잣나무 종자(種字) 성숙과정(成熟過程)에 있어서의 내적변화(內的變化)와 발아력(發芽力)에 대(對)한 연구(硏究) (Studies on the Internal Changes and Germinability during the Period of Seed Maturation of Pinus koraiensis Sieb. et Zucc.)

  • 1970~1971년(年)에 걸쳐 잣나무의 자웅화(雌雄花)가 개화(開花)하여 구과(毬果)가 성숙(成熟)하기까지 임업시험장(林業試驗場) 서울시험임내(試驗林內)에 고정모수(固定母樹) 2본(本)과 보조모수(補助母樹) 3본(本)을 선정(選定)하여 7~10일간격(日間隔)으로 구과(毬果)를 채취(採取)하여 외부형태(外部形態)와 내부조직(內部組織)의 변화상(變化相)을 밝히고 구과(毬果)의 종자(種子)의 함수량(含水量)을 비롯하여 유지(油脂), 당(糖), 단백질(蛋白質) 등(等) 함유물질(含有物質)의 변화(變化)와 발아력(發芽力)을 갖게되는 시기등(時期等)을 종합적(綜合的)으로 연구(硏究)하였으며 그 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 웅화(雄花) 1) 4월하순(月下旬)~5월상순(月上旬) 화분모세포군(花粉母細胞群)이 형성(形成)되고 다시 5월상순(月上旬)~5월중순(月中旬)에 환원분열(還元分裂)을 하여 사분자(四分子)가 되고 단핵상(單核狀)의 화분(花粉)은 그후분열(後分裂)하여 5월하순(月下旬) 성숙비산(成熟飛散)하였다. 2) 한 개의 웅화수(雄花穗)의 웅예수(雄蘂數)는 구과(毬果)의 유효인편수(有效鱗片數)와 거의 비슷한 69~102개(個)로서 1개(個)의 웅예내(雄蘂內)에는 5800~7300립(粒)의 화분(花粉)이 들어있다. 3) 성숙화분(成熟花粉)의 형태(形態)는 원형(圓形) 또는 타원형(楕圓形)으로 좌우(左右)에 기낭(氣囊)이 달렸으며 화분(花粉)의 길이는 $80{\sim}91{\mu}$로서 cuticula로 된 외피(外皮)와 cellulose로 된 엷은 내피(內皮)로 둘러 쌓여있다. 4) 성숙화분(成熟花粉)은 pH6.0의 증류수(蒸溜水)에 2%의 자당(蔗糖)을 넣은 0.8% 한천배지(寒天培地)를 사용(使用)하여 $25^{\circ}C$에서 68시간(時間) 경과후(經過後)에 발아(發芽)하였다. 2. 자화(雌花) 1) 인편(鱗片)은 4월하순(月下旬)부터 빨리 자라기 시작(始作)하여 5월상순(月上旬)에 배주(胚珠)의 분화(分化)가 시작(始作)된다. 5월중순(月中旬)에 배낭모세포(培囊母細胞)가 환원분열(還元分裂)을 하여 사분자(四分子)를 만들고 웅화(雄花)의 개화(開花) 직전(直前)인 5월하순(月下旬)~6월상순(月上旬)에 자화(雌花)의 생식기관(生殖器官)이 완성(完成)되었다. 2) 수분후(授粉後) 자화(雌花)의 배낭모세포핵(培囊母細胞核)은 계속(繼續) 분열(分裂)하여 다수(多數)의 유리핵(遊離核)이 밀집상태(密集狀態)로 익춘(翌春)까지 월동(越冬)한다. 3월중순(月中旬)부터 핵분열(核分裂)과 더불어 격막(膈膜)이 형성(形成)되어 5월상순(月上旬) 봉와조직상(蜂窩組織狀)의 배유체(胚乳體)가 형성(形成)되었다. 3. 수정(受精) 및 배(胚)의 형성(形成) 1) 장란기(藏卵器)는 4월중순(月中旬)~하순(下旬)에 형성(形成)되고 4월하순(月下旬)~5월초순(初旬) 사이에 수정(受精)하였다. 2) 배(胚)의 형성(形成)은 수정후(受精後) 5월하순(月下旬)에 난핵(卵核)이 분열(分裂)하여 일차(一次) suspensor 층(層)을 이루고 6월초순(月初旬)에 격막(膈膜)이 발생(發生)하였으며 6월중순(月中旬)에 4개(四個)의 유배(幼胚)가 발생(發生)하나 그중 1개(個)가 신장(伸長)하여 6월하순(月下旬)에는 배(胚)의 기관(器官)이 분화(分化)하기 시작(始作)하였으며 8월하순(月下旬)~9월초순(月初旬)에 배(胚)가 성숙(成熟)하였다. 4. 