An in-line phase-shifting digital holographic microscopy system was constructed by inserting a conventional microscope in the object arm of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer. It was used to measure the three dimensional shape of a micro Fresnel lens. It was also shown that both the lateral and the axial resolutions of the in-line phase-shifting system using a self-calibration algorithm were superior to those of the best off-axis system.
In this study, an optical system for a lens-shifting method that compensates for microvibration of a high-agility small satellite has been designed. The lens-shifting method is an image-stabilization technique that can be applied to compensate for the optical path disturbed by microvibration. The target optical system is designed by using Code-V, a commercial optical-design code. The specifications for real satellite cameras have established the requirements for optical design. The Ray aberration curve, spot diagram, and MTF curve were carried out to verify if the designed optical system meets the requirements or not. The designed Schmidt-Cassegrain optical system with field flattener and a vibration-reduction lens has been verified to meet the optical requirements, 33% of MTF at Nyquist frequency, GSD of 2.87 m, and vibration coefficient of 0.95~1.0.

We propose a method synthesizing elemental images and sub-images for the integral imaging using phase-shifting digital holography. From acquired single 4-step phase-shifting digital holography, we can generate elemental images and sub-images for any lens array specifications.
We propose a method generating elemental images for the integral imaging using 4-step phaseshifting digital holography. Phase shifting digital holography is a way recording the digital hologram by changing the phase of the reference beam and extracting the complex field of the object beam. Since all 3D information is captured by phase-shifting digital holography, the elemental images for any specifications of the lens array can be generated from single phase-shifting digital holography. In experiment, phase-shifting is achieved by rotating half- and quarter- wave plates and the resultant interference patterns are captured by a $3272{\times}2469$ pixel CCD camera with $27{\mu}m{\times}27{\mu}m$ pixel size.

We propose the Fizeau-type phase shifting interferometer(FPSI) system for the performance test of high-order aspheric lenses. The proposed system is divided into two parts : optical part and signal processing part. Those two parts are operated by a program for hardware control. We also developed an analysis program adopting the phase shifting algorithm to analyze the obtained interferograms. We can confirm that the proposed system is efficient and adequate by direct comparison with the standard criterion in Mark IV interferometric system of Zygo. The peak-to-valley and RMS values of surface errors which are used to characterize high-order aspheric lenses are 0.845 wave and 0.1871 wave, respectively. The measurement errors between the proposed system and Mark IV are less than ${\lambda}/100$ and the repeatability is also calculated at less than ${\lambda}/100$.

The need for rapid and accurate measurement of 3-dimensional objects is increasing due to the paradigmatic shift in manufacturing from mass production to small batch production. A three dimensional measurement technique which can provide the dimensional information of the object manufactured or to be manufactured has been developed. This method is based on phase shifting moire topology. Digital-Micromirror-Device (DMD) has been used in generating phase shifting moire fringes. And the mechanically moving optical components used for phase shifting, which might result in measurement errors, have been replaced by the DMD. Inherent $2\pi$-ambiguity problem, occurring in the calculation of phase from the light intensity distribution due to the nature of arctangent function, has been overcome by adapting the phase unwrapping method. The advantage of this technique is the easy change of the range and the resolution of the measurement by simply changing the computer generated grid pattern with the appropriate combination of projection lens of various focal length.

Generally, When we measure of object 3D surfaces with phase shifting shadow moire method, it is use of optical system consist of light source, grating, and ccd camera. At this time, it is important parameter that vertical distance of grating and camera, grating and light source, and horizontal distance of camera and light source. When use camera consist of complex lens vertical distance of grating and camera is unknown parameter. From this cause equivalent wave length of moire fringe is uncertain. In this study, We exactly obtain a vertical distance of grating and camera so improve on measurement accuracy.

In this paper, we use multi-point sources to illuminate the sample in digital holographic microscopy. The resolution of digital holographic microscopy is enhanced without shifting the CCD camera. The specimen is illuminated from many directions by using multi-point sources which are easily created by a lens-array. The high frequency information of specimen can be captured at a fixed position of CCD camera. All information is then synthesized to increase the resolution.
This paper discusses about the mechanism of catching an image through an optical manipulation of each organizations in the eye, more specifically, mechanism of catching an image on a retina through a Camera and a Crystal Lens. In the retina, the macula roles as a fovea contrails and it leads the image which is about 3 mm to be shaped on there. However, even the macula may not properly function, our eyes still can catch the image by shifting the optical path to around of the macula, even if the sensitivity of the image is generally lower than the image on the macula. This paper proposes a method of shifting the shaped image on the retina by refracting the optical path through a prism located on the rear of a screen which consists of a 0.7' TFT LCD. Applying this method that throwing an image around on the macula, central visual disturbance patients among retinitis pimentos patients can expect to recover such a mechanism to catch an image.
