음압자극에 대한 경락의 근전도 및 경혈의 수분도.탄성도 변화 분석 (Analysis of Moisture, Elasticity and EMG Change on Meridian Acupoints by Cupping(Negative Pressure) Stimulation)

  • 부항요법은 다양한 질환에 치료목적으로 널리 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 부항에 대한 경락과 경혈의 상태 변화에 관한 연구가 전무한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 부항자극에 대한 경락경혈의 상태변화를 분석하여 인체 전체에 미치는 파급효과를 확인하고자하였다. 이에 일정 음압(30kPa)으로 자극 가능한 시스템을 개발하였으며, 좌측 수태음폐경(LU)의 협백(LU4)과 척택(LU5)의 경락선상 중간지점을 자극하였다. 좌/우 수태음폐경의 경혈 및 비경혈에서 수분, 탄성도를 측정하였으며 상완이두박근에서 EMG 신호를 자극 전/후 측정하여 부항 요법이 인체에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 그 결과, 자극 전/후 수분의 변화는 12.49%로 미비하였으며, 탄성도는 64.42%로 높은 변화를 확인하였다. 또한, 경혈이 비경혈 보다 탄성도 변화가 많았으며, 좌측보다 우측에서의 탄성도 변화가 많이 관찰되었다. 좌/우 EMG 신호의 RMS와 Median Power가 유의하게 낮아졌으나 Median frequency에서는 유의성을 확인할 수 없었다. 따라서, 음압자극은 경락경혈의 탄성도 및 근전도 변화를 유도함으로써 인체 전체에 파급적 효과를 줄 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • $Ce^{3+}$ 이온을 도핑한 $(Ce_xLu_{1-x})_3MgAl_3SiO_{12}$ 형광체 샘플을 고상합성법으로 합성하였다. 열처리 온도를 1250부터 $1550^{\circ}C$ 온도영역에서 조절하면서 5 h 동안 소성하였으며, 소성된 샘플들의 XRD와 PL 특성을 조사하여 가장 최적의 열처리 온도를 구하고자 하였다. 또한 $Ce^{3+}$ 이온의 도핑농도를 2.0에서 10.0 mol%로 변화시키면서 $Ce^{3+}$ 이온의 도핑농도와 광학적 특성과의 관계를 고찰하였다. $Ce^{3+}$ 이온의 도핑농도에 따른 형광체들의 PL 강도, 피크위치, 반치폭을 계산하여 실제적인 LED 패키징에 가장 적절한 Ce 도핑 농도를 구하고자 하였다. 또한 최적의 소성온도와 Ce 도핑농도 조건에서 합성한 형광체 샘플의 입도와 입형을 분석하였다.

고전콘텐츠에 나타난 공(公)개념의 재해석 (Reinterpretation of the Concept "Publicity" in Ancient Classics of Asia)

  • 본 논문은 동양 고전에서 담고 있는 '공(公)'개념을 분석 정리하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다 고전 콘텐츠인 '시경(詩經)', '맹자(孟子)', '윤언(論語)', 晦菴集(회암집)', '日知錄(일지록)' 등을 통해 '공(公)'개념을 접근했다. 본 논문은 '시경(詩經)'에서는 통치영역으로서 '공(公)', 공자익 '윤언(論語)'를 통해서는 종법적 질서로서 '공(公)', '공자(孟子)'에서는 군주의 권위로서 공(公), 주자의 '회암집(晦菴集)'에서는 정치적 지배영역으로서 공(公),고염무의 '일지록(日知錄)'은 공사(公私)의 일원성으로서 공(公)으로 각각 나누고 '공(公)'개념을 재해석하고자 했다.

Up- and Down-Conversion Luminescence of LuNbO4:Yb3+, Er3+ Phosphors

  • Up-conversion (UC) and down-conversion (DC) luminescence of $LuNbO_4:0.18Yb^{3+}$, $xEr^{3+}$ (x = 0.01-0.07) powders were investigated. Post-annealed powders were composed of a single $LuNbO_4$ phase with a monoclinic fergusonite structure, whereas as-calcined powders contained a small amount of the $Li_3NbO_4$ impurity phase. Under near infrared radiation, the UC spectra of the post-annealed powders exhibited the strong green and weak red emission peaks assigned to the transition of $^2H_{11/2}/^4S_{3/2}$ and $^4F_{9/2}$ to the ground state ($^4I_{15/2}$) of $Er^{3+}$ ions, respectively; the green and red emission intensities were approximately 330 and 270% stronger, respectively, than those of the as-calcined powders. A two-photon UC process was involved in the emission as a result of an energy transfer from $Yb^{3+}$ to $Er^{3+}$. Under ultraviolet radiation, the DC spectra exhibited broad blue and sharp green emission bands. The DC mechanism was explained using self-activated $[NbO_4]^{3-}$ niobates and an energy transfer from $[NbO_4]^{3-}$ to $Er^{3+}$.