구과(毬果)의 생장(生長) 1) 개화당년(開花當年)의 6월중순(月中旬)~7월중순(月中旬)에 걸쳐 유구과(幼毬果)가 크게 생장(生長)하고 8월중순이후(月中旬以後) 정지(停止)되였는데 개화시(開花時)의 자화(雌花)에 비(比)하여 길이 1.6배(倍) 폭 3.3배(倍) 중량(重量)이 약(約) 22배(倍)에 달(達)하였다. 2) 개화익년(開花翌年)에는 3월상순(月上旬)부터 생장(生長)이 시작(始作)되어 4월중순(月中旬)~7월상순(月上旬)에 걸쳐 크게 생장(生長)하였으며 성숙기(成熟期)의 구과(毬果)는 개화직후(開花直後)의 유구과(幼毬果)에 비(比)하면 길이 7배(倍) 폭 12~15배(倍)에 달(達)하였다. 3) 구과중(毬果重)은 장란기(藏卵器) 형성기(形成期)에 65% 증가(增加)되고 수정후(受精後)에는 점진적(漸進的)으로 증가(增加)되어 7월하순(月下旬)에는 자화중(雌花重)의 660배(倍)로서 정점(頂點)을 이루고 그 후점차(後漸次) 감소(減少)되었다. 4) 구과(毬果)는 96~133개(個)의 인편(鱗片)으로 되어있고 종자(種子)가든 유효인편율(有效鱗片率)은 69~80%이며 성숙기(成熟期)의 구과장(毬果長)이 11~13cm 구과내종자수(毬果內種子數)는 90~150립(粒)이며 비립율(粃粒率)은 8~15%이었다. 5. 종피(種皮)의 형성(形成) 1) 자화(雌花)의 주피층분화(珠皮層分化)는 5월중순(月中旬)부터 시작(始作)되고 개화익춘(開花翌春)부터 활발(活潑)히 이루어져 외종피층(外種皮層)은 7월중순(月中旬)의 $703{\mu}$을 정점(頂點)으로하여 그후(後) 함수율(含水率)의 감소(減少)와 각질화(角質化)에 의(依)해 성숙기(成熟期)에는 $550{\sim}580{\mu}$로 감소(減少)되고 이때 외종피(外種皮)의 표피조직(表皮組織)이 분화(分化)하였다. 2) 성숙종자(成熟種子)의 외종피구조(外種皮構造)는 3~4층(層)의 표피세포층(表皮細胞層)과 16~21층(層)의 석세포(石細胞)로 되어 있고 그 내측(內側)에 1~2열(列)의 유조직층(柔組織層)을 이루고 있다. 3) 내종피(內種皮)는 외종피(外種皮)보다는 50~60일(日) 빠른 5월중순경(月中旬頃)에 최대층폭(最大層幅)($667{\mu}$)을 이루고 성숙종자(成熟種子)의 경우(境遇) 그 폭(幅)이 $80{\sim}90{\mu}$으로 감소(減少)되었다. 6. 함수율(含水率)의 변화(變化) 1) 수정후점차(受精後漸次) 증가(增加)되어 6월상순(月上旬)~중순경(中旬頃) 정점(頂點)에 달(達)하고 그후(後) 점감(漸減)되어 성숙기(成熟期)에는 구과(毬果) 43~48% 외종피(外種皮) 23~25% 내종피(內種皮) 32~37% 내종피(內種皮)와 배유(胚乳) 및 배(胚)는 23~26%배(胚)와 배유(胚乳)는 21~24% 배(胚)는 36~40%이었다. 2) 구과(毬果)의 발육(發育)과 함수율(含水率)의 증감관계(增減關係)를 종합(綜合)하면 다음과 같다. 제1기(第一期)(구과생장왕성기(毬果生長旺盛期) 수정후(受精後) 구과(毬果)의 발육왕성기(發育旺盛期))로서 최대함수량(最大含水量)을 나타내는 시기(時期)(4월하순(月下旬)--6월중순(月中旬)). 제2기(第二期)(배(胚) 및 영양조직형성기(營養組織形成期)) 유배(幼胚)가 발생(發生)되고 배유(胚乳)의 영양조직(營養組織)이 형성(形成)되며 함수율(含水率)이 점진적(漸進的)으로 고정(固定)되는 시기(時期)(6월중순(月中旬)~7월중순(月中旬)). 제3기(第三期)(성숙기(成熟期)) 내종피층폭(內種皮層幅)의 감소(減少)와 배(胚)의 성숙(成熟)으로 함수율(含水率)이 점차(漸次) 감소(減少)되고 실편(實片)이 황록색(黃綠色)으로 변색(變色)되는 시기(時期)(7월하순(月下旬)~8월하순(月下旬)). 제4기(第四期)(건조기(乾燥期)) 종자(種子)가 성숙(成熟)하여 함수율(含水率)이 급감(急減)되고 실편(實片)이 건조(乾燥) 위축(萎縮)하는 시기(時期)(9월초순이후(9月初旬以後)). 7. 함유물질(含有物質)의 변화(變化) 1) 종자내(種子內)의 유지(油脂)는 수정후(受精後) suspensor 층(層)이 형성(形成)되는 5월상순(月上旬)부터 점차(漸次) 증가(增加)되고 배(胚)의 기관(器官)이 분화(分化)되는 시기(時期)부터 급감(急減)되어 성숙종자(成熟種子)의 함유율(含油率)이 65~68%로서 호도와 참깨 야자수 열매등(等) 유지작물(油脂作物)보다 많았으며 배유(胚乳)보다 배(胚)의 함유율(含油率)이 높았다. 2) 수정후구과(受精後毬果)의 생장(生長) 왕성기(旺盛期)에 환원당(還元糖)의 함량(含量)이 일시증가(一時增加)하였으나 6월상순(月上旬)부터 점감(漸減)되고 비환원당(非還元糖)이 증가(增加)하였다. 