In this study, a simulation program was developed with heat transfer model in the thermal storage tank for a solar collector and burner combined heating and hot water supply system. Analysis was conducted with variation of operating condition and schedule to analyze performance of a hot water supply and panel heating system with a solar collector and burner combined thermal storage tank. The simulation program is divided two sections. One part is calculation of temperature variation of water which flows through the panel in the floor for heating of the residential house during 24 hours, and the other part is heat transfer calculation for the reaction time to get desired water temperature in the thermal storage tank. As results, light oil consumption and system performance during operation period were analyzed with variation of climate condition and with or without solar collector. Most of the case, oil could be saved about from 24 to 41% with installing the solar collector. The performance of the system is more dependent on radiation time of the solar collector rather than the intensity of the solar radiation which was adopted for the climate analysis.

Nowaday, The Sustainable Development about global environment is the most important subject. In urban environment, a variety of the nature energy utilization such as the solar energy are the most efficient solution to solve this issue. One of these efficient, solutions, a photovoltaic system using sunlight has been introduced to the building with an advantage such as cost-effective, safe for using and good for environment friendly in light with energy utilization. Recently, many of the apartment housings are built in domestic country. The apartment buildings have been constructed since early of 1970's. now apartment is taking over 50% out of entire housing in korea. The apartment housing applying to a photovoltaic system has been extensively studied in the foreign country but our county runs short. So, It was necessary to technical development of PV application which is suitable in Korean house culture. The objective of this study is to develop the building integrated PV application method for apartment building.

The application of aluminium alloy is increasing for lightweight and high quality transport vehicle. In this study, therefore, it is intended to apply the high speed hybrid welding method for marine grade aluminium alloy(A5083) used for shipbuilding that consists of 3 kW CW Nd:YAG laser and MIG welding process. For this purpose, the characteristics of process parameters(laser & arc combine angle and focal position of hybrid head to specimen) are investigated for hybrid fillet joint. This study also describes determination of heat distribution using finite element model of the T-joint fillet weld using the in-house solver which has been validated for different type of welding problems.

Forty-five home account books were randomized by electing "prize for good home manager" in 1967 through all over the country in korea. With this sampling analyzed monthly home expenditure in different item by test of significance, and compared with model of home expenditure and this results. Hope this analysis will help to the house wife for better plan home expenditure and will develope in scientific way of life in home managing. 1. Significance test of home account books in their items and in months indicated that there were significant statistical differences in the total living expenses. In other words, they did not work out a budget, and their home account books were nothing but a record expenses. 2. There was a significant difference in the monthly expenditure for food caused by the preparation of cabbage pickle (kim Jang) in November. This payment in a lump to the cabbage pickle brought about unbalance to home economic. 3. Compared with others, in November and in December we could find a meaningful difference in the monthly expenditure for clothing. 4. It was noted that there were not such comparable significant differences in months as to be mentioned for housing light and heating, education, saving, transportation and communication culture, taxes.

This study was intended to develop some lounge wear ensembles of emotional design by using an eco-friendly material, Kenaf fabrics in line with the contemporary trend of valuing health and environment. With market survey on commercially available indoor clothing ensembles in the market, the designs of lounge wear ensembles being on sale via on/off-line routes were analyzed. Provided by Korea High Tech Textile Research Institute, Kenaf fabrics were employed to make 4 pieces of lounge wear for women (cardigan, T-shirt, slacks, vest) and 4 ones for toddlers. In addition, some housewives in their thirties or forties who lived in Seoul were asked to respond to a series of questionnaires concerning the prototypes made directly in order to evaluate consumer satisfaction with them. Although the consumer awareness of Kenaf fabrics is very low as far, this attempt to present the designs of lounge wear made of Kenaf to young housewives who have a lot of concern for and purchase experiences of eco-friendly materials is meaningful in the light of the possibility to popularize Kenaf which is not familiar as a textile material yet.

