본 논문은 암서 조긍섭(1873~1933)과 면우 곽종석(1846~1919)의 심론에 대한 해석을 고찰함으로써 이들의 이론적 차이를 밝힌 것이다. 조긍섭 심론의 특징은 심합이기(心合理氣)에 있다. 심의 주재로서 리를 인정하면서도, 동시에 작용으로서 기의 역할과 지위를 인정하자는 입장이다. 기가 있어야 리가 내재할 수 있고 심의 주재도 가능하다. 이러한 이유에서 조긍섭은 '심합이기'의 관점에서 '심즉리'를 주장하는 곽종석을 비판한다. 곽종석 심론의 특징은 심즉리(心卽理)에 있다. 심에 기가 없는 것은 아니지만, 결국 심이 심다울 수 있는 것(심이 한 몸을 주재할 수 있는 것)은 리 때문이니 심은 리가 되어야 한다. 이러한 이유에서 곽종석은 '심즉리'의 관점에서 '심합이기'를 주장하는 조긍섭을 비판한다. 또한 이들의 심론은 '지각을 기로 볼 것인지 리로 볼 것인지'와 같은 지각의 문제로 전개된다. 조긍섭이 심의 지각을 <허령한>기로써 해석한다면, 곽종석은 심의 지각을 <허령한>리로써 해석한다. 조긍섭에 따르면, 심의 지각은 '허령한 기'에 의해 가능하며, 이때 허령한 기의 작용이 바로 심의 지각작용이다. 결국 심에는 <허령한>기에 해당하는 지각작용이 있으므로 곽종석처럼 심을 곧장 리로써 해석해서는 안 된다. 곽종석에 따르면, 심에 <허령한>리의 신묘함이 가해짐으로써 지각이 가능하다. 심의 지각은 조긍섭의 말처럼 허령한 기의 작용이 아니라 '허령한 리'가 그것(심)을 신묘하게 한 결과이다. 이에 곽종석은 조긍섭이 심의 지각을 기의 작용으로 이해하기 때문에 '심즉리'를 제대로 알지 못한 것이라고 비판한다.

Hyperplastic gastric polyps (HPPs) are the most common type of gastric polyps. They are assumed to be caused by chronic inflammation and regenerative proliferation, although this has not been clearly investigated yet. Many studies suggested the development of fundic gland polyps and carcinoid during long-term proton pump inhibitor (PPI) therapy, but the relationship between PPIs and HPPs is still unclear. We encountered a patient who showed aggravation of HPPs after long-term use of PPIs. A 58-year-old male patient with liver cirrhosis visited our hospital because of hematemesis. We started PPI medication after confirming esophageal variceal bleeding and duodenal ulcer with blood clot in its base via emergency endoscopy. He took PPIs for three years because of an intractable duodenal ulcer. There was a marked increase in the size of the pre-existing polyps and in the development of new polyps. We presumed that the PPIs caused the aggravation of the HPPs, so we stopped their administration. After five months, the HPPs shrank and the polyps were partially degraded. More prospective studies are needed to investigate the relationship between HPPs and PPIs.

More than 100 bridges have been annually collapsed or seriously damaged by scouring in Korea. It is extremely hard to understand the complicated scour mechanism and estimate the scour depth with accuracy in fields, however since scouring is a very complex manifestation of sediment transport unable to describe with a simple mathematical tool. In order to obtain the reasonable solution to bridge scouring, therefore, the interdisciplinary co-operation is strongly recommended. In this study the special task force team for the scour problems around Incheon 2nd bridge piers is made, in which all kinds of scour oriented researches such as oceangraphic survey, hydraulic model test, numerical simulation, scour rate test, real-time scour monitoring, etc will be carried out. This paper provides this interdisciplinary procedure in details.

전력 산업은 대규모 투자가 필수적인 산업이라 자연 독점으로 남아 있게 되는 경우가 다반사이다. 그래서 사용 요금은 시장의 규칙에 의해서가 아니라 규제자에 의해 많은 부수적인 방법을 통해 회수하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모선 간 전력량을 고려한 전력망 사용요금 산정법을 제안하고자 한다. Equivalent Bilateral Exchange(EBE)와 Relative Electrical Path Width(REPW)를 각각 정의한 후 EBE와 REPW를 이용하여 전력 이동량을 계산하고 모선 간 전력 이동량을 바탕으로 DC 조류 계산을 이용하여 전력망 사용량을 할당하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법을 검증하기 위해 2기 4모선을 테스트 시스템으로 선정해 기존의 방법과 비교를 해 보았다.

this paper suggest a new space vector PWM modulation method with short processing time which does not need idenfication of nearest three vectors(NTV) and duty calculation for each vector. The suggested PWM method makes mean value of phase voltage to be same as reference during every modulation period by use of a triangle in small hexagon on multi-level vector space. This paper described the suggested modulation method can be successfully applied to the space vector modulation use of multi-level inverter by computer simulations and experiments.
