여름철 냉방시 상대습도가 쾌적감에 미치는 영향(청년과 고령자의 비교를 중심으로) (Effects of relative humidity on comfort sensation by comparison between the young and the aged)

  • Hot and humid weather in summer generally brings about discomfort. Experiments on which relative humidity makes effects on the comfort sensation were performed to the young and the aged using sensation vote. From July to October 1996, seven college students and eleven aged people were exposed for 2 hours under six different conditions in the Pukyong National University test chamber so as to determine the effects of relative humidity on thermal and comfort sensations. Subjects were wearing same clothes, and the mean clo value was 0.5. The mean radiant temperature was equal to the air temperature and air velocity in the occupied zone around 0.lm/s. In the experiments, it was found that discomfort could be largely reduced when the humidity is controlled to low values in the settled high temperature.

New PDP cell structure for high luminous efficacy with low voltage driving

  • We propose a new PDP cell structure named DIDE (Dual Ignition Discharge Electrodes) structure with a long electrode gap to realize a high luminous efficacy. Suggested DIDE structure basically has a long electrode gap $(200{\mu}m{\sim}400{\mu}m)$, nevertheless, because of auxiliary electrodes formed on the front panel, can be driven at relatively low voltage. The discharge characteristic of DIDE structure was much different from that of conventional structure, which was analyzed by IR emission images using IICCD (Image Intensified Charge Coupled Device). The study can explain some particular characteristics of DIDE structure. As a result, the long electrode gap and low voltage effect can be expected in DIDE structure, and a very high luminous efficacy of 7.5 lm/W has been achieved in monochrome green test panel adopting the new cell structure with Ne-Xe (12%) mixture at 400 torr.

  • The present study was conducted to investigate the incidence of Pasteurella multocida infection in cheju swine from March 1994 to December 1994 isolated organisms were identified by the biochemical properties, cellulose serological type and antibiotic susceptibilities. Pasteurella multocida was isolated from the Lungs of 96 pigs with pneumonia(51 %) among 188 slaughtered pigs. The majority of p multocida isolates were identical to those of the standard strains. On the classification of the capsular type of the isolated p multocida it consist of the 88 isolates of type A(91.6%) 2 isolates of type D (2%) and un classified 6 types(6.2%). The majority of the 96 isolates of p multocida highly susceptible to the antibiotics including ampicillin(Am), cephalotin(Ce), erythromycin(Em), gentamycin(Gm), kanamycin(Km), lincomycin(Lm), neomycin(Nm), penicillin(Pc), streptomycin(Sm), solfametoxazol/trimethoprim(Sxt) and tetracycline(Te)

FPGA를 이용한 범용 모션 컨트롤러의 개발 (Development of a General Purpose Motion Controller Using a Field Programmable Gate Array)

  • We have developed a general purpose motion controller using an FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array). The multi-PID controllers and GUI are implemented as a system-on-chip for multi-axis motion control. Comparing with the commercial motion controller LM 629, since it has multi-independent PID controllers, we have several advantages such as space effectiveness, low cost and lower power consumption. In order to test the performance of the proposed controller, motion of the robot hand is controlled. The robot hand has three fingers with 2 joints each. Finger movements show that tracking was very effective. Another experiment of balancing an inverted pendulum on a cart has been conducted to show the generality of the proposed FPGA PID controller. The controller has well maintained the balance of the pendulum.

  • In this paper, we investigate the characteristics of luminous efficacy as a function of Xe partial pressure in AC PDP. SDR structure has shown much larger increment of luminous efficacy compared with the conventional one especially below 10% Xe contents. The luminous efficacy around 4.0 lm/W is achieved with Ne-Xe10%, 400Torr in Monochrome green phosphor test panel under 10kHz continuous sustaining frequency.

  • 본 연구에서는 EPUB기반의e-Book 콘텐츠를 스마트러닝환경에서학습객체로 활용하고자한다. 이를 위해e-Book의 표준인 EPUB을 분석하여 SCORM의 콘텐츠 모델을 적용하여 확장 설계하였으며, 더블린코어와 LOM 메타데이터를 Collection Map을 이용하여 EPUB 기반의 학습객체메타데이터인ELOM을 설계하였다. EPUB기반의 학습객체가 LMS에서 추적관리가 가능하도록 SCORM2004의 CMI 데이터 모델을 바탕으로 학습객체 특성에 맞는 기본 데이터 모델을 정의하였다. 설계된 학습객체의 운용 가능성을 평가하기 위해 EPUP기반 오픈소스 콘텐츠인 모비딕의 bodymatter를 학습객체로 재구현한 후 ADL의 SCORM2004 $4^{th}$ Test Suite1.1.1을 이용하여 검증하였다. 본 연구에서 설계된 ELOM은 스마트 스크린으로 확장하여 적용할 수 있다.

