Implementation of YOLOv5-based Forest Fire Smoke Monitoring Model with Increased Recognition of Unstructured Objects by Increasing Self-learning data

  • A society will lose a lot of something in this field when the forest fire broke out. If a forest fire can be detected in advance, damage caused by the spread of forest fires can be prevented early. So, we studied how to detect forest fires using CCTV currently installed. In this paper, we present a deep learning-based model through efficient image data construction for monitoring forest fire smoke, which is unstructured data, based on the deep learning model YOLOv5. Through this study, we conducted a study to accurately detect forest fire smoke, one of the amorphous objects of various forms, in YOLOv5. In this paper, we introduce a method of self-learning by producing insufficient data on its own to increase accuracy for unstructured object recognition. The method presented in this paper constructs a dataset with a fixed labelling position for images containing objects that can be extracted from the original image, through the original image and a model that learned from it. In addition, by training the deep learning model, the performance(mAP) was improved, and the errors occurred by detecting objects other than the learning object were reduced, compared to the model in which only the original image was learned.

Values of Infographics for Promoting Cultural Learning Resources and Tourist Attractions: A Case of Patum Village in Thailand

  • Infographics are influential and valuable communication tools for providing information, and can be used for promoting cultural learning resources and cultural tourism destinations. Therefore, this article presents values of using infographics for promoting Patum's culture and tourism in Phrao District, Chiang Mai, Thailand as cultural learning resources and tourist attractions. Employing a research and development approach, this study utilized three distinct instruments: (1) an interview form engaging 40 locals to uncover insights on promoting Patum village, (2) an assessment form evaluated by three arts and design experts, and (3) questionnaires distributed to 92 participants to gauge perceptions and satisfaction. The findings showcased the high quality and appropriateness of the eight infographics. Audiences derived six key values, including acquiring knowledge, fostering the promotion of Patum's culture, festivals, religions and beliefs, deriving aesthetic enjoyment, encouraging cultural tourism, contributing to the education sector, and enhancing comprehension of Patum's history. Participants expressed high satisfaction ($\bar{x}$=4.46) with the infographic use. The developed infographics are usable and valuable information to help audiences recognize Patum cultural learning resources and tourist destinations. They might be further tailored to the recognition of Patum village in the near future, affecting the area's development by increasing local people's incomes through cultural learning resources and tourism activities.

  • The qualitative effect of class is influenced by the instructor's class design and operation method, but it comes from motivating students to actively participate in class and utilizing potential qualities that lead to student-centered learning. Students' activities and the quality development of class participation can be utilized in presentation-based classes. This could be confirmed through the presentation classes in English language curriculum applied to English major students in Korea. In other words, with presentations conducted in language-theoretic classes such as phonetics/phonology, and syntax, it turned out that immersion in learning, concentration on class, and motivation for learning can be improved, developing systematic self-directed learning ability and cooperative mutual communication ability. Instructors need to lead the direction and design of the classes, but the actual educational effect depends on how students accept the academic tasks, how well they understand the learning contents, and how well they can systematically transmit them to others. In this respect, this study aims to investigate that learner-centered presentation classes contribute to making learners develop their competencies in class design, data utilization, imparting knowledge, and communication, which would bring about the improvement of learning quality and educational effects.

  • Contemporary societal and environmental transformations coincide with the emergence of novel mental health challenges. anxiety disorder, a chronic and highly debilitating illness, presents with diverse clinical manifestations. Epidemiological investigations indicate a global prevalence of 5%, with an additional 10% exhibiting subclinical symptoms. Notably, 9% of adolescents demonstrate clinical features. Untreated, anxiety disorder exerts profound detrimental effects on individuals, families, and the broader community. Therefore, it is very meaningful to predict anxiety disorder through machine learning algorithm analysis model. The main research content of this paper is the analysis of the prediction model of anxiety disorder by machine learning algorithms. The research purpose of machine learning algorithms is to use computers to simulate human learning activities. It is a method to locate existing knowledge, acquire new knowledge, continuously improve performance, and achieve self-improvement by learning computers. This article analyzes the relevant theories and characteristics of machine learning algorithms and integrates them into anxiety disorder prediction analysis. The final results of the study show that the AUC of the artificial neural network model is the largest, reaching 0.8255, indicating that it is better than the other two models in prediction accuracy. In terms of running time, the time of the three models is less than 1 second, which is within the acceptable range.

