도재용(陶材用) 비귀금속(非貴金屬) 합금(合金)의 재사용(再使用)에 따른 결합강도(結合强度)의 실험적(實驗的) 측정(測定) (An Experimental Evaluation on Bond Strength between Porcelain and Recast Allog)

  • Bond strength between alloy and ceramic plays an important role in deciding the quaring the processing of metalceramic restorations. Now the author had an experiment on the measurement of bond strength differences accoding to the contents of recast alloy used during the processing of metal-ceramic restorations. In the experiment, Anusavice's Planar Interface Shear Bond Test was employed to determine the bond strength. Total 25 specimens were divided as 5 groups, that is, 5 specimens in a group respections : Group I (new alloy 100%) Group II (new 75%$\cdot$recast 25%), Group III (new 50%$\cdot$recast 50%), Group IV (new 25%$\cdot$recast 75%), Group V(recast 100%). All specimens examined micropically and respective strength values of the group specimens were checked simultaneously. The results were as follows, 1. In the analtsis of variance the result showed the significant differences of 1%(P<0.01) among the each group classifid according to the recast contents. 2. When the interfaces of specimens were examined with an electron microscope, the air bubble were evenly occurred in all the specimens, and the occurrence frequencies and the sizes of air bubble were different between Group I and Group III, especially marked different Group I and Croup V. 3. In respective verification of each group through T-test, between Group I and Group II, between Group I and Group III did not show significant differences. 4. There was significant difference between Group I and Group IV, between Group I and Group V as 1%(P<0.01). 5. In the Shear Bond Test of all the groups, Croup V showed the lowest value. 무화과(Fig) 효소를 첨가한 유산균을 이용하여 알코올 대사활성 함유 치즈의 제조 (Production of cheese containing alcohol metabolism using Lactobacillus with fig enzyme)

  • 본 연구에서는 알코올 분해능이 높은 기능성 치즈를 제조하기 위하여 L. kitasatonis, L. amylophillus, L. mesenteroides sub. 및 무화과 효소를 이용하였다. 각각 균주의 에탄올, 내산 및 내담즙에 내성이 우수함을 확인하였고, ADH 및 ALDH 활성도를 측정한 결과 10%의 무화과 효소를 첨가하였을 때의 ADH 활성도는 각각 $688.39{\pm}51.63$, $1054.98{\pm}79.12$, $825.28{\pm}61.89{\mu}mol$로 나타났으며 ALDH는 각각 $751.91{\pm}54.14$, $1209.93{\pm}87.11$, $891.09{\pm}64.16{\mu}mol$로 무화과를 첨가하지 않았을 때보다 각각 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 L. amylophillus 균주를 이용하여 치즈를 제조한 뒤, 10%의 무화과 효소를 첨가하였을 때 ADH 및 ALDH 분해능이 무화과효소를 첨가하지 않았을 때 보다 각각 252, 246% 증가함을 확인하였다. 결론적으로 무화과 효소를 첨가하였을 때, L. amylophillus을 이용한 치즈의 제품이 높은 알코올 분해능을 가지는 것으로 확인되었고, 이를 통해 기능성 식품의 제조로써 무화과 효소의 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.

THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT SHADING OF MULCHING ON YIELD OF ROOT AND QUALITY IN PANAX GINSENG

  • This experiment was on the purpose to study the effects of different shading of Mulching treatments on the quality and yield of ginseng root. This experiment were conducted at Mei-Feng for one year, from July, 1972 to July, 1973. The variety been used was introduced Korea Panax ginsvng. Three different Shading of Mulching treatments have been studied. The results were summerized as follows: 1. The growth of ginseng plant is good under around 4,300 Lux of light intensity. Fig . showed the shadow treatment of straw had a better effect than that of black or grey plastic film. The differences between treatments were significant. 2. The adequate soil temperature for ginseng culture was in the range of $16-18^{\circ}C$. Fig 2. showed that there were significant differences among treatments, of which the straw shadow treatment had the best effect. 3. The growth of ginseng plant was greatly affected wth various shadow treatments. Fig 1. showed both straw and black plastic film treatments had a better effects on growth of stem, leaf area and leaf numbers. 4. Fig. 2. 3. 4. 5 indicated there were distingished differences among all treatments. The straw and black plastics film mulching treatments had a better effects on root length, root diameter, root weight and leaf weight than the grey plastic film. 5. The amount of plant alkaloids and panacene content had related to the shadow treatment, as showed in Fig. 6 and 7 that straw shadow treatment had greatly increased the procuction of plant alkaloids and panacene content. 6. The quality and yield of roots of ginseng greatly affected by different shading of mulching treatments.

