In this paper, we wish to construct a optimal traffic cycle using wire remote control. if police vehicle or ambulance suddenly enter the traffic intersection, it will increase the traffic accident. In this paper, wireless traffic light use the radio traffic control signal and research about the hardware manufacture to check special detectors on urgency vehicles may safety and rapidly enter traffic intersection. Also, this paper present a traffic signal control conditions that analyzes different traffic intersection flows in cases of saturated flows, where the real traffic volume demand is large and the capacity constraints of bottlenecks have significant effects on the flow patterns. Through computer simulation this wireless traffic light has been proven to be much more safety and efficient than fixed traffic signal light which does not considering emergency vehicles for safety escort.
The aim of this paper is to contribute to the efficient design of traffic light poles involved in vehicle frontal collisions by developing a computer-based, finite-element model capable of capturing the impact characteristics. This is achieved by using the available non-linear dynamic analysis software "LS-DYNA3D", which can accurately predict the dynamic response of both the vehicle and the traffic light pole. The fiber reinforced polymer(FRP) as a new pole's material is proposed in this paper to increase energy absorption capabilities in the case of a traffic pole involved in a vehicle head-on collision. Numerical analyses are conducted to evaluate the effects of key parameters on the response of the pole embedded in soil when impacted by vehicles, including: soil type(clay and sand) and pole material type(FRP and steel). It is demonstrated from the numerical analysis that the FRP pole-soil system has favorable advantages over steel poles, where the FRP pole absorbed vehicle impact energy in a smoother behavior, which leads to smoother acceleration pulse and less deformation of the vehicle than those encountered with steel poles. Also, it was observed that clayey soil brings a slightly more resistance than sandy soil which helps reducing pole movement at ground level. Finally, FRP pole system provides more energy absorbing leading to protection during minor impacts and under service loading, and remain flexible enough to avoid influencing vehicle occupants, thus reducing fatalities and injuries resulting from the crash.

This paper proposes a method for estimating the distance betweeen vehicles in a moving situation using the image ratio of the distance between the tail lamps of a front vehicle. The actual distance between the tail lamps of a front vehicle was transmitted by LED tail lamps using visible light communication. As the distance between the front vehicle and the rear vehicle changes, it calculates the ratio of the pixel width between the tail lamps of the front vehicle projected on the image. The calculated values are used to derive a distance-mapping function through non-linear regression technique. Then, the distance between vehicles in the moving situation is estimated based on this function.

Light Emitting Diodes(LEDs) are widely utilized not only in lighting but also in various applications such as mobile phones, automobiles, displays, etc. The integration of LED lighting with communication, specifically Visible Light Communication(VLC), has gained significant attention. This paper presents the direct implementation and experimentation of a Vehicle-to-Vehicle(V2V) Visible Light Communication system using commonly used red and yellow LEDs in typical vehicles. Data collected from the leading vehicle, including positional and speed information, were modulated using Non-Return-to-Zero On-Off Keying(NRZ-OOK) and transmitted through the rear lights equipped with red and yellow LEDs. A photodetector(PD) received the visible light signals, demodulated the data, and restored it. To mitigate the interference from fluorescent lights and natural light, a PD for interference removal was installed, and an interference removal device using a polarizing filter and a differential amplifier was employed. The performance of the proposed visible light communication system was analyzed in an ideal case, indoors and outdoors environments. In an outdoor setting, maintaining a distance of approximately 30[cm], and a transmission rate of 4800[bps] for inter-vehicle data transmission, the red LED exhibited a performance improvement of approximately 13.63[dB], while the yellow LED showed an improvement of about 11.9[dB].

In the case of a partition panel for a vehicle, it is used as a vehicle chassis component that serves to distinguish the indoor and outdoor spaces of a vehicle and is mounted on a backrest portion of the vehicle's back seat to ensure the convenience of passengers by connecting the floor and the side of the vehicle. Because it is a relatively large-sized plate material among automobile chassis parts except the moving parts and non-ferrous materials can be applied, it is considered as a part having a large light-weight effect. However, the partition panel is one of the vehicle parts that must satisfy the light-weight effect as well as various structural reliability, such as torsional rigidity, vibration, and impact characteristics, for securing the running stability of the vehicle when driving at the same time. So, In this study, the possibility of replacing the aluminum partition panel as CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) partition panel is evaluated through comparing the two partition panels by using the structural reliability(stiffness/strength analysis), vibration analysis, impact analysis.

