The purpose of this study is to define the emotion that expressed in step animation and to quantify the intuitional expression of emotion that related step for using extract, measure, analysis the stimulate element about step. The survey of relation with 27 word of emotional expressions and 36 moving pictures of step sample is used for method of this test. The emotional mental structure is transferred to 2 dimensional planes as applying the results of analysis of integrated data using Quantification Method 3, which the integrated data is composed two axial - confidential axial and stabling axial. Analysis of distribution of 2 dimensional diagram shows that the second of the plane and the third of the plane have much data. However, the first of the plane and the forth of the plane have a little data. Through this kind of analysis of graph, it is difficult to express a different emotion between unstable the timidity mind and stable feel the timidity mind using only step analysis. Six difference types about physical elements affecting to emotion are selected and analyzed such as the paces of step, the rate of step, the movement angle of pelvis, the swing range of arm, angle of backbone and the lean angle of body. The result is that the rate of stop and the lean angle of body are the major element that effects to emotional stimulate of stop. This thesis argues about methods transforming subjective expression to objective and quantitative expression with the state of delicate emotion of character apply to step animation naturally. Those data to apply to multi-contents in future are the main target in this study.

This paper searched through mixture ratio response test whether exert effect that is some in part load performance of engine according to inlet valve angle in gasoline engine. Engines that inlet valve angle is narrow decreased quantity of NOx among exhaust gas than engine that inlet valve angle is wide, and ignition timing was retard, and fuel consumption improved a little. That quantity of NOx among exhaust gas decreases and ignition timing was retard can judge that fast burning occurred. Fast burning can decrease output decline and misfire that can happen at lean burning. Can be judged by thing which engine's combustion performance improves if inlet valve angle is narrow if examine test result.

The purpose of this study was to classier the somatotype of late middle-aged women and to analyze the characteristics of each somatotype. The subjects were 337 late middle-aged women and their age range os from 45 to 59 fears old. Data were collected through anthropometry and photometry and analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis and discriminant analysis. The results were as follows; 1. The result of factor analysis indicated that 9 factors were extracted through factor analysis and those factors comprised 83.56 percent of total valiance. 2. Using factor scores, cluster analysis was carried out and the subject were classified into 4 cluster. Each cluster was classified as their body front and side view contour. Type 1 is tall, slim, and lower balk is flat on the side. Type 2 is standard and lean-back type on the side. Type 3 is standard height and weight, H type in front, and belly-protruded on the side. Type 4 is short, fat, and the side is hip-protruded. 3. According to the stepwise discriminant analysis, the 9 important items in classifying the somatotype of the late middle-aged women are as follows ; lower back tilt angle, hip depth(back) -back waist depth(back), bust depth(fore) - anterior waist depth(fore), jugular fossa point(fore), upper back tilt angle, burst breadth -waist breadth, right shoulder tilt, height of shoulder - height of anterior waist, abdomen breath. The correct classification rate for these items is as exact as 84.62%.
Narrow commuter vehicles can address many congestion, parking and pollution issues associated with urban transportation. In making narrow vehicles safe, comfortable and acceptable to the public, active tilt control systems are likely to playa crucial role. This paper focuses on the development of an active direct tilt control system for a narrow vehicle that utilizes an actuator in the vehicle suspension. A simple PD controller can stabilize the tilt dynamics of the vehicle to any desired tilt angle. However, the challenges in the tilt control system design arise in determining the desired lean angle in real-time and in minimizing tilt actuator torque requirements. Minimizing torque requirements requires the tilting and turning of the vehicle to be synchronized as closely as possible. This paper explores two different control design approaches to meet these challenges. A Receding Horizon Controller (RHC) is first developed so as to systematically incorporate preview on road curvature and synchronize tilting with driver initiated turning. Second, a nonlinear control system that utilizes feedback linearization is developed and found to be effective in reducing torque. A close analysis of the complex feedback linearization controller provides insight into which terms are important for reducing actuator effort. This is used to reduce controller complexity and obtain a simple nonlinear controller that provides good performance.

