병렬 운전되는 선형 유도전동기의 추력 계측 (Thrust Measurement of Parallel-operated Linear Induction Motors)

  • LIMs propelling the MAGLEV which has been developed in Korea have 3-series and 2-parallel connection, so that 6 LIMs per one vehicle are fed by one inverter. Thrust performance of the parallel-operated LIMs can be different from each other because of variant magnetic air gaps and electrical impedance. The thrust difference between the parallel LIMs cause a twist force on the vehicle. This paper proposes an algorithm to measure thrust of the parallel-operated LIMs. The method uses a digital signal processor(TMS320F2812), voltage and current sensors. As a result, thrust, flux and currents of the parallel-operated small LIMs which are manufactured in our laboratory are monitored by the developed measurement system.

몽골 의료지원용 'M-LIMS' 의 설계 및 분석 (Mongolia Medical Assistance 'M-LIMS' Design and Analysis)

  • 몽골은 현재 국민에 대한 의료 평등이 잘 되어있지 않다. 몽골의 의료 기관은 1,2,3차 기관 세 종류가 있는데 1차는 기본기관, 2,3차는 전문기관이다. 하지만 전문기관은 도시에만 존재하기 때문에 도시권 외 주민들은 전문기관의 의료 서비스를 받기가 매우 힘들다. 게다가 해외 의료 기관들도 모두 수도 울란바토르에 집중되어 있기 때문에 그 격차는 더욱 더 심해진다. 이러한 의료 불평등을 조금이라도 해소하기 위하여 제안하는 것이 'M-LIMS' 이다. 'M-LIMS'는 기본적으로 이동식 병원이다. 'M-LIMS'에서는 환자 진료를 위한 몇 가지 기능을 제공한다. 첫 번째로 환자 관리를 위한 환자용 차트 작성이다. 두 번째로는 환자들의 진료 상황을 볼 수 있는 리스트 검색 및 공유 기능이다. 세 번째로는 환자들의 데이터들을 이용하여 규격화 된 차트로 변환하는 차트 작성 기능이다. 그리고 네 번째로는 차량 내 의사뿐이 아닌 다른 의사도 진료에 참여 할 수 있는 원격 진료 기능이다. 이렇듯 'M-LIMS'의 기능을 이용한다면 몽골의 의료 평등에 한 걸음 더 기여를 할 수 있지 않을까 기대를 한다.

  • 실험실정보관리시스템(LIMS, Laboratory Information Management System)은 실험실 데이터를 저장, 가공, 검색 그리고 분석하기 위한 중앙화된 데이터베이스로서 검사, 분석, 시험 업무를 수행하는 실험실을 위해 특별히 고안된 컴퓨터 시스템 또는 시스템을 의미한다. 특히 LIMS는 실험실의 운영을 지원하는 기능을 갖추고 있으며, 워크플로우 관리나 데이터 추적지원 등이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 실험실의 운영을 위하여 빅데이터 자동화 수집 기술의 하나인 크롤링 기술을 활용하여 웹사이트 및 다양한 채널에 존재하는 데이터를 수집한다. 수집된 시험 방법 및 내용 중 시험자가 활용할 수 있는 유용한 시험 방법 및 내용을 추천한다. 그리고 이에 대한 피드백을 관리하여 수집 채널의 검증이 가능한 상호보완적인 LIMS 플랫폼을 구현한다.

A Study for the design of a Mobile Medical Care System M-LIMS

  • About 30% of Mongolian population is populated in the capital of the nation. Too many hospitals are concentrated in size as compared to the capital. This creates a difficult environment to provide equal distribution of medical benefit. In order to resolve this issue of medical benefit inequality, a portable/travelling medical treatment system using 'M-LIMS' is proposed for real-life application. The system with M-LIMS to be designed will include functions such as composing, sharing charts among doctors, standardizing charts. M-LIMS will be designed considering Mongol's regional characteristics, and application plans will be proposed accordingly.

  • This paper presents the analysis of the analysis of thrust characteristics of linear induction motors(LIMs) according to secondary reaction plate. LIMs are well known as high speed transport systems, which can obtain thrust directly without gears and links, or auxiliary mechanisms. A simple structure, easy maintenance, and less environmental pollution are advantages of LIMs. In transport systems using LIMs, the secondary reaction plate is an important design factor, because it has considerable impact on the cost of the railway as well as the performance of the LIMs.

