The focus of Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) has been extended to inter-business process that cuts across independent companies. Combined with Supply Chain Management (SCM), inter-business process reengineering (IBPR) focuses on synchronization of business activities among trading partners to achieve performance improvements in inventory management and cycle time. This paper reviews the business process reengineering movement from the historical perspective and presents a case of inter-business process reengineering using the latest internet-based Business-to- Business (B2B) technology based on Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR). The case demonstrates how CPFR technology reengineers the distribution process between Heineken USA and its distributors. As world's first implementor of web-based collaborative planning system, Heineken USA reduces cycle time from determining the customer need to delivery of the need by 50% and increases sales revenue by 10%. B2B commerce on the internet is predicted to grow from $90 billion in 1999 to $2.0 trillion in 2003. This paper provides the management with the bench-marking case on inter-business process reengineering using B2B e-commerce technology.

Collaborative ontology construction is the latest trend in developing ontologies. In this technique domain specialists and ontologists need to work together. Because of the complexity associated with ontology construction, it's done in an iterative and incremental fashion. After each iteration, an ontology increment will be produced. Current ontology increment is always an enhanced version of the previous increment. Each ontology increment has to be verified for its accuracy. Domain specialists' contribution is very significant in accomplishing this necessity. Unfortunately, non-computing domain specialists (i.e. medical doctors, bankers, lawyers) are illiterate on semantic concepts. Therefore, validating the accuracy of the ontology increment is a complex hurdle for them. This research proposes verbalization approach to address this complexity.
Human behavior and emotions are influenced by experiences accumulated through the past and present. To realize artificial intelligence technology that understands and sympathizes with humans, cognitive computing technology that automatically analyzes human behaviors, habits, and emotions associated with specific situations and uses past data and domain knowledge is required. In this study, we examine the latest research trends on human-understanding cognitive computing technology that recognizes human behavior and emotions, stores them as experience data, and provides services by analyzing the stored data. Further, we introduce high-quality data collection research in real-life and services for improving physical and mental health. We also review key issues essential for developing these technologies.

Wrestling is one of the popular events for modern sports. It is difficult to quantitatively describe a wrestling game between athletes. And deep learning can help wrestling training by human recognition techniques. Based on the characteristics of latest wrestling competition rules and human recognition technologies, a set of wrestling competition video analysis and retrieval system is proposed. This system uses a combination of literature method, observation method, interview method and mathematical statistics to conduct statistics, analysis, research and discussion on the application of technology. Combined the system application in targeted movement technology. A deep learning-based facial recognition psychological feature analysis method for the training and competition of classical wrestling after the implementation of the new rules is proposed. The experimental results of this paper showed that the proportion of natural emotions of male and female wrestlers was about 50%, indicating that the wrestler's mentality was relatively stable before the intense physical confrontation, and the test of the system also proved the stability of the system.
Lignin-derived porous carbon has been identified as a versatile electrode material for supercapacitors (SCs) in energy storage systems (ESSs) owing to their intrinsic advantages including good electrical conductivity, low cost, high thermal and chemical stability, and high porosity, which stem from high surface, appropriate pore distribution, tailored morphologies, heterostructures, and diverse derivates. In this review, to provide a fundamental understanding of the properties of lignin, we first summarize the origin, historical development, and basic physicochemical properties. Next, we describe essential strategies for the preparation of lignin-derived porous carbon electrode materials and then highlight the latest advances in the utilization of lignin-derived porous carbon materials as advanced electrode materials. Finally, we provide some of our own insights into the major challenges and prospective research directions of lignin-derived porous carbon materials for supercapacitors. We believe that this review will provide general guidance for the design of next-generation electrode materials for supercapacitors.

Despite a recent surge in multifaceted research on AI-integrated language learning, empirical studies in this area remain limited. This study adopts a Human-Generative AI parallel processing model to examine students' perceptions, asking 182 college students to independently construct knowledge and then compare their efforts with the results generated through in-classroom conversations with ChatGPT 3.5. In questionnaire responses, most students indicated that they found these activities useful and expressed a keen interest in learning various ways to utilize generative AI for language learning with instructor guidance. The findings confirm that ChatGPT's potential as a virtual conversation partner. Identifying specific reasons for the perceived usefulness of conversation activities and drawbacks of ChatGPT, this study emphasizes the importance of teachers staying informed about both the latest advances in technology and their limitations. We recommend that teachers endeavor to creatively design various classroom activities using AI technology.

Objective: The purpose of this paper is to review, with the main focus on aviation safety technology and management program, how human factors are currently taken into consideration within transportation sectors, especially aviation, and to further share related information. Background: Human factors account for the majority of aviation accidents/incidents. Thus, the aviation sector has been comparatively quick in developing and applying technologies and management programs that deal with human factors. This paper reviews the latest safety technologies and management programs regarding human factors and aims to identify the trend. Method: This paper, based on literature research and practical experience, examines the latest international standards on technologies and management programs, those that deal with human factors and are adopted by international and domestic aviation organization. The main focus of discussion is how human factors are reflected during the system design and operation process. Results: The current most important issue in designing is the consideration of human factors in Cockpit, Automation, and Safety system technology design. From an operational point of view, the issues at hand are screening and training aviation workers to promote aviation safety, providing education on human factors and CRM/TEM, and running a safety management program to implement SMS. They were discussed based on the operational experience within the aviation sector. Conclusion: Major examples of a human factors approach to promote aviation safety are safety programs and various safety and monitoring technologies applied to aviation personnel for error management. These programs must be managed in an integrated manner that takes both the system designing and operational point of view into account. Application: It is thought that the human factors approach for promoting aviation safety reviewed in this paper can be extended and applied to safety management programs in other transportation sectors such as the railroad, maritime, road traffic etc.
Among the factors of living environment, the one that is the most closely related with our living is the building. It is one of the biggest reasons for energy consumption as it forms 36% of the total energy consumption. Technologies equipped with excellent energy performance can hardly be applied to rural areas that are relatively poorer. Still, 89.8% rural residents are living in detached houses, and backward houses increase their financial burden and result in reduced insulation performance. Accordingly, this study is going to review the latest research written after 2000 dealing with rural houses and their insulation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of insulation and how to improve insulation performance, conduct field research to find out how to apply low energy technologies applicable to houses with the subjects of experimental houses, the passive houses located in Jecheon City, Hongcheon Saldun zero energy houses, and energy independence villages, and find out how to perform follow-up research on insulation for rural houses. According to the findings, the latest research on insulation for rural houses is mostly focused on walls as well as windows and doors. Also, as ways to improve insulation performance, it suggests us to use high performance insulators, introduce new regeneration energy technology, and secure hermeticity. In addition, through field research, this author could find out low energy technologies applicable to houses such as solar energy facilities and heat recovery systems. Advanced research on insulation for rural houses has been focused on how to use materials or new regeneration energy, so follow-up research will have to consider the types of farming area or the residents' mode of living.
