비직교 다중변조 방식을 이용한 고속 가시광통신 시스템에 대한 연구 (A Study on High Speed Visible Light Communication System Using Non-orthogonal Multiple Modulation Scheme)

  • 본 논문에서는 가시광 통신시스템에서 고속 전송을 위한 변조 기법에 대해서 분석하고, 최적의 비직교 다중 전송을 위한 Dimming level 및 송신 전력 비율에 대해서 연구하였다. 기존의 가시광 통신은 전송 속도를 높이기 위한 멀티전송이 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 송신단에서 고속 전송을 위해서는 반드시 다중 전송기법이 필요한데, 일반적인 가시광 통신은 다중 전송에 한계가 있기 때문에 고속 전송을 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 최근에는 이미지 센서인 Optical Camera Communication(OCC)을 가시광 통신에 적용한 VLC-OCC가 연구되어 기존 가시광 통신이 가지는 다중 전송의 한계를 극복하였다. 그러나 VLC-OCC 방식은 외부 조도의 영향을 더 많이 받고, 수신단에서 검출이 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 또한, 다중 전송을 위한 LED 매트릭스의 위치 인식과 딥러닝을 위한 데이터 셋 신호처리를 위한 Processing-time이 필요하기 때문에 시스템의 복잡도가 증가하게 된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 비직교 다중 전송 방식을 적용한 고속 가시광 통신을 위한 다중 변조 방식과 그에 따른 향후 연구 방향을 제안하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 실제 도로환경의 신호등 및 속도표지판 영역 검출 및 인식 방법을 제안하였다. 밝기정보 및 HIS 컬러모델에기반한 색상정보를 이용하여 신호등을 인식하였다. 또한 HSI 컬러정보로부터 적색강도를 추정함으로써 속도 표지판을 검출하였다. 표지판의 경사여부를 판단하여 시계방향, 반시계방향으로 각각 표지판을 회전시켜 기울기를 보정한 후 인식을 행함으로써 인식률을 제고하였다. 도로환경의 동영상을 대상으로 인식을 행한 결과 신호등과 속도표지판이 혼합된 영상에서도 매우 강건한 인식 결과를 보인다.

인공광하에서 공정묘 개체군상의 공기역학적 저항 및 확산계수 (Aerodynamic Resistance and Eddy Diffusivity above the Plug Stand under Artificial Light)

  • Experiment was performed in a newly developed wind tunnel with light system to determine the aerodynamic resistance and eddy diffusivity above the plug stand under artificial light. Maximum air temperature appeared near the top of the plug stand under artificial light. Since Richardson number was ranged from -0.07 to +0.01, the atmosphere above the plug stand in wind tunnel was in an unstable or near- neutral stability state. The average aerodynamic resistance at rear region of plug stand was 25 % higher than that at middle region. Eddy diffusivity($K_{M}$) linearly increased with the increasing air current speed. $K_{M}$ at air current speed of 0.9 m.$s^{-1}$ was about two times as many as that at air current speed of 0.3 m.$s^{-1}$. And average $K_{M}$ at the rear region was 15% lower than that at the middle region. These results indicated that the diffusion of heat and mass along the direction of air current inside the plug stand was different. It might cause the lack of uniformity in the growth and quality of plug seedlings. The wind tunnel developed in this study would be useful to investigate the effects of air current speed on microclimates and the growth of plug seedlings under artificial light in a semi- closed ecosystem.

창공-91 실속속도 비행시험 (Flight Test of Stalling Speed for ChangGong-91)

  • The stalling speed flight test of light airplane, ChangGong-91, was performed to acquire the certification. With power-off engine condition, the wings level stall flight tests were conducted at the aircraft configuration of various flap angle - clean, 20degree, and full flap, respectively. They were performed considering with the combination of the maximum and minimum test weight, and forward and afterward center of gravity. The stalling speeds and the minimum speeds of light airplane were determined from the results of flight test. Also, the appropriateness of stall warning speeds are evaluated through the flight test measures. The airplane is recoverable only with pitch control and engine throttle from stall state without exceptional operation.

  • In this paper, we propose a visible light road-to-vehicle communication system at intersection as one of ITS technique. In this system, the communication between vehicle and a LED traffic light is approached using LED traffic light as the transmitter, and on-vehicle high-speed camera as the receiver. The LEDs in the transmitter are emitted with 500Hz and those emitting LEDs are captured by a high-speed camera for making communication. The images from the high-speed camera are processed to get luminance value of each LED in the transmitter. For this purpose, first transmitter should be found, then it should be tracked for each frame, and the luminance value of each LED in the transmitter should be captured. In our previous work, transmitter was found by getting the subtraction of two consecutive frames. In this paper, we mainly introduce an algorithm to detect the found transmitter in consecutive frames. Experimental results using appropriate images showed the effectiveness of the proposal

인공광하의 공정육묘용 풍동 설계 및 공정묘 개체군상의 공기역학적 특성 (Design of a Wind Tunnel for Plug Seedlings Production under Artificial Light and Aerodynamic Characteristics above Plug Stand)

