Implementation of a LED light control module using Zigbee (Zigbee를 이용한 LED 조명 제어 모듈 구성)

  • The purpose of this paper was to make a LED light control module using Zigbee. The module was made so that brightness of the LED light changes according to the ambient brightness. A 8-bit microcontroller was used to implement the module to enable LED dimming and wireless light intensity measurement. Using the proposed method, power consumption can be improved by up to 48% on average, with 3.4-0.4W changes in power. The measured ambient light intensity values are converted from analog to digital and outputted as a PWM waveform. According to the output waveform and changes in the current outputted from the LED driver, the brightness of the LED light is controlled. Also, Zigbee with close-range wireless communication capabilities was used to enable wireless transmission of light intensity measurements.

  • 최근 친환경적이고 에너지 효율이 우수한 LED 조명에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라 현재 학교 조명으로 사용하고 있는 형광등을 대체하고 있다. 형광등은 점멸빈도가 높으면 수명이 단축되며 상황에 따라 조명 환경을 동적으로 재구성하기에 용이하지 않은 단점을 가진 조명장치이다. 이와 달리 LED는 광원의 다양한 조합을 통해 정밀한 제어가 가능하여 상황에 따라 적합한 조명 환경을 제공함으로써 재실자의 시각적 쾌적성 및 작업 능률 향상 등의 효과를 가져온다. 본 논문에서는 교실 환경을 대상으로 요일 및 시간, 교과목 종류 등의 스케쥴 정보와 교사의 위치 및 행위를 기반으로 각 상황에 적합한 최적의 조명 환경을 제공하여 학습 능률을 향상시키기 위한 상황인지기반의 LED조명제어시스템을 개발한다. 제안한 시스템의 성능 평가를 위해 교실 환경 테스트베드를 구축하고 조명 환경 지표를 이용하여 교실 내 조명장치의 색온도, 조도를 제어한다.

  • 본 논문에는 Flyback컨버터의 PWM방식과 조명용 LED 구동장치의 디밍에 의한 조명제어를 제안한다. 제안된 LED 구동회로는 Flyback 컨버터를 이용하여 교류 입력 전원을 직류 출력전원으로 변환되는 과정을 이해한다. 포터커플러의 역할과 그 Feedback원리 그리고 PWM방식으로 IC를 직접 제어하여 버스트 디밍을 구현하고 LED의 밝기 밝기 조절 및 불필요한 전력낭비를 예방하는데 목적을 두었다.

  • DMX512 protocol controls a lighting system for outdoor lightings and stage lightings. But lighting systems using DMX512 protocol based wired needs expensive cost in installation, maintain, repair. And it has restrictions about control channel numbers and its ranges. Also, it needs additional equipments for the control of lighting systems which installed on wide area. In this paper, we propose wireless control technique and a ZDMX module for lighting systems on wide area based on DMX512 protocol. Our technique solves problems of DMX512 protocol, and it can control lighting systems on wide area effectively. We developments the LED lighting system using ZDMX modules and we have confirmed the suitability of our technique for real environment.

  • 본 논문에서는 고 연색성의 실시간으로 색온도 제어 가능한 승강기용 조명제품 개발을 위하여 제품에 사용될 LED Package를 제작하고 고연색성 실현을 위한 색온도 제어 기초실험을 행하였다. 그리고 20W 급의 LED 광원모듈 구동회로와 색온도 제어를 위한 제어회로를 설계하였다. 또한 음영 제거 및 글레어 차단, 효과적인 광색혼합을 위하여 확산배광을 달성하기 위한 R, G, B, A, W LED의 최적 배치 및 렌즈의 광학설계를 수행하였고 LED에서 발생하는 열을 효과적으로 발산하여 LED 조명모듈의 온도를 낮추기 위한 방열설계를 실시하였다.