  • 본 논문은 DNA microarray chip 을 사용한 실험 결과로 생산되는 대량의 데이터를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 LIMS 개발에 대해 기술한다. 기존의 상용 LIMS 는 보편적 패턴과 방식을 정규화하여 제공하기 때문에 실험실의 고유한 방식을 포함하긴 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 유연성 있는 LIMS 를 개발하기 위해 특정 실험 중심으로 설계하면서 MAGE-OM 의 표준을 따르도록 디자인하였고, HYLIMS manager 라는 Local Application 과 검색을 주로 이용하는 사용자를 위하여 Web 검색 시스템을 구현하였다. 데이터베이스의 부하를 줄이기 위해 데이터 저장용 DB 와 검색용 DB 를 구분하였고, 데이터를 타입과 처리 형태에 따라 분류하여 관리하였으며 데이터 보안을 위해 실험 관리자가 사용자의 접근 제한을 설정 할 수 있도록 하였다.

Controlled Release of Cyclosporin A from Liposomes-in-Microspheres as an Oral Delivery System

  • The aim of this study was to prepare cyclosporin A-loaded liposome (CyA-Lip) as an oral delivery carrier, with their encapsulation into microspheres based on alginate or extracellular polysaccharide (EPS) p-m10356. The main advantage of liposomes in the microspheres (LIMs) is to improve the restricted drug release property from liposomes and their stability in the stomach environment. Alginate microspheres containing CyA-Lip were prepared with a spray nozzle; CyA-Liploaded EPS microspheres were also prepared using a w/o emulsion method. The shape of the LIMs was spherical and uniform, and the particle size of the alginate-LIMs ranged from 5 to $10\;{\mu}m$, and that of the EPS-LIMs was about $100\;{\mu}m$. In a release test, release rate of CyA in simulated intestinal fluid (SIF) from the LIMs was significantly enhanced compared to that in simulated gastric fluid (SGF). In addition, the CyA release rates were slower from formulations containing the liposomes compared to the microspheres without the liposome. Therefore, alginate-and EPS-LIMs have the potential for the controlled release of CyA and as an oral delivery system.

  • The analysis of DNA microarray data is a rapidly evolving area of bioinformatics, and various types of microarray are emerging as some of the most exciting technologies for use in biological and clinical research. In recent years, microarray technology has been utilized in various applications such as the profiling of mRNAs, assessment of DNA copy number, genotyping, and detection of methylated sequences. However, the analysis of these heterogeneous microarray platform experiments does not need to be performed separately. Rather, these platforms can be co-analyzed in combination, for cross-validation. There are a number of separate laboratory information management systems (LIMS) that individually address some of the needs for each platform. However, to our knowledge there are no unified LIMS systems capable of organizing all of the information regarding multi-platform microarray experiments, while additionally integrating this information with tools to perform the analysis. In order to address these requirements, we developed a web-based LIMS system that provides an integrated framework for storing and analyzing microarray information generated by the various platforms. This system enables an easy integration of modules that transform, analyze and/or visualize multi-platform microarray data.

A simple structure, easy maintenance, and less environmental pollution are advantages of LIMs. In transport systems using LIMs, the secondary reaction plate is an important design factor, because it has considerable impact on the cost of the railway as well as the performance of the LIMs. This paper deals analyzed the characteristics of linear induction motor used for moving the vehicle of container scanner. Thrust, efficiency and load characteristic were interpreted with FEM regarding two models whose material of secondary reaction plate was copper and aluminum. It suggested the interpretation of thrust, efficiency and power factor characteristic along slip and compared the operation ability of linear induction motor through characteristics analysis along the load.

  • Over time, the import of seafood has been increased causing a corresponding increase in recall and recall costs of the fishery on the threshold level. In order to reduce recall costs and to ensure the safety of imported seafood, a moveable lab and its supporting software specialized in seafood inspection were designed. A new fishery quarantine support system software, ‘M-LIMS’ is proposed to strengthen an inspection and quarantine process for the imported seafood at the local level. This new software reads data from an external inspection equipment when it is connected to a USB or RS232 cable inspection equipment on a regular basis to save a report sent to the server after its use. Reading was possible by reading records on a central server. Each time users can check own data through a mobile device.
