists of an adaptive feedforward controller in conjunction with a linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG) feedback controller. In order to maintain control performance of both persistent and transient disturbances, the feedback loop speeds up the adaptation rate of feedforward controller by improving damping capacity of secondary plant related with the adaptation rule. Numerical simulation and experimental result indicate that the hybrid controller is a more effective method for reducing the vibration of the panel (and therefore the interior noise) compared to using feedforward controller.

The feedback loop circuit converts 45MHz received signal to 4SiKHz If signal containing mess-age without random noise. Also the feedback loop provides the End local frequency, so narrowband BPF which is containing maximum Doppler frequency without message Is needed. Finally, quadrature FM detector extract audio signal by synthesis o350" shifted signal and ampli-tude limited signal. • Recently, many active queue management (AQM) algorithms have been proposed to address the performance degradation. of end-to-end congestion control under tail-drop (TD) queue management at Internet routers. However, these AQM algorithms show performance improvement only for limited network environments, and are insensitive to dynamically changing network situations. In this paper, we propose an adaptive queue management algorithm, called PID-controller, that uses proportional-integral-derivative (PID) feedback control to remedy these weak-Dalles of existing AQM proposals. The PID-controller is able to detect and control congestion adaptively and proactively to dynamically changing network environments using incipient as well as current congestion indications. A simulation study over a wide range of IP traffic conditions shows that PID-controller outperforms other AQM algorithms such as Random Early Detection (RED) [3] and Proportional-Integral (PI) controller [9] in terms of queue length dynamics, packet loss rates, and link utilization.
