임상간호사의 자율성과 직무만족 관련요인의 인과관계 분석 (The Causal Relationships among Nurses' Perceived Autonomy, Job Satisfaction and Realated Variables)

  • The present study examined the causal relationships among nurses' perceived autonomy, job satisfaction, work environment (work overload, role conflict, situational support, head nurses' leadership), personal aspects(experiences, need for achievement, professional knowledge and skill) by constructing and testing a theoretical framework. Based on literature review nurses' perceived autonomy and job satisfaction were conceived of as outcomes of the interplay among work environment and personal characteristics. Work environment factors involved work overload, role conflict, situational support, and head nurses' leadership (task oriented leadership, relation oriented leadership). Personal charateristics included experiences, need for achievement, and professional knowledge and skill. Three large general hospital in Chonbuk were selected to participate. The total sample of 516 registered nurses represents a response rate of 92 percent. Data for this study was collected from July to September in 1998 by Questionnaire. Path analyses with LISREL 7.16 program were used to test the fit of the proposed conceptual model to the data and to examine the causal relationship among variables. The result showed that both the proposed model and the modified model fit the data excellently. It needs to be notified, however, that path analisis can not count measurement errors; measurement error can attenuate estimates of coefficient and explanatory power. Nevertheless the model revealed relatively high explanatory power. 42 percent of nurses' perceived autonomy was explained by predicted variables; 32 percent of nurses' job satisfaction was explained by by predicted variables. Tn predicting nurses' perceived autonomy the findings of this study clearly demonstrated the work overload might be the most important variable of all the antecedent variables. Head nurses' relation oriented leadership, situational supports, need for achievement, and role conflict were also found to be important determinants for nurses' perceived autonomy. As for the job satisfaction, role conflict, situational supports, need for the achievement, and head nurses' relation oriented leadership were in turn important predictors. Unexpectedly the result showed perceived autonomy have few influence on job satisfaction. The results were discussed, including directions for the future research and practical implication drawn from the research were suggested.

관리자 리더십이 조직문화 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향;병원 수간호사를 중심으로 (he Effects of Managerial Leadership on Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment;The Case of Hospital Head Nurses)

  • Purpose : The purpose of the present study was to examine the causal relationships among head nurses' leadership (consideration oriented leadership, structure initiated leadership), nursing unit culture (human development culture, task development culture), and nurses' organizational commitment. Method : Four large general hospitals located in and around Seoul were selected to participate. The total sample of 286 registered nurses represents a response rate of 90 percent. Data for this study was collected from August to September in 2000 by questionnaire. Path analyses with LISREL program were used to test the fit of the proposed model to the data and to examine the causal relationships among variables. Result : Both the proposed model and the modified model fit the data adequately. The model revealed relatively high explanatory power. 52% of human development culture was explained by predicted variables and 44% of task development was explained by predicted variables; 47% of the organizational commitment was explained by predicted variables. In predicting developmental (both human and task) nursing unit culture, the findings of this study clearly demonstrated that head nurses' consideration oriented leadership might be the most important variable. The result also showed that head nurses' consideration oriented leadership might be the most important variable among the predicted variables in predicting organizational commitment. Conclusion : Based on the findings of this study, it was suggested that various studies, for example, matching leadership and nursing unit culture, were needed.

  • 본 연구는 레스토랑 산업에 널리 적용할 수 있는 외식 서비스 품질 측정을 위한 다문항 척도를 개발하였다. 척도 개발을 위해 Kelly Repertory Grid 방법을 이용하여 중요하게 생각하는 레스토랑 품질 속성을 파악한 후 전문가 토론을 수차례 거쳐 유사 중복 항목을 통합하고, 핵심 차원별 주요 속성을 도출하였다. 척도 정제를 위해 신뢰도 분석과 탐색적 요인 분석을 실시하였으며, 이후 각 구성 개념에 대한 중복성 여부를 확인하기 위하여 3차 확인 요인 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 Brady & Cronin(2001)이 제안한 위계적 서비스 품질 모형을 바탕으로 외식 서비스 품질 척도를 개발하였다. 본 연구의 위계적 외식 서비스 품질 모형은 외식 서비스 품질 차원 및 측정 요인을 물리적 환경 품질, 상호 작용 품질, 음식 품질이라는 핵심 차원으로 설명함으로써 요인간의 중복성 완화, 결과와 과정 품질의 균형적 고려, 세 가지 핵심 차원별 관리포인트 명확화, 위계적 모형에 의한 핵심 차원과 하위 차원의 구분 등 이론적 기여 측면에서 뿐만 아니라 관리적 시사점 도출 측면에서도 우위성을 갖는다고 할 수 있다.

