Beginning in the 2007-2008 season, the men's pro-basketball league changed a foreigner selection method by introducing a draft system which leads to a tryout from the free agency system. Also in the same season, the woman's pro-basketball league changed its system from one that permitted foreign players to one that doesn't allow foreign player participation. The reason for this change is thought to be financial problems. However this institutional change brings about the reduction in the quality of basketball and it will affect spectators in a negative way. The empirical study attempted to analyze the effects which follows an institutional change in Korean men's pro-basketball. The research showed that the men's pro-basketball league wasn't affected at all due to foreigner selection method by a draft system that led to a tryout from the free agency system.

This study aims to integrate sports uniform design into fashion as an effective communication means by analyzing the uniforms of women's pro basketball and volleyball teams in the country. As part of the research method, a literature review was conducted on the domestic pro sports background and women's basketball and volleyball uniforms. For empirical research, an analysis was performed of the uniforms of 12 teams in total: six women's pro basketball teams and six women's pro volleyball teams in the 2013~2014 league. The following results were obtained. First, in terms of formativeness, sleeveless shirts and shorts are basic in both basketball and volleyball. However, there are remarkable differences between the two. Shirts in volleyball are tighter, with the body figure visible, and shorts are shorter in length than those in basketball. Most basketball uniforms have a V-neckline and are collarless, while volleyball uniforms have a standup collar in all teams. Second, both basketball and volleyball apply the representative color of the sponsoring company and the team's typical color, but common colors, such as blue, navy, and white, are used in many teams, which fails to represent a uniquely differentiated image. Third, the logo or symbol of a sponsor is excessively applied to both basketball and volleyball uniforms. This downgrades the uniform's own esthetic features. Fourth, a fashionable uniform design, that reflects the bodily characteristics of women and the characteristics of the sports game would be a beneficial communication tool for all the tiers to become involved in participation and entertainment.

본 연구의 목적은 프로농구 경기의 승부 결과를 회귀모형을 이용하여 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 전통적인 회귀분석 방법과 문자적인 변수를 사용하는 퍼지회귀모형을 사용하였다. 승부의 결과를 두 팀 간의 점수차로 표현하여 분석한 일반회귀분석 방법에서는 두 팀의 점수차에 영향을 미치는 변수를 찾아 승부의 결과에 대한 회귀모형을 제시하였다. 그리고 두 팀의 승부 결과를 "대승, 승리, 신승, 석패, 패배 그리고 대패"와 같이 문자적으로 표현한 퍼지회귀모형에서는 각 팀의 경기력과 조직력을 퍼지수로 표현하여 각 팀의 경기력과 조직력이 승부의 결과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 한국프로농구연맹(KBL, Korea Basketball League)에서 제공하는 2013~2014시즌의 자료와 프로농구의 결과를 분석하는 칼럼들을 이용하여 분석하였다.

이 연구는 일반선형모형에 이원변량분석과 위계적회귀분석을 적용하여 한국남자프로농구 경기기록 (2014-2015 정규리그 270경기)을 분석하였다. 이원변량분석 결과, 3점슛시도에서 승패와 홈원정 집단간에 상호작용효과가 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 이 외에 변인들 (2점슛시도, 어시스트, 속공, 선수교체)은 모두 승패 집단간에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 홈원정경기 간에는 유의한 차이가 없게 나타났다. 위계적회귀분석 결과, 어시스트는 3점슛시도가 총득점에 미치는 영향에 대해 통계적으로 유의한 조절변수로 나타났으며, 속공은 어시스트가 2점슛성공에 미치는 영향에 대해 유의한 조절변수로 나타났다. 반면 어시스트는 2점슛시도가 총득점에 미치는 영향에, 그리고 속공은 어시스트가 3점슛성공에 미치는 영향에 유의한 조절효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 선수교체는 2점슛시도, 3점슛시도 그리고 어시스트가 총득점에 미치는 영향에 통계적으로 유의한 조절효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

한국남자프로농구 경기기록을 이용하여 승패결정요인을 분석하였다. 2010년 10월부터 2011년 3월까지, 2011년 10월부터 2012년 3월까지 치러진 정규리그 (540경기)의 기록을 분석하여 승패결정요인을 추정하였다. 한국농구연맹은 7개 공격변인과 7개 수비변인에 대한 자료를 제공하고 있다. 이들 자료 중에 공헌도와 공격력에 적용되는 6개 공격변인 (2점슛 성공률, 3점슛 성공률, 자유투 성공률, 공격리바운드, 어시스트, 턴오버)과 4개 수비변인 (수비리바운드, 스틸, 굿디펜스, 블록슛)이 승패에 미치는 영향을 통계적으로 분석하기 위해 로지스틱회귀분석과 의사결정나무분석을 적용하였다. 두 분석은 PASW와 Answer Tree 통계프로그램을 사용하였으며 모든 유의수준은 .05로 설정하였다. 로지스틱회귀분석 결과, 6개 공격변인 중 2점슛 성공률, 3점슛 성공률, 턴오버가 통계적으로 승패에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 4개 수비변인 중 굿디펜스를 제외한 수비리바운드, 스틸, 블록슛이 통계적으로 승패에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 공격변인 의사결정나무분석 결과에서는 2점슛 성공률이 51%-58%이며, 3P%가 31%를 초과하고 TO가 11개 이하일때 승리할 수 있는 확률이 80.85%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 이에 반해 수비변인 의사결정나무분석 결과, 수비리바운드가 24개를 초과하고 스틸이 6개를 초과하며, 블록슛이 2개를 초과할 때 승리할 수 있는 확률이 94.12%로 가장 높게 나타났다.