배(胚)의 전당함량(全糖含量)은 7월하순(月下旬)부터 점차적(漸次的)으로 증가(增加)하였는데 그 대부분(大部分)이 비환원당(非還元糖)이였으며 환원당(還元糖)은 비환원당(非還元糖)의 약(約) 1/10에 불과(不過)하였다. 3) 단백질(蛋白質)의 함량(含量)은 5월하순(月下旬)부터 점차(漸次) 증가(增加)하였으며 성숙종자(成熟種子)의 경우(境遇) 48.8%였으며 배(胚)보다 배유(胚乳)쪽이 많았다. 8. 종자(種子)의 형질(形質) 성숙(成熟)한 종자(種子)는 외관상(外觀上) 다갈색(茶褐色)이고 길이는 1.3~1.9cm 폭(幅) 0.8~1.4cm 중량(重量) 0.43~0.48g이였으며 외종피(外種皮)는 종자중량(種子重量)의 61~65% 배(胚)는 2.3~3.5% 내종피(內種皮)와 배(胚) 및 배유(胚乳)는 33~36%이였다. 9. 발아력(發芽力)의 검정(檢定) 7월하순(月下旬)부터 9월중순(月中旬)까지 7일간격(日間隔)으로 채종(採種)하여 환원법(還元法)과 배적출(胚摘出) 배양(培養) 및 일반발아시험등(一般發芽試驗等) 세가지 방법(方法)으로 발아력(發芽力)을 검토(檢討)한 결과(結果) 수정(受精) 4개월후(個月後)인 8월하순(月下旬)부터 정상적(正常的)인 발아력(發芽力)을 갖게 되었고 이때 종자(種子)의 함수량(含水量)이 22~25%이었다. 이로 미루어 잣나무의 채종적기(採種適期)는 9월상순(月上旬)이라고 볼 수 있다.

마치종(馬齒種)옥수수의 품종별(品種別) 지질조성(脂質組成)의 비교(比較) (Comparative Studies on the Lipid Composition in Varieties of Dent Corn)

  • 마치종(馬齒種) 6개 품종(品種) 옥수수의 총지질(總脂質), 중성지질(中性脂質)및 극성지질(極性脂質)을 구성(構成)하는 지질성분(脂質成分), 지방산조성(脂肪酸組成) 그리고 총지질(總質)의 sterol조성(組成)을 GLC, TLC, TLC-scanner 및 column chromatography를 이용(利用)하여 정량(定量)한 결과(結果) 다음과 같은 결론(結論)을 얻었다. 1) 옥수수의 총지질(總脂質)은 $3.7{\sim}5.3%$의 함량분포(舍量分布)를 보여 평균(平均) 4.7%였다. 2) 총지질(總脂質)의 구성지질성분(構成脂質成分)은 TG, FFA, lano-sterol. hydrocarbon & ES 그리고 PL & Pigment를 함유(含有)하며, TG는 제천옥(堤川玉)과 황옥(黃玉)3호(號)에서 다소(多少) 높았다. 3) 총지질(總脂質)의 지방산조성(脂肪酸組成)은 linoleic, oleic 그리고 palmitic acid가 주성분(主成分)을 이루고, 제천옥(堤川玉)에서는 linoleic acid가 가장 높은 반면에, oleic과 palmitic acid는 가장 낮게 나타났다. 4) 총지질(總脂質)의 불험화물(不驗化物)은 $2.0{\sim}2.7%$의 함량분포(含量分布)를 보였고, 진주옥(晋州玉)에서 다소(多少) 높게 나타났다. 4-desmethylsterol조성(組成)은 sitosterol, campesterol 그리고 stigmasterol이 주성분(主成分)을 이루고, 진주옥(晋州玉)에서 sitosterol이 가장 높게 나타났다. 한편, 4-monomethylsterol조성(組成)은 obtusifoliol, gramisterol 그리고 citrostadienol이 주성분(主成分)을 이루고, 광옥(光玉)과 진주옥(晋州玉)에서 obtusifoliol과 citrostadlenol이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 5) 총지질(總脂質)을 구성(構成)하는 중성지질(中性脂質)의 함량(合量)은 수원(水原)19호(號), 광옥(光玉), 구성옥(橫城玉) 그리고 진주옥(晋州玉)이 제천옥(堤川玉)과 황옥(黃玉)3호(號)보다 높게 나타났으며, 당지질(糖脂質)과 순지질(燐脂質)은 이와 반대(反對) 경향(傾向)을 보였다. 6) 중성지질(中性脂質)의 구성지질성분(構成脂質成分)은 TG, lanosterol, cholesterol, FFA 그리고 ES가 주성분(主成分)을 이루고있었다. 