Actuator-induced disturbance is one of the crucial factors of spacecraft attitude pointing and stability in fine attitude control problems. The control moment gyros (CMGs) are known as very attractive actuators from the point of high power and low weight. In order to develop a CMG as an actuator for fine controls, CMG-induced disturbances should be analyzed. Therefore, this paper aims to develop an analytic model and predict the effect of disturbances of CMGs by assuming static and dynamic imbalances. The proposed model is induced by the Lagrangian method on the basis of the small signal assumption.

Purpose - This paper examines the value relevance of socially responsible activities in the Korean retail firms. Recent studies predict positive relationships between socially responsible activities and the value of corporation. Research design, data, and methodology - We use the environmental score, social score, governance score and the sum of these three scores to represent a fim's effectiveness of socially responsible activities. These scores are published by the Korean Corporate Governance Service. This paper adopts a share price valuation model to evaluate the effect of socially responsible activities on a firm's share price, which controls for the book value of assets and current earnings. The ordinary least square method is employed to examine the relationship. The sample of Korea retail firms is examined from 2011 to 2016. We also conduct sub-sample analysis based on the categorization of chaebol affiliates and non-chaebol affiliates. Results - The entire sample analysis finds neither negatively nor positively significant relationship between socially responsible activities and the value of a corporation. In contrast, our examinations find a significantly positive valuation effect of social score within non-chaebol retail firms. Conclusions - The results weakly support the positive valuation effect of socially responsible activities. The results are consistent with recent studies that highlight heterogeneous effects of socially responsible activities on corporate policies and valuation.

This paper proposed signal decomposition and multiresolution representation through wavelet transform using wavelet orthonormal basis. And it suggested most appropriate filter for scaling function in multiresoltion representation and compared two compression method, arithmetic coding and Huffman coding. Results are as follows 1. Daub18 coefficient is most appropriate in computing time, energy compaction, image quality. 2. In case of image browsing that should be small in size and good for recognition, it is reasonable to decompose to 3 scale using pyramidal algorithm. 3. For the case of progressive transmittion where requires most grateful image reconstruction from least number of sampls or reconstruction at any target rate, I embedded the data in order of significance after scaling to 5 step. 4. Medical images such as information loss is fatal have to be compressed by lossless method. As a result from compressing 5 scaled data through arithmetic coding and Huffman coding, I obtained that arithmetic coding is better than huffman coding in processing time and compression ratio. And in case of arithmetic coding I could compress to 38% to original image data.

AQ Cassiopeiae (BD+61`0242, uv=10, Sp=B3+Bg) is a totally eclipsing binary system with the obital period of about 12 days. 71 was observed for 15 nights in 1985 with the1.8-m telescope at the DAO, employing a Reticon and a three-stage image tube attached to the spectrograph. And also, photometric observations of AQ Cas had been made inUBv for six years from 1982 to 1988 at Yonsei University Observatory(YUO). This work includes UBV observations obtained at YUO as a part of The Ten-Year Observing Program(1982-1992). Double lined radial, velocity curves and Ufv light curves of AQC as are constructed. The light curves and radial velocity curves show a strong evidence of circumstellar matter or mass stream. It is clear at the phases of just outside externaleclipse contacts, particularly at phase 0.8-0.9, shown in Figures 1 and 2. A solution by combining the radial velocity and photometric curves of the binary was obtained with the Wilson-Devinney Code. We found that the system is semi-detached with the coolcomponent filling its Roche lobe. The absolute dimensions of AQ Cas are calculated. The result shows that this system consists of two massive and subgiant stars.

Rice and other corns as well as potato were mixed, as indicated in the following table, and fed to the experimental animals for 14 weeks. It was observed that the 9th and 10th dietary groups, whose protein values were higher among the experimental groups, displayed the more ideal growth and development as compared with other groups, and that the mixing ratio in these groups was proved to be better nutritionally as judged from the serum protein levels. This study examined that how the corporate social responsibilities of a social enterprise affect their image and product attitude. In particular, separating into a real self-image and social self-image, the moderate effects of the accordance of self-image were tested. The results showed that each corporate social responsibility of a social enterprise affects their image except for social image. In addition, an accordance of the real self-image moderates the effect of the corporate activity image and social contribution activity image on the product attitude.

Engine test as well as unload test of starting motor itself was performed to evaluate the braking characteristics of starting system used for initial spin-up of gas turbine for power generation. Through the experimental evaluation of the braking performance with the capacity of braking resistor of the starting motor, we have achieved quantitative data to secure robust braking characteristics in emergency during the starting period of the gas turbine. It is possible to establish a capacity selection criterion of braking resistor to ensure the starting reliability of the gas turbine.

도열병균에 의한 벼의 목 및 잎도열병에 효과가 좋은 새로운 살균제의 개발을 시도하였다. 농약으로 예상되는 몇몇 3-oxo-1, 2-benzisothiazole-1, 1-dioxide의 새로운 유도체들을 합성하고, 이들 유도체들의 도열병균 (Pyricularia oryzae)에 대한 항균성을 agar medium dilution 방법에 의해 측정하였다. 3-oxo-1, 2-benzisothiazole-1, 1-dioxide의 5 원자 고리의 3개 구조 단위중에서 가장 항균성이 큰 단위는 $R-S-C=N-SO_2-$단위이며, 3개 구조 단위의 항균성 순서는 $RS-C=N-SO_2-\;{\geq}\;RO-C=N-SO_2-\;>\;-CNR-SO_2-$였다. 30개 후보화합물 가운데서 14개의 유도체가 도열병균에 효능이 좋은 것으로 알려진 oryzemate 보다 우수한 항균성을 나타냈다.

Effects of antioxidants on the established nephropathy were investigated. The experimental nephropathy was induced in rats by intravenous injection of adriamycin (2 mg/kg). Six weeks later, when proteinuria was apparent, the rats were supplemented with N-acetylcysteine (NAC, 1 g/kg/day) in drinking water for additional 6 weeks. Glomerulosclerosis score and tubulointerstitial injury index were determined by light microscopy. Expression of transforming growth factor (TGF) ${\beta}1$ and laminin ${\beta}1$ was determined in the renal cortex by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunogold electron microscopy. The adriamycin-induced proteinuria as well as the glomerulosclerosis and tubulointerstitial injury was ameliorated by the treatment with NAC. Adriamycin increased the expression of TGF ${\beta}1$ mRNA and protein, which was ameliorated by NAC. Although the expression of laminin ${\beta}1$ mRNA was increased, adriamycin did not significantly alter that of its protein. These results indicate that antioxidants ameliorate the established nephropathy in association with normalization of overexpressed TGF ${\beta}1$.

In liquids NMR, $^{1}H$ is the most widely observed nucleus, which is not the case in solids NMR. The reason is due to the strong homo-dipolar interactions between the hydrogen atoms which mask the useful chemical shift information. Therefore we must remove the strong homo-dipolar interactions in order to get structural information, which can be investigated by the isotropic chemical shift. There are two ways of obtaining it. One is the ultra-fast MAS of ca. 70 kHz spinning speed, which has become available only recently. The other way is devising a pulse sequence which can remove the strong homo-dipolar interaction. In the latter way, MAS with a moderate spinning rate of a few kHz, is enough to remove the chemical shift anisotropy. In this report, 1D-CRAMPS and 2D MASFSLG techniques are utilized and their results will be compared. This kind of highresolution $^{1}H$ NMR for solids, should become a valuable analytical tool in the understanding and the developing of a new class of hydrogen storage materials. Here ammonium borane $-NH_{3}BH_{3}$, whose hydrogen content is high, is used as a sample.