The Sun's ray is composed of Infared(49%), Visible light(40%) and Ultra violet(11%), however the ray getting to the earth is FIR(60%). IR(20%), and UV(20%). Human beings has utilized FIR already from time immemorial. Hershel found out Infrared for the first time, in the Industrial Revolution the Infrared and FI R had been begun to use making products. In asia. also, asian already has made use of FIR to treat the body, product things and make warm the house in the winter, as it had been called Wull therapy, fermentation. and On-Dol system. In these days, with contemporary science FIR would be begun to clear up the implication in the human body and organic compounds. IR classified by wavelength three parts NIR, MIR, FIR. There is FIR which is radiated from healthy human body the wave length is 8-14 m. It is difficult to standardized the wavelength of IR, since each related associations have a different opinion, so we suggested ideal IR wavelength and biological, phsiotherapical, medical FIR wavelength.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the characteristics of Jeju recreational pension. This research is carried out by on site inspection and the survey on management of the recreation facilities. A target of research is sixteen facilities of recreation pension in Jeju-do. Recreational pension was created by Jeju Free International City of special law in 2000. Jeju Recreational pension has characteristics as follows : The land area of that is $1300m^{2}{\sim}6300m^{2}$, the number of guest rooms are 10, and the area of guest rooms are $29m^{2}{\sim}100m^{2}$. Especially most of them are in Namjeju-gun. Also, they mostly have R.C. structure, and materials of exterior are artificiality stone. The color of an outer walls are mostly white and light-beige and that of the roofs are mainly dark-brown. On plot plan, it has 4type of prototype; type of outbuilding, arranging in a row, corridor, hall and composition of three types with public area. The outside facilities are equipped by handy golf courses and outdoor barbecue cooking sites. Unfortunately, most of pensions don't reflect the characteristics of architecture factors in Jeju.

Recently the population to enjoy leisure time has increased, due to the advancement of income level and increase of spare time. In the meantime, the growing attention to well-being life has shed light on Han-ok or traditional Korean house. Such a social background as former, the growing number of people prefer staying at Han-ok style accommodation when they are enjoying leisure time. However there has been little substantial study or survey on architectural standards of Han-ok style accommodation because it is a new type of accommodation facility. Therefore this study aims to suggest a set of basic standards on architectural planning for Han-ok style accommodations. For this purpose, it investigated architectural planning on Han-ok style accommodations in Jeollanamdo province through on-site survey and interview to classify them based upon size and scale of the facility, layout of buildings and interior spaces in terms of function, elevation and materials and to find basic standards on architectural planning of Han-ok style accommodations.

To compare the lighting environment of the living rooms in the apartments in Korea and China, this research conducted a study of the current status, targeting 79 households in Korea and 68 households in China. The results are the following. First, the two nations use mostly fluorescent light as the general lighting for the living room. China, in particular, share of not using the local lighting is very high. Secondly, levels of illumination was measured. The result demonstrates that the brightness of the lighting is higher in Korea compared to China while China demonstrates higher uniformity ratio for the levels of illumination compared to Korea. However, levels of illumination in general are very low in China. Thus, it cannot be concluded that China offers favorable lighting environment. Third, study on the degree of living room lighting's brightness and satisfaction level demonstrates that they are both average in Korea and China. As for the important points for the house lighting, most Koreans cited 'brightness of the lighting' while most Chinese said 'ease of maneuvering'.

Recently, the korean-style houses are shedded new light. So, this study analysed what it is required and improved for preservation and vitalization of traditional korean village. At tool of analysis and systemic analytical approach, the problem of traditional korean village figured out. and then, the method and Importance of improvement are deducted. As a result of this study, it is represented to need that the preservation of architectural factors in the self korean-style house, but the more important things are deducted cooperation of citizen, political support and consideration of government at level of urban planning. There must be considered for planned conservation and development, increasing value by recreation of historicity and culture in city unit of community.
