디지털 로드셀을 이용한 WIM 시스템의 개발 (Development of WIM System Using Digital Loadcell)

  • In this study, a signal processing and related techniques for development of a weight measuring system using a digital loadcell which is able to satisfy the important properties of WIM (weighing-in-motion) system have been investigated. A fast and high accurate signal processing of the digital load cell sensor for weighing-in-motion system is presented. A/D conversion system is constructed to realize a stable A/D conversion and signal processing algorithm using DSP and microprocessor. A new technique for vibration and measuring speed of the system is also investigated. The proposed method was applied to the actual design and the experimental results showed good performance of the weighing speed and stability.

  • In this paper, we developed a working adaptation evaluation system using finger force measurement which interact between material and biological system. The system consists of a finger force transducer, a signal conditioner, an A/D converter, a computer, and a software system for data processing. The finger force transducer is made by a load cell and a special mechanism. The data processing software controls the A/D converter, data monitoring, and data analysis for group classification. The developed system were tested by 4 different materials in left hand and the finger forte transducer in the other hand's thumb and index finger with 16 persons. As the results of experiments, the developed system could measure the finger force quantitatively and classify the measured values into four groups.

  • 본 논문은 트렌스포머를 제거하고 부분공짚 스위칭 기법올 적용한 승.강압초퍼와 고효율의 PWM 인버터를 결합한 트렌스포머리스형 계통연계 시스템을 구성하게 되므로 소형경량화가 가능하며, 비용저지감과 신뢰성 향상을 도모할 수 있다. 이러한 시스템의 장점으로서는 태양잔지의 발전전압의 크기에 관계없이 임의의 전력올 부하와 계통에 송전할 수 있으며, 계통과 동상의 신호로 제어함으로서 상 고역률올 얻을 수 있다.

A High Efficiency and High Power Chopper Circuit QRAS using Soft Switching under Test Evaluation at 8kW

  • This paper is a record of the study on a high efficiency and high power chopper based on the new soft switching method QRAS (Quasi~resonant Regenerating Active Snubber) designed for a Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV). This power chopper is basically proposed for 25kHz soft switching. To confirm the practicality and effectiveness of the converter, the fabrication of a prototype-model using IGBTs was completed. Additionally, a 8kW rating test, a light load test, a current discontinuous mode test and a stable operation resonance test was completed. The circuit geometry, the basic operation, and the 8kW one-tenth-prototype test results are reported with a $97.5\%$ efficiency measurement.

  • This paper describes the 40kV solid state pulsed power supply for environmental applications. The output specifications of the pulsed power supply are 40kV, 300A, 3kHz, and average output power of 13kW. In order to generate a high voltage, a series stacking cell structure is used which is charged in parallel and discharged in series. Due to this structure, there is no dynamic voltage balancing problem as well as static voltage balancing problem for switches used in high voltage pulse power supplies. To verify this pulse power supply design, PSpice modeling was performed. Finally, experimental results with non-inductive resistive load and gas treatment reactor proved the reliability of the solid state pulsed power supply.

새로운 Ternary CAM을 이용한 고속 허프만 디코더 설계 (A high speed huffman decoder using new ternary CAM)

  • In this paper, the huffman decoder which is a part of the decoder in JPEG standard format is designed by using a new Ternary CAM. First, the 256 word * 16 bit-size new bit-word all parallel Ternary CAM system is designed and verified using SPICE and CADENCE Verilog-XL, and then the verified novel Ternary CAM is applied to the new huffman decoder architecture of JPEG. So the performnce of the designed CAM cell and it's block is verified. The new Ternary CAM has various applications because it has search data mask and storing data mask function, which enable bit-wise search and don't care state storing. When the CAM is used for huffman look-up table in huffman decoder, the CAM is partitioned according to the decoding symbol frequency. The scheme of partitioning CAM for huffman table overcomes the drawbacks of all-parallel CAM with much power and load. So operation speed and power consumption are improved.

DC 배전을 위한 다중 모드 단일 인덕터 컨버터 (Multi-Mode Single Inductor Converter for DC Grid System with a Battery)

  • This study proposes a new single inductor converter for DC grid systems. A conventional system is composed of two independent converters for controlling battery and load. This system is simple but it has two inductors that affect power density and efficiency. The proposed converter can reduce the number of inductors by integrating the two converters and relieve voltage stress on switches by using a battery switching cell. Accordingly, power density and efficiency can be improved using a single inductor and lower voltage-rated switches. A prototype of a 500 W converter is built, and each mode is experimented on to confirm the validity of the proposed converter.

  • 기존의 게임기를 포함한 여러 입력장치들의 대부분이 미세한 조작과 변위의 변화, 특히 가속도와 변위의 세분화가 어려웠다. 또한 외부의 충격에 내구성이 약한 단점들이 있었다. 본 연구에서는 최근 게임기 산업에서 3차원 입력장치를 필요로 함에 따라 기존의 2차원 변위에 더해서 3차원 입력장치의 구현을 기반으로 저가형의 소형 다축load cell 센서방식을 채택하여 부분 변위의 조작, 내구성과 기존 하드웨어의 단순화 등 여러 면에서 개선이 되었으며, 보다 정밀하고 다양한 입력에 대응하기 위하여 센싱 신호처리 회로의 개선과 디지털 통신방식을 부가하였다. 본 논문에서는 이 구현을 위한 하드웨어와 소프트웨어에 대한 연구결과를 소개하고자 한다.

  • 현재, 전차선의 트롤리선을 설치하는 것은 수작업에 의해 행해지고 있어 작업의 효율화와 함께 최적의 장력제어가 필요하다. 케이블을 새롭게 가설하는 장치는 케이블을 릴에 감아 올릴 필요성은 거의 없기 때문에 케이블을 풀어주는 속도와 로드셀에 의해 장력을 검출하고 장력을 발생하는 하드웨어 구성방법을 연구하는 것이다 본 연구는 현수형 케이블(Catenary Cable)의 동적 모델링을 작성한다. 이 시스템에 대하여 교류서보 전동기를 이용한 장력 발생장치를 모델링한다. 현수형 시스템의 장력계측 장치는 하중변환기(load cell)를 사용하고 수학적 모델링을 행한다. 장력계측 장치에 관해서 스프링 저울을 이용해 출력을 비교 검토한 결과, 인장력을 계측하는 장치로서의 유효성을 확인하였다.

  • The object of the paper is to design two PI controllers. One provides the stable target temperature to the steam reforming reactor in 1kW PEMFC system. The other controls burner to operate within a permissible range of temperature. Feedforward control is applied to obtain temperature stability against disturbances such as changes of operating condition resulted from load change. Step response tests show that these controller work well with an error tolerance of $5^{\circ}C$.
