In this paper, the wakes behind a square cylinder were simulated using two kinds of different turbulence models for the eddy viscosity concept such as the zero- and the one-equation model in which the former is the mixing length model and the latter is the k-equation model. For comparison between numerical and analytical solutions, we employed three skill assessments: the correlation coefficient(r) for the similarity of the wake shape, the error of maximum velocity difference(EMVD) for the accuracy of wake velocity and the ratio of drag coefficient(RDC) for the pressure distribution around the structure. On the basis of the numerical results, the feasibility of each model for wake simulation was discussed and a suitable value for the empirical constant was suggested in these turbulence models. The zero-equation model, known as the simplest turbulence model, overestimated the EMVD and its absolute mean error(AME) for r, EMVD and RDC was ranging from 20.3 % to 56.3 % for all test. But the AME by the one-equation model was ranging from 3.4 % to 19.9 %. The predicted values of the one-equation model substantially agreed with the analytical solutions at the empirical mixing length scale $L=0.6b_{1/2}$ with the AME of 3.4 %. Therefore it was concluded that the one-equation model was suitable for the wake simulation behind a square cylinder when the empirical constant for eddy viscosity would be properly chosen.

At the lift-off condition, the combustion and Jet noise of launch vehicle produces a severe acoustic environment and the acoustic loads may be damaging to paylaod and equipments. Prediction of the acoustic environment is thus needed to support the load-resistive design and test-qualification of components. Currently, such a high frequency problem is usually dealt with by using the SEA technique, for which the assumptions should match reasonably well with the vibro-acoustic condition of system. The subsystems of SEA model was composed of 16 flat plates, 8 L-shaped beams, and 2 acoustic cavities. The frequency range was 400 Hz - 4 kHz considering the modal parameter. The experiment was performed in a high intensity acoustic chamber, in which the diffuse acoustic field was assured. By comparing the SEA analysis and the experiments, the error less than 5 dB was observed.
The Objective of this study was to design the model which predict the future cash flow of hospitals and on the basis of designed model to support sound hospital management by the prediction of future cash flow. The five cash flow measurement variables discussed in financial accrual part were used as variables and these variables were defined as NI, NIDPR, CFO, CFAI, CC. To measure the cash flow B/S related variables, P/L related variables and financial ratio related variables were utilized in this study. To measure cash flow models were designed and to estimate the prediction ability of five cash flow models, the martingale model and the market model were utilized. To estimate relative prediction outcome of cash flow prediction model and simple market model, MAE and MER were used to compare and analyze relative prediction ability of the cash flow model and the market model and to prove superiority of the model of the cash flow prediction model, 32 Regional Public Hospital's cross-section data and 4 year time series data were combined and pooled cross-sectional time series regression model was used for GLS-analysis. To analyze this data, Firstly, each cash flow prediction model, martingale model and market model were made and MAE and MER were estimated. Secondly difference-test was conducted to find the difference between MAE and MER of cash flow prediction model. Thirdly after ranking by size the prediction of cash flow model, martingale model and market model, Friedman-test was evaluated to find prediction ability. The results of this study were as follows: when t-test was conducted to find prediction ability among each model, the error of prediction of cash flow model was smaller than that of martingale and market model, and the difference of prediction error cash flow was significant, so cash flow model was analyzed as excellent compare with other models. This research results can be considered conductive in that present the suitable prediction model of future cash flow to the hospital. This research can provide valuable information in policy-making of hospital's policy decision. This research provide effects as follows; (1) the research is useful to estimate the benefit of hospital, solvency and capital supply ability for substitution of fixed equipment. (2) the research is useful to estimate hospital's liqudity, solvency and financial ability. (3) the research is useful to estimate evaluation ability in hospital management. Furthermore, the research should be continued by sampling all hospitals and constructed advanced cash flow model in dimension, established type and continued by studying unified model which is related each cash flow model.

