A Study of the Relationship on the Perceived Family Support and the Level of Depression among Adolescents (청소년이 지각한 가족지지와 우울과의 상관관계 연구)

  • Present study was attempt to explore the relationship between perceived family support and depression and to emphasize the importance or needs of family support in psychological care especially among adolescents. Study subjects comprized of 308 high school students including vocational students in part, and data collection was done in the Kwangju City area in April. 1998. The Moos Family Environment Scale and the Zung's Self-Rating Depression Scale modified by investigators were used as measurement tools of 59 item questionnaire and in data analysis, statistical methods of T-test, ANOVA. and Pearson Correlation Coefficient were utilized. The study findings are as follows 1. The hypothesis of the study, 'the higher the degree of perceived family support among adolescents, the lower the level of depression', was supported (r=-0.4469, p<.001). 2. Some variables in demographic characteristics related to the degree of family support with statistical significance were school division of vacational vs non-vocational(t=-2.02, p<.05), age(f=5.47, p<.01), family monthly income (f=2.49, p<.05), mother's level of education (f=3.01. p<.05), residence at developmental stage (f=2.87, p<.05), personal problem of highest priority at present(f=7.73, p<.001), and family problem perceived by adolescents(f=7.38, p< .001). 3. Items In general characteristics related to the level of depression with statistical significance were sex(t=-2.91, p<.0l). mother's level of education(f=2.53. p<.05). residence at developmental stage (f=3.95. p<.0l). present personal problem of highest priority (f=3.68. p<.1l). and perceived in-family problem (f=4.58. p<.001). 4. The mean score of the degree of perceived family support was 61.26 $(SD=\pm14.45)$ in a range of 21.00 to 96.00 ; that of the level of depression. 43.74 $(SD=\pm8.04)$ in a range of 23.00 to 67.00. which demonstrated that the higher the degree of perceived family support, the lower the level of depression. In conclusion. it was found that the degree of family support perceived by adolescents is a variable affecting the level of depression. Based on the study outcome, further research suggestions can be made as such that repeated studies are needed in order to delineate the various factors affecting family support and depression, and a study involving family support implementation program is required as a nursing intervention for the development of emotional security among adolescents, perceived family support, depression, adolescence.

Distribution of Biomass and Production of Pinus rigida and Pinus rigida×taeda Plantation in Kwangju District (광주지방(光州地方)의 리기다소나무 및 리기테다소나무조림지(造林地)의 물질생산량(物質生産量)에 관(關)한 연구(研究))

  • To estimate the aboveground biomass of Pinus rigida and Pinus rigida ${\times}$ taeda 22-year-old plantations, the experimental plots of $200m^2$ in size located in Kwangju of Jeonlanam-do were selected. Nine sample trees selected at each plot taking account of DBH distribution were felled and the diagram of oven-dry weight distribution of stem, branch, and needle for each 1m segment was constructed. The logarithmic regression equations between dry weight of each component (stems, branches, and needles) and the variable of $(DBH)^2{\cdot}H$ were obtained. The aboveground standing crops was estimated to be as much as 71.61 and 142.32 tons of dry matter per hectare in P. rigida and P. rigida ${\times}$ taeda stand respectively. The net production was estimated as 10.81 and 10.46 t/ha/yr and the net assimilation rate 1.32 and 1.00 kg/kg/yr in P. rigida and P. rigida ${\times}$ taeda stand respectively. And the efficiency of needles to produce stem was 0.97 and 0.81 kg/kg/yr in same order.

Primary Production and Nutrients Distribution in 22-year-old Pinus koraiensis and Quercus mongolica Stands in Kwangju District (경기도 광주지방 22년생 잣나무 및 신갈나무림의 물질생산량과 무기영양물분포)

  • To estimate the biomass, net production and nutrient distribution of Pinus Koraiensis and Quercus mongolica stand, experimental plots located in Kwangju of Kyonggi-do were selected. The standing crops were estimated to be as much as 152.07 and 156.02 tons of dry matter per hectare in P. koraiensis and Q. mongolica stand respectively. The net production was estimated as 24.66 and 20.35t/ha$\cdot$yr and the net assimilation rate was 1.90 and 3.42kg/kg$\cdot$yr in same order. Particulary large proportions of nitrogen. calcium and magnesium were found in soil of P. koraiensis stand, phosphours and potassium in overstory of it. At Q. mongolica stand, large proportions of nitrogen. phosphorus. potassium and magnesium were found in soil and calcium in overstory. The amounts of litter fall was 4.013t/ha$\cdot$8 months in P. koraiensis stand and 3.490t/ha$\cdot$8 months in Q. mongolica stand.