7) 중성지질(中性脂質)의 지방산조성(脂肪酸組成)은 linoleic, oleic그리고 palmitic acid가 주성분(主成分)을 이루고, 수원(水原)19호(號)와 제천옥(堤川玉)에서는 linoleic acid가 가장 높게 나타났다. 8) 당지질(糖脂質)의 구성지질성분(構成脂質成分)은 MGS, MGC 그리고 MGDG를 함유(含有)하며, MGS와 MGC는 진주옥(晋州玉)에서 가장 높은 반면에, 횡성옥(橫城玉)과 제천옥(堤川玉)에서는 가장 낮게 나타났다. 9) 총지질(脂質)의 지방산조성(脂肪酸組成)은 oleic, palmitic, linoleic그리고 heptadecanoic acid가 주성분(主成分)을이루고, 진주옥(晋州玉)에서 oleic acid가 가장 높은 반면에 heptadecanoic acid는 가장 낮게 나타났고, 제천옥(堤川玉)에서는 이와 반대(反對) 경향(傾向)을 보였다. 10) 순지질(燐脂質)의 구성지질성분(構成脂質成分)은 PI 및 PC를 함유(舍有)하며, 횡성옥(橫城玉)과 황옥(黃玉) 3호(號)에서 PI가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 11) 순지질(燐脂質)의 지방산조성(脂肪酸組成)은 palmitic, heptadecanoic 그리고 oleic acid가 주성분(主成分)을 이루고, 횡성옥(橫城玉)에서 oleic acid가 가장 높은 반면에, heptadecanoic acid는 가장 낮게 나타났다.

  • 《해악전도첩(海嶽全圖帖)》은 금강산과 해금강, 관동팔경을 그린 60점의 실경산수화와 51편의 기문(記文)으로 이루어진 화첩으로 규모와 화풍에 있어 보기 드문 작품이다. 그림의 특징은 화면을 가득 채운 구성과 남종화풍을 따르면서도 거칠고 파격적인 화법, 산석(山石)의 기하학적이고 입체적인 표현 등이다. 1973년의 특별전, '한국미술이천년(韓國美術二千年)'을 처음으로 화첩의 일부만 공개되었던 작품은 2019년 국립중앙박물관 특별전 '우리 강산을 그리다: 화가의 시선, 조선시대 실경산수화'에서 그 전모가 공개되었다. 《해악전도첩》이 김응환(金應煥)(1742~1789)의 작품으로 알려진 것은 화첩의 마지막 장에 쓰여진 관지(款識)와 현재 행방이 묘연한 <칠보대>에 찍힌 '복헌'이라는 도장 때문이었다. 그러나 김응환을 지시하는 관지와 도장은 모두 후대에 더해졌을 가능성이 크다. 본 연구는 화첩을 둘러싼 여러 요소를 고찰하여 제작자를 재검토하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 《해악전도첩》 제작 배경을 이해하기 위해 먼저 18세기 금강산 기행사경도의 전통과 봉명사경을 살펴보았다. 정선(鄭敾)(1676~1759)의 《신묘년풍악도첩(辛卯年楓嶽圖)帖》(1711)을 비롯하여 심사정(沈師正)(1707~1769), 김윤겸(金允謙)(1711~1775), 최북(崔北)(1712~1786 이후), 강세황(姜世晃)(1713~1791) 등은 조선 후기 최고의 여행지였던 금강산을 유람하고 기행사경도를 제작하였다. 화가들은 이전의 전통을 계승하여 내금강의 명승명소를 주로 그렸고, 자신들이 경험한 장소를 새롭게 시각화하였다. 이러한 기행사경도는 여행을 기념하며 동행자나 후원자를 위해 여러 장면을 담을 수 있는 화첩 형식으로 제작되었다. 개별적인 금강산 기행사 경도의 제작이 증가하는 가운데 1788년에 정조(正祖)(재위 1776~1800)가 도화서 화원인 김응환과 김홍도(金弘道)(1745~1806 이후)에게 영동9군과 금강산의 명승(名勝)을 그려오도록 명한 일은 공적 업무였다. 정조는 이들의 관계 및 지방관으로서의 경력, 서로 다른 화풍 등을 고려해 봉명사경의 화원으로 선발하였다. 김응환과 김홍도는 영조(英祖)(재위 1724~1776)조부터 도화서 화원으로 활동하며 선후배이자 동료로서 친밀한 관계를 유지했다. 나아가 이들은 영남 지역의 찰방(察訪)으로서 지방관의 업무를 수행한 경험이 있었다. 