IPA 분석법을 활용한 비대면 동영상 강의 만족도 제고 방안 연구 (A Study on Improving the Satisfaction of Non-face-to-face Video Lectures Using IPA Analysis)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to present the direction of efficient e-learning education through the importance and satisfaction survey of learners of non-face-to-face video lectures. Therefore, by grasping the degree of satisfaction of the importance ratio through the IPA analysis method, we try to present improvement measures for insufficient education methods. Design/methodology/approach For IPA analysis, we conducted an online survey of four universities and analyzed 154 samples. The analysis method used SPSS, and through the wordcloud analysis method of R, the suggestions for the non-face-to-face lecture method felt by learners were analyzed to derive implications for improving the quality of education. Findings As a result of the overall satisfaction survey for the entire non-face-to-face class, the factors with the greatest dissatisfaction are listed as follows. Complaints about the adequacy of learning materials and activities (quiz, discussion, assignments, etc.), Complaints about how to use the produced content, and complaints about announcements about class management (lecture schedule, lecture method) were identified in order. The factors of dissatisfaction were clear in the non-face-to-face class where interactive communication was impossible or insufficient. In addition to the lack of quick Q&A, there seems to have been a phenomenon of some neglect.

BLE 기반의 비콘을 이용한 스마트 출석 확인 시스템 (Smart Attendance Checking System based on BLE using a Beacon)

  • 사물인터넷 서비스 환경에서는 사물과 인간의 활동을 추적하는 센서가 기본 요소로 포함되며, 정보를 수집하고 처리하는 매개수단으로 스마트폰이 적극 활용되고 있다. 특히, 사물인터넷 구현 시에 스마트폰에서 제공하는 무선 및 근거리통신기술은 정보 교환을 위해 꼭 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 출석정보의 확인을 자동으로 처리하여 대학 강의의 질을 향상시킬 수 있도록 비콘과 BLE 기반의 스마트 출석 확인 시스템을 제안하고 구현한다. 제안한 시스템은 강의실 출입을 자동으로 인식하기 위한 센서로 비콘을 사용하고, 학생과 교수의 스마트폰에서 제공하는 BLE 통신을 매개수단으로 사용한다. 제안한 시스템을 사용함으로써 교수는 출석확인 시간을 최소화하여 좀 더 강의에 시간을 투자할 수 있어 강의의 질을 높일 수 있는 장점이 있다.

대학강의 평가도구 개발 (Developing a Student Evaluation Instrument for College Teaching)

  • 각 대학에서는 교육의 질을 개선하기 위해 여러 형태의 강의평가를 실시하고 있다. 대학강의 평가가 수업개선에 도움이 되기 위해서는 교육환경의 변화를 반영할 필요가 있다. 대학교육이 면대면 교육과 온라인 교육을 병행하는 혼합학습 환경으로 변환함에 따라 이를 반영한 타당한 강의평가 문항 개발이 요구되어 본 연구를 수행하게 되었다. 이를 위해 대전의 C대학 재학생을 대상으로 예비검사와 본검사의 2차례에 걸친 검사문항 분석과 요인분석을 통해 이루어졌다. 1차 자료는 선행연구 분석을 통해 밝혀진 강의계획과 준비 등 10개 영역에 47문항으로 이루어진 측정도구를 가지고 수행되었다. 2차 자료는 예비검사 자료 분석을 통해 확정한 문항을 사용하여 본 검사의 타당화 과정을 수행하였다. 연구 결과 강의계획과 준비, 학습자료, 학습과제, 교수매체, 온라인 강의, 시험과 성적 등 6개 영역의 20개 문항이 도출되었다. 이 연구 결과는 대학의 강의 개선을 위해서는 다양한 대학 교육 환경을 반영한 강의평가가 이루어져야 함을 시사하고 있다.