기혼여성의 자연가족계획행위와 삶의 질에 관한 구조모형 (A Structural Model on the Quality of Life and Natural Family Planning of Married Women)

  • Purpose: This study was to analyze the quality of life of married women practicing a natural family planning method based on given parameters in order to obtain some specific basic data for developing holistic programs to enhance the quality of life of married women practicing natural family planning. Methods: The subjects of this study were selected from married women who had been practicing natural family planning over two years. Data were collected from May 20 2001 to March 5 2002 using a structured questionnaire and interviews. The total number of subjects was 239. Collected data were analyzed using PC-SAS, which utilized descriptive statistics. In addition, LISREL 8.0 program was used to utilize covariance matrix. Results: The hypothetical model was reasonably fitted to commonly accepted data. Revision was required for the x2 value and RMR, and the model was revised by eliminating 6 paths. The revised model was fit well for commonly accepted data (x2 = 86.26, GFI = 0.97, NFl = 0.98, NNFI = 0.99, AGFI = 0.96, RMR = 0.02, CN= 422). Variables that influence the practice of natural family planning were communication of spouses, knowledge about natural family planning, self-efficacy and perceived benefits. Variables that control the quality of life were self-efficacy, internal health locus of control, attitude toward natural family planning, communication of spouses, perceived benefits and natural family planning behaviors. Conclusions: These findings prove that the quality of life of married women practicing natural family planning can be improved through developing programs that enhances communication of spouses, self-efficacy and perceived benefits.

선호의식 Panel Data를 이용한 동적 경로선택 행동분석 (Behavioral Analysis of Dynamic Route Choice with Stated Preference Panel Data)

  • 본 연구에서는 운전자의 동적 경로선택 행동은 현재의 교통환경 조건뿐만 아니라 과거의 교통환경 및 행동이 현재와 미래에 영향을 미친다는 가정 하에 전주시에 제공될 교통정보를 가상으로 설정하여 선호의식 조사방법에 의해 동일 개인 운전자에게 다시점 반복조사를 실시하였으며, 구조방정식 모델을 구축하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 여행시간정보 변수의 추정계수 및 t 통계 값이 크게 나타나 경로선택에 큰 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었으며, 도심을 관통하는 기린로는 경로선택에 부정적인 반면 도심의 우회도로의 성격을 지닌 천변로는 경로선 택에 긍정적으로 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 구축된 모델에서 가장 적합도가 높은 모델은 상태의존과 계열상관의 개념을 모두 적용한 모델로 나타나 동적모델의 적용 타당성이 보여짐을 알 수 있었으며, 계열상관과 상태의존 추정계수 값을 보면 시간간격이 길수록 추정계수 값이 작게 나타나고 있어 계열상관과 상태의존은 시간간격에 반비례함을 알 수 있었다.

패션브랜드 분류 기준 모형에 관한 연구 - 패션업체 실무자 관점으로 - (A Model of Criteria for Classifying Fashion Brands - from the viewpoint of fashion business practice -)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out criteria for classifying fashion brand from the viewpoint of fashion business practice in order to develop strategy of fashion brands and to manage brand effectively and systematically, and to suggest theoretical frame for application of these criteria. Survey was implemented for this research. 388 Data from the people who works for merchandising, sales or design in fashion business company was analyzed. Questionnaires were developed based on 37 fashion brand classification criteria. SPSS package and LISREL program were used to analyze data. Factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, $$\mu$tiple response analysis, correlation analysis, and structure equation model analysis were applied. The results of this study were as follows First, factor analysis considering 37 classification criteria identified 7 factors as classification criteria which can be used effectively by fashion business company. Second, in two cases, based on the job description and the responsible items, analysis showed that importance of the 7 classification criteria factors was different. And all of 7 criteria were correlated to each other. Third, the effective method to classify fashion brands was proposed by establishing the model of the relationship among the values of 7 criteria and by proving it by the structure equation model analysis. And the two types of the courses to classify fashion brand were shown. Forth, according to the evaluation of these criteria in the importance of appropriateness and difficulty of implementing, classification criteria factor of "the level of product concept" was found to be very effective and "the level of brand value" was ineffective to apply.

