유아의 놀이성, 놀이주도성 및 의사소통능력 수준에 따른 놀이행동 (The Differences in Children's Play Behavior according to the Level of their Playfulness, Leadership and Communicative Ability)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in children's play behaviors in terms of their levels of playfulness, leadership and communicative ability. The subjects were 152 children aged between 3 and 4, and their 20 teachers at 10 child care centers in the Seoul and Gyeonggi area. The results of this study suggested that play behaviors were related to the level of playfulness, leadership and communicative ability in 3 and 4 years old children. Among these children, those who scored highly in terms of their playfulness, leadership and communicative ability were involved more frequently in both 'group play' and 'symbolic play' whereas those who achieved lower scores were more frequently involved in 'solitary play' and 'functional play'. However, in case of 'constructive play', significant results were not found in relation to the independent variables named in this study. 'Parallel play' and 'games with rules' were the only categories within which the findings revealed that children's play behaviors have shown different patterns according to the age of the child and to the levels of those three independent variables mentioned above.

운동선수의 지도행동유형이 선수만족 및 운동몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Leadership Style on Player Satisfaction and Exercise Flow of Athletic Players)

  • 본 연구는 운동선수의 지도행동유형이 선수만족 및 운동몰입과의 관계를 규명하여 선수의 능력을 향상시켜서 경기력을 높이는데 목적이 있다. 표집방법으로 비확률표본추출법을 이용하였고, 설문지의 총 381부를 자료 분석에 사용하였다. 설문지는 SPSS/PC+ Window용 21.0 version 통계프로그램을 이용하여, 연구 대상자의 빈도 분석과 요인분석, 상관관계 분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 운동선수의 지도행동유형인 훈련과 지도행동, 민주적 행동, 긍정적 피드백, 사회적지지에서 선수만족 및 운동몰입에서 상호관련성은 정적(+)인 상관관계가 나타났으며, 지도행동유형의 권위적 행동에서는 운동몰입에 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 운동선수의 지도행동유형이 선수만족에 대한 결과는 사회적 상호작용은 훈련과 지도, 사회적 지지에서, 과제 수행은 훈련과 지도에서, 코치의 지도성은 훈련과 지도, 긍정적피드백에서 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 운동선수의 지도행동유형이 운동몰입에 대한 결과는 인지몰입은 훈련과 지도, 긍정적 피드백에서, 행위몰입은 훈련과 지도, 긍정적 피드백, 사회적 지지에서 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 선수들의 운동수행만족과 운동에 몰입하여 경기에 임하게 된다면 좋은 운동기술수행을 통하여 최상의 경기력을 발휘할 수 있을 것이다.

유아의 친사회적 행동 평가 척도 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Prosocial Behavior Scale for Young Children)

  • Construction of the Prosocial Behavior Scale for young children(PBSYC) was based on document research and interviews with kindergarten teachers and child development specialists. After 200 kindergarten teachers evaluated the 42 items of the PBSYC, factor analysis was conducted; items were categorized into seven factors: leadership, helping, communication, concern, proximity, sharing and empathy. As factors showed high correlation. The prosocial behavior of 306 4 to 5 year old children was measured with the PBSYC and compared with the Babock, Hartle & Lamme(l995) scale. The resulting correlation between the 2 scales was .764. Further tests indicate that the PBSYC is a valid and reliable scale for the measurement of prosocial behavior in young children.

조직시민행동과 선행요인간의 관계에 관한 연구 : TPM 제조혁신의 조절효과를 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationship Between Employees' Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Antecedents : Moderating Effect of TPM Manufacturing Innovation)

  • The purpose of this study is to enhance an understanding of employee's OCB(organizational citizenship behavior) in manufacturing innovations like a TPM(total productive maintenance). OCB is examined as a dependent variable in three dimensions; compliance behavior, altruistic behavior, and innovative behavior. The six determinants of OCB are considered based on previous literature : organizational culture, team climate, transactional leadership, transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. And the moderating effect of TPM on the relationships between OCB and determinants are examined. Data is collected through questionnaires and interviews from 684 employees in the Korean medium-sized manufacturing company that are conducting TPM. The result indicates that the important influencing factors of OCB are team climate, organizational culture, and job satisfaction. And the moderating effect of TPM on the relationships between OCB and job satisfaction is founded.

철근콘크리트 단순스라브교의 설계모우멘트의 비교연구 (A Study on the Design Moment of Simple Slab bridge of Reinforced Concrete)

  • Many empirical research surveys have supported that Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is influnced by or closely related with leadership styles. The first purpose of this study is to review the relationship between 2 leadership styles(employee-centered style, job-centered style) and 2 OCB factors(altruism, conscientiousness) as a criterion variable, and the second and primary purpose is to test the moderating effects of structural factors(formalization, centralization) and personal factors(growth needs, sex, age, tenure, rank, occupation, school career) between 2 leadership styles and 2 OCB factors. For the analytical purpose of this article, Fisher's Z-transformation and SGC(split groups correlations) methods were introduced. Generally 2 leadership styles are found to influence on altruism and conscientiousness respectively. Out of 36 cases, only 2 cases were significant in moderating effects. Based on empirical results, there is no moderating effects in conscientiousness. But altruism is found to more closely related with employee-centered leadership in low centralized group than on high centralized group, and more closely related with job-centered leadership in low growth-needs group than in high growth-needs group.

