3-dimensional Analysis of a Lift-Magnet for MAGLEV (도시형 자기부상열차용 부상 전자석의 3차원 해석)

  • Magnetic path direction in the back-iron of a linear induction motor(LIM) is perpendicular to that of the lift-magnet of the MAGLEV which is recently developing in KOREA. In general the back-iron is isolated magnetically in conventional rail in order to eliminate the thrust dependency of the LIM on the lift force. However the magnetic isolation causes some increase in construction and management cost. So a unit-type rail system is considered, which the magnetic circuit of the back-iron is sharing that of the lift-magnet. In this paper 3-dimensional analysis for the lift-magnet is carried out using finite element method. As a result, a new shape of the unit-type rail is presented to reduce the magnetic dependency between thrust force and lift force. Also the distribution of magnetic flux density vectors and current-lift force characteristics are presented.

  • In the case of Linear induction motor(LIM), numerical analysis method like Finite Element Method(FEM) has been mainly used to analyze the travelling magnetic field problem which includes the velocity-induced electromotive force. If the problem including the velocity-induced electromotive force is analyzed by FEM using Galerkin method, the solution can be oscillated according to Peclet Number, which is determined by conductivity, permeability, moving velocity and size of mesh. Consequently, the accuracy of the solution can be low and the Loops of flux can be occurred at the secondary back-iron. These loops of flux occurred at the secondary back-iron does not exist physically, but it can be occurred in the analysis. In this case, the loops of flux can be generally removed by using Up-Wind method which is impossible to apply a conventional S/W tool(Maxwell 2D). Therefore, in this paper, authors examined the Loops of flux occurred at the secondary back-iron of LIM according to variations of Peclet Number, and analyzed whether these loops of flux affect on the thrust force characteristics of LIM or not.

High Gain Observer-based Robust Tracking Control of LIM for High Performance Automatic Picking System (고성능 자동피킹 시스템을 위한 선형 유도 모터의 고이득 관측기 기반의 강인 추종 제어)

  • To implement an automatic picking system (APS) in distribution center with high precision and high dynamics, this paper presents a high gain observer-based robust speed controller design for a linear induction motor (LIM) drive. The force disturbance as well as the mechanical parameter variations such as the mass and friction coefficient gives a direct influence on the speed control performance of APS. To guarantee a robust control performance, the system uncertainty caused by the force disturbance and mechanical parameter variations is estimated through a high gain disturbance observer and compensated by a feedforward manner. While a time-varying disturbance due to the mass variation can not be effectively compensated by using the conventional disturbance observer, the proposed scheme shows a robust performance in the presence of such uncertainty. A Simulink library has been developed for the LIM model from the state equation. Through comparative simulations based on Matlab - Simulink, it is proved that the proposed scheme has a robust control nature and is most suitable for APS.

  • 본 연구에서는 카오스 랜덤 PWM(Chaotic Random PWM) 기법에 의한 3상 유도모터의 스위칭 소음 저감에 대하여 다루고 있다. 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 랜덤 발생기로서 선형일치발생기(Linear Congruential Generator : LCG)대신에 로지스트 사상(Logistic Map)의 분기도(Bifurcation Diagram)를 랜덤 발생기로 사용하였다. 카오스 랜덤수 발생기는 80C196 마이크로 콘트롤러가 전담하고 있으며, 80C196으로부터 발생된 카오스랜덤 수와 MAX038에 의하여 삼각파 랜덤 캐리어가 발생되고 있다. 1.5kw급 3상 유도모터 구동 시스템에 카오스 RPWM기법을 적용하여 모터전압 및 전류 그리고 스위칭 소음의 스펙트럼을 고찰하였다. 카오스 RPWM과 LCG에 의한 RPWM의 결과를 각각 비교하였으며 본 연구의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 자기부상열차 시스템의 부상 신뢰도 향상을 위한 선형 유도전동기의 순시 제어기법을 제안한다. 선형 유도전동기는 자기부상열차의 추진을 담당하며, 운전 속도와 입력 주파수에 따른 슬립 특성이 존재한다. 이 슬립 특성은 전동기에서 발생되는 수직력과 밀접한 관련을 보이며, 이는 부상 시스템에 외란으로 작용된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 선형 유도전동기의 특성을 FEM 해석을 통해 정확히 분석하고, 이를 반영한 최적 슬립 주파수 간접벡터제어 기법을 통해 부상 신뢰도 향상을 위한 새로운 순시 제어기법을 제안 하였다.

  • This paper has shown that Linear Induction Motor(LIM) and Rack and pinion type are efficient in selecting railway routes and systems after considering time, geo-spatial characteristics and the floating population by benchmarking domestic and overseas mountain trains. The benefit-cost analysis through the use of modeling on user's willingness to pay is conducted as a means that provides access to tourism resources. this paper concludes that the benefit-cost varies in response to changes in the amount of user's willingness to pay by age. It is expected that this paper serves as a reference data in the introduction stage of the mountain train project implemented by central or local governments with tourism resources in mountainous areas as the mountain train has turned out to be economically efficient while various potential benefits that have not been included in the benefit-cost analysis need to be quantified and remain to be studied further.

  • 본 연구에서는 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 랜덤 수 발생 알고리즘인 LCG(Linear Congruential Generator)대신에 카오스 2중 텐트사상(Tent Mapping)에 의한 저 스위칭 소음 유도모터구동 시스템을 제안하였다. 2중 텐트사상에 의한 랜덤 수 발생을 위해 카오스 발생 영역인 $\lambda=0.99$에서의 2중 텐트사상의 분기도(Bifurcation Diagram)를 사용하였다. 카오스 랜덤수와 3상 기준 정현파는 80C196 마이크로 콘트롤러가 전담하고 있으며, 80C196으로부터 발생된 카오스 랜덤 수에 의하여 MAX038로부터 랜덤 주파수의 삼각파 캐리어가 발생된다. 기계적인 소음이 없는 ECB(Eddy current Brake)를 부하로 사용한 3상 유도모터 구동 장치를 제작하여 본 연구의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • In this paper, a short primary-short secondary single-sided linear induction motor which is used as the driving source for an automatic conveyor system, is selected as an analysis model. The finite element method in which the current vector potential is introduced is adopted to analyze the eddy current distribution and thrust force which are produced according to the relative position of the primary and the secondary. Also, the analysis results are compared with experimental ones, to show the propriety of this model.

  • 본 논문에서는 벡터제어에 근거한 선형 유도 전동기의 추진제어 알고리즘에 대해 보여준다. 기존의 사용해왔던 스칼라제어 방식이 아닌 새로운 전류제어 방식을 사용하며, 기존의 13.5Hz 슬립주파수 일정 제어를 가변하여 플러깅 저감 구간을 축소하고 회생구간을 늘림으로써 운전효율 향상 패턴을 찾는 연구를 진행하였다. 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션을 통해 산출된 최적운전 패턴결과를 반영하여 실험을 통해 이 방법을 제안 하고자 한다.