Changes of Knowledges and Attitudes on Nutrition after 'NutriPlus Program', part of Convergence Education (융합교육 '영양 플러스사업' 후 영양지식과 태도의 변화)

  • This study in A City was performed to target low-income families in NutriPlus Program, infants toddlers for parents' convergence education effects were analyzed. The subjects of the study was involved in parents' education level can be identified. During the same period before and after the evaluation of nutrition education to a total of 263 people were targeted. It is comprised of the infants of 61 and of the toddler 192. nutrition education, dietary life attitude of infants after the increase in the width of the scores were as follows : Less than high school group was $6.57{\pm}6.51$, Greater than college group was $4.57{\pm}6.09$ a, rather less than high school group showed a large increasing rate, which was statistically significant (p = 0.03). NutriPlus Program is growing due to low-income families to improve children's nutritional status and nutrition knowledge and dietary life attitude will have a positive impact on, part of convergence education. In addition, parents' education level, depending on, varied and effective nutritional education should be taken.

The Relationship between the Perception of Disaster, Attitude toward Disaster and Competency of Disaster Nursing of Long-term Care Hospital Nurses (요양병원 간호사의 재난 인식, 재난에 대한 태도, 재난간호역량의 관계)

  • This study aimed to examine perception of disaster, attitude toward disaster and competency of disaster nursing in nurses of long-term care hospitals and determine correlations between these factors. The study sampled 123 nurses at seven long-term care hospitals in G metropolitan city and J province. The data collection period was from February 15 to April 30, 2021. The results showed that when the nurse is a head nurse or above (F=3.89, p=.023), has a total career length of 20 years or more (F=5.34, p=.002), and has received disaster nursing education (t=3.87, p<.001), participant's competency of disaster nursing is significantly high. In addition, competency of disaster nursing was found to have no significant correlation with perception of disaster but a statistically significant negative correlation with attitude toward disaster. The study findings suggest that a practice oriented disaster nursing education is required as an intervention program, along with improving the competency of disaster nursing in nurses of care hospitals. Therefore, the study results are expected to be utilized as basic data for improving the competency of disaster nursing of nurses at long-term care hospitals.

  • 최근 사이버교육의 필요성이 대두됨에 따라서 초 중등에서는 사이버가정학습체제를 도입하게 되었다. 하지만 사이버가정학습은 학생의 자발성에 기초하여 학습이 이루어지기 때문에 성공적인 운영을 위해서는 학습자의 참여도를 높이는 것이 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학습자의 참여도와 관련된 변인이 무엇인지를 밝혀보고, 이를 통해 학습자의 참여도를 높이기 위한 방안을 제안해 보았다. 학습자의 참여도와 관련있는 변인은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자 내적변인 중 인지적 성향, 정좌소양수준, 자기주도적학습력, 참여목적, 사이버가정학습에 대한 인식이었다. 둘께, 학습자 외적변인 중 사이버가정학습장, 사교육투자시간, 학급담임의 내용확인도, 이용의 편의성이었다 셋째, 사이버교수활동 중 상호작용성, 과제제시빈도, 학습상담유형, 보상이었다. 넷째, 학부모변인 중 참여인지, 도움도, 내용확인 정도가 참여도에 유의한 영향을 준다고 나타났다. 이상과 같은 결과에 비추어 다음과 같은 방안을 제안해 보았다. 콘텐츠 측면에서 살펴보면, 다양한 양질의 콘텐츠가 제공되어야 한다. 콘텐츠 내에서 학생간이 교류가 이루어질 수 있어야하며, 정보탐색이나 정보교류를 이용한 학습문제나 과제가 제시되어야 한다. 운영상의 측면에서 살펴보면, 온라인과 오프라인의 교류와 협력을 위한 장이 마련되어야 하며, 시스템 환경을 최적화해야한다. 과제물도 일괄 처리할 수 있는 시스템이 요구되며, 가정과 사이버가정학습의 연결을 위한 시스템이 필요하다. 장애처리전담반의 운영도 요구된다. 필요한 기능을 중심으로 한 가벼운 시스템으로 구축해야 하며, 상담시스템의 구축이 필요하다. 법적 제도적 측면에서 살펴보면, 가정, 학교, 지역도서관 등에 사이버가정학습을 할 수 있는 장소가 마련되어야 한다. 학습자의 참여도에 대한 적절한 보상이 필요하다. 사이버가정학습을 학교수업의 일부분으로 인식할 수 있도록 제도적 뒷받침이 요구되며, 학부모 튜터제 도입도 요구된다. 이상과 같은 대안들을 신중히 고려하여 차근차근 준비해 간다면 앞으로의 사이버가정학습은 무한한 발전을 계속해 나갈 수 있을 것이다.

