  • The most important thing in training of organization is that how effectively it can be made most of the performance among the staff. It will be useless if the knowledge which gaining after training can not be applied. Therefore the transfer of learning is studied since it is important for decision of training. We studied the factors of transfer of learning and carried out a survey targeting the public officials of Gangwon province with the factors we made a study. We define the factor of both promoted and interrupted in training and suggest the way of improving it. The first, the modeling of competency can stimulate the desire of achievement and complete a course of training among staff of organizations. The second, the construction of training program and organizational culture just for Gangwon province can increase the satisfaction of training among the learners. The third, the establishment of management system after training can reinforce the capability making use of train. The sharing of each information with boss at the office can help to stimulate the function of feedback after training as well.

  • The development of web-based distance education surroundings is steadily achieving. However the studying on the learning effect of learners is still weak against development of educational media itself. At present, most of the distance education system is showing limits in the evaluation of the learning effect because the teaming evaluation depends on mid or final-term exams by on-line or off-line. There is a strong point that the distance education is free from space and time. One of present weak points is limitation of evaluating learner's attitude which can estimate learning effects. Earnest teaming attitude at distance education is important factor for improving the learning effects. In this paper, we propose a model for improving the teaming effects by forcing real-time evaluation and returning feedback to learners at the cyber lectures. The developed experimental system is verified its possibilities.

  • The back propagation algorithm took a long time to learn the input patterns and was difficult to train the additional or repeated learning patterns. So Aleksander proposed the binary neural network which could overcome the disadvantages of BP Network. But it had the limitation of repeated learning and was impossible to extract a generalized pattern. In this paper, we proposed a dynamic 3 dimensional Neuro System which was consisted of a learning network which was based on weightless neural network and a feedback module which could accumulate the characteristic. The proposed system was enable to train additional and repeated patterns. Also it could be produced a generalized pattern by putting a proper threshold into each learning-net's discriminator which was resulted from learning procedures. And then we reused the generalized pattern to elevate the recognition rate. In the last processing step to decide right category, we used maximum response detector. We experimented using the MNIST database of NIST and got 99.3% of right recognition rate for training data.

  • The purpose of this paper is aimed to derive suggestions for convergence technology for effective management of distance education by analyzing a long-term case. The experiment was designed with notebook, smartphone or tablet based robot controlled by a remote instructor and a learner, who have experience of distance learning including robot assisted learning. The tablet based robot has the display system of feedback to speakers. During five months, three types of experiments were conducted randomly and a participant was interviewed thoroughly. The result, like the previous research, demonstrates that the task performance of the learner in telepresence robot-assisted learning was better than that in the notebook, and smartphone based. However, it is believed to be necessary to adjust the system for eye-contact and voice transmission for the remote instructor. The instructor required an additional sight by supplementing an extra camera and automatic direction control to source of sound.

  • The most important thing in vocational education and training is to enhance students' interest and understanding of the whole process of the production site. In this paper, we present a case on the implementation of tele-operation robot hand by learning factory based technology convergence education. It also suggests some points to be taken when applying the learning factory in the future curriculum. In order to implement the tele-operation robot hand, it is necessary to support the compulsory subjects of university level courses in domestic curriculum such as mechanic design, motor control, local communication implementation, sensing and feedback control. The educational research presented in this paper guides the students with the skills they need and understands the skills through self-study and practice, and implements the final products. This study will be useful as a base data when introducing the training process of training factory in the future.

  • The spread of COVID-19 and the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution have significantly affected the nature of college education causing many changes to the way it is conducted. One of these changes is the expansion of online education. The purpose of this study was to analyze the difficulties experienced by learners due to the transition to rapidly expanding online education at domestic universities, and to seek ways to support their learning through this new online platform. Results of a questionnaire showed that learners experienced difficulties in their interactions with professors because of the rapid transition to online education without adequate preparation. It was determined that there were not enough opportunities for communication between learners and professors as a result of non-face-to-face online education, and that learners did not receive Q&A or feedback quickly enough. The study also examined ways to ways to improve the effectiveness of online learning. Students showed a high preference for items such as "appropriate guidance regarding announcements such as lecture schedules," "providing lecture notes as learning materials."

  • The purpose of this study is to draw implications through a case study on the curriculum operation of a professor who operated a programming subject as a PBL(project-based learning) method in an untact situation due to COVID-19. A survey was conducted for first-year freshmen students to determine their learning condition before project implementation. Based on the results of the questionnaire, individual interviews were conducted to identify the needs for education, and then, basic grammar for project completion and lectures that segmenting each stage of the project were composed. Repeated learning was induced through weekly quizzes, and feedback was given by giving time in advance until the project deadline. 23 students (40 students in total) completed the project. The remaining 17 students took the exam but did not complete the project. The purpose of this study is significant in that it investigated whether a project can be carried out through instructional design, execution, and interaction while operating a programming subject through PBL in the COVID-19 environment.

  • The purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of online problem-based learning (PBL) on learners' 4C competencies and learning experience. The results of the study showed that, first, online PBL had a statistically significant effect on learners' problem-solving skills, communication skills, and pre-service teacher efficacy. Second, learners were very satisfied with the online PBL experience and perceived it to be very beneficial to their learning and to themselves as preservice teachers. Third, learners perceived that the real-time video conferencing system and instant messenger were very helpful for successful online PBL. Fourth, regarding the important factors for successful online PBL, the participants in this study perceived that communication and sincerity are very important, and the role of the leader is also important, but personal intimacy among team members is relatively less important. Fifth, learners perceive that instructor feedback is very important for successful online PBL. Finally, the implications of this study are discussed along with suggestions for future research.

  • It is general that the ICAI(Intelligent Computer Assisted Instruction) consists of 4 modules. Export module, Teacher module, Student module and Interface module. In each module construction, there should be some rules to control strategies efficiently and systematically that are related to the texts and assessment instruments, assessment results and evaluation, feedback, etc. It is necessary to use a method to classify the curriculum into sections with units and to represent the identified relationships between them. These relationships are available to all the process of learning, assessment, evaluation and feedback. In this paper, we propose the method to represent these units and relationships as a graph. In addition, we implement an internet-based courseware authoring tool to support the environment in which several expert can construct concurrently the courseware with cooperation between them.

  • This paper suggests an input device that allows a user not only to naturally interact with education contents in virtual environment but also to sense haptic feedback according to his/her interaction. The proposed system measures a user's motion and then creates haptic feedback based on the measured position. To create haptic information in response to a user's interaction with educational contents in virtual environment, we develop a motion input device which consists of a motion controller, a haptic actuator, a wireless communication module, and a motion sensor. To measure a user's motion input, an accelerometer is used as the motion sensor. The experiment shows that the proposed system creates continuous haptic sensation without any jerky motion or vibration.