조직유착모형의 경험적 적합성에 관한 고찰 - 교사들의 경우를 중심으로 한 한 . 미간 비교연구 - (An Empirical Testing of Employee Attchment Model: A Comprison of South Korean and U.S. Teachers)

  • 본 논문은 피고용자들의 조직에 대한 헌신도와 근속의도에 초점을 두는 피고용자 조직유착(employee organizational attachment)의 인과모형을 비교, 검토한다. 이 논문은 교사들의 조직유착 행위에 대한 두 개의 연구, 즉 미국 시카고 지역 공립학교 교사들에 대한 연구와 한국의 서울시 중등학교 교사들에 대한 연구를 바탕으로 하고 있다. 이 논문의 이론적틀은 Price-Mueller의 조직유착모형이다. 이 모형은 크게 다섯 개 군의 변수들을 포함하고 있다: 1) 일(노동)에 대한 반응변수 - 업무만족도, 헌신도, 근속의도, 2) 심리학적 긴장변수 - 역할애매성, 역할갈등, 업무과부하, 학생들의 자질, 3) 사회적 구조변수 - 자율성, 단순성, 분배정의 승진의 정당성, 4) 경제적 구조변수 - 보수, 직업안정성, 승진기회, 외부 노동시장 기회, 그리고 5) 개인적 성향변수 - 직업헌신도, 노동가치, 기대만족, 긍정적 인성. 자료는 질문지 조사방법으로 수집되었으며, 서울시내 중등교사들을 대상으로 한 표본 조사 결과 649개의 유효사례가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 조직유착의 인과적 모형을 검증하기위해 LISREL을 이용한 공분산구조분석이 사용되었다. 결과에 따르면 근속의도에 대한 외생변수들의 영향을 매개하는 데, 내생변수인 업무만족도와 조직헌신도의 역할이 미국에 비해 크게 작을 뿐만 아니라, 이 모형은 근속의도 변수의 변량을 크게 설명하지도 못한다. 한국과 미국의 이러한 차이는 한국의 교사들이 가지고 있는 고용관계와 노동시장의 구조적 특성들, 즉 강제적 이동과 외부노동시장의 폐쇄성 때문에 나타나는 것으로 보인다. 미국에서 발달한 이러한 조직유착모형은 적용범위(scope condition)를 명시함으로써 예외적인 경험적 자료에 따른 잘못된 무효화를 방지할 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 앞으로 연구는 한국 교사들의 경우와 같은 구조적 제약에서 피고용자들의 조직유착을 가져오는 요인들에 대한 개념적 및 경험적 탐구에 더 많은 관심을 두어야 한다.

초임부의 모성 정체성에 관한 모형구축 (Model Construction of Maternal Identity in Primi-gravida)

  • It was assumed that the maternal identity in primi-gravida is one of the most attribute of the motherhood, that is not biological but cognitive phenomena, appears active process as intelligent human being. The purposes of this study were that the identification the cognitive structure and the influencing factors of the maternal identity in primi-gravida. Theoretical framework in this study, maternal identity in primi-gravida was constructed as a cognitive output, has the cognitive structure of cognitive-perceptual factor, cognitive-behavioral factor, and cognitive-emotional factor. Influencing factors of maternal identity was constructed as a cognitive input, which were pregnancy related perceptions (pregnancy intention, minor discomfort, value of motherhood), interpersonal relationship(relationship with mother, relationship with husband, relationship with social network), preparation to motherhood(maternal knowledge, antenatal self care), and biological factor (gestation period). This study was the descriptive correlational research design, was done from the 3rd January to the 15th March 1996, and the research subjects were selected conviniently 226 the primi-gravida during the gestation period, data collection method was self reported questionnaire cross-sectionally. Descriptive data analysis was done by SAS PC$^{+}$, testing the hypothetical model was done by covariance structural analysis using LISREL 8.03 program. The result of the hypothesis testing, the value of motherhood(y=.650, T=4.26) the maternal knowledge (y=.137, T=2.030), the gestation period( y=.113, T=2.621), showed significant causal effect on the maternal identity in primi-gravida. In conclusion, the maternal identity in primi-gravida had interrelated cognitive structure consist of perceptual, behavioral, and emotional factors. Significant causal factors influencing the maternal identity were value identified. It seems to contribute toward the understanding the characteristics of the maternal identity as a cognitive domains that has been regarded highly abstract concept, so has not been validated empirically.y.

