  • 직립 기동 영구자석 동기 전동기(Line-Start Permanet Magnet Synchronous Motor : LSPM)는 기존 3상 유도기에 비해 높은 효율과 역율을 가진다. 또한 제어기를 사용하지 않고 기동 할 수 있다는 장점 때문에 펌프나 팬 등에 단순한 구동원에 적용 할 수 있는 전동기이다. 구조는 유도기와 달리 영구자석이 매입되기 때문에 이에 따라 영구자석의 위치와 크기에 따라 모터의 특성이 변화 한다. 본 논문에서는 실험 계획법과 FEM 유한 요소법을 이용하여 영구자석의 크기는 고정되어 있는 상태에서 영구자석 슬롯의 모양만을 설계 인자에 따라 해석하였다. 그리고 해석을 통한 결과를 비교 분석하여 직립기동 영구자석 동기 전동기의 효율과 토크특성을 개선하고자한다.

  • In this paper, we study about the stator winding magnetization method and the magnetizing fixture magnetization method in post-assembly magnetization. Most of small electrical machine use the stator winding magnetization method but it is impossible to magnetize the permanent magnet by the stator winding magnetization method when the capacity of machine increases and the coercive force of magnet increases. And the eddy current disturbs the magnetization seriously in case of LSPM(Line Start Permanent magnet Motor) that have conductor bar in rotor. Hence, the magnetization fixture is required. So, in this paper we study about the post-assembly magnetization method that can use the stator winding magnetization method or must use the magnetization fixture magnetization method.

Optimal Design of Single-Phase Line-Start Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor by using Design of Experiment (실험계획법을 이용한 단상 유도형 동기전동기의 최적 설계)

  • In this paper, optimized model was designed for the starting characteristic of the Single-Phase Line-Start Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor by using the Design of Experiment. A field pole angle, thickness and distance from center axis of permanent magnet were selected as design factor. We executed the transient state characteristic analysis of 8 test models. The transient state characteristic analysis was executed by using the 2 dimensional Finite Element Method and the Time Difference Method. We checked the fact that the selected design factor affected starting characteristic of the Line-Start Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor. Depend on this result we found the optimized design point by using the response optimization.

  • This paper examines an design of double-barrier rotor structure for improving the efficiency performance in a single-phase line-start permanent magnet(LSPM) motor. By utilizing the advantages of double-barrier rotor design that by increasing reluctance torque generation to compensate magnet torque production, the copper loss reduction is achieved. The optimal approach of response surface methodogy(RSM) is performed for determining a optimum double-barrier rotor structure. The improving of efficiency performance is confirmed by finite element method(FEM) and test.

  • This paper is written by research for the transient characteristics of the Single-phase Line-start permanent Magnet. The Single-phase Line-start permanent Magnet is most likely to substitute for Single-phase Induction Motor which is used about many appliance currently, because that has good points. For example, It has a Line-start of ability and a High-efficiency. And it need not power convergence device. The rotor of The Single-phase Line-start permanent Magnet has cage-bar with permanent magnet. This motor is started by cage-bar. When it entered synchronous condition, the rotor is rotated by the permanent magnet. But the design of the permanent magnet is very important, because the breaking torque of the permanent magnet interrupt to start a rotor. Finally, if Flux Barrier is not concerned, we do not get result of our object. Therefore this thesis is concerned about Flux Barrier.

  • The characteristic of line start permanent magnet(LSPM) motor with overhang structure is analyzed using 3dimensional finite element method(3D FEM). We propose the appropriate overhang length by considering the magnetic flux distribution according to changing overhang length and manufacturing process. 3D FEM analysis is inevitable because the increase of the total flux cannot be appropriately considered in 2D FEM. In equal model specification total flux is recalculated at 3D FEM, because of considering lamination length. This paper compares the characteristic of Back-emf with and without overhang by permanent magnet that has identical volume.

  • Profibus-DP is the performance-optimized version of Profibus, specifically dedicated to time-critical communication between automation systems and distributed peripherals. It is included into the International Fieldbus Standard IEC 61158. In this paper, The ASIC for Profibus-DP simple and intelligent slave is proposed and implemented. It can be fully compatible with Siemens LSPM2 as a pin-to-pin base and it also has a high-level function that can replace current intelligent slave boards with one chip. Also it can be used without special OS coding unlike SPC3 of Siemens.

  • The line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor has a high efficiency and an advantage in constant speed operation regardless of the effect of load variation. However it is difficult to predict the performance of characteristics accurately, because of the unbalanced starting torque with the initial starting position of the rotor and the generation of a break torque. In this paper the dynamic characteristics of the line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor are described and compared with those of the squirrel-cage induction motor through the simulation to find the characteristics of the permanent magnets and the rotor bars in the line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor. Finally this paper gives the comparison between the simulation results and the experiment results.

  • Electric motor efficient improvement from home appliance field is important to the effect reducing the energy consumption. But the electric motor design/analysis technology is still insufficient. Specially the electric motor design/analysis technology of satisfying characteristic of both the induction motor and the synchronous motor such as Line start permanent motor. Therefore the electric motor design/analysis technology is urgently demanded reliability. This paper proposes the sing1e-phase line-start permanent magnet motor to develop the motor it with be able to alternate the sing-phase induction motor it is a refrigerator compressor motor. The sing-phase induction motor is analyzed in the steady state. And we have a certification test to compare our single-phase line-start permanent magnet motor with the sing-phase induction motor. In order to improve the performance, the stator of the single-phase line-start permanent magnet motor is same as the stator of the sing-phase induction motor and changes the rotor form and has the permanent magnet. It used the Finite Element Method(FEM) which is widely used with electronic-magnetic field numerical analysis method.