  • A wind tunnel consisting of two air flow conditioners with polycarbonate pipes, a plant growth room, a suction fan and fan controller, and fluorescent lamps, was designed to investigate the interactions between the growth of plug seedlings under artificial light and their Physical environments. Light transmissivities in the plant growth room based on the photosynthetic photon flux density and photosynthetically active radiation was appeared to be 96.3% and 96.8%, respectively. Measurement showed a uniformity in the vertical profiles of air current speed at the middle and rear regions of plug trays in wind tunnel. This result indicated that the development of a wind tunnel based on the design criteria of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers was adequate. Air current speed inside the plug stand was significantly decreased due to the resistance by the leaves of plug seedlings and boundary layer developed over and below the plug stand. Driving force to facilitate the diffusion of gas inside the plug stand might be regarded as extremely low. Aerodynamic characteristics above the plug stand under artificial light were investigated. As the air current speed increased, zero plane displacement decreased but roughness length and frictional velocity increased. Zero plane displacement linearly increased with the average height of plug seedlings. The wind tunnel developed in this study would be useful to investigate the effects of air current speed on the microclimate over and inside the plug stand and to collect basic data for a large-scale plug production under artificial light in a semi-closed ecosystem.

도광판의 고속 진동절삭 특성에 관한 연구 (Experimental Cutting Performance Evaluation of LGP using Vibration Assisted High Speed Shaping)

  • 폴리메틸메타클릴레이트(PMMA)는 광 관련 부품제조에 있어 중요한 재료로 많이 사용되고 있다. 특히 TV, 모니터, 휴대폰 등에 쓰이고 있는 디스플레이의 도광판(Light Guide Panel)에 적용되고 있어 현재까지는 매우 큰 상업적인 수요가 있다. PMMA 도광판의 가공은 일반적으로 고속밀링에 의해 이루어지는데 부품에 대한 높은 정밀도 요구특성에도 불구하고 가공표면의 굴곡, 균열 등에 대한 불량이 적지 않게 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 PMMA 진동을 부가하는 고속선삭의 적용이 시도되었으며 절삭공구에 진동을 부가하기 위한 장치와 최적 조건이 조사되었다. 도광판용 PMMA의 진동절삭은 일반적인 밀링가공법에 비해 절삭력의 현저한 감소, 열변형영역의 축소 등을 유도하였다. 가공면에 있어서는 가공방법이 엔드 밀링에서 단인공구를 사용하는 선삭으로 변경되었음에도 불구하고 진동절삭법에 의해 가공표면의 균일성이 크게 향상되어 가공면의 표준편차 $1.0{\sim}6.0{\mu}m$, 평균거칠기 $0.3{\mu}m$가 달성되었다.

  • LED(Light Emitting Diode)는 기존 광원보다 고효율, 저전력, 장수명으로 인해 일반 조명들을 모두 대체될 것으로 전망되며, 또한 기본적으로 반도체 소자이기 때문에 전기에서 빛으로 바꾸는 속도가 매우 빠르며, 이와 같은 특성을 이용하여 고속 ON-OFF 스위칭을 통한 통신 변조를 수행 할 수 있다. 최근에는 이러한 특징을 이용한 가시광 통신(VLC: Visible Light Communication)기술이 주목받고 있으며, 많은 연구가 진행 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 LED와 가시광 통신을 융합하여 송신부에는 LED 발광소자와 수신부에는 적외선센서를 사용하여, 미디어 신호 전송을 구현하였다. 미디어 전송 속도를 개선하기위해 가시광 통신에 적용되는 기존 가시광 통신용 LED 드라이버의 전력 변환 효율 및 발열 문제를 개선하고자 통신 시스템의 효율 증대를 위해 새로운 방식의 LED 드라이버를 연구하고자 한다.

Removal of Bisphenol-A using Rotating Photocatalytic Oxidation Drum Reactor (RPODR)

  • This study evaluated the photocatalytic oxidation of BPA using the RPOD reactor under various conditions. This study found that the RPOD was effective for BPA degradation. It could reduce 1 mg/L of BPA by half within 5 min under the optimum conditions. According to the study results, $TiO_2$ coating was important for the BPA oxidation. As the coating thickness increased, the removal efficiency improved. The light source, the light intensity and the drum rotating speed were important for the oxidation. The UV light was more effective for the BPA degradation than the visible light. The removal efficiency improved with increasing intensity. As the drum speed increased, the removal efficiency improved. The maximum speed was 240 rpm in this study. Addition of air and nitrogen was not beneficial for the BPA degradation in this study probably due to enough oxygen in the water.

백색광 주사 간섭계의 측정 속도 개선을 위한 서브 샘플링 기법 연구 (Sub-sampling Technique to Improve the Measurement Speed of White Light Scanning Interferometry)

  • In this investigation, we explain the sub-sampling technique of white light scanning interferometry (WLSI) to improve the measurement speed. In addition to the previous work using Fourier domain analysis, several methods to extract the height from the correlogram of WLSI are described with the sub-sampling technique. Especially, Fourier-inverse Fourier transformation method adopting sub-sampling technique is proposed and the phase compensation technique is verified with simulation and experiments. The main advantage of sub-sampling is to speed up the measurements of WLSI but the precision such as repeatability is slightly poor. In case of measuring the sample which has high height step or difference, the proposed technique can be widely used to reduce the measurement time.
