Korean private colleges under the period of Japanese control was the kernel for the educational resistance, one of the save-the-nation movements because of inculcating in Koreans the spirit of independence and self-respect under that period. Posung College Library building, erected in Commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the Foundation, especially, was the result of Koreans systematizing ability and iron will of independence for the future generations. In this paper, an attempt to study the Korean private college libraries under the period of Japanese control is provided. The main institutions in this study are Posung College library, Chosen Christian College library (Yunhee College Library), and Ewha College Library. This study will focus to review the followings: 1. The historical background of above mentioned libraries. 2. The educational resistance under that period. 3. The comparative and analytical study of these private college libraries and Keijo Imperial University library. 4. The facilities and the basic collection development plan on the basis of presentation. 5. library services including readers services. 6. The impact of these libraries on the present private university libraries. 7. The organization and staffing pattern, and budget of these private college libraries. The followings are the outlines conclusions: 1. Korean private college libraries had been established in order to perform the educational resistance. They are one of the supporting agencies for the research activities, among the most important means of social education, and provide, no doubt, the full nutriment for hungry soul under that period. 2. These libraries have not outstripped Keijo Imperial University in collection of books as well as man power, but their collection of books coincided, in general, with their curricula, and had feature to perform the save-the-nation-movement by education. 3. The library services were appeared in the forms such as the Circulation Library, Lectures on the Use of Books and Libraries, Library Week, and Training Course for the Librarians, etc. It is thought that these activities contributed to the social and cultural development of Korea indirectly. 4. The library administration of the private colleges depended upon the director of library because of the frequent changes of staffs and the simple functional system without its middle class. 5. The Japanese Government-General in Korea gave no financial assistance to the private colleges though they were in financial difficulties more than Keijo Imperial University. 6. The ambitious ideal for foundation of universities in reality as well as in name was not achieved during that period because of the monstrous obstacle so-called the Japanese Government-General in Korea, but its ideal had a desirable effect upon these college libraries development, in particular, before and after 1935.

이 연구는 우리나라 초대 국립도서관장 이재욱의 저작 목록과 관련 자료를 수집·정리하고, 이를 통해 그가 도서관계에 미친 업적을 찾아내기 위한 것이다. 이에 따라 기존에 수집된 이재욱의 저작 목록과 새로 수집한 목록의 원문을 찾아 비교함으로써 전체 목록의 수정과 보완, 추가 작업이 이루어졌다. 그 결과, 이재욱의 저작은 단행본, 도서관 전문지, 교양 잡지, 각종 신문 등을 통해 발표한 190건의 목록으로 완성되었다. 다음, 당대 관련 사료와 함께 목록의 내용을 분석한 결과, 이재욱의 업적은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 그는 다양한 고전연구를 통하여 우리나라의 책과 글에서 문헌학과 서지학적 가치를 찾아냈다. 둘째, 그는 일제강점기 근대 도서관의 이론과 실제를 우리나라에 이식하는 데 중요한 역할을 했다. 셋째, 각종 매체에 발표한 칼럼과 에세이를 통해 우리나라 전역의 독서문화 확산을 위해 노력했다. 넷째, 미 군정청이 요구한 국립도서관의 법제 도서 이관 문제를 해결하고, 조선도서관학교를 설립하는 등 선구적 리더십으로 초기 국립도서관의 위상과 기초를 만드는데 기여했다. 다섯째, 조선도서관협회장으로서 도서관 사업 강습회, 독서주간 제정 및 실시, 대외 교류 등 우리나라 도서관계가 해야 할 핵심사업을 추진했다.