  • ($^{11}$B NMR measurements have been performed on single crystals of LuNi$_2$B$_2$C superconductor to investigate vortex lattice structures and dynamical behavior. The spectrum in the superconducting state is significantly broadened by local field inhomogeneity due to the vortex lattice and the peak point of the spectrum shifts toward low magnetic field due to the imperfect field penetration. The linewidth of the spectrum reflecting local field variation is much smaller than expected for conventional vortex lattices and shows peculiar increase at low temperature. Furthermore, the transverse relaxation rate, 1/T$_2$, probing the slow motion of vortices, exhibits a single peak as temperature decreases. These prominent results highlight significant fluctuation of vortices even for this low T$_c$, and nearly isotropic 3D superconductor.

Cecropin Suppresses Human Hepatocellular Carcinoma BEL-7402 Cell Growth and Survival in vivo without Side-Toxicity

  • Conventional chemotherapy against hepatocellular carcinoma typically causes various side effects. Our previous study showed that cecropin of Musca domestica can induce apoptosis in human hepatocellular carcinoma BEL-7402 cells in vitro. However, whether cecropin inhibits BEL-7402 cell in vivo and the question of possible side effects remained undentified. The present study confirmed tumor-inhibitory effects of cecropin in vivo, and furthermore strongly suggested that cecropin cytotoxicity in BEL-7402 cells in vivo may be mainly derived from its pro-apoptotic action. Specifically, we found that cecropin exerted no obvious side effects in tumor-bearing mice as it had no significant hematoxicity as well as visceral toxicity. Therefore, cecropin may be a potential candidate for further investigation as an antitumor agent against hepatocellular carcinoma.

비정렬 격자상에서 비압축성 유동해석을 위한 음해법에 대한 연구 (A STUDY ON IMPLICIT METHOD FOR SOLVING INCOMPRESSIBLE FLOW WITH UNSTRUCTURED MESHES)

  • A new and efficient implicit scheme is proposed to obtain a steady-state solution in time integration and the comparison of characteristics with the approximation ways for the implicit method to solve the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations is provided. The conservative, finite-volume cell-vertex upwind scheme and artificial compressibility method using dual time stepping for time accuracy is applied in this paper. The numerical results obtained indicate that the direct application of Jacobian matrix to the Lower and upper sweeps of implicit LU-SGS leads to better performance as well as convergence regardless of CFL number and true time step than explicit scheme and approximation of Jacobian matrix. The flow simulation around box in uniform flow with unstructured meshes is demonstrated to check the validity of the current formulation.

Determination of Lactulose and Furosine Formation in Heated Milk as a Milk Quality Indicator

  • During heat treatment and storage of milk, deteriorative reaction takes place, which consequently influence on the milk quality. In this study, formation of lactulose and furosine under different thermal conditions and storage conditions, and the ratio of lactulose and furosine (LU/FU) in presence of reconstituted milk powder were determined to establish chemical indicators for heat damages of milk and the adulteration of fresh milk in dairy field. The lactulose and furosine contents linearly increased with increased heating temperature and heating time. It showed high correlation between the formation of lactulose and furosine, and the treatment temperature and time (p<0.05). The lactulose and furosine concentration of HTST milk and UHT milk noticeably increased during storage at $30^{\circ}C$, but there was no noticeable increase of lactulose and furosine concentration at lower storage temperature. In the raw milk, the lactulose and furosine contents greatly increased with the addition of reconstituted milk. The increase level of furosine was much higher than that of lactulose, which consequently resulted in the lower LU/FU ratio in milk as increase of added reconstituted milk amounts. As comparing with raw milk, there was more than twice reduction in LU/FU ratios after the addition of reconstituted milk (p<0.05). It can be concluded that lactulose and furosine are suitable milk quality indicators of heat damage and for demonstrating improper addition of reconstituted milk powder.

Superconducting transitions of LuBa2Cu3O7-z heated under various atmospheres

  • The influence of quenching temperature, heating atmosphere and annealing time on superconducting characteristics has been studied for $LuBa_2Cu_3O_{7-z}$ compound which has been recently synthesized in a nearly phase-pure form. Resistivity measurements for the as-prepared sample heated at $300^{\circ}C$ in oxygen and subsequently quenched into liquid nitrogen revealed that there is no significant change in $T_c$. On the other hand, $T_c$ of the sample slightly increased when the sample was heated at $300^{\circ}C$ either in air or in $N_2$ atmosphere. It was also found that $T_c$ of the sample decreased when the annealing temperature in $N_2$ atmosphere increased above $400^{\circ}C$. The experimental results indicated that the as-prepared sample is under overdoped state. The enhanced superconducting transition observed in the samples after heating at $300^{\circ}C$ in air or $N_2$ atmosphere was discussed in conjunction with a slight removal of oxygen and ordering of oxygen atoms in the as-prepared sample.
