The water extracts of Samultang (Samul) has been used for treatment of ischemic heart and brain damage in Oriental traditional medicine. However, little is known about the mechanism by which the water extract of Samul rescues cells from oxidative damages in cisplatin-induced ototoxicity. Cisplatin is a widely used chemotherapeutic agent that is also highly ototoxic. This study was designed to investigate the protective effects of Samul on ciplatin-induced ototoxicity in HEI-OC1 auditory cells and organ of Corti explant culture. Cisplatin markedly decreased the viability of HEI-OC1 auditory cells. However, treatment of HEI-OC1 cells with Samul significantly reduced cisplatin-induced cell death and apoptotic characteristics through reduction of intracellular peroxide generation. Cisplatin induced cytotoxicity in isolated and cultured hair cell progenitors from postnatal rat cochleae. These progenitor cells are isolated from the lesser epithelial ridge (LER, or outer spiral sulcus cell) area of pre-plated neonatal rat cochlear segments. However, Samul completely protected the morphological changes of organ of Corti and LER. Taken together, these data suggest that the protective effects of the water extracts of Samul against cisplatin may be mediated by the reduction of intracellular peroxide generation.

기존의 라우터들로 구성된 인터넷 망에서 트래픽 처리 효율에 한계가 있으며, 이러한 한계를 해결하기 위하여 IP 주소가 아닌 레이블을 기반으로 하는 고속 스위칭 기술인 MPLS 시스템이 구상되었다. 그러나 기존의 ATM 기반의 MPLS 시스템은 QoS (Quality of service) 지원에 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 ATM 스위치 기반의 MPLS 시스템에서 QoS 보장을 위해서 제안된 CR-LDP 프로토콜과 qGSMP 프로토콜을 이용하여 서비스 보장형 네트워크를 구성하는 방법 및 LER 시스템에서 QoS Translation 및 QoS Mapping 기능을 구현하여 implicitly하게 LSP를 설정하는 방법에 대해서 제안하였다.

최근 QoS(Quality of Service)의 요구가 증가되고 망내에서 트래픽이 갈수록 증가함에 따라 확장성을 보장하는 계층형 MPLS 네트워크의 연구가 진행되고 있다. 하지만 계층형 MPLS는 망을 이루는 edge,core망 계층의 증가와 각 망 계층내의 노드 증가에 따라 많은 LER과 링크가 발생하게 되고 이는 계층형 MPLS설치의 설치비용이 증가하는 문제가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 계층형MPLS 망 계층간에 MPLS 네트워크를 구성하여 트래픽이 발생했을 경우 각 망 계층간의 LER수와 링크 수에 따른 패킷의 전송시간을 NS를 통해 시뮬레이션 하여 그 성능을 분석한다. 그 결과, 링크의 수가 증가함에 따라 전송속도의 성능이 향상됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

Considering the higher discharge burnup, lower channel refuelling rate, lower linear element rating(LER), lower coolant void reactivity and axial power shape, CANFLEX-RU fuel bundle is optimized for CANDU-6 by grading the fissile composition in the ring-wise of the bundle and by applying fuel management scheme appropriately. The fissile composition of the fuel bundle is graded as the recovered uranium (0.9 w/o U-235) in the outer and intermediate elements, depleted Uranium (0.2 w/o U-235) in the center element, natural uranium (0.71 w/o U-235) in the inner elements. Enrichment is not required for these fuel. The fissile composition is optimized by lattice calculation and by time-averaged reactor simulation. CANFLEX-RU optimized for CANDU-6 resulted to be the 15% lower channel refuelling rate, acceptable axial power profile and power envelope, 70% higher discharge burnup, 15% lower LER and not increase coolant void reactivity compared with the 37-element natural uranium bundle for CANDU-6.

This study is intended to present the direction for the wholesome development and support of the hotel casino industry in korea through the menu analysis of hotel casino restaurant. Miller's menu analysis was made of a lower food cost percentage in consideration of the quantity sold of each menu item and food cost percentage. As a result, it was shown that the proportion belonging to the upper category in the menu items intended for research in korean casino restaurant, it raises a problem in the menu management of korean casino restaurants.