The Study of Disability Awareness among elementary and high school students for convergence education design (융합적 장애인식 교육 설계를 위한 초·중·고등학생의 장애 인식에 관한 연구)

  • This paper is the study on deducing the education design for convergence of disability awareness of targeting elementary, middle, high school students located in J city. The analysis results are as follows: In the analysis of group difference in disability awareness, there was a statistically significant difference according to female students, schools, and sub-typed phase, and experience in integrated education. It was found that the participating group in disability awareness education showed a higher average than non-participating groups in prejudice against disability, interest and consideration, and acceptance of physically challenged friends. In the relationship between disability perception education and disability awareness, the education was found to have influence on prejudice against disability and acceptance of physically challenged friends. This paper suggested disability awareness education reflecting a life cycle, application of the integrated educational method for verifying educational effectiveness, etc.

A case study of the education and training for job creation based on the local fashion industry - In Seogu Gwangju central city - (지역산업맞춤형 일자리창출사업을 위한 패션 취·창업 교육훈련 사례연구 - 광주광역시 서구를 중심으로 -)

  • The aim of this study is develop a state-funded education and training curriculum to contribute to the development of the fashion industry infrastructure. This will be achieved based on the service sector by the competitive clothing sales personnel and fashion startups. The study was conducted using a qualitative research method. The participants were 20 representatives of fashion-related companies and employees from one traditional market and two fashion outlets in Seogu, Gwangju. Data was collected from September 2015 to January 2017 by demand surveys and in-depth interviews. These were conducted on the same day at each clothing store office. In addition, existing literature was also reviewed. The collected data were first summarized into 64 meaning units from which three themes were derived by arranging, classifying, and analyzing the data. The findings of the study are as follows. First, the education and training curriculum for fashion job creation is aimed at job-oriented field-types with the objective of cultivating professional skills for online to offline fashion professionals. Second, the curriculum for fashion advisors was developed to consisted of 8 courses of 150 hours, including job knowledge, a foreign language, fashion-specific knowledge, fashion marketing & VMD, store management know-how, clothing repair, field trip, and internship. Third, the curriculum for fashion entrepreneurs consisted of 8 courses of 106 hours, including entrepreneurship, fashion practice, startup, field trip, finance & taxation accounting, marketing, social enterprise course, and internship.

A Convergence study the Effect of the social capital discovery program on empowerment and career preparation activity of female college students (사회적자본찾기 프로그램이 여대생의 임파워먼트와 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 융합연구)

  • This research was convergence study conducted to understand the effect that a recovery program for social capital has on empowerment and career preparation activity in female college students. The subjects were female college students located in K city, and Experimental Group 30, Control Group 30 questionnaires were used as the data for analysis. As a result of this study, it was discovered that there was a statistically significant difference in personally-internal, political and social areas in the sub-areas of empowerment in female college students while there was no significant difference in personal relationships. Also, in the sub-area of career preparation activity in female college students in the recovery program for social capital, information collection activity and practice activity were different and the differences were statistically significant. It is suggested that further studies are needed on recovery programs for social capital for improved empowerment, career preparation behavior and usability.

Oral health-related behaviors of some elementary school students by installation of toothbrushing facility (양치시설 설치여부에 따른 일부 초등학생의 구강건강관리행태)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate oral health-related behaviors of some elementary school students by installation of toothbrushing facility. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed, out by 377 elementary school students with toothbrushing facility, and by 260 elementary school students with no toothbrushing facility in M city from November to December, 2015. The data were analyzed by ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS 12.0 program. The questionnaire comprised toothbrushing practice(2 items), satisfaction of toothbrushing facility(1 item), oral health knowledge(4 items), fluoride recognition(1 item), and necessity of fluoride mouthrinse(1 item). Results: The level of oral health knowledge was high in toothbrushing facility school. But toothbrushing practice was higher in school of no toothbrushing facility(63.8%) than the school with toothbrushing facility(49.1%)(p<0.001). The number of brushing times a week was also higher in school of no toothbrushing facility(1.98 times) than the toothbrushing facility school(1.59 times)(p=0.011). The dominant reason for no brushing was not recognition(65.8%) in toothbrushing facility school, lack of places(61.3%) in non toothbrushing facility school. Conclusions: In order to improve the oral health in elementary school students, it is necessary to provide toothbrushing education and toothbrushing facility in elementary schools.
