Listeners' perception toward stuttering has been considered an important factor to the diagnosis and treatment of stuttering. This study intended to examine perceptual differences between speech language pathologists and laypeople toward children and adults with stuttering. A Total of 102 subjects were surveyed. speech language pathologists' perception was more stereotypical than that of laypeople. laypeople perceived adults and children with no significant differences but, clinicians viewed adults more stereotypically. speech language pathologists were not influenced by experiencer, but experienced laypeople perceived children more negatively although people who have stuttering family members showed a less stereotypically. item analysis revealed that both groups showed different perspectives between adults and children with stuttering.

A comutation server is needed to provide analysis programs to Korean biologists, especially genome researchers, on GINet. For each analysis program, we implmented an input form with HTML and a CGI program for interface between an input form and an analysis program with C language on GINet computatin Web server. We made two construction methods of CGI programs for analysis programs, and implemented all CGI programs based on the methods followed by modifying each CGI program for specific processing of each program. On the server ten programs are availabel now, which include most frequently used ones and those developed by our team, and most programs with will be ported or developed by our team will be available on the Web server.

The object-oriented programming languages are widely used in the modern software engineering. The procedural type FEM codes are still used because it is very hard and cost consuming job to re-code them into object-oriented programs. In this study, a FEM program was newly designed and coded with C++, an object-oriented language. Also a special programming technique, auto-loading technique was developed for open structured program, with which the extension and maintenance can be carried out easily. For example, the additions of element libraries to an existence FEM program do not require any modifications of the program.

Purpose In this study, we propose the special purposed R package named ""new_Noun()" to process nonstandard texts appeared in various social networks. As the Big data is getting interested, R - analysis tool and open source software is also getting more attention in many fields. Design/methodology/approach With more than 9,000 R packages, R provides a user-friendly functions of a variety of data mining, social network analysis and simulation functions such as statistical analysis, classification, prediction, clustering and association analysis. Especially, "KoNLP" - natural language processing package for Korean language - has reduced the time and effort of many researchers. However, as the social data increases, the informal expressions of Hangeul (Korean character) such as emoticons, informal terms and symbols make the difficulties increase in natural language processing. Findings In this study, to solve the these difficulties, special algorithms that upgrade existing open source natural language processing package have been researched. By utilizing the "KoNLP" package and analyzing the main functions in noun extracting command, we developed a new integrated noun processing package "new_Noun()" function to extract nouns which improves more than 29.1% compared with existing package.

4차 산업혁명과 인공지능이 대두되면서 사회구조가 변화하고 있으며, 미래 인재 양성을 위한 인공지능 교육에 대한 세계적인 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 고등학교 1학년 학습자를 위한 인공지능 융합 국어 교과 교육 프로그램을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하여 ADDIE 모형에 근거하여 교수·학습 프로그램을 개발하였다. 교육 프로그램의 효과를 평가하기 위해 미래 핵심역량 4C(Collaboration-협업, Communication-의사소통, Critical Thinking-비판적 사고, Creativity-창의력)과 지식정보처리 역량에 대한 사전-사후 검사를 수행하였고 총 9차시 동안 4개의 작은 프로젝트들로 수업을 구성하여 학생들에게 인공지능을 융합한 국어 교과 교육의 새로운 경험을 제공하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 프로그램 적용 학생들은 모든 영역에서 미래 핵심역량의 향상을 나타냈으며, 만족도 및 질적 분석에서도 긍정적인 결과를 도출했다. 이를 통해 본 프로그램이 고등학교 국어 교육에 인공지능을 성공적으로 융합하여 학생들의 미래 인재 양성에 기여 할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

본 연구는 효과적인 이야기 전달을 위한 활동 프로그램이 이야기할머니와 유아 간의 공감능력 및 언어교수효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 강원·수·권, 경상도권 이야기할머니 51명이었다. 연구도구는 이야기할머니와 유아간의 공감능력을 측정하기 위해 전병성(2002)의 정서공감척도를 사용하였고, 언어교수효능감을 측정하기 위해 김정화, 이영애(2011)의 언어교수효능감 척도를 사용하였다. 본 '효과적인 이야기 전달을 위한 활동 프로그램'은 2017년 3월 6일부터 7월 27일에 걸쳐 본 연구자에 의해 실시되었다. 자료분석은 두 변인의 사전-사후점수 간의 차이를 알아보기 위해 대응표본 t-검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, '효과적인 이야기 전달을 위한 활동 프로그램' 적용 후의 이야기할머니와 유아 간의 인지적 공감능력 점수가 사전점수보다 유의한 차이로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, '효과적인 이야기 전달을 위한 활동 프로그램' 적용 후의 이야기할머니의 개인효능감과 결과기대효능감 등의 언어교수효능감 점수가 사전점수보다 유의한 차이로 높게 나타났다. 결론적으로, '효과적인 이야기 전달을 위한 활동 프로그램'은 이야기할머니들의 인지적 공감능력과 언어교수효능감 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 시사한다.

This paper is to broaden the possible spectrums of analyzing the Korean-written novel "The Vegetarian" by using the computational linguistics program. Through the use of language model, which was usually used in bi-gram analysis in corpus linguistics, to the International Man Booker award winning novel, the characteristics of "The Vegetarian" is investigated by comparing it to the English-written novel "A Little Life".

The objectives of this paper are to introduce some characteristics of two-dimensional concept of quality and to find out the possibility of the application of two-dimensional quality concept for improving the service quality. The concept was applied to small & medium-sized foreign language Institute. In order to select some service quality dimensions and decide attractive qualify factors among numerous factors, factor analysis and frequently analysis were used. The result. is that all quality factors in empathy dimension are identified as attractive quality factors. This implies that customization program is necessary in small & medium-sized foreign language institutes for improving their competitiveness. However, all quality factors in tangibles dimension are identified as must-be quality factors.

The purpose of this study is to examine Korean teachers' needs in in-service teacher training and variables related to their needs. This study was conducted with teachers from Korean language centers in Korean universities. The following three research questions were investigated: (1) What are the teachers' experiences of Korean language teaching and in-service teacher training? (2) What are the teachers' needs and expectations for the content and components of in-service education programs? Are there any disparity between teachers' needs and institutional needs? (3) What are the variables to be considered in designing an effective in-service teacher education program? In order to answer the research questions, a survey was developed and distributed to university Korean language institutions and Korean language teachers. The results indicated that both institutions and teachers are highly aware of the importance of the need for in-service teacher training. The results also suggested that a more teacher-centered, bottom-up approach should be implemented for successful outcomes of teacher education programs. Based on the results, this study offers a summary of the need for in-service teacher training and variables (both individual teacher variables and environmental variables) to be considered in designing the content and components of a teacher education program.