The objective of a mixed H$_{2}$/H$_{\infty}$ controller of active suspension system is to achieve not only the general performance improvement(H$_{2}$) but also the worst case disturbance rejection(H$_{\infty}$). In this paper, a mixed H$_{2}$/H$_{\infty}$ controller for an active suspension system, comparing the performance with that of an H$_{2}$ controller and of an H$_{\infty}$ controller.ler.EX> controller.

To increase the fuel economy, a reduction of friction loss is important in engines. Experimental investigations have been required for reducing the friction loss of crankshaft bearings. Hydraulic cylinder, and servo control ler system which modified the applied load, and test rig for the observation of the characteristics of engine crankshaft bearings were designed and fabricated. Experiment is performed. Friction torque, journal locus and circumferential temperature variations of crankshaft bearings were measured with appling load, revolution speed, and oil inlet temperature, etc.

본 논문에서는 트래픽 제어를 통해 네트워크 자원을 효율적으로 이용하는 방법을 레이블 할당측면으로 연구하였다. MPLS에서 하나의 레이블은 하나의 LSP(Label Switched Path)를 가진다. LSP가 설정되어 자료의 전송이 이루어지는 중간에 경로를 변경하거나 해야 할 경우로 가정한다. 이 때 각 노드들은 제안하는 알고리즘에 의해 혼잡신호 혹은 혼잡 예고 신호를 수신하여 동적인 방법 혹은 정적인 방법으로 LSP를 재설정하고, 레이블을 다시 할당하게 되는 것이다.이러한 알고리즘을 OPNET을 통해 시뮬레이션한다. 본 시뮬레이션에서는 LSR, LER들로 이루어진 순수한 MPLS 네트워크를 가정한다. 이러한 가정아래 제안된 네트워크의 시뮬레이션하여 네트워크의 활용도를 분석하여 제안하는 알고리즘이 우수성을 보인다.

최근 인터넷 망에서는 사용자에 의한 다양한 IP서비스 요구의 증가와 더불어 목적지를 기반으로 한 Hop by Hop 방식의 패킷 전송으로 인해 트래픽 병목 구간이 늘어나고 있는 실정이다. 트래픽 병목 구간의 증가는 최상의 서비스 품질을 보장받고자 하는 사용자의 요구를 충족시키지 못한다. 사용자의 요구를 충족시키기 위해 QoS 지원이 용이한 MPLS 망이 부각되었다. 본 논문에서는 MPLS 망에서 QoS를 보장하기 위해서 Ingreess LER(Label Edge Router)에서 패킷과 LSP간의 매핑을 위해 이전 MPLS 레이블 스택을 새롭게 정의하고 변경된 레이블 스택을 지원하기 위한 LSR의 구조를 설계한다.

SDN(Software Defined Network)기술은 네트워크 제어기능이 기존의 스위치나 라우터 등의 하드웨어와 별도로 분리되어야 하고 데이터 전달기능과도 역시 분리되어 개발 및 실행될 수 있는 네트워크 구조를 말한다. 네트워크를 계획하고 디자인할 때에는 SDN 기술을 적용하여 반영해야 자원을 효율적으로 반영할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 일명 Applications SDN을 제안하며 이는 MPLS(Multiprotocol Label Switching) IOS의 절대적으로 필요한 부분을 코딩한 프로그램과 기존 IOS를 결합한 이점(Combined Benefits)을 통해 Controller 부분을 완성하여 적용한 모델을 제안한다. OpenFlow Controller는 LER(Label Edge Router)에 명령을 하고 라우터는 그 명령에 따라 패킷을 EXP bit에 따라 목적지로 전송한다. TCP/IP를 코딩을 통해 최적화된 IOS로 구성한다. OpenFlow 프로토콜을 이용하여 컨트롤러는 MPLS의 정의된 헤더를 패킷에 캡슐화 하여 전송한다.
