Th~ss tud is to recommend a suggestion to adapt and expand the class 200 Religon for Korean libraries using DDC. In this study, we propose a model for constructing a producer-centered self-publishing repository for the personal digital records and three operational process for practical application of the operational model. 1) As essential requirements for constructing a DSpace-based self-publishing repository, we propose producer-centered service provision, management subject, operation and management plan, how to activate the repository of digital personal records producers, copyright issues, development and dissemination process. 2) The repository model constructs a producer-centered circular structure considering these requirements. 3) Through a repository model with multiple agencies, it provides various services such as content distribution, keyword search, usage statistics, recommendation system, and open access to portal users and electronic publishers as well as individual users.

This research was conducted to evaluate whether knowledge and information resources produced in four educational institutions function as a knowledge management system in the institutions, and to suggest a proposed plan for the foundation of the national knowledge management system. Knowledge and information resources available on the institutes' websites were classified as 'knowledge and information resources of result', 'knowledge and information resources of process', and 'knowledge and information resources of communication'. The application of metadata and the configuration of the search system were examined by content analysis method. From the result, 8 ways to improve the management of knowledge and information resources have been found; the development of standardized metadata and classification scheme, high recognition that the website is a counter for external distribution of knowledge and information resources, various searching skills and the provision of knowledge maps available, provision of linked information for original information acquisition, awareness of the agency managers and homepage managers to the homepages as knowledge management systems, segmentation of appropriate data size unit in a mobile environment work, an organic linkage function of the internal electronic approval system and the homepage have been proposed.

This research presents research trends of records and archives management in korea and future development plan by analyzing the distribution of the thesis of the records and archives management journals in Korea according to subjects, issue periods, journals and researchers. The summary of the research is as follows. First, the core subjects of records and archives management research in Korea have been identified as law, establishment/policy, preservation and electronic records management, and it has been identified that the subject fields have come diverse thanks to the establishment of Public Records Management Act. Second, it has been proved that the productivity of research thesis of records and archives management in Korea increases as time goes by, and, especially, it improved by a big margin during 1997-2001. Third, the subjects of records and archives management are generally comprehensive, although there are differences in the subject fields among the thesis that have been researched.

As the major developed countries of the world have realized the importance of common information and its utilization, they have begun to seek a plan that will facilitate manipulation of common information. Despite development of the National R&D activities and its quantitative increase in Korea, its practical use still remains at a lower level. Therefore, it is worthwhile to analyze practical use and economic contribution in order to achieve higher profits. There are two purposes of this study. The first purpose is to draw a conclusion by analyzing the practical uses of the National R&D Reports, and the second purpose is to evaluate economic contributions by the National R&D Reports. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, literature review, survey, focus group interview, and experts' consultation were conducted as a way to deepen research, simultaneously comprising the quantitative and qualitative methods.

The intangible cultural heritage possesses the extremely important meaning and value irrespective of its form. The value of the intangible cultural heritage becomes the important driving force in the social development as useful resources of reflecting social aspects and historical records that the life and tradition of past is delivered. Hence, this study aims to propose the method to manage and provide of the intangible cultural heritage syntagmatically from the digital aspect. For this the plan, the study compared and analyzed the current status of digital archiving of intangible cultural heritage. Consequently, based on the analysis, policy based on cultural governance and standardized management factors were developed. The method to materialize digital contents was developed for constructing digital archives and utilization of intangible cultural heritage can be facilitated.

This study aims to develop the records management standard table of the college of education through mapping transaction and records folder based on identifying the problems of the college of education. For these purpose, the study analyzed the records classification system of the all college of education. And then, drew out the business transaction items for records management standard table of the college of education based on the records management standard table of the local governments. Consequently, based on analysis, this study developed the records management standard table and suggested efficient management plan to apply Business Reference Model(BRM) to the college of education in 2017.

The purpose of this study is to develop a media literacy education model that helps public librarians plan and operate media literacy education programs in South Korea. To develop the model, a mixed methods study consisting of a literature review, a survey of librarians, and interviews with professors, public librarians, and media literacy instructors was conducted, Additionally, an expert advisory committee was formed and consulted to obtain opinions on the developed model. As a result of survey and interviews, public libraries and librarians are perceived to have a responsibility to improve citizens' media literacy, and public libraries are recognized as the best educational institution to achieve that goal. By reflecting on the literature review and analysis of the research findings, the research team developed, and presents herein, a media literacy education model that includes educational objectives, core competencies, educational targets, media types, and roles and functions for each educational subject.

COVID-19 has been affecting the library, not to mention society as a whole. Especially, there are many changes in the role and service of the university libraries as all the classes of the universities are turned into non-face-to-face and the use of the university libraries is restricted. The changes in users' use of information and communication behavior due to COVID-19 could be an opportunity for new utilization of human and material resources the university libraries have and for the development of services. However, on the contrary, the university libraries could face another crisis if they fail to respond appropriately to current changes. Therefore, it is necessary to grasp, analyze the impact of COVID-19 and plan how to respond. A survey on the effects of COVID-19 and the response of the university libraries and the perceptions of the university libraries found that most university libraries are responding appropriately to COVID-19. However, a survey on the perceptions of the present and future of the university libraries under COVID-19 showed that many survey respondents think COVID-19 would have a negative impact on the university libraries. This means that the changes caused by COVID-19 are causing a crisis and anxiety in the university libraries. Therefore, by working hard together, the university libraries need to present the university libraries' new role, service and direction in the post-COVID-19 era as well as responding to the current situation.

The purpose of this study is to propose a book recommendation system that can be used in school libraries. The book recommendation system applies an algorithm based on association rules using DLS lending data and is designed to provide personalized book recommendation services to school library users. For this purpose, association rules based on the Apriori algorithm and betweenness centrality analysis were applied and detailed functions such as descriptive statistics, generation of association rules, student-centered recommendation, and book-centered recommendation were materialized. Subsequently, opinions on the use of the book recommendation system were investigated through in-depth interviews with teacher librarians. As a result of the investigation, opinions on the necessity and difficulty of book recommendation, student responses, differences from existing recommendation methods, utilization methods, and improvements were confirmed and based on this, the following discussions were proposed. First, it is necessary to provide long-term lending data to understand the characteristics of each school. Second, it is necessary to discuss the data integration plan by region or school characteristics. Third, It is necessary to establish a book recommendation system provided by the Comprehensive Support System for Reading Education. Based on the contents proposed in this study, it is expected that various discussions will be made on the application of a personalization recommendation system that can be used in the school library in the future.
