This study aimed to compare and analyze two respective versions of Jusikbangmun: Nogajae's and National Library of Korea. Types and composition of recipes, archives, classification of names and contents, techniques, tools, and measurement were analyzed. Nogajae's, owned by the Yuwagong family, has established sources while the writer and its publication year are unknown. The other version from the National Library of Korea, on the other hand, has a clear publication year (February, Year Jeongmi) while writer is unclear. In terms of its archive, Nogajae's is twice the size as that of the National Library of Korea, which is the same percentage (85.42%) as that from Nogajae's. However, six types of liquor have been written in its 2 books, respectively, and no overlaps occurred. Considering the Korean alphabet, Nogajae's was published earlier. Nogajae's and the one from the National Library of Korea have 104 kinds of foods (118 times) and 50 kinds of foods (51 times), respectively.

A comparative study on analytico-synthetic systems and enumerative systems which have been used in Korea was dealt. The writer tries to compare the adaptability of both systems for Korean author notations. The following topics are discussed in detail: 1) The objectives of the book numbers. 2) Korean alphabet as author numbers. a) Brevity, simplicity and the possibility of expansion. b) A study on the defects of the analytico-synthetic notation devised by Professor Jai Chul Lee. c) A study on the pronounceability and the ambiguity. 3) A comparative study on filing efficiency of the Professor Lee's author marks and the writer's.

지문자는 청각장애인이 사용하는 수화로 표현하지 못하는 한글 문자를 알파벳으로 표시하기위한 손 제스처이다. 본 논문에서는 추출된 손 영역의 무게 중심과 퍼지 논리를 이용하여 지문자를 인식하는 알고리즘을 제안하고, 한글 문자를 표현하는 시스템을 개발한다. USB 카메라로부터 얻어진 영상에서 히스토그램을 이용하여 손의 피부색 영역을 추출하고, 영상 마스크를 이용하여 피부색이 아닌 배경 영역을 제거한다. 문턱 값을 사용하여 얻어진 이진화된 영상에서 손의 영역을 검출하고, 무게 중심을 이용하여 손 중심과 손가락 끝의 거리를 측정한다. 얻어진 거리 정보에 퍼지 기법을 적용하여 손가락의 굽힘 정도를 판단하고, 손 모양 데이터베이스에서 손가락 굽힘 정도와 가장 근사한 한글 문자를 선택한다.

The phonemic awareness program included construction of 45 activities emphasizing various sounds in speech and letter names using a storybook. The subjects were thirty 1st and 2nd grade low-income(15 experimental and 15 control group) children attending an after-school program in Seoul. Pre- and post-tests assessed children's reading, self-concept, and learning motivation. The experimental group children had rich opportunity to deal with and discuss sounds, syllables, phonemes, and the Korean alphabet names during storybook reading, games, and play over a 12 week period, while the control group children were provided with worksheets, subject tutoring, and homework guidance. Results showed that the phonemic activities were an effective and useful way to enhance children's reading ability, self-concept, and learning motivation.

Chinese is the most spoken language in the world. However, because Chinese is a hieroglyphic language, using Chinese in a digital environment is very inconvenient. Chinese users are using Pinyin for Chinese input, but the phonetic representation of the Latin alphabet is not good. Hunminjeongeum has an excellent phonetic representation which can improve Chinese usage in digital environment. Therefore, it is possible to improve the use of Chinese by Chinese users in digital environment and to help Korean users who are learning Chinese. Therefore, this paper proposes a Chinese input method using Hunminjeongeum. In addition, we develop an input software using this input method and verify its effectiveness by evaluating usability.

지금까지의 연구에서 Japanese Puzzle을 이용한 인쇄체 영문자 인식을 구현하여 좋은 결과를 얻었고, 본 논문 에서는 인쇄체 영문자(바탕, 돋움) 인식을 확장시켜 영문장을 인식하기 위해 키보드에서 입력 가능한 숫자 및 기호를 포함하여 인식하는 시스템을 구현하였다. 이미지를 입력 받아 이진화 처리, 히스토그램 투영을 이용한 문자 분리는 영문자 인식에서와 동일한 처리를 한다. 기호 중에서 세로 길이보다 가로 길이가 긴 기호인 -,-,= 만 가로를 정규화 하였고, 나머지는 세로를 정규화 하였다. 정규화 된 문자에 Japanese Puzzle을 역으로 적용하여 구하여진 수치 정보로부터 영문자, 숫자, 기호를 분류 및 인식하여 좋은 결과를 얻었다.

This paper studies the problem of inferring a chemical compound from a feature vector consisting of the numbers of occurrences of vertex-labeled paths, which has potential future applications for designing new chemical compounds based on the kernel methods. This paper shows that the problem for outerplanar graphs of bounded degree can be solved in polynomial time if an alphabet is fixed and the maximum length of paths and the number of edges of each face are bounded by a constant. It is also shown that the problem is strongly NP-hard even for trees of unbounded degree.

The study aimed at investigating the terms for each type of the current household furniture and at analyzing a standard based on those terms researched for the furniture, not including kitchen and child furniture. The study was conducted in sales and R&D division of major furniture brands such as Jang-In Gagu, Borneo, and Livart by surveying their staffs, and then, the investigated names were classified according to similar criteria and it was finally analyzed by the definite standard of the names made. In the results, the following 5 standards largely play roles for the naming. First, name according to requirements, second, construction of door, third, materials, fourth, shapes, and lastly, function. Except for the terms of "Sobari" expressed only as Japanese and "living room cabinet of Extension-type" using Korean and English along, most of the names show furniture in detail, and the names from Hangeul, Korean alphabet and from the English have recently and drastically increased with the lifestyle change influenced from Western world.

The purpose of this article is to continue the study of q, 𝜔-special functions in the spirit of Wolfgang Hahn from the previous papers by Annaby et al. and Varma et al., with emphasis on q, 𝜔-Apostol Bernoulli and Euler polynomials, Ward-𝜔 numbers and multiple q, 𝜔power sums. Like before, the q, 𝜔-module for the alphabet of q, 𝜔-real numbers plays a crucial role, as well as the q, 𝜔-rational numbers and the Ward-𝜔 numbers. There are many more formulas of this type, and the deep symmetric structure of these formulas is described in detail.

Skilled typists can type characters or words without looking at keyboard, relying on the finger's relative position. If the relative positions of the fingers can be identified, a virtual keyboard may be accomplished by applying the concept of "DataGlove" or "FingerRing". The virtual keyboard may be efficient as a new mobile input device supporting QWERTY keyboard layout. For the purpose of investigating skilled typing pattern, in this paper the touch-positions of the fingers are measured with a touchscreen while five skilled typists type a long sentence. From these measurements it can be observed that the groups of touch-positions are classified into alphabet characters. Though there are some overlapped groups we can find constant distances capable of being discriminated among the groups from investigation of the change of touch-position for touch-time. Based on the analysis, the prediction algorithm of the constant distance is proposed and evaluated, which is useful for realization of a portable virtual keyboard.le virtual keyboard.
