Implementation of a BLU system for advertisements using a LED and Acryl (LED와 아크릴을 이용한 광고용 BLU 시스템 구현)

  • This paper has proposed and experimentally demonstrated a new BLU using an LED and an acryl, which is specially focused on the implementation about the guiding effect of an acryl luminous by the LED. While the conventional BLU using a fluorescent lamp is generally and widely used, it shows big power consumption with a short life even more too thick to hold on the wall. To solve such demerits, we propose a new method for a BLU using an LED and an acryl in this paper. This BLU system has various scratches on the surface of acryl to get diffusion effect of light, and has been included an embedded board that can dynamically control the colors and the intensity of the BLU through the Internet. We have conducted computer simulations to find out the optimal scratch pattern on the surface of the acryl for the backlight system. Based on the resulted out simulation. The the optimal scratch pattern signs has been developed. The simulation result shows 2,673Lux an average for a luminous intensity test, and the other hand, experiential result shows 2,554Lux. From the experiments, it is possible for the proposed BLU system to be used for real advertisements.

  • LED는 기존조명에 비해 친환경적이고, 긴 수명을 갖기 때문에 현재에 이르러 광고조명이나 백라이트 유닛 그리고 실내 외 조명으로 각광받기 시작했다. LED를 조명으로 사용 함에 있어서 LED의 PN 접합부에서 발생하는 접합온도 상승을 고려해야한다. 접합온도 상승은 LED의 광 출력과 수명의 감소, 광색의 변화를 초래하기 때문에 광 출력 및 광색을 유지시키고, 수명을 예측하기 위해서는 LED의 접합온도를 일정하게 유지시키는 LED 전용의 전력제어 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문은 LED 접합온도 측정 시스템과 구동전원을 설계 및 제작하였으며, 측정된 온도를 구동전원에 궤환시켜 접합온도를 일정하게 유지시키는 시스템을 제안하였다.

  • This paper is on the edgelit device with external control function and change of light color by dimming control of high flux LED. It the light is projected the transparent body via reflector, the mixture of light is uniform and it is proved by simulation and experimentation. To improve the light efficiency of the device, the research on reflector materials and the distortion of LED input owing to the transistor's characteristics are need.

  • K-Pop Square Media, located at COEX in Samseong-dong, has gained public attention and mass media focus by showcasing various three-dimensional videos on a large LED display. The video content on the distinctive large curved LED display utilizes a form of media façade technique, establishing itself as a new landmark and attraction within the spatial characteristics of the COEX Plaza. This study aims to examine the characteristics of media facades used in outdoor advertising in urban spaces, focusing on K-Pop Square Media. The approach for this research involves three aspects: Firstly, examining the 'spatial characteristics' of urban public spaces by referencing Kevin Lynch's five elements constituting urban space and William J. Mitchell's exploration of smart spaces and changes in spatial paradigms. Secondly, analyzing the 'digital nature' of outdoor advertising through an examination of three types of Digital Out-Of-Home (DOOH) Media. Thirdly, exploring the 'technological advancements and content composition of media facades' by investigating types of display media (projection, LED screens), the inception of media facades, and the latest display technology like Anamorphic displays. Through this research, it becomes evident that K-Pop Square Media exhibits characteristics of publicness, communicativeness, artistry, and placemaking through the spatial characteristics of smart spaces, the media-specific aspects of Digital Out-Of-Home advertising, and the content composition of media facades.

The Effects of Model Nationalities, Message Types, New Product Types and Cultural Distances on Consumer Attitudes toward the Ads and Products (광고 모델의 국적과 메시지 및 신제품 유형, 문화적 거리감이 광고 및 제품 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of psychological distances on the consumer attitudes related to new product advertising based on the construal level theory. In particular, this study intends to test the interaction effects among models' nationalities, the newness of new products and message types on the Chinese consumer attitudes toward the advertisements or products. Perceived cultural distances were also considered to have moderating role on the interaction effects. The results indicated that the fits of psychological distances led more positive attitudes. Consumers showed more positive attitudes toward abstract(vs concrete) advertising with foreign models. In the domestic model advertising, consumer attitudes were enhanced when concrete(vs abstract) messages were provided. The findings also demonstrate that the influences could be different according to perceived cultural distances.

  • Interactive media are applied to inner and outer space of small public space to enhance for the interaction between the spectator and works, also widely used in the exterior wall by LED and projector for advertisement. In the other hand, case studies of interactive media for large space have not less accomplished than those of buildings and public spaces. Thus, these studies analyzed 11 large structure examples by display, content, interface, and technology device by comparison of those cases of ordinary building public space. First interactive media for large space are found to be contents(39%), and next one is play(27%), advertisement(17%) and message(17%).

