Using and increasing the smart devices got many changes for social environment. Especially, many researchers have studied application using smart devices for improving the learning performance in education. However, Liberal Arts of Humanities has very difficult to apply to information and communication technology cause of traditional study pattern and unit characteristic. In this paper, we suggest a method to apply the Liberal Arts of Humanities to digital broadcasting and to improve learning performance. For this study, we propose a method to making smart contents and connecting them for Liberal Arts of Humanities. And also, we propose a method for applying them to digital broadcasting in order to proof the learning performance increasing by questionary, and shows the application possibility.

Over the last half-century, computer science has revolutionarily changed the landscape of humanities research. This digital shift in research methodology has reached from the brainstorming process to preserving, constructing, collecting, visualizing, and even analyzing materials. Such transformation has brought about the birth of the new field of study: Digital Humanities (DH). DH undeniably has saved much of the physical chores and provided a new angle to interpret the text, thereby making its meteoric rise as a promising future of the humanities. Based on such innovation, electronic circuitry can seem to replace the imagination that detects relationships and significances of research data with ever-improving interfaces. However, despite hitherto technological development, the thousands-year-old essence of traditional liberal arts-human creativity-remains the heart of humanities research and always will. This paper starts by proving this proposition in the way of comparing the old and new liberal arts research methods, focusing on literary studies. Meanwhile, it thoroughly investigates how digitalized bibliographies, search engines, databases, and digital projects provide the most useful data preservation and virtual experience of browsing in the library, along with their limitations due to the intrinsic quality of humanities research data. Also, it probes the differences between traditional and digital data analysis in current methods of literary studies, ultimately presenting the ideal direction for humanities development in the era of digital convergence.

In this paper, we try to criticize a bias that liberal arts are not practical. First, I introduce holistic models of knowledge and constructivism in education. Second, I suggest 'linguistic turn' as another noticeable phenomenon. Language is an element of culture, but a priviledged one because culture, in itself, is linguistic. So culture is a sort of a text. We can see that liberal arts or humanities to deal with texts, contexts and languages can have an important role to read, understand and construct a world. So the rediscovery of the traditional model of the education of liberal arts like processes of graduating studies of liberal arts or humanities, is relevant to a new 'practical' model of reading and leading recent social transformations. An important point is academic contribution. And current situation called 'Knowledge-Based Society' also supports my point in another way. The situation of rapidly changing knowledge requires an education of problem-solving ability by unifying and reconstructing knowledge supporting with constructivism in education rather than the cramming system of education.

Education emphasizes problem-solving skills based on convergent thinking power in an era of rising uncertainty and rapid progress. This paper proactively designed e-Learning team teaching convergence liberal arts courses for prospective teachers by these social needs. It analyzed the empirical effects on the operation of the subjects to foster future talent who can converge and apply knowledge in various fields. The curriculum consisted of professors of mathematics, practical Arts, computer, and education, and was operated to convey convergent knowledge of information technology and humanities, and consisted of 15 liberal arts courses at J University. Besides, textbooks and teaching materials were also developed by the faculty. As a result of the primary research, prospective teachers who took the course generally showed high satisfaction with the class, especially for the faculty. The students' overall convergent thinking ability has increased to a statistically significant level (p<.01), and the students' major has been found to be irrelevant. On the other hand, it can be seen that communication, content convergence, and caring factors, excluding creativity factor, have all risen to a significant level.

Recently, the topics of SW liberal-arts education are diversifying, from 'Computational Thinking(CT)' to 'Programming, Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence(AI)' in universities. We expect that the diversification of SW liberal-arts subjects does not just mean that the learning contents are different, but also differentiates the educational goals and educational effects of each subject. In this paper, we conducted a case study to analyze the educational effect according to the educational goals of two SW liberal-arts subjects, CT and Data Analysis Fundamentals(DA), for humanities college students. We confirmed that the educational effect of 'CT Efficacy' increased significantly in accordance with the common educational goal of 'Improving CT-based SW convergence competency' in both subjects. However, we also analyzed the difference in the educational effects of 'CT(the goal of basic SW education)' and 'DA(the goal of major-friendly SW education)', which have different subject goals. 'CT' mainly showed an educational effect on how to solve general daily problems, and 'DA' showed confidence in how to solve major problems along with general problems.

