암순응을 고려한 겸용형 비상조명등에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Convertible Emergency Lighting Fixture in Consideration of Dark Adaptation)

  • When an emergency light turns on due to a blackout, the intensity of illumination is drastically changed from hundreds [1x] to 1.0[1x]. This sharp change of illumination intensity not only lowers the darkness adaptation of the eye, it also degrades the obstacle cognitive ability of the evacuees, resulting in secondary critical accidents due to anxiety, and fear. Thus, this study proposed a convertible emergency lighting fixture that controls the rate of speed of light in two stages by time with darkness adaptation of the eye in consideration. In addition, the effect of such emergency light is verified by suggesting an illumination simulation without increasing the number of light or capacity of battery to make it economically feasible.

주거지역에서 가로조명에 의한 침입광발생 분석 (A Field Investigation on Light Trespass of Residential Buildings by Street Lighting)

  • Spill light by street lighting is a kind of light pollution creating cozy night atmosphere, interfere visual private and cause insomnia at night. This study was to survey light trespass of the windows in residential buildings. According to outdoor lighting control guidance in Seoul, three different areas were selected to investigate the trespass light to windows. The results were as follows: 37% of the buildings of 386 buildings were influenced by street lighting, and 47% of windows were occurred light trespass. Therefore, the street lighting affected light trespass at night in survey area. The main reasons of light trespass were luminaire type, luminaire pole height, and street width. For protecting the light trespass to windows, it is necessary to non-cutoff fixture to full cutoff fixture by the street width.

LED조명기구의 CF-Design 방열 해석 (Analysis of the Heat Radiation of LED Light Fixture using CF-design)

  • 본 논문은 LED조명기구의 상용화에 문제가 되고 있는 방열설계에 관한 논문으로서, CF-design을 이용한 방열해석을 통하여 문제해결의 방법을 제시한다. 해석 결과 시뮬레이션 값과 시작품 제작 후 측정 온도와의 차이가 6[$^{\circ}C$]이하로 도출되었으며 주어진 제 요소들을 잘 활용하면 실제작품의 목표치에 근접하는 결과를 얻을 수 있다.

두 가지 배광을 갖는 LED 횡단보도 조명장치에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Novel LED Lighting Fixture for Crosswalk Having Two Different Light Distributions)

  • Recently, LED lighting fixtures for crosswalk become popular in order to recognize the pedestrians at crosswalk, which can enhance the safety of the pedestrian at crosswalk. However, there are several problems related to the LED lighting fixtures for crosswalk, such as a lot of energy consumption due to a constant illumination during night and glaring of pedestrians at the opposite side of crosswalk. In this study, in order to overcome these problems, we have investigated a novel LED lighting fixture for crosswalk, which has two modules with different angles ($60^{\circ}$, $120^{\circ}$). Illuminance of min and max at four-line city street crosswalk shown 50 Lux, 125 Lux, respectively. Illuminance of min and max at eight-line city street crosswalk shown 150 Lux, 200 Lux, respectively. Simulation investigation was optimized design using optical program. Prototype was verified measurement by goniometer system.

업무용 건축물의 실내 조명기구 특성에 따른 발열 효과에 관한 연구 (Interior heating effect in an office building according to heat properties of light fixture)

  • Purpose: Generally, 30% of the total energy consumption in office building is used for artificial indoor lightings, and almost 75-85% of electric power in fluorescent and Light-Emitting Diode (LED) lightings can be dissipated as a form of heat into indoor environment. The heat generated by indoor lightings can cause the increase of cooling load in office buildings. Thus, it its important to consider indoor lightings as a heat and light source, simultaneously. Method: In this study, we installed two kinds of indoor lightings including fluorescent and LED lightings and measured surface temperature of both indoor lightings. In addition, we obtained ambient temperature of indoor space and finally calculated total heat dissipated from plenum area and surface of lightings. Result: Total indoor heat gain was 87.17Wh and 201.36Wh in cases of six 40W-LED lightings and 64W-fluorescent lightings, respectively.

백열전구 복사열에 의한 미송판의 발화 임계거리 및 발화시간 예측 (Predicting of Ignition Time and Critical Distance for Ignition of Douglas fir by Radiant Heat of Incandescent Lamp)

  • The incandescent lamp is an electric light fixture with a tungsten filament heated to a high temperature, by passing an electric current through it, until it glows with visible light. The hot filament is protected from oxidation with a glass bulb that is filled with inert gas. The incandescent lamp has fire risk when combustible materials are close to its glass bulb. Because its lamp has the property which converts 90~95 percents of the electric power to heat energy. 2015 national fire statistics show that fires caused by lighting fixtures were 652 cases, and incandescent lamps(44 cases) and halogen lamps(53 cases) accounted for 15 percents in those of high heating light fixtures. Since incandescent lamp fires account for about 45 percents in the high heating light fixture, we could not overlook the fire risks by the incandescent lamp. Although many studies related with those have been conducted, incandescent lamp fires are continuously occurred. This study was carried out to study the fire risk of ignition of wood due to radiant heat of incandescent lamp. Radiant heat flux of the incandescent lamp was predicted by applying point source model, and critical distance for ignition of wood was calculated by applying integral model. The results from this study could applied to fire prevention activities related to light bulb, and it could be used in fire cause investigations related to radiant heat of incandescent lamp.

성분적 속성에 기초한 조명기구디자인 교육프로그램 (An Educational Program of Luminaire Design based on Component Attributes)

  • 본 연구는 여러 학문의 지식체계가 통합되어진 조명이라는 특성을, 교육적 관점에서 기술적 내용에 중점을 두고 그 활용방법을 생각해 보았다. 먼저 시지각의 프로세스로 시작하여 빛과 사람의 생리학적, 물리학적 상관성을 살펴보았다. 다음으로 조명 기구라는 개념을 분석, 이해하기 위하여 조명기구의 성분적 속성을 기술하여 그 정체성의 범주를 규정하였으며 이를 통해 디자인 과정 중에 고려해야 할 제반 요소들을 검토 할 수 있는 토대를 마련하였다. 마지막으로 위에서 열거한 내용을 디자인 수업이라는 교육적 형식 속에 프로그램화 시켜봄으로써 본 연구의 목적인 조명기구디자인의 교육체계를 구체적으로 검증해 보았다. 이러한 일련의 과정을 통해 얻게된 결론은 첫째, 조형 일변도의 실기교육 과정을 뛰어 넘어 조명 이론과 실기가 조화를 이룬, 즉 조명에 대해 전체적으로 균형 있는 수업이 진행되었으면 한다. 둘째, 조명에 대한 인식의 확장으로 인공 환경물과의 관계 및 과학적인 데이터에 의한 빛의 구체적인 검증을 도모하는 대상간의 인터페이스를 고려한 실험적인 교육이다.

방송 스폿 조명등기구 36[W]급 LED 등기구 개발 (Development of 36[W] LED Fixtures for the Broadcasting Spot Lighting)

  • 방송 조명 카메라 촬영 시 텅스텐 할로겐 조명기가 너무 뜨겁고 전기용량이 많이 소비되어 전기에너지 절약 및 영상의 질을 향상 시키고자 방송 조명 등기구를 36[W]급 LED로 대치하고자 연구하였다. 그리고 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 방송조명에서 사용되는 할로겐 1[kw]조명 등기구 보다 36[w] LED 등기구 조도가 떨어진 반면 파사체 부분의 조도는 높아진 것을 불수 있었고, 영상이 매우 부드럽고 환하게 나타나는 것을 볼 수 있었다.