Purpose : The examine the reliability and validity of the modified Emory Functional Ambulation Profile(mEFAP) for assessing gait function in chronic stroke patients. Methods : A total of 45 stroke patients, who had a stroke more than 6 months, participated in the study. Reliability was determined by Intra-class Correlation Coefficient($ICC_{3,1}$), including Bland and Altman method (Standard Error of Measurement: SEM, Small Real Differences: SRD). Validity was examined by correlating results to the gait ability(mEFAP, Modified Motor Assessment Scale-Gait(MMAS-G), Scandinavian Stroke Scale-Gait(SSS-G), Functional Ambulation Category(FAC), 10m Waking Test(10m WT)), and Fugl Meyer-Lower/Extremity(FM-L/E), Berg Balance Scale(BBS). Results : Inter-rater reliability for the total mEFAP was High($ICC_{2,1}$=.998), and absolute reliability were excellent (SEM: 1.75, SRD: 4.85). Subjects without assistance factor performed better on all tests than did subjects who had stroke. There were significant correlations between the mEFAP and MMAS-G, SSS-G, FAC(r=-.66~-.79), 10 m WT(r=-.86), and FM-L/E, BBS(r=-.72~-.78), indicating good validity. Increased times on the mEFAP correlated with poor performance on the gait ability, motor function of lower extremity, BBS and slow gait speeds on the 10 m WT in stroke patients. Conclusion : The mEFAP can be administered easily and comprehensively. It is a reliable gait assessment tool for patients with stroke and correlated with known of function, the mEFAP may be a clinically useful measure of ambulation.

Purpose: In this study, an in-house enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was developed and validated. The titer of ELISA was calculated using the reference line (RFL) method based on the standard curve drawn using the international reference anti-mouse serum NIBSC (National Institute for Biological Standards and Control) 97/642. Materials and Methods: In the development step, signal to noise was depicted to select the buffers that showed the most appropriate ratio. In the validation step, standard range, precision, dilution linearity, and specificity were confirmed, and RFL and parallel line (PLL) methods were compared in precision and dilution linearity. Results: Coating concentration for plate was achieved at 0.1 ㎍/mL for pertussis toxin (PT), 0.15 ㎍/mL for filamentous hemagglutinin antigen (FHA), and 0.25 ㎍/mL for pertactin (PRN). The signal to noise ratio was 22.02 for PT, 14.93 for FHA, and 8.02 for PRN with 0.25% goat serum in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) as a dilution buffer, and 2% skim milk in PBS as a blocking buffer. Based on the precision results, we assessed the lower limit of quantification by 1, 0.2, and 1.5 EU/mL concentration for PT, FHA, and PRN which met the ICH (International Council for Harmonization) M10 criteria of a 25% accuracy and total error of 40%. In specificity, homologous serum was spiked into heterologous serum and the accuracy met the criteria. There was no difference in the results between RFL and PLL calculations (p-value=0.3207 for PT, 0.7394 for FHA, 0.2109 for PRN). Conclusion: ELISA validated with RFL calculation method in this study is a relatively accurate assay for mouse humoral immunogenicity test.

The purpose of this study is to develop a badge-type passive sampler for the measurement of short-term nitrogen dioxide and to evaluate its performance. The principle of the method is a colorimetric reaction of nitrogen dioxide with sulfanilic acid, N-1-naphthylethylendiamine, and phosphoric acid. First, it has been shown that the filter paper should be rinsed with ultrapure water and ultrasound, and then dried in a vacuumed desiccator. The concentration and volume of absorption reagent (triethanolamine) were $20\%$ and 100 ${\mu}L$, respectively. The extraction time was determined as 60 min. Second, duplicate measurements (n= 116) were carried out for evaluating the precision of the passive sampler. The relative error and the correlation coefficient between duplicates are $3.4\pm 3.0\%$ and 0.994, respectively. In addition, the $95\%$ confidence interval of intraclass correlation coefficient and the estimated value are 0.992$\sim$0.996 and 0.994, respectively. Third, a paired t-test was carried out for evaluating the accuracy of the passive sampler (n=40). In the result of the test, the $95\%$ confidence interval of the difference was -1.710 ppb <$\gamma$< 0.788 ppb. Finally, the average concentration of blanks, measurement detection limit, limit of detection, and limit of quantification are $2.4\pm 0.4$ ppb, 104 ppb, 3.8 ppb, and 7.0 ppb, respectively.
The enantiomeric separation of lactic acid for its absolute configuration has become important task for understanding its biological origin and metabolic process involved in the formation of lactic acid. It involves the conversion of enantiomers as diastereomeric O-pentafluoropropionylated (S)-(+)-3-methyl-2-butyl ester and the direct separation by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry on a achiral capillary column. The (R)- and (S)-lactic acids were completely separated with a high resolution of 1.9. The newly developed method showed good linearity (r ${\geq}$ 0.999), precision (% relative standard deviation = 3.4-6.2), and accuracy (% relative error = -7.7-1.4) with the detection limit of 0.011 ${\mu}g/mL$. When the method was applied to determine the absolute configuration of lactic acid in Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. lactis 304 (LAB 304), the composition (%) of (R)-lactic acid in the cell pellet and in the culture medium were $89.0{\pm}0.1$ and $78.2{\pm}0.4$, respectively. Thus, it was verified that the present method is useful for the identification and composition test of lactic enantiomers in microorganisms.
Rose and chrysanthemum are the most popular flowers in Korean floriculture. Sorting flowers is a labor intensive operation in cultivation of the cut flowers and needed to be mechanized. Machine vision is one of the promising solutions for this purpose. This study was carried out to develop hardware and software of a cut flower sorting system using machine vision and to test its performance. Results of this study were summarized as following; 1. Length of the cut flower measured by the machine vision system showed a good correlation with actual length of the flower at a level of the coefficients of determination (R$^2$) of 0.9948 and 0.9993 for rose and chrysanthemum respectively and average measurement errors of the system were about 2% and 1% of the shortest length of the sample flowers. The experimental result showed that the machine vision system could be used successfully to measure length of the cut flowers. 2. Stem diameter of the cut flowers measured by the machine vision system showed a correlation with actual diameter at the coefficients of determination (R$^2$) of 0.8429 and 0.9380 for rose and chrysanthemum respectively and average measurement errors of the system were about 15% and 7.5% of the shortest diameter of the sample flowers which could be a serious source of error in grading operation. It was recommended that the error rate should be considered to set up grading conditions of each class of the cut flowers. 3. Bud maturity of 20 flowers each judged using the machine vision system showed a coincidence with the judgement by inspectors at ranges of 80%∼85% and 85%∼90% for rose and chrysanthemum respectively. Performance of the machine vision system to judge bud maturity could be improved through setting up more precise criteria to judge the maturity with more samples of the flowers. 4. Quality of flower judged by stem curvature using the machine vision system showed a coincidence with the judgement by inspectors at 90% for good and 85% for bad flowers of both rose and chrysanthemum. The levels of coincidence was considered as that the machine vision system used was an acceptable system to judge the quality of flower by stem curvature.

