There was a difference in recognition of chemical substances according to cognitive level of GHS, knowledge level of organic solvents and each department of workers. they were showed higher recognition of chemical substances by research group, partially group and good group. To identify the relationship between types of job classification(group of department, group of GHS cognitive level and group of organic solvents knowledge level) and the levels of recognition of chemical substances, a total of 153 workers in a small and medium business workplace. Descriptive statistics(SAS ver 9.2)was performed. the results of recognition of chemical substances were analyzed the mean and standard deviation by t-test, and anova, (P=0.05). These results In general, small- and medium-sized workplaces have low levels of GHS awareness and organic solvents knowledge. The perception of chemical substances according to the departments. In general, the demand for chemical substances education was highly suggested regardless of the job type. There was a significant difference in the perception of health, safety and practice according to the level of GHS cognitive, and a high perception in the incomplete group. There was not much difference in average awareness of health, safety and practice according to organic solvents knowledge level, but there was a high perception in good group. It is very important to regularly check the worker's perception of the workplace and identify problems with the work environment and improve the work environment. In addition, each department presents appropriate safety and health education such as chemical process safety, toxicity of chemical substances and human exposure. We also propose a chemical substances assessment and management plan that integrates safety and health.
Objectives: Limited research has investigated the specific needs of patients with cancer. This study was performed to explore patients needs and the related factors. Methods: The data were collected by 1 National Cancer Center and 9 regional cancer centers in Korea. An interview survey was performed with using a structured questionnaire for the subjects(2661 patients who gave written informed consent to particiate) survey 4 months after diagnosis and review of medical records. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. Results: When comparing the relating factors related with patient needs to the sociodemographic characteristics, the female group showed a higher level of recognition for physical symptoms, social support needs. The younger group showed a significantly higher level of recognition for health care staff, psychological problems, information and education, social support, hospital services needs. In addition, the higher educated group showed a higher level of recognition for health care staff, physical symptoms, social support needs. The higher income and office workers group showed a higher level of recognition for hospital services needs. When comparing the relating factors related with patient needs to the cancer, the breast cancer group showed a higher level of recognition for all needs excluding physical symptoms, accessibility and financial support needs. The combined radiotherapy with surgery and chemotherapy group showed a higher level of recognition for psychological problems, information and education, social support needs. Conclusions: This study showed that needs on patient with cancer was significantly influenced by female, higher educagion, lower income, having religion, office worker, liver cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, chemotherapy, and combined therapy.
This study present s and tests a casual model of cohesion adaptability the level of stress recognition coping starategies and quality of life for employed wives and unemployed wives. For the data set 205 employed wives and 200 unemployed wives living in Pusan were chosen. The data were analyzed using M, SD, t-test multiple regression and path analysis. The findings of this study are as follows; First There level of stress recognition and quality of life are higher for employes wives than unemployed wives. Cohesion is higher for employed wives. Whereas adaptability is higher for unemployed wives than employed wives. Employes wives are greater use of coping starategies than unemployed wives. Second For employes wives adaptability the level of stress recognition and coping starategies have significant direct effect on quality of life. Besides wife's level of education age of the youngest child working hours employment motivation and cohesion have significant indirect effect on quality of life. For unemployed wives cohesion adaptability and level of stress recognition have signficant direct effect on quality of life. Besides wife's level of education number of children religion and husband's housework participation are indirectly associated with quality of life. From these results the proposed model is generally supported by the data.

Objectives: This study aims to analyze recognition and problems of in Daegu local college students on sexual violence and figure out major factors to prevent sexual violence and to use as necessary basic resources for the improvement of individual and social recognition and effective sexual education. Methods: The Data from 255 students (85%) out of 300 excluding questionnaires with insufficient answers were under analysis using Excel Program and SPSS Win 17.0 for cross-tabulations and correlation analysis. Significance test were performed using $x^2$-test. Results: 1) As to recognition of sexual violence by gender, 88.2%(60) of male and 91.4%(171) of female students conceived the current sexual violence level is hazardous which shows female students had slightly higher recognition. 2) As to recognition of sexual education by gender, both conceived it for equipping proper value system of sex(55.9% of male & 61.5% of female student). 3) As to prevention and coping with sexual violence by gender, 58.8% of male students and 65.2% of female students answered that prevention is possible. 4) As to the correlation between sexual violence factors, it showed positive (+) correlation in the experience of sexual education and the recognition of sexual violence level, in the recognition of sexual violence level and the recognition of sexual violence responsible scope, and in the possibility of sexual violence prevention and the recognition of sexual crime prevention law. 5) As to the recognition and measurement by experience of sexual education, among those who answered the current sexual violence level was hazardous 91.8% had previous sexual education experience and 83.3% had no experience. 6) As to the recognition and measurement of sexual violence by experience of sexual violence (self-determination), those with sexual education experience (79.8%) had little experience in sexual violence than those with not (91.6%). 7) As to the recognition and measurement of sexual violence by the possibility of preventing sexual violence, it showed statistically significant difference in the reason of increase of sexual violence(p<0.01). Conclusions: Accordingly, to provide systematic and sustainable sexual education, individualized education considering gender, individual development rather than standardized group education in its teaching method is necessary, and follow-up evaluation and feed-back system should be implemented to assess achievement and recognition of sexual education.