  • The research of course-embedded learning evaluation method, which can be used to measure the competency of learners by evaluation of learning outcomes, has been performed for competency-based education in the university. In this paper, we propose an learning evaluation and adaptive feedback model based on learning outcomes, learning subjects, learning concepts graph, and an evaluation matrix. Firstly, we define the layered learning outcomes, a graph of learning subjects and concepts, and two association matric. Secondly, we define algorithms to calculate the level of learning achievement and the learning feedback to learners. We applied the proposed method to a specific course, "Java Programing", to validate the effectiveness of our method. The experimental results show that our proposed method can be useful to measure the learning achievement of learners and provide adaptive feedbacks to them.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of gamification-based classes on the learning motivation and learning immersion of junior college students and to explore the meaning. This study was conducted on 80 students from two departments as part of the teaching and learning community activities supported by the D University Teaching and Learning Development Center in Busan. The research problem of this study is, first, does gamification-based classes affect the strengthening of learning motivation of junior college students? Second, does gamification-based classes affect the learning immersion of junior college students?. As a result of conducting a survey before and after the application of gamification-based classes and examining the effectiveness, gamification-based classes showed statistically significant changes in all categories of learners' learning motivation, learning immersion. Through this, it can be seen that gamification-based classes are valuable as teaching and learning methods suitable for improving the learning motivation and learning immersion of junior college students.

Effects of Emotional Competence, Learning Organization, and Nursing Organization Culture among Nursing Performance of Clinical Nurses (임상간호사의 감성역량, 학습조직화 및 간호조직문화가 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of emotional competence, learning organization and nursing organizational culture on performance among clinical nurses. Methods : This study was conducted over a six-month period, with 170 nurses from general hospitals with 400 beds in three regions of Korea. Data were gathered from August 25th to September 10th, 2016, using a self-report questionnaire, and analyzed using the IBM SPSS 19.0 program. Results : The significant predictors of nursing performance were self-awareness (${\beta}=.32$), a master's degree or higher (${\beta}=.20$), relationship management (${\beta}=.26$), personal mastery(${\beta}=.23$), and 5~10 years in a clinical career (${\beta}=.16$). These variables explained 47.3% of the variance in nursing performance. Conclusions : To improve nursing performance, interventions that can enhance nurses' emotional competence and the need for program development to enhance their learning organization, as well as related variables, including academic credentials and clinical career, should be considered.

"Ascending to Heaven and Becoming an Immortal": Sublime Words with Deep Meaning and Ultimate Value in Daoist Culture (道文化终极价值的文字学阐释: 兼论「大巡」「道通真境」之人文意涵)

  • The value embodied by "Ascending to Heaven and Being an Immortal" (Yuhua Dengxian in Chinese) implies the core gist of Daoist culture as well as its ultimate value. From the perspective of Philology, each word, "Yu", "Hua", "Deng", and "Xian" benefits us through a philosophy of life, learning skills, the pursuit of the mysteries of Daoist immortality, and the ways of life characteristics and spiritual transcendence. "To become an immortal" is becoming adept at life. "Yuhua" refers to learning transcendental skills, and "Deng" expresses the promotion of life. "Ascending to Heaven and Becoming an Immortal" integrates the goal- oriented values of Daoist Culture, learning transcendental skills, and the state of being alive into a unified whole. Namely, it is the perfect combination of an adept's supreme pursuit of value and zenith of life. By way of contrast, in Daesoon Jinrihoe, the concepts of "Daesoon" and "Perfected Unification with the Dao" not only advocate "physical and mental transformation" and "spiritual development" for Dao cohorts, but also personal cultivation and service to society, and participation in "The Creation of an Earthly Paradise." These are unified under the ideal humanistic value of "the earthly paradise of the Later World."

Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of White Collars: Focus on Job Title

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of education & training and organizational culture on job satisfaction and organizational commitment and then examine the difference that would appear depending on the job title in the case of Korean employees in the manufacturing industry. Research design, data, and methodology - Our sample consisted of 1,013 administrative employees in the manufacturing industry with data extracted from the 4th Human Capital Corporate Panel (2011) survey. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were conducted. Results - Results showed that education & training had positive effect only on job satisfaction while organizational culture had positive effect on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Components under education & training (duration of the formal learning, efficacy of formal learning and efficacy of informal learning) and organizational culture (equity, communication, talent recognition, innovation) that were found to be affecting job satisfaction and organizational commitment revealed to be different depending on the hierarchical position of the employee. Conclusions - Different approach and policy for each group of job title could be considered in order to increase job satisfaction and enhance organizational commitment of the employees.

The Importance of CEO's Sustainable Leadership to Distribute Environmental Education Culture in the Organization

  • Purpose: CEOs develop policies through their effective decision-making while employees implement the policies so that a business realizes the expected returns. This research focuses on the importance of the CEO's sustainable leadership to distribute environmental education culture to improve employees' environmental performance. Research design, data and methodology: The PRISMA that is selected by the present research is an evidence-based minimum group of entities for reporting in systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The core focus of the concept is to note studies that evaluate the impacts of intervention and can also be utilized as a basis for writing systematic reviews rather than intervention evaluations. Results: The current investigation indicates that there are four kinds of suggestions (a. Increased organizational learning, b. Open communication, c. Participative decision making, d. Psychological empowerment) how the management should develop sustainable leadership for distributing green culture and improving employee green performance. Conclusions: Based on four solutions, the present research concludes that sustainable leadership for CEOs is not only of advantage in terms of protecting the environment and the people, but it fosters increased organizational learning. Increased organizational learning leads to better employee sustainable performance, which includes financial performance and the social and environmental initiatives the organization implements.
