All of the commercial silkworm races spread to farmhouses are hybrid of first generation, therefore distinction of sex of parent races is essential. But the existing sexual method which distinguish sex by outer sexual characteristics have many problems such as need of skilled worker and excessive efforts for distinction of sex. So more simple and accurate method fur distinction of sex is needed. (omitted)

A two-dimensional numerical experiment and field observations were conducted to evaluate changes in sea water movement and the water quality environment related to comprehensive projects of waterfront development around Kwangyang Bay on the south coast of Korea. Tidal flow velocities, especially in the western part of the bay, were considerably slower as a result of the development projects. Accordingly, the seawater exchange ratio reduced from 38.7% to 26.3%. The impact of dredging work on the water quality environment was much stronger than expected. Furthermore, after the completion of the industrial parks and container-exclusive wharfs, COD from the waste water treatment plant will be dispersed extensively into the adjacent water at a level of less than 0.1 mg/l for up to 142.5 $\textrm{km}^2$. Therefore, consistent monitoring and management of the water quality environment is strongly recommended.

In this study, the performance of the DPRMs is evaluated and the measurement precision for the pile driving is presented. The DPRMs is a visual-measurement system for the pile rebound and the penetration movement using a high speed line-scan camera. But the measurement errors of the DPRMs are caused by the strong impact for the pile driving. Therefore, the DPRMs should guarantee its measurement values for the pile driving. For this reason, the performance of the DPRMs by the vibration signal analysis is studied. It is found from this study that the measurement values of the DPRMs are reliable.

2003년 $\ulcorner$국토의계획및이용에관한법률$\lrcorner$이 제정되면서 합리적인 토지이용을 유도하기 위해 시행되고 있는 토지적성평가제도는 토지의 공간 입지적 특성, 활용가능성, 주변 개발 여건 등을 고려하여 토지의 용도 구분을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 토지적성평가 데이터베이스의 주제도로부터 자료취득 시기의 불일치, 지적 불부합, 지적공부상의 등록 오류 등 토지적성평가 기초자료의 구축 오류를 도출하고, 다양한 공간영상정보자료 즉, 고해상위성영상이나 항공영상, 현장의 촬영영상 등과 구축된 벡터기반의 각종 주제도들을 비교 검증함으로써 토지적성평가체계의 DB 정확도를 향상시키고 평가결과의 신뢰성을 확보하는 데 그 목적을 두고 있다.

This paper proposes a new operation algorithm for elevator by considering both better service for passengers and minimization of energy consumption for elevator operation. The main idea of the proposed operation algorithm is based on the assumption that passengers push the numbered buttons indicating their destination, one of the main differences of proposed operation mode from the conventional one is that the elevator may move to the opposite direction for a few floors according to the rescheduled operational pattern determined by some factors. Some examples by computer simulation show the efficiency of the proposed operation algorithm.