  • Lighting systems in modern society has been developed using a combination of IT technology and LED lighting for the purpose of bringing about changes in human-centered natural lighting and to take advantage of the efficient management and energy saving of LED lighting. In this paper, we propose an LED lighting control system that can control the color temperature and brightness of LED lighting composed of 3000K Warm LEDs and 6000K Cool LEDs by using an Arduino Due and wireless communication technology such as Bluetooth and Zigbee. The Arduino Due allows the color temperature of the lighting to be adjusted in several steps by controlling the duty rate and enables many lights to be controlled using Zigbee communication capable of 1: N multiple communication. By using Bluetooth communication, it is possible to easily control the LED lighting by means of a smartphone application, thereby enhancing the convenience for the user. The wireless communication based LED lighting control system implemented in this study cannot only provide human-centered lighting through its color temperature control from 3067K to 5960K and illumination control, but can also reduce the power consumption and be used as a natural-friendly lighting system.

Development of Wireless Control System for High Power LED Luminaire Using Bluetooth Wireless Communication and Current Control System (Bluetooth 무선 통신과 전류제어 시스템을 이용한 고전력 LED 등기구의 무선제어 시스템 개발)

  • An LED lighting control system was developed to combine information technology and LED lights for efficient management and energy savings. The system can monitor and control the status of an LED luminaire using Bluetooth wireless communication, sensor technology, and smart phones. An LED lighting control circuit was designed using a temperature sensor, illumination sensor, and Bluetooth module with a fuzzy constant-current control circuit. We extended the lifetime and prevented damage to the LED by optimizing the supply current of the LED luminaire based on the heat-generation temperature of $70^{\circ}C$ of an LED heat sink. We also automatically adjusted the ON/OFF time depending on the ambient illumination of the LED luminaire. By allowing easy control of the LED luminaires on a smartphone, we improved the efficiency and achieved energy savings. The control system was validated through experiments for normal operation.

  • 주광의 색온도와 일치하는 실내 전반 조명용 60W급 LED 조명제품 개발하기 위하여 실내 주광에 적합한 LED를 선정하고, 색온도, 광색제어를 위한 구동회로 및 제어회로를 설계 제작 하였다. 그리고 1W급 Cool White, Warm White Package LED 총 168 EA를 적용하여 주광의 색온도와 일치하는 실내전반 조명용 LED 조명 System 을 개발하였다. 주광의 색온도와 일치하는 실내 전반용 LED 조명제품은 60W급 LED SMPS 구동회로 및 광색/색온도 제어회로 설계, 면발광을 위한 방열 설계 및 기구 구조 설계를 통하여 개발되었으며, 직접 시제품을 제작하고 그 성능을 측정하였다. 그 결과 회로 효율은 85% 이상, 색온도는 $3,000{\sim}7,000K$에서 실시간으로 제어 가능 하고, 원하는 색온도을 구현 할 수 있도록 하였으며, 발산각 또한 최대 광도의 1/2 기준으로 $100^{\circ}$ 이상을 만족시켰다.

  • A building energy-saving have been increased worldwide interest. There is continuing research on IT technology for efficient management of BEMS. Recently, It is able to control of LED and to maximize energy savings to the development of LED lighting technology. We propose the security image processing system to improve efficiency and we implement the real-time status monitoring system to surveil the object in the building energy management system. In this paper, we proposed the system of LED control using Zigbee network for connect the server. User is able to control LED light and monitering by the desktop. We implemented LED light control software on the based of Real-time monitering and LED control. Also detect human body movement.

  • Today the light of mankind since the dawn of mankind and that they were living "lives" on the huge influence across space is a dynamic energy. Because of this, when all human beings with the light and you can feel more comfortable with a stable mind to the beauty and the pursuit of happiness is to have instincts. In this paper, a fuzzy control system using a combination of external environmental factors, respectively, the conversion of quantitative uncertainty information into the LED lighting is designed to express algorithms, available in indoor circadian control circuit was designed and fabricated LED. Factor in the external environment temperature, humidity, and light intensity values to the controller through the sensor to accept these values and the optimal values for lighting the fuzzy control algorithm is converted into human emotion to feel comfortable to express through the dimming control LED lighting.