  • 건설 현장에서 리더의 역할을 담당하는 현장소장의 리더십은 프로젝트의 성과와 성패에 많은 영향을 미치는 중요한 핵심 성공 요인이다. 그러나 리더십이라는 주제가 지니는 추상적${\cdot}$정성적 속성으로 인해 이를 측정 또는 평가하는 것이 용이하지는 않다. 그럼에도 불구하고 현장소장의 리더십에 대한 정량적인 평가는 건설기업 차원에서 자사(自社) 현장소장의 리더십 수준을 파악하고 이를 지속적으로 향상시키기 위한 방안을 마련하기 위해 필수적인 과정이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire(LBDQ) 기법을 건설 현장소장 리더십 평가에 활용하는 방안을 파일럿 테스트를 통해 제안하는데 있다.

  • 본 연구는 개인의 역할 외 행동을 보다 구체적으로 살펴보기 위해, 조직시민행동을 조직 및 개인의 두 가지 차원으로 구분하였다. 또한, 이를 이끌어 낼 수 있는 투입요인으로 임파워링 리더십을 선정하고, 신뢰의 매개역할을 살펴보았다. 이를 밝히기 위해, 대구 경북의 제조업 종사자를 중심으로 설문조사를 수행하였고, 구조방정식을 통해 가설을 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 임파워링 리더십은 개인 지향 및 조직지향 조직시민행동에 유의한 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 신뢰는 임파워링 리더십과 개인 및 조직 지향 조직시민행동의 관계를 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 조직 내 조직시민행동을 유발할 수 있는 구체적인 실행 지침이 될 것이며, 나아가 조직시민행동의 연구의 영역을 확장시킬 것이다.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of self-leadership of Korean aircraft mechanics on organizational effectiveness and to investigate whether safety culture has mediating effect. The theory of leadership, which has emerged since the 1940s, has been an important and key research issue in the social sciences for the last decade and has evolved as a brand-new theory through the theory of characteristics, the theory of behavior, and the theory of situation. The new leadership theory has been extended to charismatic leadership, transformative leadership, empowerment leadership, super leadership, and self-leadership of organizational members as a new flow leadership. On the other hand, there was a precedent study on the relationship between leadership and safety culture, and this study started with interest in the relationship between self-leadership, safety culture and organizational effectiveness. As a result, safety culture has been proved to play an moderating variable in the relationship between self-leadership of Korean aircraft mechanics and organizational effectiveness. Especially, among the sub-factors of the self-leadership, self-goal setting, self-reward, and natural reward have been shown to affect organizational effectiveness in combination with the sub-factors of the safety culture, learning culture and flexible culture.

일선 간호관리자의 리더쉽 프로그램 요구 조사 (A Study of Leadership Training Program Demands of First-Line Nurse Managers in University Hospitals)

  • There is an important concern regarding the First-line nurse manager's leadership because of the recognition that effectiveness of Leadership in this position results in benefits for the whole health care organization. So knowledge and practice of effective leadership behavior are now more essential to nursing than ever before. First-line Nurse Managers must be effective leaders to meet today's challenge because staff nurse, patient are affected by them. So the purpose of this study was to identify and to analyse the need for Leadership program of First-Line nurse managers in university hospitals. There were three major purposes of this study. First, identify First-line nurse managers general characteristic, second, identify their experience of leadership training, third, identify and analysis their demands for leadership training program. The subjects for this study was 167 First-line nurse manager randomly from 18 university hospitals in Korea. The data were collected through questionnaires from Oct. 13th to Nov. 20th, 1997, data was analysed using frequencies and percentages. Especially the steps of analysis of descriptions were as follows: Initial analysis centered on the identification of the demands of first-line nurse managers. Later analysis collapsed the demands into broad categories. From the collect data, 283 demands of first-line nurse managers were identified. These demands were then sorted into 3 broad categories that included : Self development as first-line nurse managers, relationship with others, and practice. The result of the study were as follows ; 1) Most of nurse managers(79.6%) had leadership training course and had good experience to improve self leadership. 2) Their demands of leadership training course are as follows First, for self as first-line nurse managers, they want to learn leadership theory, identify their leadership style and then develop their leadership skill. Second, for others as first-line nurse managers, they want to improve their communication skill, empowering others, relationship with others. Third, for patients as first-line nurse managers, improve their knowledge of practice. From the above finding, this study can be suggested the following; 1. Develope a leadership training course to improve first- line nurse manager's leadership skill according to their demands, so they will be better able to lead staff nurses for organization purposes. 2. When develope leadership training program, it must be contained the factors which first-line nurse managers want to learn.

How Paternalistic Leadership affects Employee Voice Behavior in Korean Hierarchical Organizations?

  • This study aims to examine the impact of Korean paternalistic leadership under a hierarchical structure on employee voice and also to compare the differences in leaders' behaviors-authoritarian, benevolent, and moral, and the effects on employee voice between governmental organizations and Quasi-government organizations. The sample of governmental organizations includes 195 employees under job control from at least middle-range or higher managers at local governments and local police agencies in Daegu and Busan metropolitan. The other sample also includes 189 employees reporting directly to managers with job control in public enterprises and government-funded Korean institutes in the same cities. This study employs t-test and regression analysis to test presumed hypotheses. As the results of the analysis, there is a significant difference in authoritarian leadership between governmental organizations and Quasi-government organizations, but both benevolent and moral leadership are not. Benevolent and moral leadership are positively related to employee voice, but authoritarian leadership is not. Based on the analytical results, this research suggests the theoretical implications and the limitations on the applicability of paternalistic leadership into the Korean cultural context for an expanded understanding of leadership theory and practical implications for managers in terms of improvement of employee voice.