An Experimental Evaluation and Economic Analysis for LED Traffic Signal (LED 교통신호등 현장적용성 평가 및 경제성 분석)

  • LED(Light Emitting Diodes)는 반도체를 이용한 발광소자로서 동화상 광고물이나 가변정보표지판(VMS)등에 주로 활용되고 있으며 최근 외국의 경우 LED 기술을 교통신호등에 적용하여 시범설치 및 확대 적용 설치하여 운영 중에 있으며 국내에서는 산업체, 학계, 연구소 등에서 연구 개발 중에 있다. 본 연구는 현재 이러한 산 학 연의 노력에 의해 개발된 LED 교통신호등을 현장에 적용하기에 앞서서 실내실험과 현장실험을 통하여 에너지 절감효과 및 현장적용성을 검증하고 경제성 분석을 통한 타당성을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 내용으로써 기존 전구식 신호등과 LED 신호등의 발광원리 및 특징 비교 분석, 실내실험을 통한 에너지 절감효과 검증, LED 보행자 신호등 현장적용성 평가, LED 신호등으로 서울시의 기존 신호등을 연차적으로 교체하는 경우에 대한 경제적 분석이 실시되었다. 실내실험을 통해 LED 신호등의 에너지 절감효과가 평균 76% 임을 검증하였고 보행자 신호등에 대한 현장 실험에서 설문응답자의 83.7%가 LED 신호등의 시인성이 우월하다고 나타나 현장적용성은 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. LED 신호등에 대한 경제성 분석결과 자본회수기간은 6년으로 나타났으며 향후 기존 신호등의 고장 및 유지 보수 등에 의한 차량정체 비용, 교통사고 비용 및 소자기술 발전을 고려하면 이보다 단축될 것으로 판단된다. 향후 차량등에 대한 운전자들의 반응 및 장기적인 안정성 등에 대한 종합적인 실험이 추가적으로 이뤄져야 할 것이며 이를 바탕으로 하여 LED 신호등에 대한 규격서 제정 등 법 제도 측면이 이루어진 후 LED 국내 기술 수준 등을 총체적으로 고려하여 LED 교통신호등에 대한 보급방안이 강구되어야 할 것이다.

  • This paper studies Optical Fiber(OF) - LED illuminated display board system for energy saving. The OF-LED illuminated display board system has PV modules, batteries, and charge & discharge system, and dynamic full color display controller. Both maximum power point tracker (MPPT) and constant current & constant current controls (CCVC) are used In govern the charging system. It can be improve the charging efficiency of battery. The objective of this thesis paper is to build advertisement lighting system with OF-LED in to charge a 12-volts lead acid battery by using a field wired PV array. We saved the maintenance cost and developed of advertisement effectiveness. To verify the proposed OF-LED illuminated display board system for energy saving, the detail simulation and experiment results indicate that operating characteristics are verified by experiment with a laboratory prototype in this paper.

  • This study is about utilizing social game as a gamification advertising platform. Since iPhone released to the world, the smart phone industry has rapidly increased. And the development of the smart phone industry has rapidly increased its rate of users in which it has led to leaping growths of new kind of service such as SNS(Social Network Service), and SNG(Social Network Game). The purpose of this study is predicting the development of advertising industry in smart phone paradigm shift. This study focused on social network game as a gamification advertising platform, and studied on case of which is social network game used as a gamification advertising platform. Finally, this study has developed suggestions for new way of advertising by utilizing Mobile social network game as a gamification advertising platform.

  • 태양광 발전 시스템 분야는 유가 폭등과 신재생에너지에대한 인식변화, 발전차액 지원제도와 함께 국내 시장에 급속도로 보급이 이뤄지고 있으며 그 활용분야 또한 기존의 주택 시장을 넘어 발전사업, 타 분야와의 연계성을 가지며 활발한 연구 및 시장 확대가 이뤄지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 태양광 발전 시스템과 기존 조명 시스템을 대체해 나가며 기하급수적인 보급을 보이고 있는 LED를 접목한 승강장 개발에 관한 논문이다. 태양광/LED 시스템을 적용한 승강장은 독자적인 운영이 가능하고 기존 승강장이 갖지 못했던 조명 및 광고 기능을 제공함으로써 태양광 발전과 LED 조명에 대한 저변 확대와 관련 기술 응용에 큰 기여를 할 것이라 사료된다.