코로나19 발생 이후 일부 지역대학 응급구조학과의 비대면 교육 현황 (Status of non-face-to-face learning at selected regional universities for paramedicine since the coronavirus infectious disease 2019 outbreak: a cross-sectional survey on undergraduates)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the current status of non-face-to-face education at universities for paramedicine and measure students' education satisfaction after the coronavirus infectious disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted for paramedic students at the Chungcheong and Honam areas using Google Forms. Convenience sampling was used. A structured questionnaire was created and modified according to Park and Choi's test tool developed to review online lectures and practical courses. Results: A total of 202 students responded to the survey. The satisfaction level of online lectures was 3.06±1.12 (n=202) out of 5. Students experiencing online lectures responded that it was difficult to focus on the class, and the overall quality and lecture delivery should be improved. They also experienced technical difficulties. The satisfaction level of practical course lectures was 3.24±1.04 (n=133) out of 5. It was higher than those of other types of classes because it was conducted by the more familiar face-to-face lecture. Conclusion: This study has shown that the universities and instructors have examined a variety of methods in paramedic education after the COVID-19 pandemic. However, further research and consideration are required to improve paramedic education during the COVID-19 pandemic.

NCS 기반 교육서비스품질이 대학생들의 학교충성도와 취업자신감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of NCS based Education Service Quality on Student's Loyalty to College and Self-confidence in Getting Job)

  • 본 연구는 NCS 기반 교육에서 교육서비스품질의 구성차원은 무엇이며, 학생충성도와 취업자신감에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 분석결과, NCS 기반 교육에서 교육서비스품질의 구성차원은 교수학습 강의, 대학명성, 교육프로그램, 학사행정서비스, 교육시설의 5가지였으며, 교육서비스품질 구성차원 중 교수학습 강의와 학사행정서비스가 직무능력에 큰 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 교육서비스품질과 직업기초능력은 학생들의 학교에 대한 충성도와 취업에 대한 자신감에 중요한 요인으로 분석되어 중요한 성과변수임이 증명되었다.

Factors affecting satisfaction with online lectures for real-time learning

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the interaction and satisfaction of with web-based lectures. In addition, it seeks identify their correlations as well as the factors that influence satisfaction. Methods: The study subjects consisted of 139 college students taking up dental hygiene from Suncheon. ANOVA, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were used on the data collected. The Cronbach's alpha for interaction and satisfaction were 0.949 and 0.921, respectively. Results: The interaction recorded was moderate compared to face-to-face lectures. In particular, interaction between students was higher among 3rd grade students compared to those in the 1st grade (p=0.002). Satisfaction with the appropriateness of lecture content and duration was high, but relatively low in terms of the quality of the lecture and the desire to broaden its scope. In particular, satisfaction was higher among students in higher grade levels than their more junior counterparts (p<0.05). It was also found to be positively correlated with interaction (p<0.01). Their respective presence on the educational platform had the greatest impact on satisfaction (β=0.495, p<0.001). Conclusions: Increased interaction results in greater levels of satisfaction. Furthermore, an improvement in the quality of the lectures and the students' perception of them would enable lectures to be conducted more effectively in situations wherein face-to-face lectures cannot be done.

IPA를 활용한 비대면 환경 화상강의 개선 방안 연구 (A study on the improvement of non-face-to-face environment video lectures using IPA)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore ways to improve the quality of real-time video lectures in a non-face-to-face environment using IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis). Recently, due to the impact of COVID-19 in universities, all remote classes are being implemented, so research is needed to raise learner awareness. Accordingly, factor analysis, mean analysis, correspondence analysis, and IPA analysis were performed based on the data of 632 students who responded from March 21 to June 30, 2021 for learners of K University in Chungbuk. First, overall satisfaction was low compared to importance, and the difference in system perception was the largest. Second, the difference in learner perception of real-time video lectures through the IPA matrix showed that the system error and screen cutoff were the largest. Third, the difficulty of lecture content, task and test feedback, etc. are classified. Accordingly, the satisfaction of real-time video lectures in non-face-to-face environments is low, suggesting that school-level support for quality improvement to improve learner satisfaction in non-face-to-face environments and the role of instructors are needed to improve learners' academic achievement.

간호학교수의 교수능력과 강의평가에 대한 태도조사 (Nursing Faculty Competence and Nursing Faculty's Attitude for Lecture Evaluation)

  • Nurse educators' competence is considered to be important in relation to the quality of education for nursing students. The purpose of this study was to identify the nursing faculty competence and attitude for lecture evalutaion, evlauated by nursing faculty. This article presented results focusing on South Korean nursing faculty's attutude for lecture evalutaion done by students and their opinion of the importance of nurse educator competence domains. The data collection was done from October, 2002 to August, 2003 and 151 subjects were used for the analysis. The Ideal Nursing Teacher Questionnaire was used to assess nurse faculty competence. The results showed that all of the lecture were evaluated and 59.6% of clinical practice was evaluated by nursing studuents. Nursing faculty thought that lecture evaluation by students was resonable, even though it was stressful. The most important among 5 domains of nurse educators' competence assessed by nursing faculty was nursing competence. Moreover nursing faculty responed that teaching skills domain and evaluation skills domain were more important than relationship with students domain and personality factors domain. Compared to young nursing faculty, nursing faculty who was old aged reported that nurse educators' competences in 4 domains of nursing competence, teaching skills, evaluation skills and relationship with students were more important.

