  • In this paper, the methods of designing and implementing user interaction using jQuery in Web Application are suggested. While computing ability of smart devices grows up, web application technology is generalized. So JavaScript is one of noticeable web application technologies, and jQuery is the most popular JavaScript framework. We described basic grammar, scalability and plug-ins of jQuery. We categorized user interactions and animations and described methods to implement it.

  • In this paper, we propose an implementation of user interaction effect of web application using jQuery. jQuery is a very popular and extensible JavaScript library. It is strong in controlling DOM(Document Object Model), events and Ajax. But, it is poor at advanced effect of web user UI(User Interface). Implementing advanced effects need to extend jQuery or some skills. So, our proposal is a good way to implement UI effects.

  • In order to investigate information seeking behavior of web search users, this study analyzes transaction logs posed by users of NAVER, a major Korean Internet search service. We present a session definition method for Web transaction log analysis, a way of cleaning original logs and a query classification method. We also propose a query term definition method that is necessary for Korean Web transaction log analysis. It is expected that this study could contribute to the development and implementation of more effective Web search systems and services.

  • In For the past few years, query log data has been collected to find user's behavior in using the site. Many researches have studied on the usage of query logs to extract user's preference, recommend personalization, improve caching and pre-fetching of Web objects, build better adaptive user interfaces, and also to improve Web search for a search engine application. A query log contain data such as the client's IP address, time and date of request, the resources or page requested, status of request HTTP method used and the type of browser and operating system. A query log can offer valuable insight into web site usage. A proper compilation and interpretation of query log can provide a baseline of statistics that indicate the usage levels of website and can be used as tool to assist decision making in management activities. In this paper we want to discuss on the tasks performed of query logs in pre-processing of web usage mining. We will use query logs from an online newspaper company. The query logs will undergo pre-processing stage, in which the clickstream data is cleaned and partitioned into a set of user interactions which will represent the activities of each user during their visits to the site. The query logs will undergo essential task in pre-processing which are data cleaning and user identification.

  • This paper propose WebDBs(Web Database system) which retrieves information registered in web using query language similar to SQL. This proposed system automatically extracts information which is needed to retrieve from HTML documents dispersed in web. Also, it has an ability to process SQL based query intended for the extracted information. Web database system takes the most of query processing time for capturing documents going through network line. And so, the information previously retrieved is reused in similar applications after stored in cache in perceiving that most of the web retrieval depends on web locality. In this case, we propose cache mechanism adapted to user applications by storing cached information associated with retrieved query. And, Web search engine is implemented based on these concepts.

  • The applying of semantic technologies that aim to let computers understand and automatically process the meaning of the interlinked data on the Web is spreading. In Semantic Web, understanding and accessing the associations between data that is, the meaning between data as well as accessing to the data itself is important. W3C recommended RDF (Resource Description Framework) as a standard format to represent both Semantic Web data and their associations and also proposed several RDF query languages in order to support query processing for RDF data. However further researches on the query language definition considering the semantic associations and query processing techniques are still required. In this paper, using the suffix array-based indexing scheme previously introduced for RDF query processing, we propose a query processing approach to handle ${\rho}$-path query which is the representative type of semantic associations. To evaluate the query processing performance of the proposed approach, we implemented two different types of query processing approaches and measured the average query processing times. The experiments show that the proposed approach achieved 1.8 to 2.5 and 3.8 to 11 times better performance respectively than others two.

  • This study examines trends of web query types and topics submitted to NAVER during one year period by analyzing query logs and click logs. There was a seasonal difference in the distribution of query types. Query type distribution was also different between weekdays and weekends, and between different days of the week. The log data show seasonal changes in terms of the topics of queries. Search topics seem to change between weekdays and weekends, and between different days of the week. However, there was little change in overall patterns of search behavior across one year. The implications for system designers and web content providers are discussed.

  • To develop enterprise architecture based distributed application needs consideration of various factors such as division of role between web-designer and software developer, defining entity and its usage, database connection and transaction processing. This paper presents DONSL(Data Server of Non SQL-Query) architecture that provides solution to above aspects through web-tier object modeling guaranteeing efficient transaction processing and performance between web-tier and 08MS through simplified usage of query logic property.

  • Ontology plays an important role of the Semantic Web to describe meaning and reasoning of resources. Ontology has more rich expressive power through OWL that is a next standard representation language recommended by W3C. As the Semantic Web is widely known, an amount of information resources on the Web is growing rapidly and the related information resources are placed in distributed systems on the Web. So, for providing seamless services without the awareness of far distance, efficient management of the distributed information resources is required. Especially, sear ching fast for local repositories that include data related to user's queries is important to the performance of systems in the distributed environment. In this paper, first, we propose an index structure to search local repositories related to queries in the distributed Semantic Web. Second, we propose a query rewriting strategy to extend given user's query using various expression of OWL. Through the proposed index and query strategy, we can utilize various expressions of OWL and find local repositories related to all query patterns on the Semantic Web.

  • This study examines web query types and topics submitted to Naver during one year period by analyzing query logs and click logs. Query logs capture queries users submitted to the system, and click logs consist of documents users clicked and viewed. This study presents a methodology to classify query types and topics. A method for click log analysis is also suggested. When classified by query types, there are more site search queries than content search queries. Queries about computer/internet. entertainment, shopping. game, education rank hightest. The implications for system designers and web content providers are discussed.