Purpose: This study is to investigate the effect of nurse's competency empowerment and boss' job competency recognition on work performance. Methods: 216 nurses participated for data collection which was conducted from September 1, 2011 to September 10, 2011. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 16.0 and with frequency test, ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ test and Multiple regression. Results: Firstly, the work performance in accordance with subject's general characteristics was found to be significant in the 50s, graduate school or higher education, Roman Catholic, charge nurse and 21-years or older. Secondly, the correlation among nurse's competency empowerment, boss' competency recognition and work performance was found to be positively related (r=.501~.639, p<.001). Thirdly, competency empowerment was found to be the most effective factor for work performance, followed by boss' competency recognition and career year, and these factors accounted for 63.5%. Conclusion: As the results show that the work performance is highly affected by the nurse's competency empowerment, boss' competency recognition level and career level in clinical environment, effective education programs are required to provide an appropriate experience to both entry-level and experienced nurses, as well as to enhance boss' competency empowerment at the same time.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the level of stress recognition of urban housewife and the method of coping, and to explore bow these factors are influenced by socio-demographic variables such as the age of housewife, level of education, status of employment, number of children, durations of marriage, types of family, religion and socio-economic status. The research was conducted on 431 housewives in Seoul in August, 1985. As for the measurement of the instrument, 48 item questionnaire made by investigator was used. The questionnaire was based upon modified and upplemented Holme & Rahe's SRRS and Bell's 18-item Questionnaire to be appropriate to Korean culture. Data were analyzed by percentage, frequency and mean, and verified significant difference by ANOVA and performed Spearman's correlation coefficient. The results of this study are as follows; 1) There is some similarity in distribution of the level of stress recognition of urban housewife. 2) the level of education and the durations of marriage have influence upon the level of stress recognition of urban housewife. In each area, there are differences among groups : age, level of education, durations of marriage, number of children and types of family in the area of education ; age, status of employment, and durations of marriage in the area of health; level of education, durations of marriage, number of children and socio-economic status in the area of finance; status of employment in the area of household work. 3) There are several methods in the method of coping to stress of housewife and the score of long-term coping method appears higher than that of short-term. 4) The level of education, number of children, religion and socio-economic status were variables to have influence on the method level of education, religion and socio- economic status were variables to have influence and in the long-term coping method level of education, number of children, religion, and socio-economic status were to have influence. 5) There is very low positive correlation between the level of stress recognition of urban housewife and the method of coping to stress( ρ=.10, P<.05). 6)In the relation between several variables in socio-demographic variables and the method to coping to stress, the lower the level of stress recognition there are negative correlation (ρ=-.28, P<.01) between religion and the method of coping and also negative correlation (ρ=-.16, P<.05) between number of children and the method of coping. There are positive correlation between socio-economic status and the method of coping.

In the field of speech recognition, the research area can be classified into the following two categories: one which is concerned with the development of phoneme-level recognition system, the other with the efficiency of word-level recognition system. The resonable phoneme-level recognition system should detect the phonemic boundaries appropriately and have the improved recognition abilities all the more. The traditional LPC methods detect the phoneme boundaries using Itakura-Saito method which measures the distance between LPC of the standard phoneme data and that of the target speech frame. The MFCC methods which treat spectral transitions as the phonemic boundaries show the lack of adaptability. In this paper, we present new speech recognition system which uses auto-correlation method in the phonemic boundary detection process and the multi-layered Feed-Forward neural network in the recognition process respectively. The proposed system outperforms the traditional methods in the sense of adaptability and another advantage of the proposed system is that feature-extraction part is independent of the recognition process. The results show that frame-unit phonemic recognition system should be possibly implemented.
The purpose of this study was to see the effects of pitch and length patterns on spoken word recognition. In Experiment 1, a syllable monitoring task was used to see the effects of pitch and length on the pre-lexical level of spoken word recognition. For both Seoul dialect speakers and Daegu dialect speakers, pitch and length did not affect the syllable detection processes. This result implies that there is little effect of pitch and length in pre-lexical processing. In Experiment 2, a lexical decision task was used to see the effect of pitch and length on the lexical access level of spoken word recognition. In this experiment, word frequency (low and high) as well as pitch and length was manipulated. The results showed that pitch and length information did not play an important role for Seoul dialect speakers, but that it did affect lexical decision processing for Daegu dialect speakers. Pitch and length seem to affect lexical access during the word recognition process of Daegu dialect speakers.
This paper attempted to analyze the correlation between the risk image of the evacuees in the tunnel and the variables that affect the evacuation behavior due to the closed feeling. As to whether there is a difference in the level of recognizing the tunnel risk image according to the distribution of jobs, the null hypothesis was rejected at the significance probability of 0.002, so it can be said that the level of recognition of the tunnel risk image varies depending on the job group. In the distribution difference between gender and tunnel risk image recognition level, the significance probability was 0.012, indicating that the null hypothesis was rejected, indicating that the tunnel risk recognition distribution according to gender was different. As a result of analyzing the distribution difference between the tunnel's closed feeling and the tunnel risk perception level, the significance probability was 0.001, and the null hypothesis was rejected, indicating that there was a difference in the tunnel risk image level.
Automatic container code recognition from a captured image is used for tracking and monitoring containers, but often fails when the code is not captured clearly. In this paper, we increase the accuracy of container code recognition using multiple views. A character-level integration method combines recognized codes from different single views to generate a new code. A decision-level integration selects the most probable results from the codes from single views and the new integrated code. The experiment confirmed that the proposed integration works successfully. The recognition from single views achieved an accuracy of around 70% for the test images collected on a working pier, whereas the proposed integration method showed an accuracy of 96%.