Purpose: This study evaluated the validity and reliability of Shively and colleagues' self-efficacy for HIV disease management skills (HIV-SE) among Korean participants. Methods: The original HIV-SE questionnaire, comprising 34 items, was translated into Korean using a translation and back-translation process. To enhance clarity and eliminate redundancy, the author and expert committee engaged in multiple discussions and integrated two items with similar meanings into a single item. Further, four HIV nurse experts tested content validity. Survey data were collected from 227 individuals diagnosed with HIV from five Korean hospitals. Construct validity was verified through confirmatory factor analysis. Criterion validity was evaluated using Pearson's correlation coefficients with the new general self-efficacy scale. Internal consistency reliability and test-retest were examined for reliability. Results: The Korean version of HIV-SE (K-HIV-SE) comprises 33 items across six domains: "managing depression/mood," "managing medications," "managing symptoms," "communicating with a healthcare provider," "getting support/help," and "managing fatigue." The fitness of the modified model was acceptable (minimum value of the discrepancy function/degree of freedom = 2.49, root mean square error of approximation = .08, goodness-of-fit index = .76, adjusted goodness-of-fit index = .71, Tucker-Lewis index = .84, and comparative fit index = .86). The internal consistency reliability (Cronbach's α = .91) and test-retest reliability (intraclass correlation coefficient = .73) were good. The criterion validity of the K-HIV-SE was .59 (p < .001). Conclusion: This study suggests that the K-HIV-SE is useful for efficiently assessing self-efficacy for HIV disease management.

This paper has been presented a design of a POCSAG decoder in RT-level VHDL and implemented in a FPGA chip, and tested. In a single clock of 76.8KHz, the decoder receives all the data of the rate of 512/1200/2400bps and has maximum 2-own frames for service enhancement. To improve decoder performance, the decoder uses a preamble detection cosidering 9% frequency tolerance, a SCW detction and a ICW detection at each 4 bit. The decoder also corrects a address data and a message data up to 2 bits and proposes the PF (preamble frequency) error for saving battery. The decoder increases a battery life owing to turn off RF circuits when the preamble signal is detected with nises. The chip has been designed in RT-level VHdL, synthesized into logic gates using power view$^{TM}$ of viewlogic software. The chip has been implemented in an ALTERA EPF81188GC232-3 FPGA chip with 98% usability, and fully tested in shield room and field room. The chip has been proved that the wrong detection numbers of preamble of noises are significantly reduced in the pager system using PDI 2400 through the real field test. The receiving performance is improved by 20% of aaverage, compared with other existing systems.