Effects of Temperature Stress on VFB Shifts of HfO2-SiO2 Double Gate Dielectrics Devices

  • In this work, we investigated the effects of temperature stress on flatband voltage (VFB) shifts of HfO2-SiO2 double gate dielectrics devices. Fig. 1 shows a high frequency C-V of the device when a positive bias for 10 min and a subsequent negative bias for 10 min were applied at room temperature (300 K). Fig. 2 shows the corresponding plot when the same positive and negative biases were applied at a higher temperature (473.15 K). These measurements are based on the BTS (bias temperature stress) about mobile charge in the gate oxides. These results indicate that the positive bias stress makes no difference, whereas the negative bias stress produces a significant difference; that is, the VFB value increased from ${\Delta}0.51$ V (300 K, Fig. 1) to ${\Delta}14.45$ V (473.15 K, Fig. 2). To explain these differences, we propose a mechanism on the basis of oxygen vacancy in HfO2. It is well-known that the oxygen vacancy in the p-type MOS-Cap is located within 1 eV below the bottom of the HfO2 conduction band (Fig. 3). In addition, this oxygen vacancy can easily trap the electron. When heated at 473.15 K, the electron is excited to a higher energy level from the original level (Fig. 4). As a result, the electron has sufficient energy to readily cross over the oxide barrier. The probability of trap about oxygen vacancy becomes very higher at 473.15 K, and therefore the VFB shift value becomes considerably larger.

증발계 증발량의 시계예 및 통계적 특성 분석 (Analysis of the Statistical and Time-Series Characteristics for Pan Evaporation)

  • In order to estimate furture consumtive use, some statistical characteristics of 22-year pan evaporation data at four selected stations were calculated in this study. Districal distribution, trend analysis and time-series, statistical and periodic analysis for annual, monethly and ten-day values were performed in the statistical analysis. The stations are Seoul, Taeku, Jeonju and Mokpo for monthly data, and Suweon data are compared to the reported Penman values. The results are as followed: 1. Annual evaporation ranged to 990-1,375mm varying with the locations of the stations. The Districal distribution of evaporation in the Republic is shown in Fig. 1. 2. The trend analysis for annual evaporation resulted in detail in Table 2 and Fig. 2, through simple moving average methods. The results show relatively short-period data of about 10 years would be acceptable for field use. 3. The means and dispersions of monthly evaporation at four stations are detailed in Table 3. 4. The monthly evaporation approached to the trend of normal distribution Fig. 3 showed the examples of normal distribution for each typical monthly data. 5. The correlograms detailed in Fig. 4, shows the time-series characteristics of monthly evaporation, whose periodic term should be twelve months. 6. The periodic analysis for monthly evapolation results in Table 4. Fig. 5 shows the comparison of estimated values to actual and the trend approaches Shuster's periodic trend. 7. A periodic description of days after March 1 for irrigation periods was developed to predict ten-day evaporation in Fig. 6. The ten-day etraporation is different in the distribution form and occurence period of maximum values from the reported Penman's man's evapotranspiration.