두 화원의 화풍은 서로 달라 김홍도는 부드럽고도 섬세하게 필선을 운용한 반면, 김응환은 굳세면서도 울창한 풍치를 잘 표현했다. 두 명의 화원은 각자의 개성으로 봉명사경 기간 동안 100여 폭의 초본을 그렸고, 이를 선별하여 60~70여 폭의 화첩 혹은 두루마리를 완성하였다. 이들의 그림은 18세기 전중반에 내금강과 관동팔경 위주로 제작된 금강산 기행사경도의 전통을 더욱 풍부하게 했고 영동과 외금강의 명승명소를 새롭게 발견하며 소재를 확장시켰다. 현재 《해악전도첩》은 원(元), 형(亨), 이(利), 정(貞) 4책으로 이루어졌는데, 원(元), 형(亨)책은 내금강의 그림 29점이며 이(利)책은 외금강의 장면 17점, 정(貞)책은 해금강과 관동팔경 14점으로 구성되었다. 비단 위에 그려진 각 그림은 기하학적으로 산석을 표현했으며, 연백으로 금강산의 암봉을 흰색 혹은 회청색으로 표현했다. 《해악전도첩》의 구도와 화법은 정선, 강세황, 심사정, 정충엽(鄭忠燁)(1725~1800 이후), 김응환, 김홍도의 화법과 비교할 수 있어 18세기 후반의 시대 양식을 갖는다. 특히 화첩의 일부 그림은 김홍도의 《해동명산도첩(海東名山圖帖)》(1788)과 구성 및 회화적 모티프가 매우 유사하여 두 화첩간의 연관성을 보여준다. 반면에 <영랑호>, <해산정>, <월송정> 등은 김홍도의 그림과는 구별된다. 이를 통해 화가가 김홍도와 영향을 주고받으면서도 자신만의 개성적인 화첩을 제작했음을 추측해 볼 수 있다. 《해악전도첩》에는 다른 화첩에는 등장하지 않는 <자운담>, <백운대>, <안문점망비로봉>, <백정봉> 등이 포함되어 있으며 각 장면마다 경물의 특징을 구체적이고 참신하게 묘사하였다. 특히, 화가는 산석을 기하학적으로 표현하고 선과 면을 도드라지게 하여 입체감을 강조하였다. 그는 남종화풍을 바탕으로 자신만의 화법을 확립했고 이를 자유자재로 운용하면서 화면에 동적인 리듬감을 부여했다. 이처럼 60점의 그림은 거칠고 파격적으로 보이지만 나름의 질서 안에서 일관성을 견지하고 있다. 본고는 화법과 봉명사경의 정황을 종합해 《해악전도첩》의 제작자를 김응환으로 추론하였다. 나아가 김하종(金夏鍾)(1793~1878 이후)의 《풍악권(楓嶽卷)》(1865년 이후)과의 친연성은 《해악전도첩》의 화가를 김응환으로 추정한 또 하나의 이유였다. 《해악전도첩》은 김홍도의 《해산첩》과는 달리 후대에 미친 영향력이 미비한데 김하종의 《풍악권》만이 《해악전도첩》의 소재와 화법을 따르고 있다. 김하종은 《풍악권》에서 50년 전, 춘천부사 이광문(李光文)(1778~1838)을 위해 제작한 《해산도첩》(1816)과는 전혀 다른 화법을 구사했다. 그는 김응환의 《해악전도첩》과 유사한 구성과 회화적 요소, 화보식 인물표현을 따르면서 사의적인 분위기를 강조하였다. 개성김씨의 일원이자 김응환의 종손인 김하종은 가문에 전해지는 《해악전도첩》류의 그림을 감상했고 이를 새롭게 번안했다고 추측된다. 화첩에 포함된 51편의 기문은 그림 다음 장에서 그려진 장소를 설명하고 있어 각 그림을 이해하고 감상하는 데 도움을 준다. 기문은 그림과 밀접한 관계를 가지며 앞의 장소로부터의 이동 정보, 이름의 유래, 지형적 특징, 관련 정보 등이 서술되었다. 이와 같은 백과사전식 혹은 지리지와 같은 기문은 19세기 전반에 나타나기 시작했으며, 금강산 화첩류에 더해졌다. 《해악전도첩》의 백화암 기문에는 1845년의 암자에 대한 중건 내용이 기록되어, 기문의 연대를 추정하는 중요한 근거가 되었다. 김하종에게 《풍악권》을 주문한 이유원(李裕元)(1814~1888)도 각 그림에 글을 붙였는데 이 글들은 김응환의 화첩에 포함된 기문 51편과 내용 및 서술방식이 흡사하다. 이유원의 기문은 《해악전도첩》의 기문이나 그 초고(원본)와 관련성이 높지만 두 화첩의 기문 필사의 선후관계를 판정하는 데에는 좀더 면밀한 검토가 필요하다. 《해악전도첩》은 김홍도의 봉명사경 초본 및 김홍도의 영향으로 제작된 19세기의 금강산 화첩과는 구별된다. 이 화첩은 화원 김응환의 회화세계를 이해할 수 있는 지평을 넓히고 18세기 후반 실경산수화의 또 다른 층위를 보여주고 있어 중요한 의미를 갖는다.