In this study, we examined the satisfaction level of J university's compulsory liberal arts subject with quantitative research. The results quantitative research are as follows. First, men are more interested in creative thinking, college life guidance and career path design than girls. Second, the level of satisfaction with the required liberal arts subject by grade was found to be without a statistical significant difference. Third, the satisfaction level of each line of learning was shown in the order of natural engineering, health and welfare, physical fitness, and humanities. The satisfaction level of the lines of learning was found to vary. Fourth, The satisfaction level of each campus was found to vary. The results of this study could be used as basic data to improve the college liberal arts curriculum, especially the compulsory liberal arts curriculum. This study aims to provide a science history content system necessary in the course design process of liberal arts subjects, along with the application of flip learning in liberal arts science classes for humanities and social sciences students. For the research, we analyzed the current state of the liberal arts and history of science classes at universities. Then we developed the 'Understanding the History of Science' subject by applying the flip learning method through the analysis of various previous studies. As the goal of science history lectures that can reach the essential purposes of science liberal arts education, including knowledge acquisition and strengthening various competencies, scientific attitude cultivation was set, and the content system of week 15 was designed to consider this. The four topics corresponding to the "History of Science" part of the "Understanding Science History" content system consisted of flipped learning classes and teaching and learning activities, including online video materials and group discussion activities. As a result of opening courses for students in the humanities and social sciences and operating classes for 56 college students, it was confirmed that students' interest and awareness of science increased. This study provides educational evidence for science history and liberal arts education.

This study propose to develop artificial intelligence liberal arts courses for college students in the humanities and social sciences majors using the entry artificial intelligence model. A group of experts in computer, artificial intelligence, and pedagogy was formed, and the final artificial intelligence liberal arts course was developed using previous research analysis and Delphi techniques. As a result of the study, the educational topics were largely composed of four categories: image classification, image recognition, text classification, and sound classification. The training consisted of 1) Understanding the principles of artificial intelligence, 2) Practice using the entry artificial intelligence model, 3) Identifying the Ethical Impact, and 4) Based on learned, team idea meeting to solve real-life problems. Through this course, understanding the principles of the core technology of artificial intelligence can be directly implemented through the entry artificial intelligence model, and furthermore, based on the experience of solving various real-life problems with artificial intelligence, and it can be expected to contribute positively to understanding technology, exploring the ethics needed in the artificial intelligence era.

Purpose of study: The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of the role of Christian liberal arts education in university liberal arts education in the 21st century. Research content and method: It examines how liberal arts education has changed with the times, and examines the modern significance of the role of liberal arts education that is requested today. In the rapidly changing reality of the 21st century, the role of liberal arts education, which was neglected by focusing on major-centered professional education, has become important. The need for creative and integrated thinking skills to create and apply new knowledge on their own has been highlighted. Liberal arts education and Christianity have a common denominator, and they can produce richer fruits through mutual communication. Religious literacy is the ability to identify and analyze the fundamental intersection between religion and social, political, and cultural life through various lenses. It can be said that it is the culture that must be equipped as a democratic citizen living in the 21st century. Understanding religion is the most important humanities and culture. Through the cultivation of religious literacy, it will be possible to develop thinking skills and insights to view the relationship between Christianity and various fields of life as a whole. Conclusions and Suggestions: Through this study, the need for religious literacy was expressed, and the direction of Christian liberal arts education requested in this era was sought. Christian liberal arts education that fosters religious literacy is proposed as a way to handle the role of a holistic leader of public society by aiming for convergent thinking and promoting public responsibility.

In this paper, we evaluated educational effects of H-STEAM group play contents(a course) and tried to suggest a convergent model for college liberal art curriculum. We opened a mixed course(math, art, engineering, and humanities) with team teaching for this purpose. For the test, we collected data from survey, K-W-L sheet, and reflection paper from 23 students who enrolled in this course. Students should do a team project during the course, propose a new group game, and write K-W-L sheet at the end of each session and reflection paper at the final stage. As a result, it is said that H-STEAM group contents had an effect on students' satisfaction and achievement. During the course, students made academic efforts and were able to construct convergent knowledge from the four fields. From this study, we are sure that H-STEAM contents can play a substitute role for the traditional liberal arts program and innovate the curriculum for the knowledge convergence society.