무화과(Ficus carica L.) 잎의 메탄올 추출물과 그 분획물의 살충활성 (Insecticidal Potential of Methanol Extract and Its Fractions from Fig (Ficus carica L.) Leaves)

  • 양한 환경조건 온실, 하우스 및 노지에서 재배된 무화과 잎의 메탄을 추출물 및 그 분획물의 살충활성을 검토한 결과 노지에서 재배된 무화과 잎의 메탄을 추출물($80{\sim}89%$ 억제)이 온실이나 하우스에서 재배된 것에 비해 점박이응애(T. urticae)에 대해 더 높은 활성을 보였다. 특히 노지 재배 무화과 잎의 메탄올 추출물에서 분획한 에틸아세테이트층과 헥산층의 점박이응애에 대한 살충활성은 각각 92%와 90%로 가장 높은 방제가를 보였다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 노지재배 무화과 잎의 메탄올 추출물 및 그 분획물이 식물유래 해충방제 수단으로서 잠재적인 살충효과를 기대할 수 있을 것으로 본다.

저당성 무화과 잼의 상품성 제고 (Processing of Low Sugar Fig Jam for Marketable Production)

  • 저당성 무화과 잼의 상품성을 높이기 위하여 값싼 PE 대체용 재료의 선발, 색택 및 조직감의 개선 및 저장중의 안정성 유지의 방법을 알아보고자 하였다. 무화과 펙틴질의 DE를 감소시켜 저당화 잼을 만들 수 있게 하는 PE를 대체하기 위하여 선별한 과일 펄프는 방울토마토가 가장 효과적이었다. 색깔을 개선하기 위한 천연색소는 Carmacid R이 효과적이었으며 조직감의 개선은 설탕 사용량의 20%를 물엿으로 대체한 것이 효과적이었고 갈변방지용으로 MULTIPHOSE의 첨가는 저온 저장시 적색도의 유지에 효과적이었다. 관능검사의 결과는 상품성 높이고자 개발한 잼이 색깔은 좋은 평가를 받았고 맛, 향, 조직감 및 기호도에서는 서로 유의차가 없었다.

난지과실을 이용한 식초제조 (Vinegar Production from subtropical Fruits)

  • Optimum processing conditions for vinegar fermentation using fig, pear and persimmon were determined. Alcohol contents in the fermentatio broth of crushed fruits of fig, pear and persimmon were 7.5%, 5.1% and 6.8%, respectively. Alcohol contents increased up to 14.3~15.1% by adding 24% of sugar to the fruit juices. The total acidity of 7.04%, 3.30% and 3.66% were obtained for fig, pear and persimmon, respectively, through acetic acid fermentation of fruit juices containing 8% ethanol. Acetic acid yield increased by shaking during fermentation for pear and persimmon broth. Acetic acid yield increased 1.80~1.92 times by adding 0.5% of yeast extract to the fermentation broth of pear and persimmon. After fermentation, each fruit vinegar was clarified up to 93.1~97.4 of light transmittance by using 0.6% of kaki shibu for 4 days at 1$0^{\circ}C$. After aging for 60 days at 1$0^{\circ}C$, the acidity of fruit vinegar decreased slightly. Tannin content of persimmon vineger was remarkably higher than the other, while light absorbance of pear vinegar was higher than the other vinegars. Acetic acid was identified as the main volatile organic acid in the fruit vinegars, while propionic, isobutyric and isovaleric acids were identified as the minors. The content of non-volatile organic acids in the pear vinegar was higher than that in the persimmon vinegar. Sensory evaluation results indicate that the fig vinegar was preferred to the pear vinegar in the aspects of color, flavor and overall acceptability, but the fig vinegar had a strong background taste. Sensory scores of the persimmon vinegar increased significantly by pasteurization, but those of the fig and pear vinegars did not by pasteurization.