  • 토양정밀조사결과 우리나라에서 밝혀진 235 개(個)의 토양통에 대하여 분류체계를 확립(確立)코저 미국(美國)의 신토양분류법에 준(準)하였는바 60개(個)의 아군으로 구분할 수 있었다. 그러나 수도재배기간중(水稻栽培期間中) 담수상태(湛水狀態)를 유지(維持)하게되는 답토양들은 신분류법(新分類法)에 분류기준(分類基準)이 확립(確立)되어 있지않아 토양형태적특성에 입각(立脚)하여 분류(分類)코저 할때 무리(無理)가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 답토양의 분류상(分類上) 문제시(問題視)된 것은 토양아군의 수준(水準)에서 18개(個)였으며 이들 새로운 아군에 대하여 분류기준(分類基準)을 설정(設定)(Setup)하였는 바 그 분류시안(分類試案)의 내용(內容)을 요약(要略)하면 다음과 같다. Fluventic Thapto-Histic Aeric Hapldquepts: Fluventic Thapto-Histic Haplaquepts보다 지하수위(地下水位)가 비교적(比較的) 낮으므로 토양배수가 약간 불량(不良)한 회색토(灰色土)로 봉남통(鳳南統)이 이에 속(屬)한다. Fluventic Aeric Sulfic Haplaquepts: Fluventic Aeric Haplaquepts에 비(比)하여 토심(土深) 50~150cm 사이에 황색반문(黃色斑紋)(PH<4.0)인 유화물집적층이 있는 회색토(灰色土)로 등구통이 이에 속(屬)한다. Fluventic Sulfaquepts: 이들 토양은 주(主)로 강하류(江下流)에서 바다로 유입(流入)되는 지점(地点) 및 간석 소택지에 분포(分布)되며 표토(表土)에서 50cm이내(以內)에 유화물집적층이 있는 습답으로 봉림(鳳林) 및 해척통(海拓統)이 이에 속(屬)한다. Fluventic Aeric Sulfaquepts: Fluventic Sulfaquepts 보다 지하수위(地下水位)가 비교적(比較的) 깊으므로 토양 배수(排水)가 약간 불량(不良)한 회색토(灰色土)로 김해통(金海統)이 이에 속(屬)한다.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. The procedure has the following three distinct stages. First, the initial center is estimated by the initial center estimation algorithm which is applied to decimated image. Third, best-fit boundary is detected by the cost function which is based on the best-fit elliptic model. We use combination of MLP and fuzzy filter for pattern recognition to estimate the direction of a muscle and Hogan's method for the force estimation. The main unit includes a 12.1" TFT color LCD, a main CPU board, and peripherals such as a module controller, Ethernet LAN card, video card, rotate/push button controller, etc. The main unit can connect at maximum three module cases each of which can accommodate up to 7 parameter modules. They include the modules for electrocardiograph, respiration, invasive blood pressure, noninvasive blood pressure, temperature, and SpO2 with Plethysmograph.

김제만경평야(金堤萬頃平野)의 답토양특성(沓土壤特性)과 그 분류(分類)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Characteristics and classification of paddy soils on the Gimje-Mangyeong plains)