이 연구에서는 웹기반 온라인목록 이용자들의 전반적인 검색행태를 알아보기 위해, 7년 동안의 트랜잭션 로그를 분석하였다. 웹기반 온라인목록의 검색형태는 검색전략과 검색실패의 관점에서 조사하였다. 검색전략에서는 검색유형, 접근점, 연산자, 검색문의 길이, 단어 사용횟수, 웹기반 온라인목록 이용횟수, 시간대별 및 요일별 이용횟수를 분석하였다. 또한 검색실패는 검색실패율과 접근점별 검색실패율, 연산자별 검색실패율을 분석하였다. 이 연구결과는 향후 웹기반 온라인목록 시스템과 서비스 개선에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The phenolic compounds are a major contaminant class often found in industrial wastewaters and the biological treatment is an alternative tool commonly employed for their removal. In this sense, monitoring microbial community dynamics is crucial for a successful wastewater treatment. This work aimed to monitor the structure and activity of the bacterial community during the operation of a laboratory-scale continuous submerged membrane bioreactor (SMBR), using PCR and RT-PCR followed by denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) and 16S rRNA libraries. Multivariate analyses carried out using DGGE profiles showed significant changes in the total and metabolically active dominant community members during the 4-week treatment period, explained mainly by phenol and ammonium input. Gene libraries were assembled using 16S rDNA and 16S rRNA PCR products from the fourth week of treatment. Sequencing and phylogenetic analyses of clones from the 16S rDNA library revealed a high diversity of taxa for the total bacterial community, with predominance of Thauera genus (ca. 50%). On the other hand, a lower diversity was found for metabolically active bacteria, which were mostly represented by members of Betaproteobacteria (Thauera and Comamonas), suggesting that these groups have a relevant role in the phenol degradation during the final phase of the SMBR operation.

본 연구는 대학도서관 모바일 서비스에 대한 이용자의 경험을 일기를 통해 간접적으로 관찰함으로써 모바일 서비스를 이용하는 이용자들의 이용행동을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 대학도서관이 모바일 서비스를 구축하고 운영하는데 있어서 필수적인 이용자들에 대한 이해를 돕고 모바일 도서관 서비스에 대한 이용자들의 요구를 파악함으로써 대학도서관 모바일 서비스의 발전을 꾀하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 국내의 2개 대학도서관을 선정하고 대학생 20명에게 일주일 동안 매일 1회 이상 자관에서 제공하는 모바일 서비스를 이용해보고 이용 과정 및 생각들을 자세하게 일기에 작성하여 제출하도록 하였다. 수집된 총 137개의 일기는 귀납적 접근의 내용분석을 통해 분석되었으며, 정보요구, 정보요구 해결여부, 이용 서비스, 모바일 도서관 이용 과정 중에 보이는 정보행동과 장애요인을 파악하였다. 그리고 분석 결과를 기반으로 대학도서관 모바일 서비스의 개선 방안을 제시하였다.

체계적인 계속교육의 필요성을 인식하고, 현직자들을 대상으로 계속교육의 실태를 파악하고 요구를 분석하기 위하여 설문조사를 수행하였다. 한국도서관협회 개인회원파일로부터 $25\%$ 계통표집을 하여 292명에게 설문을 배포하였으며, $80\%$회수되었다. 문헌정보전문직들의 계속교육 참여 요구는 대단히 높지만$(90.5\%)$ 참여 현황은 저조하여 전체의 약 $50\%$정도만이 지난 3년 동안 교육경험이 있고, 개별적인 학습도 취약하며 개인차가 크다. 소속기관에서는 계속교육을 장려하고 있으나$(67\%)$구체적인 장려책은 충분치 못해 시간과 비용보조를 제공하는 경우는 전체의 약 $25\%$에 불과하다. 현직 자들이 요구하는 교육유형은 전문주제별이나$(31.1\%)$업무별$(25.5\%)$ 단기과정이며, CD-ROM과 같은 뉴미디어$(31.6\%)$나 온라인 교육$(22.9\%)$ 방식도 선호도가 높다. 응답자들은 계속 교육 주관기구로는 협/학회, 대학이 바람직하다고 보았다. 요구주제를 결정하기 위하여 제시하였던 16가지 주제에 대해 응답자의 과반수 이상이 요구한 주제는 5가지이며, 7가지 주제에서 유의한 관종별 차이가 판명되었다.

