전력시스템 동요 억제를 위한 TCSC의 강인한 LQG/LTR 제어기 설계절차에 관한 연구 (Design Procedure of Robust LQG/LTR Controller of TCSC for Damping Power System Oscillations)

  • 본 논문에서는 전력동요 억제를 위한 TCSC의 강인한 LQG/LTR (Linear Quadratic Gaussian with Loop Transfer Recovery) 제어기 설계에 관한 연구를 하였다. LQG/LTR 제어기를 설계할 때 성능을 극대화하기 위해서는 여러 단계의 파라미터 조정을 하여야 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 다 변수 LQG/LTR 안정화 제어기 선계를 체계적으로 할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 설계된 제어기를 실제의 비선형 전력시스템에 적용함으로써 전력동요억제 효과를 검증하였다.

  • This paper deals with wafer temperature uniformity control essential in rapid thermal processing (RTP). One of the important control objectives of RTP is to keep the temperature over the wafer surface as uniformly as possible. For this, a discrete time state equation around the operating point is first identified by using the subspace fitting method, and a multivariable LQG(Linear Quadratic Gaussian) controller is designed based on the identified model. Simulation and experimental results show improvement in temperature uniformity over the conventional PID method.

  • This research is concerned with the active vibration controller design for smart structures by a modified LQG controller. The smart structure is defined as the structure equipped with smart actuators and sensors. Various analog and digital control, techniques aimed for the piezoceramic sensors and actuators have been proposed for the active vibration control of smart structures. In this paper, the modified LQG controller is developed for the active vibration suppression of smart structures to implement the predefined decay rate on modal displacements. The proposed modified LQG controller proved its effectiveness by experiments.

  • In this paper, we present a method of parameterizing LQG which simultaneously stabilizes a set of plant model by employing the well known separation principle and Hurwith polynomial. A conditions for existence of simultaneously stabilizing LQG for, given set of plant is drived. We show that suggested parameterization achieves the closed loop stability by fixed LQG for given set of plant.

  • 본 연구는 칼만(Kalman) 필터 적용에 따른 LQG 제어기의 안정도 여유 상실을 극복하기위해 적용한 LTR 제어 시스템의 성능을 시간영역과 주파수영역에서 분석해 보고, 설계에 중요한 요소인 안정도 여유의 회복이 DUOX 구조물에 대해서도 실현되는지 여부를 확인해 보고자 함에 그 목적이 있다. 제어 대상의 구조물은 4층 골조로서 상부에 TMD와 AMD로 구성된 DUOX 시스템이 설치된 하이브리드 시스템이다. LTR/DUOX 제어기법으로 제어한 결과, 주파수응답의 Bode 선도를 통해 구한 게인 여유가 약 30dB로써 LQG/DUOX 제어기의 유실된 게인 여유를 20배 이상 회복시켜 보다 안정도 강인성이 우수한 제어기 설계가 구현되었다.

  • LQG/LTR method cannot applied to nonminimum phase plant. In this paper, we present a new approximation method which guaratee the approximation error equal to zero and exact loop transfer recovery. Zero structure of plant and approximated plant are considered in approximation procedure. It is shown that the properties of plant and approximated plant at pole and zero frequency response are exactly same. It is shown by example that the suggested method can avoide the NMP plant constraint arised in designing LQG/LTR.

  • The LQG/LTR controller design procedure for ground alignment of inertial platform is accomplished. Due to the alignment system dynamics, LQG/LTR controller is proposed to overcome both singular problem and nonsquare problem. To show the effectiveness of this control system, computer simulation was performed under the assumption of random sway motion.

  • This paper presents robustness properties of LQ regulators for input-delayed systems. Using frequency-domain representations, the Kalman inequality concerning the return-difference matrix is derived. The stability margins of LQ regulators are investigated using the Kalman inequality when the open-loop system is stable. In order to obtain stability margins a upper bound of the solution of LQ Riccati equations is derived. Finally, the LQG/LTR method to improve the robustness of LQG regulators is obtained and illustrated with an example.
