With increase in container traffic, there has been constant shortage in supply of containers causing upward tendency at a price of sale and lease. In this point of view, it is safe to say that the importance of demand and supply management for containers is getting dear. At the same time, growing dependence on leasing containers has huge effect on increase in cost because of the difficulty in forming forecast model.

Work Guideline of Construction Quality Management was revised in July 2017, and it has changed the perception of scaffolding in South Korea. The on site investigation and survey was performed on manufacturers, leasing companies, and quality inspection agencies regarding the compliance with the guideline for the scaffolding and the related components brought to the site. Moreover, the related guidelines and identified unsatisfactory quality management items were analyzed by each subject. As a result, the major factors that cause the problems were reasonably deducted. The related regulations to prohibit the delivery of faulty scaffolding components to the construction site in order to secure the safety of the temporary structure was suggested.

Cloud computing is a computing environment in which users borrow as many IT resources as they need to, and use them over the network at any point in time. This is the concept of leasing and using as many IT resources as needed to lower IT resource usage costs and increase efficiency. Recently, cloud computing is emerging to provide stable service and volume of data along with major technological developments such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and big data. However, for a more secure cloud environment, the importance of perimeter security such as shared resources and resulting secure data storage and access control is growing. This paper analyzes security threats in cloud computing environments and proposes a security architecture for effective response.

The current estimation system of construction equipment cost was first introduced in 1960's when general contractors had ownership of equipment. However, most of construction equipment in construction sites has been rented from equipment leasing company these days. Therefore, the improvement of current cost estimation system is therefore inevitable in order to advance domestic construction industry. This study is aimed to suggest the improved system by analyzing nationwide market rental rates of major construction equipment. A user friendly prototype of actual database grounded on actual market rental rates collected from over 200 leasing companies in the nation was proposed. The database includes various rates and statistics analyzed by different form of contract as well as different region. Using the collected data, "The Cost Estimate System in Construction Equipment Database" was developed by using VBA(Visual Basic for Applications). The system makes users convenient to utilize the rental rates by choosing equipment and region, and various types of contract.

Forestry management problems in South Korea have been caused by small and scattered forest lands, aging forest owners, and the increase of absentee forest owners. To solve these problems, it is a time to consider the introduction of forest land bank system for the expansion of forestry management scale, the effective management of neglected forest lands, and the stable livelihood support for aged forest owners. Therefore, this research implemented the questionnaire survey of necessity, expectation, willingness to use, and introduction plans for the forest land bank system in order to examine the feasibility and demand of the system focused on forest owners, non-forest owners, and people who return to the farm. The questionnaire survey was conducted for 262 of resident forest owners, 152 of absentee forest owners, 427 of non-forest owners, and 101 of people who return to the farm. 77.5% of forest owners and 63.8% of non-forest owners agreed with the necessity of the introduction for the forest land bank system. Both forest owners and non-forest owners would prefer to use forest land reverse mortgage and leasing among projects of the forest land bank. In addition, 75% of people who return to the farm also expected that forest land bank would be helpful to their rural and mountain life, and they would have higher preference to participate in leasing and buying forest lands than other projects. Based on the outputs of the feasibility and demand survey in this research, this study can play a key role in determining basic direction, major functions, types and range of projects as well as providing information for establishing policies of the forest land bank system.

Korean government drives various programs to improve the performance of university-industry cooperation since 1998 such as BK 21(Brain Korea), NURI(New University for Regional Innovation), Connect Korea Program, and so on. We analyse the relationships between performance of university-industry cooperations and university competency factors(research competency and management competency) through multi-regression model, and propose policy implication. We used the basic data related to the performance of university-industry cooperation and university competency factors from Korean 61 universities. We set up some hypotheses and try to verify them with the method of multi-variable regression analysis including dependent variable(licensing fee, the number of technology transfers, the number of spin-offs) and independent variables(research competency, management competency). We, through this analysis, find both the research competency variables and management competency variables are significant to the performance of university-industry cooperation. Firstly, for licensing fee and the number of technology transfers, research competency variables such as the number of SCIE papers, the number of patent registration were significant, but management competency variables such as the scale of technology leasing organization, the number of specialist were not significant. Secondly, for the number of spin-offs management variables are significant, but research competency varialbles are not. These results imply that both the research competency and management competency of universities are the critical factors for the effective commercialization of university technology not only in United States but also in Korea. In the conclusion, we propose government drive university-industry cooperation policy to enhance the quality of research papers and patent as well as management capabilities of technology leasing organization.

This study offers a $3{\times}2$ matrix on the development method pursuant to the level of readiness and necessity for IS of SMEs, and the Delphi method survey through the assistance of a panel of IT experts was employed. Upon analyzing the results, in all rounds, the 1st quadrant and 2nd quadrant resulted in a preference for leasing methods (ASP/SaaS) and the other quadrants resulted in a preference for outsourcing. Quadrants closer to the 1st quadrant showed a preference for leasing methods (ASP/SaaS) and quadrants closer to the 6th quadrant showed a preference for outsourcing. In the case of the IS implementation for the entire company, all three levels of readiness resulted in a preference for outsourcing. The point in which the implementation method changed depending on the level of readiness was when unit systems were implemented, and among the implementation methods, in-house development showed the lowest results.

With people leaving the countryside to the cities as a result of industrialization and urbanization and drastic reduction of school children due to low birthrate, nationwide, total 3,438 schools have been shut down following the closed schools policy. Consequently, local governments have been active in selling, utilizing, and leasing the closed schools but there are still 466 closed schools that need to be addressed quickly. In addition to this phenomenon, aging population has become an important issue, and demand for elderly welfare facilities population is also increasing as a result. However, the supply of welfare services remains inadequate. This study was conducted in an attempt to solve both local and social problems at the same time, caused by the closing of schools and an aging population, through the use of closed schools as elderly welfare facilities, and suggests plans for per-unit space according to its type, and prototype, through research analysis of practical use, based on case studies. With the conclusions of both advantages and disadvantages, drawn from its type, we are hoping to be able to use this study by adapting its type, or mixing, according to one's needs.

Furthermore, a guideline will be provide you with preliminary data using Big Data to prepare for sudden price fluctuation because expected economic crisis, stock market situation, and uncertain future financial crisis can be predicted which may help anticipate real estate price index such as housing sales price index and housing lease price index.