This paper investigates a variable geometry (VG) mixed flow turbine with a novel, purposely designed pivoting nozzle vane ring. The nozzle vane ring was matched to the 3-dimensional aspect of the mixed flow rotor leading edge with lean stacking. It was found that for a nozzle vane ring in a volute, the vane surface pressure is highly affected by the flow in the volute rather than the adjacent vane surface interactions, especially at closer nozzle positions. The performance of the VG mixed flow turbine has been evaluated experimentally in steady and unsteady flow conditions. The VG mixed flow turbine shows higher peak efficiency and swallowing capacity at various vane angle settings compared to an equivalent nozzleless turbine. Comparison with an equivalent straight vane arrangement shows a higher swallowing capacity but similar efficiencies. The VG turbine unsteady performance was found to deviate substantially from the quasi-steady assumption compared to a nozzleless turbine. This is more evident in the higher vane angle settings (smaller nozzle passage), where there are high possibility of choking during a pulse cycle. The presented steady and unsteady results are expected to be beneficial in the design of variable geometry turbochargers, especially the ones with a mixed flow turbine.
The purpose of this study was to compare of the kinematic variables from takeoff preparation to takeoff used by long jumpers who recorded over 8meters in 2002 Busan Asian Game and 2003 Daegu Universiade and 2001 national championship. The kinematic characteristics from the last three stride to takeoff at the takeoff board were analyzed such as velocities, heights and angles. The conclusion were as follows; In order to record over 8meters the national long jumpers should have under 5cm height variation at the penultimate stride of the run-up. In the approach phase the horizontal velocity of the jumpers should reach to 10m/s in touchdown at takeoff board The vertical velocity must have 3.75m/s simultaneously in order to record 8meters. The jumpers need to continue talent of the horizontal velocity in touchdown at takeoff board and require jumping power of the takeoff leg at takeoff board The appropriate body variation range ratio between takeoff and touchdown should be 1.2 vs 1 and the trunk angle at touch down on the board should be close to the erect posture for higher body flight.
The effects of tumble and swirl flows on the flame propagation were investigated experimentally in a 4-valve optical gasoline engine. The tumble flow patterns, generated by various intake ports of different entry angle; $25^{\circ}$ , $20^{\circ}$ and $15^{\circ}$ , were characterized under motored conditions with laser Doppler velocirnetry. Inclined tumble(swirl) flows were induced by three different swirl control valves. The initial flame propagation was visualized by an ICCD camera and its image were analyzed to compare the enflamed area and displacement of initial flames. It was found that there is a correlation between the stronger tumble during induction and turbulence levels at the time of ignition resulting in faster flame development. Inclined tumble was proved to be more beneficial than the pure tumble for faster and stable combustion under lean mixture conditions, which was confirmed by faster propagating flame images.
The purpose of this study is to analyse and compare the fuel combustion characteristics between LPG and gasoline on SI engine. Pressures of combustion chamber were measured on the state that engine speed was 2000rpm and BMEP was 2.0bar And we measured pressures of combustion chamber regarding variation of the MBT We could know that the combustion pressure of LPG fuel use engine is appeared lower than that of gasoline fuel use engine. At the lean mixture ratio area we could blow that Ignition timings are pulled very forward, and ignition timing of LPG fuel is advanced to $5\sim12^{\circ}$ CA than gasoline fuel. We learned that the value of coefficient of variation of LPG fuel is higher than gasoline fuel.
In this paper, the effect of modification of geometric variables on the performance of a centrifugal compressor blade has been studied numerically. The compressor contains six main blades and six splitter blades. Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations with shear stress turbulence (SST) model are discretized by finite volume approximations and solved on hexahedral grids for flow analysis. The design variables from blade lean angle at tip and middle of the blade have been modified. The isentropic blade efficiency and pressure have been predicted with the variation of the variables. Frozen rotor simulation is performed and adiabatic wall condition has been used. One of the six blades of compressor has been used for simulation to reduce the computational load. Optimum number of meshes has been selected by grid-dependency test, and this is used for all the simulations with changing geometric variables. The detailed flow analysis results have been reported as well as the effects of the variables.
An aerodynamic design technique of a centrifugal impeller is developed. The design procedure consists of a preliminary design, a three-dimensional blade surface generation, a flow analysis of impeller passage and a compatibility analysis for the designed impeller. To get a higher efficiency, the backswept impeller which has a lean angle and a parabolic blade surface is designed. In the present analysis of flow in an impeller, an inviscid quasi-three-dimensional method and a viscous three-dimensional method are used. Compatibility of the designed impeller is decided with the results of the analyses. The quasi-three-dimensional method is easy to use, but limited to a few conditions in real application for the prediction of the actual flow in the impeller. Since the viscous three-dimensional method proved to predict the real flow in the impeller relatively well, it can be used as a means for the decision of compatibility of the designed impeller.
