  • In this paper, we study conformal transformations between special class of Finsler metrics named C-reducible metrics. This class includes Randers metrics in the form $F={\alpha}+{\beta}$ and Kropina metric in the form $F={\frac{{\alpha}^2}{\beta}}$. We prove that every conformal transformation between locally dually flat Randers metrics must be homothetic and also every conformal transformation between locally dually flat Kropina metrics must be homothetic.

  • In this paper, considering the class of complex Kropina metrics we obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions that these are generalized Berwald and complex Douglas metrics, respectively. Special attention is devoted to a class of complex Douglas-Kropina spaces, in complex dimension 2. Also, some examples of complex Douglas-Kropina metrics are pointed out. Finally, the complex Douglas-Kropina metrics are characterized through the theory of projectively related complex Finsler metrics.

  • In this paper, we shall find the conditions that the Finsler space with a special $(\alpha,\beta)$-metric be a Riemannian space and a Berwald space.

  • In a Finsler space, we introduce a special $(\alpha,\beta)$-metric L satisfying $L^2(\alpha,\beta) = c_1\alpha^2 + 2c_2\alpha\beta + c_3\beta^2$, which $c_i$ are constants. We investigate the Berwald connection in a Finsler space with this special $\alpha,\beta)$-metric.
