이 연구는 예비사서들이 도서관실습 교육과정 중 겪은 개인적 경험을 기술하되, 실습 과정 전반에 걸친 내용과 이를 둘러싼 내 외적인 정황과 환경적인 요인들을 분석하여 이해하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 A 대학의 문헌정보학과 학생 중 도서관실습 교육참가자들을 대상으로 심층 면담를 실시하여 실습과정 중에 경험한 모든 일상과 그 의미들을 구체적으로 구술하도록 하였다. 구술된 내용을 모두 녹취하여 전사하고 이를 Giorgi의 기술적 현상학 방법을 적용하여 내용분석을 수행하였다. 도서관실습 교육참여자들의 경험 내용은 크게 5가지 구성요소와 17개의 하위 구성요소로 분석되었다. 그 경험의 구성요소로는 '도서관 및 사서에 대한 인식형성 과정', '진로 설계의 구체화 과정과 도전', '실습 전 준비과정 중 경험한 도전과 성장', '실습 과정 중 경험한 도전과 성장' 그리고 '실습 후 경험과 평가'로 요약되었다. 이 결과가 시사하는 바를 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 향후 도서관실습 교육과정과 프로그램 개발을 위한 구체적인 방법과 방향을 제시하고, 관련 후속연구를 제안하였다.

The study investigated the Integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to the Library and Information Science Curriculum: The Practicum in Library Schools in Rivers State. Descriptive survey design was used with a population 374 comprising 21 LIS educators and 353 Four Hundred Level Library and Information Science Students from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, and Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Port Harcourt. Census sampling technique was used to select the LIS educators and purposive sampling technique was used to the select the Four Hundred Level LIS students. Questionnaire and checklist were used for data collection. 90% and 97% responses were found valid for analysis for LIS Educators and LIS students respectively. The study was analyzed using mean rating, standard deviation and simple percentage. The study revealed that ICT courses were integrated into LIS curriculum in Library schools in Rivers State but LIS educators lacked the ICT skills to teach ICT practicum consequently, the students were not properly taught ICT practicum. However, students had positive perception of ICT practicum. Notwithstanding, lack of ICT skills, poor policy implementation, lack of state-of-the-art infrastructure and nonchalant attitudes of staff towards the adoption of ICT constituted the challenges faced in the implementation of ICT practicum. The study therefore, recommended that the management of library schools in Rivers State should implement ICT practicum by hiring competent staff maybe from computers science department to teach the practicum for the interim. Subsequently, recruitment of librarians should include strictly ICT compliant.

This study attempts to draw the implications of student satisfaction with fieldwork courses in the library and information science (LIS) program in South Korea by determining the level of satisfaction experienced by students with practicums at a library and information service agency. LIS students with fieldwork experience were surveyed to assess their satisfaction and the factors affecting their satisfaction. Results from a multiple regression analysis revealed that from among factors of practicum settings, major-related attributes, and general attributes of respondents, "satisfaction with majors" and "interpersonal relationships" had a significant effect on satisfaction with practicums. Examining the six components of satisfaction with the course revealed that "practicum program" and "practicum setting" had a significant relationship with overall satisfaction. A selective intervention program to improve satisfaction with the course needs to be developed based on factors influencing overall satisfaction, focusing on "interpersonal relationship" and "satisfaction with majors.

이 연구는 예비사서들의 도서관실습 교육을 지원하기 위한 '사전교육 프로그램'을 개발하고 그 운영방안을 제언하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 사전교육 프로그램 내용과 운영방법을 구상하기 위해 관련 선행연구를 종합적으로 분석하고, 실습참가자들의 사전 요구들을 분석하여 최종 사전교육 내용구성과 운영방법을 제안하였다. 5가지 교육주제와 세부항목들로 구성된 사전교육 프로그램을 실제로 도서관실습에 참여하려는 H대학의 문헌정보학과 학생들을 대상으로 교육을 실시하였다. 사전교육 직후 설문지법과 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통해 프로그램의 내용과 운영방법에 대한 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 예비사서들은 교육 중 '커뮤니케이션 스킬 개발'에 대한 내용에 가장 큰 만족도와 선호를 보였고, '이력서 및 자기소개서 작성', '자아성찰 및 자기설계' 순서였다. 교육내용에 대한 사전요구와 만족도는 실습참여자들의 인구학적 특성인, 학업성적, 진로결정 유무 등에 따라 다른 선호도를 표하는 바, 사전교육을 실행함에 있어 일괄적 교육보다는 실습참여자들의 특성을 고려하여 사전교육 내용을 선택적이고도 융통성 있게 조합하여 운영할 것을 제언하였다.

본 연구에서는 예비 사서교사를 대상으로 반구조화된 심층면담을 통해 현행 교육실습에 대한 전반적인 인식을 조사하고 교육실습 제도의 개선안을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 교육실습에 참여한 예비 사서교사 33명(사범대학 6명, 교직이수 16명, 교육대학원 11명)을 대상으로 면담자료를 수집하고 질적 분석 기법과 함께 텍스트 네트워크 분석 방법을 혼합한 연구 방법을 적용하였다. 연구 결과, 예비 사서교사는 교육실습을 통해 다양한 현장의 경험을 예비할 수 있고, 향후 학교 현장에서 마주칠 상황에 대처할 수 있는 역량을 배양할 수 있다고 생각하고 있었으며, 질적 탐구를 통해 학교현장실습 전반에 대한 인식과 학교현장실습 과정에 대한 인식, 교육봉사활동에 대한 인식을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 현행 교육실습의 문제를 개선하기 위해 학교현장실습 기간의 확대, 시기의 분산, 상시실습 체계의 구축, 현장교사와 지속적인 논의, 체계적인 학교현장실습 프로그램의 개발 등을 제안하였다.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 성인간호실습 가상현실 교육 중재 연구를 체계적 고찰 방법으로 탐색하여, 추출된 문헌들로부터 중재 방법, 연구 주제, 결과 변수, 효과성의 근거합성을 하였다. CINAHL, PubMed, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, RISS의 데이터 베이스로부터 7편의 연구가 추출되었고, 무작위 실험연구가 3편, 비무작위 실험연구가 4편이었다. 고찰 결과 간호대학생의 지식, 수행, 태도, 비판적 사고, 자기효능감, 정보수집능력, 문제해결능력, 자신감, 효율성에서 효과를 보였으므로, 성인간호실습에서 가상현실 교육 중재가 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