간호사의 직무특성과 개인의 성격이 직무스트레스, 직무만족 및 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of job Characteristics and Personal Factors on Work Stress, Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention)

  • The present study examined the causal relationships among nurses' job environment /job characteristics(work overload, lack of autonomy, professional role conflict, interpersonal relationships), maturity, job stress, job satisfaction and turnover intention by constructing and testing a theoretial framework. Based on Katz and Kahn's (1978) theory of organizational open system and Kahn, Wolfe, Quinn, and Snoek's (1964) theory of stress, nurses' turnover intention, job satisfaction and job stress were conceived of as outcomes of the interplay between personal characteristics and work environment. Personal aspects associated with outcome variables included professional knowlege and skill, and maturity(challenge, commitment, control, responsibility). The work environment factors involved work overload, lack of autonomy, professional role conflict, and interpersonal relationships (social support). Three university hospitals located in Seoul were selected to participate. The total sample of 443 registered nurses represents a response rate of 96 percent. Linear structural relationships (LISREL) technique was used to test the fit of the proposed conceptual model to the data and to examine the causal relationships among variables. The result showed that both the proposed model and the modified model fit the data excellently, revealing considerable explanatinal power for job stress and job satisfaction. The explanatory power of turnover intention was relatively lower than those of stress and satisfaction. In predicting nurses' stress, satisfaction and turnover intention, the findings of this study clearly demonstrated that professional role conflict might be the most important variable of the all the environmental variables and personal characteristics. The results were dis-cussed, including directions for the future research and practical implications drawn from the research were suggested.

유통경로 관리 지배구조가 시장지향성과 수출성과 관계에 미치는 영향 (The Impacts of Distribution Channel Governance on the Relationship between Market Orientation and Export Performance)

  • Purpose - The objectives of this study are as follows. First, it aims to suggest an analysis model that has integrated the relationship between the two factors and export performance and conduct an empirical analysis of the factors. Second, the study seeks to analyze the mediating effect by setting direct channel governance as a specific activity to connect market orientation, a cultural asset, to export performance. Third, through these analyses, the study intends to apply the relationship between market orientation and direct channel governance that the existing studies have failed to observe comprehensively on SMEs in Korea. Based on these analyses, the study expects to expand the discussion of previous researches by analyzing the mediating effect of direct channel governance. Research design, data, and methodology - This study developed a model that has integrated market orientation, direct channel governance, and export performance. It established 7 hypotheses including the mediating effect of direct channel governance. Market orientation was consisted of customer orientation and competitor orientation, and 4 latent variables were measured by 18 questions. LISREL, an analysis tool of structural equation model, was used for hypothesis test and there were 183 sample for analysis. Results - The analysis results showed that customer orientation has a positive influence on direct channel governance, but competitor orientation did not have a statistically significant effect. On the contrary, export performance showed an opposite result. That is, customer orientation did not have any influence but competitor orientation had a significant influence on export performance. It was also confirmed that there was a significant influence in the relationship between channel governance and export performance. According to the analysis of mediating effect, direct channel governance had a full mediating effect between customer orientation and export performance. Conclusions - The study results demonstrated that it is important to build a direct channel governance on the export SMEs in Korea, especially since the direct channel governance complements the influence of customer orientation that does not directly influence export performance among market orientation activities. This implies that Korean export SMEs must strive to build an effective direct channel governance.
