Surface micro-crack grows along intergranular or transgranular region of crystal grains. But if it meets the barrier such as sessile dislocation and precipitates it loses straightness and deflects. Investigators had many difficulties in estimating fatigue life of smooth specimen because of the random distribution growth and coalescence of surface micro-cracks. The path of surface micro-crack has irregularity due to nonhomogeneous microstructure. Euclidian geometry can't quantify the shape of surface micro-crack but fractal geometry can. Therefore in this paper fractal dimension is measured at various stage of cycle ratio and estimated cycle ratio in 2024-T3 aluminium, alloy.

The purpose of this study was to probe the role recognition and role performance of husbands if family and to find out the variables which influence role recognition and role performance. the sample were selected from 503 husbands with children more than one living in Seoul The major findings were : 1) husbands` role recognition was relatively higher than role performance 2) Influential variables on the husbands` role recognition were the degree of home-orientedness communication-satisfaction and stage of life cycle. 3) Husbands` role performance was affected by communication-satisfaction degree of social support job satisfactions sex-role attitudes flexibility of job and jusbands` role recognition.

Recently, workers are interested in work-life balance. However, most dual- income couples do not make the effort to achieve work-life balance in their everyday life compared with many workplaces that make various family-friendly policies available to them. Therefore, this study aims to suggest the necessity and process of work-life balance through career management over one's lifespan. The needs and resources of families are not the same during every stage of the family life cycle. Thus, dual-income couples should aim to invest in career management which includes balancing their work and their family when considering their future career and life. Additionally, they should try to match the needs and resources of both their work and their family by using family resources, workplace policies, and community networks.

This paper presents a LNG Liquefaction cycle configuration using two stages of methane expansion (i.e. spliting into two stages as warm & cold to generate an additional inflection point within a cold composite curve) and a single stage of nitrogen expansion to improve the efficiency of the conventional Methane & Nitrogen Expansion Cycle. In comparison with Double Nitrogen Expansion Cycel and Methane & Nitrogen Expansion Cycle, the cycle efficiency has increased approximately from 13.92 and 13.13 to 12.08 kW/ton/day (8~15% efficiency increase). A Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis based on Net Present Value (NPV) also show an improvement in therms of project NPV, against a minor increment of a CAPEX.

Operation and maintenance stage consists the largest portion of project life cycle cost. Appropriate management and analysis of such stages have massive effect on the total project cost. The effective prediction of optimized repair period is one of main factors in ㅌ management. However, it has been analyzed that the prediction of appropriate repair period revealed limitations in reliability. Therefore, this study suggests a methodology of repair period prediction by dividing finished projects into similar groups with same properties to be compared with the target project using quantitative variables.

The high speed rolling stock system considerably belongs to a special industry which requires large-scale investment cost but the recovery term is long. Therefore, to guarantee risk and possibility of technological success in initial investment, tools concerned with various expecting methods like life cycle costs analysis and credibility management are used. In view of this characteristics, the cases on cost structure for HSR RS previously invested should be studied and the method to appropriately allocate the life cycle of each sub-system like arrangement unit, electric device, braking device, door and car body should be realized. Moreover, the environmental aspects of main manufacturer and parts supplier can be checked. This study, through the case study for HSR cost structure in introduction and operational stage of KTX, aims to seek for the method to adapt to environmental changes like EU railway industry of which object is to acquire global market competitiveness by integrating manufacturing and operation of RS and the regulation and operation of IRIS which is performed in Europe.

Visual and color in Korean newspaper advertisements appeared in transformational advertising (21cm$\times$30.4cm) were analyzed. Data were gathered from 191 advertisements shown on major four daily newspaper; Dong-a, Joong-ang, Chosun and Hanguk from October to December in 2000. From the results of this research, both type of layout and color are proposed more variety by this researcher. Mixed production techniques are used in newspaper advertising. Also, more foreign advertising model are expected near future. Finally, product life cycle have relationship with each layout elements. In other words, based on the stage of product life cycle layout elements are changed respectively.

The purpose of this study is to examine the strategies that may influence the marital satisfaction of dual-earner men and women. General linear model, Pearson's correlation analysis, Stepwise multiple regression were employed for data analysis. the subjects are 396 dual-earner men and women. The result from the research were as follows: 1) coping strategy use differs significantly by life cycle stage. 2) The following strategies significantly correlated with the level of marital satisfaction: cognitive restructuring, delegation. using social support, modifying standards, personal time reducing. 3) The result of stepwise multiple regression analysis indicated that strategies which predict the level of marital satisfaction were cognitive restructuring, delegating, using social support, personal time reducing. these finding give us significant practical implications for social work intervention.

In this paper, we define four levels of analysis, design, implementation, and testing of the configuration of the development phase by S/W development life cycle. In particular, it dealt with the stage of the analysis phase to prepare an information system developed intensively. Details of the derivation of the information security requirements, it can be seen that comes from the perspective of confidentiality, integrity, availability and accountability, etc. It dealt with from the first manifestations of the projects planning to final planning to establish information security in activities of the Information Security requirements. As an example exhibited by assessing the information security analysis phase activities of S corporations, it can be seen that the improved sales rise in information security activities.

The Public Private Partnership/Private Finance Initiative (PPP/PFI) schemes have made the private sector become a major participant involved in the development of infrastructure systems along with the government. Due to more integrated efforts among project participants and longer concession period, PPP/PFI projects are inherently more complex and risky. It is therefore very important to proactively manage the risks involved throughout the project life cycle. Conventional risk management strategies sometimes ignore managerial flexibility in the planning and execution process. This paper starts with a revised risk management framework which incorporates the real option concept. Following the presentation of the framework, a new risk classification is proposed which leads to different ways of structuring options in a project according to the stage of the project life cycle. Finally, the paper closes by discussing other issues concerning option modeling and negotiation.