1. Library practice education in Korea is in the form of field experience, that is, Practicum, which is one type of field experience. 2. The practicum is a short-term work experience guided by the academic institutions. (2 to 6 weeks of full time employment in a library, or one to two semesters of approximately 10 to 12 hours weekly) 3. Field work is largely accepted as a required subject. 4. Field work is usually carried out during the first semester of senior year. (or of sophomore year in junior college) 5. Libraries in other universities (or in other institutions) can beused for a student's field work. But the current tendency is to use his or her own university's library. 6. Most universities give one credit for 2 weeks' field work. 7. The method of evaluation is strict: A or 'excellent' (above 90), B or 'good' (above 80), C or 'fair' (above 70), D or 'bad' (above 60). 8. The expense of field work is usually included in the tuition fees. However, some think that an additional fees should be collected in the case of special practice. 9. Respondents to my survey say that the field experience is necessary so that professional librarians can connect theory and practice. 10. They also indicate that there are some problems in library practice education: administrative difficulties in the department chairman's office, the burden on professors in the library being used, and the limited number of libraries in which the field work is practicable. 11. The Department of Library Science is responsible primarily for providing faculty supervision over the students, and secondarily for the preparation of evaluation cards and field work reports. 12. Most of the faculty respondents use evaluation cards for the field work, some of which serve as grade sheets, some as field work diaries, and some as field work reports.

이 연구의 목적은 북미의 iSchool 대학들의 교육과정의 특징을 파악하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 해당지역 17개 iSchool 대학 집단과 동일한 수의 L-School 대학 집단을 선정하였다. 해당 대학의 대학원 개설 교과목 정보는 주로 해당 대학 공식 웹사이트와 전자메일 문의를 통하여 이루어졌다. 수집된 교과목은 8개 영역으로 분류하여 분석하고, 아울러 L-School 대학 집단과 비교분석도 실시하였다. 분석도구로는 SPSS 19.0을 사용하였고, 두 집단 차이분석을 위해서 독립표본 t-검정을 실시하였다. iSchool 대학 집단의 개설 교과목 비율을 분석한 결과 '정보학', '실습연구', '도서관정보센터경영' 영역이 높은 순위를 보였고, L-School 대학 집단의 개설 교과목 영역과 차이분석을 한 결과에서는 '문헌정보학일반' 영역은 더 낮게, '정보학', '도서관정보센터경영학', '실습연구' 영역은 더 높게 나타났다.

본 연구는 학부생의 현장실습의 어려움과 실습기관 실무자들의 인턴생 교육의 부담 등의 문제를 최대한 줄일 수 있는 직무관찰식 인턴쉽을 시행하고 인턴생들이 인식하는 효과성과 문제점을 진단하는 실험 사례연구이다. 제안된 두 가지 연구문제에 따라 인턴쉽의 효과와 진로성숙도의 변화를 분석한 결과, 직무관찰식 인턴쉽의 효과에 대한 학생인식(수강자의 71%)은 긍정적으로 확인되었고 반면, 인턴쉽 경험이 진로성숙도에 주는 영향은 시행 전후 차이로 분석되었으나 통계적 유의성은 미비한 것으로 진단되었다. 사례연구를 통해 알 수 있는 주요 내용은 첫째, 직무관찰 인턴쉽 실습은 담당교수로부터 사전에 체계적인 인턴쉽 교육과 철저한 오리엔테이션이 우선되어야 하며, 둘째, 실습기관 실무자의 현장수요가 반영된 인턴 실습 지침이 마련되어야 PEP의 효과를 기대할 수 있으며, 마지막으로 전문가 양성을 위한 전공교육으로서의 인턴쉽 실습의 효과성을 지속적으로 개선할 수 있는 측정도구 개발이 필요하다는 것이다.

본 연구는 미국의 문헌정보학 대학원에서 이루어지고 있는 기록관리교육 프로그램을 분석함으로써 한국의 기록관리학 교과과정개발에 필요한 요소를 찾아내고자 하였다. 웹사이트 분석과 문헌연구를 통하여 기록관리교육이 이루어지고 있는 문헌정보학 대학원의 소속 및 명칭 학위 명칭 및 과정, 이수학점, 필수과목과 선택과목, 실습, 연구, 시설, SAA지침서를 비교하였다. 미국에서 기록관리교육이 중점적으로 이루어지고 있는 문헌정보학 대학원은 많지 않았으며 SAA 지침서에서 제시한 기록관리지식을 모두 반영하지 못하는 대학원이 대부분이었다. 이는 기록관리학이 문헌정보학 대학원 안에서 이루어지는 특성화 프로그램의 한계로 볼 수 있었다. 기록관리학의 핵심 교과과정은 역사와 기록물 보존, 기록물과 레코드경영, 정보 기술, 경영원칙, 실무 경험, 연구와 석사학위 논문으로 정리할 수 있었으며 교육 기관과 현장이 함께 많은 연구와 대화를 나눔으로써 이러한 요소를 중심으로 한 기록관리 분야의 교육이 제대로 이루어질 수 있을 것이다.