Strengthening vehicle emission regulation is one of important policies to improve air quality in urban area. Due to the limitation of specified driving cycles for certification test to reflect real driving conditions, additional off-cycle emission regulations have been adopted in US and being developed in Europe. The driving cycles of US or Europe have been used in emission certification for Korean light-duty vehicles, but it has not been known how well the driving cycles reflect various real driving patterns in Korea. In that point of view, it is required to estimate vehicle emission based on real road driving conditions to raise the effectiveness of vehicle emission regulation in Korea. In this study, real driving emission measurements have been conducted for three Korean light-duty vehicles with PEMS. The driving routes consisted of urban, rural and motorway in Seoul and Incheon. The data have been analyzed with various averaging methods including moving averaging windows method and compared to emission limits set with emission certification modes applied to tested vehicles. The results have shown that the real driving pollutant emissions of a gasoline and a LPG vehicles have been ranged quite lower than those of emission limits on CVS-75 driving cycle. But real driving NOx of a light duty diesel vehicle has been considerably higher than emission limit of NEDC driving cycle. The higher than expected NOx emission of a diesel vehicle might be caused by different strategy to control EGR in real driving condition from NEDC driving.

LTV(Light Tactical vehicle) operating in our military requires higher levels of performance and durability to withstand harsher conditions than ordinary vehicles, as they must travel on both rough-train and off-road as well as on public roads. Recently, developed light tactical vehicle is developed by a variety of test evaluations in order to satisfy ROC(Required Operational Capability) by the requirement military group. However, there is no standardized driving test condition for satisfying the durability performance of Korean tactical vehicle. Therefore, this study aims to provide basic data to establish reliable driving test conditions by analyzing the maneuver conditions and the driving data in order to select the representative drive course required. To do this, we analyzed the future operational environment, the area of operation analysis and the driving information of light tactical vehicle.

The number of big traffic accident cases of pedestrian death appeared to be minor, however compared to death rate in car to car accidents is very high and quite a few of the pedestrian death rates among all traffic accidents are counted to be almost 40%. Previous pedestrian safety studies were mostly aimed at reducing the degree of pedestrian injuries from a vehicle to pedestrian collision, and less at preventing a collision itself. This research was conducted with a method of using road facilities to prevent vehicles from rushing into the sidewalk. This research used one of the collision analyzing programs, called PC-Crash to simulate the vehicle rushing into the sidewalk. Based on the program, it could derive an optimal safe zone location where the pedestrian can wait for the pedestrian light safely. Also, changing road facilities such as pedestrian light pillars or signal controllers can widen 440% compared to the present safe zone. Accordingly, researchers have to consider a method to analyze and apply pedestrian safe zones along with road facilities location when designing a road.

In the past decade, Autonomous Vehicle Systems (AVS) have advanced at an exponential rate, particularly due to improvements in artificial intelligence, which have had a significant impact on social as well as road safety and the future of transportation systems. The fusion of light detection and ranging (LiDAR) and camera data in real-time is known to be a crucial process in many applications, such as in autonomous driving, industrial automation and robotics. Especially in the case of autonomous vehicles, the efficient fusion of data from these two types of sensors is important to enabling the depth of objects as well as the classification of objects at short and long distances. This paper presents classification of objects using CNN based vision and Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) fusion in autonomous vehicles in the environment. This method is based on convolutional neural network (CNN) and image up sampling theory. By creating a point cloud of LIDAR data up sampling and converting into pixel-level depth information, depth information is connected with Red Green Blue data and fed into a deep CNN. The proposed method can obtain informative feature representation for object classification in autonomous vehicle environment using the integrated vision and LIDAR data. This method is adopted to guarantee both object classification accuracy and minimal loss. Experimental results show the effectiveness and efficiency of presented approach for objects classification.

This paper represents the structural design of the light weight axle beam for medium duty commercial vehicle using hot press. To reduce the weight of the axle, axle beam of solid type was replaced by hollow type which was made by hot press. According to the change of axle beam structure and manufacturing method, we have to investigate the structural strength and fatigue performance. To verify the axle beam performance, the structural analysis was carried out by simplified axle beam model and various design parameters that are axle beam height, thickness and width. From the analysis results, the light weight axle beam structure was founded and applied the full model analysis. This study will be used as a guidance in development of the light weight axle for medium duty commercial vehicle.
