본 연구는 서고 내부에서 이용자가 목표지에 보다 능률적으로 도달할 수 있도록 하기 위한 서고 Sign System의 구체적 적용에 대한 사례 및 과정을 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 S대학 중앙도서관의 서고 구조, Sign 현황, 이용자 관찰, 이용자 선호조사, 시안제작 등의 절차를 거쳐 도서관 서고 현장에 새로운 Sign을 적용하였다. 상세한 제작과정 및 이용자의 반응을 파악하고, 추후 대형 도서관 서고 Sign 제작 시 보완되어야 할 사항 등을 제언하였다.

국립중앙도서관은 이용자의 효율적인 이용과 정보전달을 목적으로 각종 사인(sign)을 설치 운영하고 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 국립중앙도서관의 기존 사인에 대한 현황 분석과 이용자 및 직원 대상으로 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 이를 토대로 이용자의 효율적 도서관 이용 안내와 국립중앙도서관 사인시스템의 개선을 위한 운영방안으로 시각적 연속성의 개선, 설치 위치의 변경, 과다한 사인물의 축소, 임시 부착 사인물의 제한, 알아보기 쉬운 내용 등을 제언하였다.

The user has to subscribe to the library so that user use the library service. User has to register at that in order to use of the nearby another library. Moreover, service such as the inter-library loan and returning my loan book to other library in which the mutual cooperation between the library is needed necessity. But it services due to the constraint condition because of the administrative or technical problems. In this paper excludes the administrative element. The web service model is forming the cluster based on the mutual cooperation between the technologically adjacent public library and provides the technologically necessary single sign-on (SSO) in order to support the additional service. The single sign-on of the library which is concluded by this model using the security information exchange standard (Security Assertion Markup Language : SAML), it is processed by XML base. In using this model, the loan information is confirmed in the attribution in return service library and the model can utilize for the return of loan book in other library. It designs the single sign-on about it.

Single Sign-On(SSO)은 사용자가 단 한번의 인증으로 분산된 시스템에서 제공하는 다른 서비스에 로그인하는 것을 가능하게 하는 보안 특징이다. SAML은 서로 다른 entity들 사이에서 인증, 권한 그리고 profile 정보의 교환을 가능하게 하는 XML기반의 SSO표준이다. 이러한 표준은 분산 환경에서 서로 다른 보안 서비스들 사이에 상호운용성을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 SAML APIs로 구성된 자바 기반의 SSO library를 설계 및 구현하고 SAML APIs를 검증하기 위해 분산 application의 prototype을 구성하였다. 개발된 library에서 무결성, 부인방지, 그리고 기밀성 같은 보안고려사항들을 XML기반의 서명과 암호화를 적용하여 보장한다.

In this paper, we implemented a sign language communication system between korean and japanese using 3D model. Unitl now, we have developed the system through 2D image. The system, however, has some drawbacks base don the limitations of 2D model. Especially it is not comprehensive in the sign language gesture including forward or backward movements becasue it can only display a front view. Therefore, we employed a 3D model for the representation of sign language. The proposed communication system si implemented with windows 95 visual C++ 5.0 imported open inventor library on pentium 233 system. Experimented results show that the 3D system can solve the problems in 2D representation.

This paper presents a design of a speech to sign language converter for deaf and hard of hearing people. The device is low-cost, low-power consumption, and it can be able to work entirely offline. The speech recognition is implemented using an open-source API, Pocketsphinx library. In this work, we proposed a context-oriented language model, which measures the similarity between the recognized speech and the predefined speech to decide the output. The output speech is selected from the recommended speech stored in the database, which is the best match to the recognized speech. The proposed context-oriented language model can improve the speech recognition rate by 21% for working entirely offline. A decision module based on determining the similarity between the two texts using Levenshtein distance decides the output sign language. The output sign language corresponding to the recognized speech is generated as a set of sequential images. The speech to sign language converter is deployed on a Raspberry Pi Zero board for low-cost deaf assistive devices.

본 연구는 지식 분류의 기호학적 특성을 파악하고 지식 분류의 기호학적 구조가 고전이나 정전에 미치는 영향을 논의한다. 이러한 영향의 흐름이 기호학적 체계의 구조적 측면에서 연유한다는 것을 통하여 인터넷 등 전자매체와 금서의 동일성을 사회 문화적 구조주의 시각에서 논의한다. 또한 기호적 해석이 가능한 구조주의 이론 틀을 빌어 대중매체를 포함한 영상 매체 등의 텍스트를 이해하고 해석할 수 있는 방향으로 기호 체계의 이용을 제안하고자 한다.

본 연구는 덕성여자대학교 도서관을 중심으로 도서관내에서 제기되는 이용자의 참고질문을 분석함으로써 대학도서관 이용자들의 잠재적 정보요구를 파악하고자 하였다. 2000년 10월 10일부터 12월 13일 까지 64일 동안 대학도서관내에서 제기되는 참고질문 총 474건을 수집 분석하였다. 사서의 전문적 지식이 요구되는 순수한 참고질문은 총 474건의 질문의 10.1%인 48건에 불과하여 대학도서관의 양질의 참고정보서비스 제공은 매우 소극적 수준인 것으로 나타났다. 특정 도서나 장소의 위치를 묻는 방향적 질문이 139건(29.3%), 기기관련 질문이 113건(23.8%), 도서관 정책관련 질문이 85건(17.9%)등, 세 종류의 질문이 총 질문의 71.0%안 337건을 차지하여 이용자는 도서관 사용에 필수적인 기초적인 안내정보를 필요로하는 것으로 나타났다. 도서관은 적어도 사인(sign)시스템과 안내정보시스템을 개선함으로써 방향적 질문(29.3%)과 도서관정책관련 질문(17.9%)을 포함한 이용자의 정보요구의 47.2%룰 만족시킬 수 있을 것으로 예측된다.

본 연구의 배경은 공공도서관 사인시스템의 현황과 지속적인 활용에 있다. 수많은 정보 중 필요한 정보를 선별하고 수용하는 것이 중요한 현대사회에서 사인시스템은 원만한 상호작용을 위한 주요수단이다. 특히 복잡한 구조와 공간의 기능을 함께 지니고 있는 도서관에서 정보를 파악하기 위해서 명확한 지각효과를 갖춘 사인의 역할은 무엇보다 중요하다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 이용자가 공공도서관을 이용할 때 어떠한 요소가 정보를 수용하고 시각적으로 인지하는데 많은 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다. 그리고 선정된 도서관을 대상으로 기능 및 시각적 요소에 따라 사례분석을 한 후 이용자 만족도 조사를 실시하여 효과적이고 편리하게 도서관을 이용할 수 있도록 정보를 제시하는데 목적이 있다.