AHP와 IPA를 활용한 비대면 강의 속성의 중요도와 실행만족도 분석 연구 : 교수자, 학습자 비교분석을 중심으로 (A Study on the Importance of Non-face-to-face Lecture Properties and Performance Satisfaction Analysis AHP and IPA: Focusing on Comparative Analysis of Professors and Students)

  • Non-face-to-face lectures have become a necessity rather than an option since COVID-19, and in order to improve the quality of university education, it is necessary to explore the properties of non-face-to-face lectures and make active efforts to improve them. This study, focusing on this, aims to provide basic data necessary for decision-making for non-face-to-face lecture design by analyzing the relative importance and execution satisfaction of non-face-to-face lecture attributes for professors and students. Based on previous research, a questionnaire was constructed by deriving 4 factors from 1st layer and 17 from 2nd layer attributes of non-face-to-face lectures. A total of 180 valid samples were used for analysis, including 60 professors and 120 students. The importance of the non-face-to-face lecture properties was calculated by obtaining the weights for each stratified element through AHP(Analytic Hierachy Process) analysis, and performance satisfaction was calculated through statistical analysis based on the Likert 5-point scale. As a result of the AHP analysis, both the professor group and the student group had the same priority for the first tier factors, but there was a difference in the priorities between the second tier factors, so it seems necessary to discuss this. As a result of the IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) analysis, the professor group selected the level of interaction as an area to focus on, and it was confirmed that research and investment in teaching methods for smooth interaction are necessary. The student group was able to confirm that it is urgent to improve and invest in the current situation so that the system can be operated stably by selecting the system stability. This study uses AHP analysis for professors and students groups to derive relative importance and priority, and calculates the IPA matrix using IPA analysis to establish the basis for decision-making on future face-to-face and non-face-to-face lecture design and revision. It is meaningful that it was presented.

중국 사이버대학의 서비스 특성화가 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influencing factors of Cyber Universities' Performance in China)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 사이버대학의 성과에 영향을 미치는 서비스 특성화 요인을 찾는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 사이버대학의 성과를 교수, 졸업 및 취업, 브랜드 이미지 측면에서 접근하였고, 선행연구를 토대로 하여 사이버대학의 성과에 영향을 미치는 서비스 특성화 요인으로 콘텐츠 다양성, 콘텐츠 품질, 콘텐츠 실무지향성, 강의 실재감, 학습관리를 도출하였다. 연구모형을 검증하기 위해 중국의 사이버대학에 재학 중인 대학생들을 인터넷 설문을 배포하여 총 170부의 유효설문을 수집하여 실증 분석하였다. 실증 분석한 결과, 다음과 같은 다섯 가지의 연구결과를 확인하였다. 첫째, 콘텐츠 다양성 수준이 높을수록 사이버대학의 성과는 높아지는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 강의 콘텐츠 품질이 우수할수록 사이버대학의 성과는 높아지는 것을 확인하였다. 셋째, 콘텐츠 실무 지향성이 높을수록 사이버대학의 성과가 높아지는 것을 확인하였다. 넷째, 강의 실재감이 높을수록 사이버대학의 성과는 높아지는 것을 확인하였다. 다섯째, 학습관리 수준이 높을수록 사이버대학의 성과가 높아지는 것을 확인하였다. 지금까지는 사이버대학에 관한 선행연구들은 주로 학습자의 학습성과 향상 방안을 찾는데 초점이 맞춰져 있었다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 이러한 선행연구와 달리 사이버대학의 비즈니스 모델 측면에 초점을 두고 접근하였다. 왜냐하면 교육 분야의 경쟁이 점차 글로벌 경쟁으로 심화되고 있어 기존의 비즈니스 모델로는 한계가 있어 새롭게 재검토할 필요가 있기 때문이다.