  • 우리나라 답토양(畓土壤)에 대(對)한 토지(土地)의 합리적(合理的) 이용(利用), 토지기반조성(土地基盤造成) 및 생산성 향상(向上) 그리고 토양(土壤)에 관(關)한 조사연구(調査硏究)의 방향(方向)을 뒷받침하기 위(爲)하여 김제만경평야(金堤萬頃平野)에 분포(分布)하고 있는 답토양(畓土壤)에 대(對)한 형태(形態) 및 이화학적(理化學的) 특성(特性) 그리고 그와 수도수량(水稻收量)과의 관계(關係)를 구명(究明)하고 이를 기초(基礎)로 하여 답토양(沓土壤)의 분류법(分類法)과 적성등급구분(適性等級區分)을 시안(試案)하였는 바 그 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 답토양(畓土壤)의 형태(形態), 이화학적(理化學的) 특성(特性) 및 그와 수도수량(水稻收量)과의 관계(關係) 김제(金堤) 만경평야(萬頃平野)에 분포(分布)하고 있는 15개(個) 답토양통(畓土壤統)에 대(對)하여 이들 토양(土壤)의 형태(形態), 이화학적(理化學的) 특성(特性)을 보면 다음과 같다. 토양단면(土壤斷面)의 발달정도(發達程度)를 보면 공덕(孔德), 김제(金堤), 만경(萬頃), 백구(白鷗), 봉남(鳳南), 부용(芙蓉), 수암(水岩), 전북(全北), 지산(芝山) 및 호남통(湖南統)는 B(Cambic B)층(層)이 있고 극락(極樂)과 화동통(華東統)은 Bt(Argillic B)층(層)이 있으나 광활(廣活), 신답(新踏) 및 화계통(華溪統)에는 B층(層) 혹(或)은 Bt층(層)이 없다. 특(特)히 공덕(孔德) 및 봉남통(鳳南統)은 흑니층(黑尼層)이 심토(心土) 하부(下部)에 개재(介在)되여 있다. 토양단면(土壤斷面)의 토색(土色)을 보면 공덕(孔德), 광활(廣活), 백구(白鷗) 및 신답통(新踏統)은 대체(大體)로 청회색(靑灰色), 암회색(暗灰色)을 띄우고 김제(金堤), 만경(萬頃), 봉남(鳳南), 부용(芙蓉), 수암(水岩), 전북(全北), 지산(芝山) 및 호남통(湖南統)은 회색(灰色), 회갈색(灰褐色)을 띠우며 극락(極樂), 화계(華溪) 및 화동통(華東統)은 표토(表土) 및 표토하부(表土下部)의 회색(灰色)을 제외(除外)하고 황갈색(黃褐色), 갈색(褐色)을 띠운다. 토양단면(土壤斷面)의 토성(土性)을 보면 공덕(孔德), 극락(極樂), 김제(金堤), 봉남부용(鳳南芙蓉), 호남(湖南) 및 화동통(華東統)은 식질(埴質)이고 백구(白鷗), 전북(全北) 및 지산통(芝山統)은 식양질(埴壤質) 혹은 미사식양질(微砂埴壤質)이며 광활(廣活), 만경(萬頃) 및 수암통(水岩統)은 미사사양질(微砂砂壤質) 그리고 신답(新踏) 및 화계통(華溪統)은 사질(砂質) 혹은 석력사질(石礫砂質)이다. 표토(表土)의 탄소함량(炭素含量)은 0.29%~2.18% 범위(範圍)에 있으나 1.0~2.0%인 것이 많으며 표토(表土)의 전질소함량(全窒素含量)은 0.03%~0.24% 범위(範圍)에 있다. 이들은 심토(心土) 혹은 기층(基層)으로 갈수록 감소(減少)되는 경향(傾向)이나 불규칙적(不規則的)이다. 표토(表土)의 탄질비(炭窒比)는 4.6~15.5 범위(範圍)인데 8~10인 것이 많으며 심토(心土) 및 기층(基層)에서는 표토(表土)에 비(比)하여 그 범위(範圍)가 커서 3.0~20.25이다. 토양반응(土壤反應)은 pH4.5~8.0 범위(範圍)에 있으나 광활(廣活) 및 만경통(萬頃統)을 제외(除外)하고는 모두 산성(酸性)이다. 염기치환용량(鹽基置換容量)은 표토(表土)에서는 5~13 me/100g 범위(範圍)이며 심토(心土) 및 기층(基層)에서는 사질토양(砂質土壤)을 제외(除外)하고 모두 10~20 me/100g 범위(範圍)에 있다. 염기포화도(鹽基飽和度)는 공덕(孔德) 및 백구통(白鷗統)을 제외(除外)하고는 모두 60% 이상(以上)이다. 표토(表土)의 활성철함량(活性鐵含量)은 0.45~1.81% 범위(範圍)이고 역환원성(易還元性)망간은 15~148ppm 범위(範圍)이며 유효규산은 36~366ppm 범위(範圍)에 있다. 이들 3성분(成分)의 용탈(溶脫) 및 집적(集積)은 토양배수(土壤排水), 토성조건(土性條件)에 따라 다르지만 대체(大體)로 10~70cm 범위(範圍)에 집적(集積)하고 있으나 규산(珪酸)은 경우(境遇)에 따라 철(鐵), 망간 보다 깊은 층위(層位)에 집적(集積)되여 있다. 