The following results have been driven out from a survey of the actual conditions of the public libraries service in Korea, made through questionnaire in reference with the actual service for youth that are presently done by the foreign countries' libraries, in order to prepare a perfect and objective base in establishing a service activities of the public libraries in this country: (1) It was found that the public libraries' loarning hours during the week days which accords with the schooling hours of the schools are shown to 50 %. On Saturdays during Summer season seven libraries and during Winter season twelve libraries would close their loaning before 17 : 00 hours, and on Holidays and Sundays fifteen libraries are not doing their loarning. (2) The followings are the present status of the service activities for the youth by the public libraries: a. It was found that they do introduction activity (50 %) of newly published books as a service for inducing reading interestings of the youth, and except this it was found that others are on beginning. b. The service activities by the data for the visual and auditory sense are almost negelected. and the rate of doing such activity is shown to 9.74%. c. It has been found that little information service activity is for inducing the youth to the libraries. d. As a cooperative activity with the school's, a passive service activity to have pursuaded to visit the public libraries by each class, are mostly being done (27.27%). Some research meeting for solving all the matters between the school libraries are not held mostly.

본 연구는 인천광역시에 위치한 청소년 쉼터의 남자 청소년과, 부천시에 위치한 청소년 쉼터의 여자 청소년을 대상으로 집단 독서 심리 코칭 프로그램이 쉼터 거주 청소년의 자기성장에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 프로그램의 진행은 2016년 7월 17일부터 2016년 10월 17일에 걸쳐 주 1회 120분씩 각각 12회기의 독서 심리 코칭을 실시했다. 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위해 '열등감 증후 척도'와 '진로 결정 자기 효능감 척도'를 사용하여 사전 사후의 점수를 비교하였다. 이러한 연구 과정을 통해 얻은 결론은 독서 심리 코칭이 쉼터 거주 청소년의 자기성장에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 따라서 본 연구가 쉼터 거주 청소년에게 발달적 독서 심리 코칭으로써 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대된다.

Random genes were screened in two transforming ways to investigate the new genes of a ladybug using the Harmonia axyridis cDNA library stock cell cloned in the LITMUS 28i vector in a previous study. Phenotypic variation was observed after injection of the synthesized double-stranded RNA through the in vitro transcription process. The cDNA library of H. axyridis was transformed into E. coli $DH5{\alpha}$ and 10B competent cells by heat shock. Analysis of the nucleotide sequences of the 42 clones with the insert DNAs revealed that 21 clones were homologous with the genes of insects, and only one clone had a gene from H. axyridis. Thirteen of the 21 insect genes were homologous with genes from coleopteran insects. Fourteen genes were selected, which were identified by the gene screening results, and were synthesized as double-stranded RNA through in vitro transcription. One microgram of the synthesized double-stranded RNA between segments T1 and T2 were injected using a syringe into each anesthetized fourth larvae which were under 2 days old. As a result, a phenotypic variation appeared in the larva injected with the two genes. While the eggs of H. axyridis injected with distilled water hatched out three days after oviposition, the eggs of H. axyridis injected with dsHma 06 did not hatch but become shrivel a week after oviposition. Most of the H. axyridis injected with dsHma 08 died and were unable to complete the pupation or eclosion during ecdysis.

본 연구는 기존의 CD-ROM 데이터베이스 탐색형태에 관한 연구를 기초로 의학도서관에서 사용하고 있는 온라인 MEDLINE을 검색하는데 있어 연구자들이 정보이용을 보다 효율적으로 제공할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 의학도서관에서의 MEDLINE 탐색형태를 조사하기 위하여 정보이용 행태에 관한 문헌조사와 실태조사를 설문지 조사방법으로 60개 의학도서관을 대상으로 의학전문사서의 정보이용 행태를 추출하였다.