FHD와 QFHD 해상도를 가지는 AC PDP의 방전특성 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on Discharge Characteristics of FHD and QFHD AC PDP)

  • We have investigated the luminous efficiency of various cell resolution and structure from 50" FHD to 50" QFHD Plasma Display. The suggested test panels have two different cell array types which are the delta and matrix cell array type. The results showed that, in the case of the suggested QFHDs, the firing and sustain voltage were increased and voltage margin was decreased. These results are caused by the reduced wall voltage and increased charged particle loss, at the side wall. The luminance of the suggested QFHDs was lower from 20% to 40% than that of the suggested FHDs and the power consumption was higher from 42% to 83% than that of the suggested FHDs. In conclusion, the maximum luminous efficiency of the suggested QFHD(D110) has reached about 38%, compared with suggested FHDs($\fallingdotseq$ 2.7 lm/W).

Highly efficient deep-blue electroluminescence using doped PCVtPh with a new host material

  • Novel blue host material, 4,4'-(dinaphthalen-2-yl)-1,1'-binaphthyl (DNBN), was designed and synthesized for OLEDs. In order to test the electroluminescent properties of DNBN, DNBN was used as the host materials for a blue emitter, PCVtPh. The device exhibited deep-blue emission with the CIEx,y coordinates (x=0.15, y=0.08) at 8.0 V, a luminous efficiency of 1.66 cd/A, a power efficiency of 0.77 lm/W and an external quantum efficiency of 2.30 % at 20 mA/$cm^2$, respectively.

Effect of Auxiliary Address Pulse on Face-to-face Sustain Electrode Structure in AC-PDP

  • The discharge characteristics of the face-to-face sustain electrode structure employing auxiliary address pulse are investigated under a sustain driving frequency of 20 kHz and various auxiliary address pulse widths (500 ns, $1{\mu}s$, $2\;{\mu}s$) in the 6-in. test panel (42-in. Full HD grade) with a pressure of 450 Torr and a 4 % Xe-content. The luminance and the luminous efficiency at the auxiliary address pulse width of 500 ns are improved more than these of $1\;{\mu}s$ and $2\;{\mu}s$. At the auxiliary address pulse width of 500 ns, the luminous efficiency shows about 0.96 lm/W at the auxiliary pulse of 90 V and the sustain voltage of 260 V.

공공도서관 사서의 평생교육업무에 대한 인식 연구 - 인천지역을 중심으로 - (An Analysis on the Perception of Public Librarians about Lifelong Education Tasks: Focus on Incheon Metropolitan City)

  • 본 연구는 공공도서관 사서들이 어려움을 느끼고 있는 평생교육 단위직무를 파악하고 동시에 재교육이 필요한 교육 내용에 대한 우선 순위를 맨휘트니(Mann Whitney U-test), 다중회귀분석(Multiple regression analysis)과 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 분석을 통해 제시하였다. 첫번째, 조사 대상 사서의 87%가 평생교육 직무는 보통이거나 어렵다고 인식하고 있었으며, 단위 업무별로는 운영계획수립을 가장 어려운 직무로 생각하고 있었다. 두번째, 평생교육사 자격이 있는 사서가 없는 경우에 비해 업무를 수월하게 인식하고 있었으며(P=0.04), 단위업무별로는 강사섭외(P=0.04), 운영계획수립(P=0.05)에 있어 유의한 차이가 검증되었다. 또한 평생교육관련 경력이 길수록 업무를 수월하게 (R=-0.217) 느끼는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히, 일정편성(R=-0.33), 진행업무(R=-0.22)에 있어, 통계적으로 유의한 상관성을 보였다. 세번째, 다중회귀분석 결과, 공공도서관 사서들이 평생교육업무 전반에 대하여 느끼는 체감 난이도에 유의한 영향을 주는 단위 직무는 운영계획수립(P=0.04)과 홍보(P=0.05) 업무인 것으로 나타났으며, 그중 운영계획수립(${\beta}=0.233$)이 체감 난이도 형성에 가장 많은 영향을 주는 요인인 것으로 판명되었다. 한편, 91%의 사서가 평생교육 직무 관련 재교육이 필요하다고 느끼고 있으며, 스피어만(Spearman rank-order correlation coefficient) 분석 결과(R=-0.210), 평생교육 업무에 대한 체감 난이도가 높은 사서일수록 재교육 필요성을 더욱 많이 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. AHP 분석 결과 평생교육 직무 관련 재교육 내용은 이용자와의 소통(CU P=0.310), 기획(PL P=0.246), 마케팅(LM P=0.173) 순의 가중치를 보였으며, 도출된 CR(Consistency Ratio) 비율은 0.146으로 계산돼, 응답에 대한 일관성은 허용할 수 있는 수준인 것으로 나타났다.