미숙 무화과 추출물을 이용한 분무건조 분말의 품질특성 (Quality characteristics of spray dried powder from unripe fig extract)

  • 본 연구에서는 상품과로서 가치가 없어 전량 폐기되고 있는 미숙 무화과를 이용하여 산업적 이용 증대 및 식품 가공용 연육제로의 활용 가능성을 확인하기 위하여 미숙 무화과에 부형제인 maltodextrin을 5%, 10% 및 20%를 첨가하여 혼합한 후 분무건조공정을 이용하여 분말화 하였다. 분무건조 분말의 수분함량은 2.59~2.65%였으며 부형제인 maltodextrin 첨가량이 늘어날수록 색도는 L값이 늘고 a와 b값은 줄어드는 경향을 나타내었고 입자크기는 동결건조 분말($209.67{\mu}m$)에 비하여 $22.18{\sim}37.33{\mu}m$로 유의적으로 작고 균일한 크기였다. 수분흡수지수는 maltodextrin 10% 첨가군이 0.11로 가장 낮았으며 수분용해지수는 99.10%로 가장 높았다. 전체적으로는 분무건조 분말이 동결건조 분말에 비해 수분흡수지수는 낮고 수분용해지수는 높은 경향을 나타내어 산업적으로 이용시 분무건조 분말이 동결건조 분말보다 우수할 것으로 사료된다. 미숙 무화과 분말의 protease 활성은 동결건조 분말(0.92 unit/g)이 분무건조 분말(0.48~0.84 unit/g)보다 유의적으로 높은 활성을 나타내었으나, in vitro 인체 내 소화 모델에 대한 protease 활성은 분무건조 분말에서만 효소 활성이 나타나 낮은 pH에서도 안정함을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 실험결과, 미숙 무화과 분말 제조시 동결건조보다는 maltodextrin을 10% 혼합하여 제조된 분무건조 분말에서 protease활성이 우수하였으며 향후식품가공용 연육제로서 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단되었다.

식분환(息賁丸) 및 비기환(?氣丸)이 백혈병(白血病) 임파종(淋巴腫) 환자(患者)에서 추출(抽出)한 암세포(癌細胞)에 미치는 항암(抗癌) 효과(效果) (Antitumor Effects of Sigbunhwan and Bigihwan on Tumor Cells derived from Leukemia and Lymphoma Patients)

  • Attempts were made to see the antitumor effects of Sigbunhwan widely used in Oh-jug(五積) employing tumor cells Lines such as K562 derived from erythroleukemia, Raji from lympoma and MO-4 from blastogenic tumor. Different concentrations of Sigbunhwan and combined therapy of Sigbunhwan and Bigihwan were treated to those tumor cells lines and then live cells were counted by Trypan blue assay and $^{3}H-Thymidine$ uptake assay. The results obtained were as follows. 1. $^{3}H-Thymidine$ uptake of various tumor cells lines when treated with high concentrations of Sigbunhwan for 48hours showed that the rate of DNA synthesis decreased 76% to 90% by the treatment of 1% Sigbunhwan but this inhibition was rather decreased when Sigbunhwan concentration was increased to 10, 15 and 20%.(Fig 3) 2. When Sigbunhwan was combined with Bigihwan which was also an antitumor drug, the effectiveness of tumor cells dealth was somewhat inceased showing a generally similar pattern to that of Bigihwan alone used.(Fig 4) This combination therapy also showed that higher concentrations of antitumor agent were no more·effective or rather harmful according to the tumor cells lines having different growth rate.(Fig 5,6) 3. The antitumor effects of combined Sigbunhwan and Bigihwan was decreased if the concentrations of this combination therapy was increased to 10 times showing relatively sluggish decrease in K562 and MO-4 but a sharp inhibitory effect in Raji which grows slowly.(Fig 7). 4. When Sigbunhwan was treated at low concentrations, K562 was more inhibited by 0.75% to 1.0% of Sigbunhwan while Raji was more inhibited by 0.25% to 0.5% of that.(Fig 8) 5. When Sigbunhwan was treated together with Bigihwan at low concentrations, the tumor cells death rate was 75% to 89% in Baji, 31% to 95% in MO-4 and 41 to 89% in K562, showing this combination therapy was more effect to Raji derived from lymphoma.(Fig 9) 6. The number of live tumor cells was correlated with optical density of MTT assay when measured with 2% Sigbunhwan treatment to tumor cells lines for 24 hours.(Fig 10) 7. 7 days treatment of 0.25% Sigbunhwan was compared with one day treatment of 1% suggesting long term treatment more effective.(Fig 11)