각(各) 토양통(土壤統)의 주요특성(主要特性)은 해안(海岸)에서 부터 거리에 따라 점변(漸變)하고 있으며 점토(粘土), 유기탄소(有機炭素) 및 pH는 해안(海岸)으로 부터 내륙(內陸)으로 옮겨가는 거리와 다음과 같은 상관(相關)이 있다. y(표상(表上)의 점토함량(粘土含量)) = $$-0.2491x^2+6.0388x-1.1251$$ y (심토(心土) 및 표토하부(表土下部)의 점토함량(粘土含量)) = $$-0.31646x^+7.84818x-2.50008$$ y(표토(表土)의 유기탄소함량(有機炭素含量)) = $$-0.0089x^2+0.2192x+0.1366$$ 로서 내륙(內陸)으로 갈수록 높아지는 경향(傾向)이며 y(심토(心土) 및 표토하부(表土下部)의 pH) = $$0.0178x^2-0.4534x-8.353$$ 로서 내륙(內陸)으로 갈수록 낮다. 토양(土壤)의 형태(形態) 및 이화학적(理化學的) 특성(特性)에 있어 특기(特記)되는 것은 토양(土壤)의 발달도(發達度), 토색(土色), 모재(母材)의 다원적(多元的) 퇴적(堆積), 유기물층(有機物層)의 개입(介入), 토성(土性) 및 토양반응(土壤反應) 등(等)이였으며 이들은 답토양(畓土壤)의 분류(分類)에서 고려(考濾)되여야 할 사항(事項)이였다. 토양(土壤)의 몇가지 특성(特性)과 수도수량(水稻收量)과의 관계(關係)에서 토양배수(土壤排水)가 약간양호(若干良好) 내지(乃至) 불량(不良)한 식질토(埴質土), 양질토(壤質土) 그리고 유효심도가 낮은(50cm) 식질토(埴質土)들은 수량(收量)이 대부분(大部分) 10a당(當) 375kg 이상(以上)이며 사질토(砂質土), 배수(排水)가 양호(良好)한 식질토(埴質土), 유효심도가 낮은 양질토(壤質土) 및 함염토(含鹽土)들은 수량(收量)이 대부분(大部分) 10a당(當) 375kg미만(未滿)이다. 수도수량(水稻收量)에 영향(影響)을 미치는 토양(土壤)의 형태적(形態的) 특성(特性)은 토양배수(土壤排水), 토성(土性), 유효심도, 표토(表土) 및 표토하부(表土下部)의 회색화(灰色化) 그리고 염농도(鹽濃度) 등(等)이며 이들은 답토양(畓土壤)의 적성등급구분(適性等級區分)에서 고려(考慮)되여야 할 사항(事項)이였다. 2. 답토양(畓土壤)의 분류(分類) 및 적성등급구분(適性等級區分) 답토양(畓土壤)의 분류기준(分類基準)은 토양(土壤) 자체(自體)가 가지고 있는 성질(性質)에 근거(根據)를 두었다. 토양분류단위(土壤分類單位)는 토양대군(土壤大群), 토양군(土壤群), 토양아군(土壤亞群), 토양계(土壤系) 그리고 토양통(土壤統)의 5단계(段階)를 두고 분류(分類)의 기본(基本) 단위(單位)는 토양통(土壤統)으로 하였다. 토양분류(土壤分類)에 있어 형태적(形態的) 특성(特性)의 차이(差異)를 결정(決定)하기 위(爲)하여 2종류(種類)의 특징토층(特徵土層) 즉(卽) 숙성토층(熟成土層) 및 반숙토층(半熟土層)을 설정(設定)하여 이들의 유무(有無) 및 종류(種類)를 토양대군(土壤大群)의 분류기준(分類基準)으로 하였다. 토양군(土壤群) 및 토양아군(土壤亞群)의 분류(分類)에 있어 고려(考慮)되여야 할 특징적(特徵的) 토양특성(土壤特性)은 우선(于先), 토색(土色), 염농도(鹽濃度), 표토(表土) 및 표토(表土) 하부(下部)의 회색화(灰色化), 토사(土砂)의 다원적(多元的) 퇴적(堆積) 그리고 유기물층(有機物層)의 개입(介入)으로 하였으며 토양계(土壤系)의 분류(分類)에서 고려(考慮)한 토양특성(土壤特性)은 토양반응(土壤反應), 토성(土性) 및 석력함량(石礫含量)에 근거(根據)를 두어 분류(分類)하는 한편 이들에 대(對)한 정의(定義)를 내렸다. 그리고 필자(筆者)의 시안(試案)과 기존(旣存)의 분류안(分類案)을 상호비교(相互比較)하여 검토(檢討)하였다. 답토양(畓土壤)의 적성등급구분(適性等級區分)은 인위적(人爲的) 작용(作用)에 의(依)한 가변성(可變性)이 적은 토양특성(土壤特性)을 토대(土臺)로 하였으며 등급구분단위(等級區分單位)는 등급(等級) 및 아급(亞級)의 2단계(段階)를 두었다. 등급(等級)은 토양(土壤)의 잠재생산력(潛在生産力)이 어느 주어진 단위(範圍)에서 같고 토지이용(土地利用) 및 관리(管理)의 난이(難易)를 고려(考慮)한 토양조건(土壤條件)에 따라 1급(級)에서 4 급지(級地)까지의 4 등급(等級)으로 구분(區分)하였고 아급(亞級)은 동일등급내(同一等級內)에서 중요(重要)한 제한인자(制限因子)로 하였으며 그 인자(因子)는 경사(傾斜), 저염(低濕), 사질(砂質) 석력(石礫), 염해(鹽害), 미력(美熟)이다. 이들 등급(等級) 및 아급(亞級)을 각각(各各) 정의(定義)를 하였으며 아울러 분류시안(分類試案)과의 연관성(連關性)을 검토(檢討)하였다. 김제(金堤) 만경평야(萬頃平野)의 15개(個) 답토양통(畓土壤統)의 분류(分類) 및 적성등급(適性等級) 구분시안(區分試案)을 종합(綜合)하여 보면 다음과 같다.
